Popular media personality, Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, professionally known as Nedu Wazobia, has made another controversial claim in his usual fashion and this time, it is about a well-known clergyman.

Nedu stated on Naija FM that the pastor of a popular church in the Island area of Lagos state dominated by young people have consensual sex with his female members.

According to the media personality, his friend has been trying to date some of the female members of the church, but they always turned him down only for him to discover that they sleep with the pastor.

Though he didn’t disclose the name of the church and pastor, Nedu hinted that the clergyman’s wife is an active preacher in the church.

He said this during the latest episode of his “Honest Bunch” podcast with actress Juliana Olayode, where they shared their opinions on marriage and virginity.

He stated that ladies who decide to remain chaste until marriage attach too much pride and value to it, which in the long run makes them misbehave.

“If I want to marry, I would not get marry to someone who’s a virgin and I will tell you why. A Nigerian lawyer, Adama Muhammed Ndakudu, has taken to social media to recount how he attempted to drink methylated spirit because his ex-girlfriend broke up with him.

Ndakuku shared this on the microblogging platform, Twitter while replying to a tweep who asked about the most embarrassing thing he had ever done.

According to him, he attempted to drink methylated spirit and was caught crying in the office because his girlfriend was breaking up with him.

He tweeted;

“It’s the kneeling to beg a woman that is shocking you? I have attempted to drink methylated spirit cos my then girlfriend was breaking up with me and was caught crying in the office while covering my face with newspaper. I think I just finished 200level that year,”

Singer Davido refunds IG vendor who called out Isreal DMW over N800K failed contract

Nigerian singer, Davido has made a refund to an Instagram vendor who called out his personal logistics manager, Isreal DMW, over a failed N800,000 contract.

A few weeks ago, the vendor, identified as as Mides Haven, took to Instagram to call out Israel for failing to fulfill their agreement regarding an advertisement.

According to her, Isreal charged N1 million to do a promotional video for her products and post it on his Instagram page. She paid an N800,000 deposit into his account with the understanding that when he makes the video, she would send the balance.

However, Isreal DMW collected the money but did not deliver on the job, and when she requested a refund, he refused, claiming that 30BG doesn’t refund.

Isreal DMW, on his part, stated that the vendor failed to pay him the full amount he had requested yet demanded that he promote her products.

Isreal, who insisted that “agreement is agreement,” said that he would only promote her products if she paid the full amount he demanded.

His words,

“Mide, pay the amount I have asked for if you truly want a video of me promoting our products. Because it was never in our initial agreement. Our earlier agreement was for me to post your products on my story. Which I fully did twice. Thanks”. Agreement is agreement”.

Well, 30BG boss Davido has now refunded the businesswoman her N800,000. She made this known via her Instagram page on Thursday, April 27 while sharing a screenshot of the credit alert she received from Davido.

The 30 BG boss who headlined the American business magazine Forbes’ 30 under 30 Africa Summit that was held in Gaborone a few days ago revealed during a chat with the publication that his initial career aspiration was to become a producer.

According to Davido, his older cousin was the musician in the family, while he was into the technical aspect of things.

However, he later discovered that he was very good at singing, which led him to pursue a career in music.

“I used to be a producer. I have always wanted to be like in the background of things. So, I used to have an older cousin, he was like the musician of the family. I’m the last born of my family.

A young man has stirred reactions from netizens after being captured on video rejecting a 1,000 Naira gift that music video director, TG Omori had offered to him.

As TG Omori prepared to get into his car, a group of young guys approached him and he considered giving them some money to cheer them up.

The most outspoken person among them was given a 1,000 naira note by the director as he got into his car, but he was refused by the man.

He objected by saying to TG Omori, “Na 1k be this oh boss,” and the popular filmmaker immediately withdrew his money, shot him an annoyed glance, and slammed his car door.

A student of the University of Benin, Edo state has gained attention after being caught on camera speaking English with a neutral British accent.

The young guy, identified as Aaron, claimed that he was born with it and that his father, a spoken English teacher, significantly impacted how he acquired the accent.

He became famous after being questioned by a female classmate who wanted to know what he thought of the female students in their department.

In a follow-up video, she questioned him about how he managed to talk so fluently while having a foreign accent.

He added that despite living in Nigeria, he often watches BBC news and British television, which has helped him perfect his use of the British accent.

After graduating, Aaron stated he is open to the possibility of working as a journalist or news reporter.

The UNIBEN student claimed that although he is capable of speaking Pidgin English, he prefers not to do so since his British accent makes it seem strange.

The winner of a record $2 billion Powerball jackpot has been photographed for the first time, nearly three months after his life was dramatically changed for good.

Edwin Castro won the largest lottery prize in US history last year but did not claim it until February 2023, and opted for a one-time lump sum payout.

He gave half of his winnings to the California public school system and kept a whopping $997.6 million to himself.

He has not done any media interviews since his life-changing win, but he did issue a statement, which Powerball officials read when he was announced as the winner of the lottery.

“As much as I am shocked and ecstatic to have won the Powerball drawing, the real winner is the California public school system,” he said in the statement.

“The mission of the California Lottery, which is to provide supplemental funding for California public education – both public schools and colleges – makes this a huge win for the state.”

“As someone who received the rewards of being educated in the California public education system, it’s gratifying to hear that, as a result of my win, the California school system greatly benefits as well,” he said.

Castro was photographed taking out a large envelope of cash from a Chase bank on Wednesday, April 26th, with his newly recruited security team protecting him.

The lucky 30-year-old wore a quarter-zip Under Armour shirt, sweatpants, and flip-flops in the photos released on social media.

Following his win, Castro has since invested in real estate as he acquired two multi-million-dollar properties in just one month.

In March, he paid $25.5 million for a Hollywood Hills estate in California and $4 million for a mansion with views of the San Gabriel Mountains in March.

The less expensive house is in Castro’s hometown of Altadena, not far from the gas station where he bought his winning Powerball ticket.

A trending video of controversial media personality, Nedu Wazobia and some of his friends playing a bottle flip challenge has caused a stir online.

The bottle flip challenge is a game where participants try to flip a partially-filled plastic bottle and make it land upright on a flat surface, such as a table or the ground. Usually, there’s a reward of food or money for any participant who’s able to flip the plastic bottle and make it land upright in each round.

However, Nedu and his friends decided to modify the game a little. Instead of the usual reward of either food or money, theirs was a lady with a massive behind who stood as the reward.

When stating the rules of the game, Nedu noted that anyone who succeeded in making the bottle land upright on the table would get a moment to fondle the lady’s behind until there’s a next winner.

Nedu and his friends took turns in flipping the bottle, and whenever any of them succeeded in keeping it upright, he proceeded to press the lady’s butt.

However, this didn’t sit well with social media users who opined that the idea was a huge disrespect to women. Taking to the comment section of the video, netizens fumed over the game and dragged the men to filth alongside the lady who allowed herself to be used as a reward.

“Fake news!” – Report refutes claim that footballer Hakimi’s wife demanded half of his assets but they were in his mother’s name

It has been established that reports claiming that Hiba Abouk, the Spanish wife of Moroccan footballer, Achraf Hakimi, demanded half of his assets but everything was in his mother’s name is false.

Recall that the internet was set abuzz few weeks ago following news that Hiba would leave the marriage penniless after their divorce because the 24-year-old footballer had no asset to his name.

In a new update, the African Report has stated that the report is blatantly false and not based on reality, and that it perfectly illustrates the results of an MIT study published in 2018, which found that fake news spreads faster than real information.

Hakimi’s mother had also earlier stated that the story was new to her because she didn’t know her son put all his properties in her name, as claimed online.

An investigative journalist, Rym Bousmid, who dug into the rumour to discover how it started also concluded that there was no element of truth in it.

“It started with a tweet published by the Ivorian journal First Mag. This online media platform is a regular offender when it comes to the dissemination of fake news, and seems to focus more on comedy than journalism,” Rym wrote in The African Report.

Gilles Verdez, a French journalist and sports reporter, also spoke out against the claims, stressing that they are “fake news” and that it’s impossible for Hakimi to put his property in his mother’s name.

“But it’s not true that he put the property in his mother’s name, that wouldn’t be possible. Not in Spain, not in Morocco, not in France,” the reporter said.

Meanwhile, Hakimi and his wife are yet to comment on the controversy.

Nigerian superstar singer, Davido Adeleke, professionally known as Davido, has unfollowed his logistics manager, Isreal DMW, on Instagram.

This comes following reports that Isreal allegedly went on a homophobic rant against social media influencer Enioluwa on his WhatsApp status.

He was said to have accused Enioluwa of being gay and stated that 30BG (Davido’s crew) is not in support of gays.

“We are not in support of gay, God forbid bad thing. They are into rubbish, and their useless supporters would say it’s content,” the alleged WhatsApp status read.

Although Isreal has debunked the report as false, a check on Davido’s Instagram page shows that he is no longer following his close aide Isreal on the platform.

A 25-year-old woman, identified as Mirabel Ladi Agada Abraham, has been brutally killed by an unidentified assailant(s) in Abuja.

Mirabel was declared missing on Facebook by one Abdullahi Haruna when she failed to return home after leaving her place of work at Gwarimpa on Friday, April 7.

He said they launched a search for her but didn’t find her for days till she was found dead along Gwarimpa road a week later. She had reportedly been stabbed and her body mutilated by a yet-to-be-identified assailant.

The deceased was laid to rest on Saunday, April 23, in her hometown, Igah Ocheba in Olamaboro Local Government Area of Kogi State.

Abdullahi wrote,

“The world is filled with thorns of evil disguised as pebbles of petals. Nowhere is safe as no one is also safe- predators live among and with us. The watchword is to be watchful,” Haruna wrote.

This beautiful, harmless and innocent lady Mirabel Ladi Agada was just an ordinary lady who joined others to eke a living in Abuja. Her offence was to strive to live and survive just like any other person gifted with the liberty of the pursuit of happiness.

Sadly, she went out one day in the first week of April and never returned. After days of searching, her body was discovered abandoned somewhere in the city center of Abuja. She has been murdered by fellow humans who breathe the same air as her. She was left mutilated and her body dehumanized thus cutting the beautiful life of a promising young lady whose crime was to be born in a land infested with human maggots. As you read this, her young body had been laid in the red soil of Igah in Olamaboro Kogi state. Never again shall we see innocent Mirabel , perhaps on the day of reckoning.

A Kenyan Instagram influencer, identified as Brenda Akinyi Ochola, better known as Brendalicious, has reportedly died while allegedly trafficking drugs.

According to reports from the country’s media, Brendalicious died in Malaysia when the cocaine she was carrying burst in her stomach.

Upon arriving at the airport in Malaysia, she allegedly began behaving strangely, which drew the attention of security guards.

She reportedly fell to the ground and started foaming from the mouth, and efforts to save her were unsuccessful.

The young man whose girlfriend caught the attention of popular Nigerian singer, Iyanya, at Davido’s Timeless concert, has spoken out.

Recall that Iyanya, who was one of the guest artists at the concert that was held in Lagos on Sunday, April 23, had taken to Twitter to recount how the lady caught his eye in the crowd and asked her to contact him.

“One fineeee girl been Dey eye me yesterday @davido Timeless Concert. I had to focus on the job, so this morning I come remember if you are that fine girl report yourself now under this tweet, you wanted to confuse me ha,” he wrote on Twitter.

In a subsequent tweet, the “Ur Waist” crooner revealed that he had found the lady and expressed excitement at finding her. He shared a photo of the lady and wrote, “Update: e be like we don see the girl ”.

However, it appears that the lady’s boyfriend did not appreciate the singer’s gesture towards his woman, and he has taken to Twitter to call him out.

He asked Iyanya to take down his tweets about his girlfriend, threatening to take action if they were not removed.

A Nigerian woman has reunited with her 34-year-old Italian daughter whom she last saw when she was only 8 years old.

The emotional reunion was captured in a video that has since gone viral on social media.

The video shows the mother and daughter hugging each other tightly and crying tears of joy as they reunited in Nigeria. The daughter, whose name is given as Domenica, had flown in from Italy to meet her long-lost mother after over two decades of separation.

At first, Domenica’s mother was uncertain if she was her child, until she demanded to look at her back, as she remembered that her long-lost daughter had sustained an injury on her back when she was a little girl. She became emotional when she found the mark on the lady’s back, confirming that she was indeed her daughter.

“Jesus!!!”, the mother shouted as she wept and hugged her child.

When asked what happened that led to their separation, the mother said that in 1984, her own mother who lived in Italy asked her to send her baby to live with her in Italy because she was quite lonely in the European country. She said her mother sent her some documents to help facilitate her daughter, Domenica Kofoworola’s relocation. She said her mother later contacted her that she was ill and that Domenica had been taken away from her.

She said her mother told her that she would only be able to see Domenica after she had turned 18. The mother said she even visited the Italian embassy to see if they could help locate her daughter in Italy, but it was an exercise in futility. She mentioned that she even attempted to travel to Italy but was denied a visa.

Towards the end of the video, Domenica met her other siblings who hugged her and gave her a warm welcome.

A Kim Kardashian lookalike and adult model, Christina Ashten Gourkani, better known in erotic streaming media as Ashten G, has passed away following a plastic surgery procedure.

The 30-year-old model died of a massive heart attack in the hospital last Thursday, April 20, while recovering from the surgical procedure.

Ashten frequently shared her photos on her official Instagram page with over six hundred thousand followers.

She will be laid to rest next week, according to her family who have started a GoFundMe page to raise money for her funeral.

“It is with deep sorrow and an [immensely] heavy broken heart that we have to share the most shattering, unfortunate and unexpected passing of our beautiful beloved daughter and sister Christina Ashten Gourkani,” her family wrote on the GoFundMe page.

“We got a phone call from another family member who was frantically screaming and crying that Gourkani was dying a call that instantly shattered our world and will forever haunt our family for the rest of our lives.”

“Her sudden and tragic passing is currently being investigated as a homicide related to medical procedure that took a turn for the worse,” the family claimed.

Fans and colleagues of the deceased have taken to social media to mourn her demise.

A Nigerian man identified as Chuks Dave has taken to social media to recount a terrifying tale of a group of friends who vanished after honoring an invitation and attending a burial ceremony.

Sharing on the microblogging platform, Twitter, Chuks stated that a guy called at least five people to travel with him to Imo state to bury his recently deceased father.

However three weeks after their departure, none of them have shown up, including the alleged grieving friend.
