Nigerian actress and reality TV star, Erica Nlewedim has taken to social media to express her grief over the loss of all of her expensive jewelry in South Africa.

The former Big Brother Naija housemate recently jetted out to the country to commence shooting for a movie as well as have a meet and greet with fans.

Erica cried out that she lost all her jewelry, except a Cartier bracelet she was wearing at the airport.

She did not, however, elaborate on whether the things were stolen or just lost.

She tweeted;

“All my jewelry is gone 😭😭😭 apart from my Cartier bracelet I was wearing at the airport.”

Laycon announced on his social media platforms on Saturday, April 22, that he has obtained a Master’s degree from a UK university.

Leke Adeboye, son of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has revealed that he made his first million-selling rubber wristbands.

Pastor Leke shared this while discussing secrets to financial freedom with ”School Of Wealth” stating that everyone wants to hit it big but forget the essence of little profit.

He claimed that selling promotional gift items like rubber to a big Christian event with a small profit of 50 or 100 naira would eventually add up to something big and that was how he made his first million.

In other news, Muyiwa Awoniyi, the manager of Grammy award winner, Temilade Openiyi, known professionally as Tems, revealed that she led praise and worship in her prison cell in Uganda.

It would be recalled that the ‘Essence’ crooner and her colleague, Omah Lay, were arrested and remanded in prison in Uganda in 2020 for violating the country’s COVID-19 safety measures.

The duo, who were in the East-African country for a concert, were charged in court on charges of negligently doing acts likely to spread an infectious disease. The charges were later dropped and they were released from prison.

Speaking about the arrest over three years later, Muyiwa recalled being extremely concerned for Tem’s safety because he was not with her in prison. However, he later learned that she led the entire prison in praise and worship.

Big Brother Naija star and disc jockey, Tolani Baj has stated that she cannot have a child with a male celebrity.

Taking to her Twitter page, she noted that she was a jealous lover and could not deal with the attention the entertainer would receive from other women.

According to her, having a baby for a celebrity was very draining and she does not want to have the experience.

Tolanibaj asserted that it was better for both parties to save themselves the stress of being in a toxic co-parenting arrangement or relationship.

She tweeted;

“Having a baby with an entertainer must be constantly draining. I recognize that I’m a jealous lover so let’s save ourselves from future toxicity.”

A while back, Tolani Baj addressed men who complain when a woman asks them for money.

Nigerian singer and songwriter, Ahmed Ololade, also known as Asake has outlined the significance of the Yoruba language in his music.

He claimed that he enjoys singing in Yoruba since it is widely spoken and understood and because it is essential to him.

Asake stated during a NewsLive Prime interview that he views music as a feeling and that sometimes one does not need to comprehend it to enjoy its use on a smartphone.

Pastor Julie, who offered marital advice to married couples based on her own personal experience of being married for 39 years in a trending video, said she had to play the fool in her marriage for it to work.

She explained that she had to learn to let go of her pride and ego and instead focus on building a strong and healthy relationship with her husband.

She advised that to sustain a marriage, one has to play the fool, even when you know you’re right.

“I have come to realize in these 39 years of being with my husband…I realized I had to play the fool for my marriage to work, playing the fool even when I know I am right.

Controversial media personality, Blessing CEO and her rumored lover, Ikechukwu Ogbonna a.k.a IVD, have unfollowed each other on Instagram.

Recall that the duo were rumored to be in a romantic relationship in January 2023 few months after IVD lost his wife, Bimbo.

Blessing had sparked dating rumour with the businessman after she shared a photo of a man’s hand with her initials “BCEO” tattooed on it on New Year’s Day and said that’s her man.

The photo stirred curiosity among her followers, who did an investigative work, and discovered that IVD has a similar tattoo on his hand, causing many to conclude that IVD is Blessing’s partner.

Nigerian filmmaker and husband to popular Nollywood actress Chioma Chijioke, Kingsley Anosike, has been buried amid tears.

It will be recalled that Kingsley, who was only 36 years old, slumped and died during a football match in Kuwait on Saturday, February 18th 2023.

He relocated to Kuwait in November 2022, with plans to establish a studio in the Asian country before his sudden and unfortunate death.

The deceased was laid to rest amid tears and wailings at St. Francis Catholic Church Ivite Aguleri, Anambra East LGA on Wednesday, April 19th.

A video shared online shows the heartbreaking moment his bereaved wife wept profusely and showered encomium on him even in death during his funeral.

Chioma was heard saying in Igbo that Kingsley was a good husband who married her well. She repeatedly called him “odogwu” – meaning a strong man, filled with charisma.

Queen Naomi, the estranged wife of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, has spoken about the possibility of reconciliation with the Yoruba monarch.

In a recent interview with Punch, the mother of one, who recently turned 30, made it clear that she has no intention of returning to the palace to join the six other queens.

Lawyer allegedly kills husband after he discovered their 19-year-old domestic worker is her biological son

A 36-year-old lawyer, identified as Abasiesebanga Ikoiwak, has been arrested in connection with the death of her 41-year-old husband, Barrister Godwin Ikoiwak, in Akwa Ibom State.

She was recently arraigned in the Federal High Court in Uyo along with five other defendants for her husband’s untimely death.

The prosecution witness who testified before the court claimed that the late Barrister was unaware that the boy who had been living in his home for years was actually his wife’s son because she had claimed that the boy was her younger brother.

The deceased’s friend, Barrister Sunny Anyanwu, who also testified in court, said Ikoiwak passed away shortly after telling him over the phone that he was having issues with his wife over infidelity.

Anyanwu added that the deceased said he reported the case to his wife’s family who invited him to a meeting in their family compound in Nung Udoe Itak, Ikono LGA, but he did not return alive.

Anyanwu, who is the seventh prosecution witness in the case, also claimed that the deceased lawyer told him that his wife was having an affair with her former boss, a lawyer named Barrister C.I. Odoh.

Before his death, Ikoiwak allegedly told his friend that his wife worked as a housekeeper for a Catholic Priest, Rev. Father Maurice Mbeke, who impregnated her and they gave birth to a child who is now 19-year-old named after her maternal grandfather.

An audio evidence was played in court by the prosecution team, which was led by Barr. Joseph Umoren, the Director of Public Prosecutions for Akwa Ibom State.

Meanwhile, the case is still ongoing.

A Nigerian lady has ended her relationship with a man who sponsored her through university with the intention of marrying her.

In a video shared on social media, the lady, identified as Maryvin, made it clear that despite all the man had done for her, she was not interested in marrying him and he had no right to feel entitled to marriage just because he paid for her education.

Maryvin expressed her gratitude for the man’s generosity but emphasized that it would not influence her decision in his favor.

She went on to explain that she had been repeatedly ridiculed by his family, who saw her as nothing more than a financial burden.

She recalled how the man’s mother had plainly told him in her presence that he could not marry her when he introduced her as his fiancee.

Maryvin also revealed that the man’s mother had barred him from marrying her because they were not comfortable with the fact that she did not have parents.

“I know he paid and I appreciate, Im grateful for paying my school fees Darlington, but for me to marry you, I cannot marry you and no one should beg me to marry you because I went through hell because of your family”. She said in part.

Lecturer jailed for assaulting student who beat up his daughter over boyfriend in Nasarawa

A lecturer at the Federal University of Lafia (FULAFIA), Fred Ayokhai, has been convicted by a High Court sitting in Nasarawa State for conspiring with his children to assault a female student, Blessing Mathias.

It would be recalled that the lecturer made headlines in October 2022 for teaming up with his children to attack Blessing after she beat up his daughter over a man.

A video which made rounds online at the time shows the lecturer and his kids physically assaulting and stripping the 20-year-old victim naked. ICYMI

Following the incident, the police swung into action and arrested the suspects and arraigned them in court.

The lecturer was charged with criminal conspiracy, housebreaking, kidnapping, voluntarily causing great bodily injury without provocation, and assault while his children – Emmanuella, Bob-Praise, and Saint-Dan – were joined in the case as the 2nd, 3rd and 4th defendants.

They all pleaded not guilty to the charges during the prosecution; nevertheless, their attorney, AU Idris, went to the court and proposed a plea deal.

The presiding judge, Solomon Ayenajeh, in his ruling, found the lecturer guilty and sentenced him to six months in prison for criminal conspiracy and an additional six months for assault on Thursday, April 20.

He ruled that the charges are to run concurrently and that the six months Ayokhai has spent in the Nigeria Correctional Service’s (NCoS) will be counted.

Delivering the judgement of the children, the judge said they will spend six months on probation because of their ages. He declared that as part of their punishment, they would clean the premises of the Nasarawa State High Court.

The judge also ordered that the third defendant, Bob-Praise, shave his dreadlocks.

According to Rotimi, he and Tiwa Savage have kept this information hidden for a long time, adding that he is happy to finally share “the secret” with his fans and followers.

“We’ve been holding this secret for so long!!! So happy to share the vibes with everyone!” he captioned the video.

Tiwa Savage, who was also in the video, confirmed that she and Rotimi are really blood relations.

“Listen, I got a surprise, man. Y’all will never guess who my actual blood cousin is. You’ve got to paint this beautiful queen right now,” Rotimi said, pointing to Tiwa.

Big Brother Naija season 5 winner, Olamilekan Agbeleshe, popularly known as Laycon, has achieved yet another feat.

Laycon announced on his social media platforms on Saturday, April 22, that he has obtained a Master’s degree from a UK university.

The reality TV star, who is also a talented rapper and singer, revealed while sharing photos of himself to celebrate his achievement that he graduated with an MSc in International Relations from the University of Portsmouth, United Kingdom.

Using his success as a reference point, Laycon advised his fans to pursue their dreams and never give up. He added that he achieved his degree in 18 months and is already looking forward to his next project.

“Follow your heart, follow your dreams. MA in the bag 💼 For the past 18 months, I’ve been chasing one of my dreams and I’m happy to say I have successfully completed my MA degree in International Relations from the University of Portsmouth. A young Nigerian lady has melted hearts on social media after she surprised her female friend with an iPhone 11.

A video of the heartwarming moment the lady presented the phone to her friend is currently making rounds on social media and has sparked sweet reactions from netizens.

In the video, the generous friend was seen going to a phone store to buy the phone. She said she was conflicted between getting an iPhone XS Max or an iPhone 11, and eventually chose the latter, which she paid N220,000 for.

After purchasing the phone, she went to her friend’s house to gift her the phone and her reaction was absolutely priceless. Her friend was overwhelmed with emotions and started leaping for joy because of the gift.

A Pastor in Ekiti State, Joshua Ajagunigbala’s marriage to Rita Ajagunigbala, has been dissolved in Ekiti State due to claims that his wife had an affair with a herbalist.

He narrated that the Herbalist died on top of the respondent while having sexual intercourse in a hotel at Ikere-Ekiti on 2nd January 2023, which led to a commotion and made thugs to destroy his house and his church at Ikere.

He lamented that her action led to his suspension by his Church authority and because of this, he is no longer interested in the union and pleaded with the Court to dissolve the union and give him custody of his children.

Mrs. Ajagunigbala, in response, admitted having sexual relationship with the late herbalist. She stated that her relationship with the Herbalist was because of lack of care from the petitioner. She said that she had been the one responsible for the feeding of the children and their school fees. She claimed that she had incurred so much debt, which the late Ejiogbe helped her to offset.

Pastor Ajagunigbala, the petitioner, was directed by the Court to assume complete responsibility for the well-being and schooling of the two youngest children resulting from the union, as they are still minors.

The President of the Court, Mr. Joseph Oyedele, while declaring judgment on the matter, held that there was no legal customary marriage between the two of them, adding that they are free to go their separate ways.

“Having gone through all the oral evidence presented before this Court, it was discovered that there was no legal customary marriage between parties herein and there is no marriage available between parties to dissolve.

The Court hereby order that the parties are now free to go on their own without disturbing the peace of each other.

On the issue of the custody of the children, the Court can only order on the last two children of the marriage because they are yet to reach the age of majority. The first two children are free to decide under whose care they can live between the two parties because they are no longer minors.”

However, the Court order that the last two children of the association (Olarewaju and Victoria Ajagunigbala) are to be with the petitioner and the petitioner is to be responsible for their welfare and education,”

Nigerian actress and filmmaker, Mary Remmy Njoku has taken to her social media page to call out skin care product sellers who advertise their products with filters.

According to Mary, vendors who carried out such acts were frauds and they did so to deceive their clients.

She added that if sellers of such products are sure of it’s effect, they should show their real faces and not hide behind filters.

American rapper Johnathan Jamall Porter, professionally known as Blueface, has asserted that all men cheat.

The rapper made this assertion on Wednesday, April during an interview on Rap TV, where he spoke about his career, relationships, and discussed infidelity in relationships.

According to him, every man has at one point or another cheated on his significant other.

“Let me break it down for you, every man you’ve ever been with has cheated on you. Whether they are going to tell you, whether you find out after, before, whenever. They have stepped out of the relationship.

Even the guy you are with now. He’s cheating on you. I guarantee it. It’s just a manly thing. Men are hunters. We go hunt. We’re not going to tell you everything we’ve knocked down, everything we’ve hunted. Be realistic.” He said.

He added that a man can cheat and still be loyal to his woman as long as he is providing.

His words,

“I don’t think cheating and loyalty are in the same bracket. It’s a moment of vulnerability. I think loyalty is more of, ‘I’m always going to make sure you’re straight, mentally, financially. I could be with a woman right now. If I make sure you’re straight, I consider that loyalty.”

After his interview went viral, he took to Twitter to advise women on how to make their cheating partners change. He noted that although all men cheat, it’s a woman’s responsibility to make her partner realize that it’s not worth it.

“The answer is not to cheat back, ladies. The answer is to be as solid as possible to THE man that’s WORTH compromising for which will win him over emotionally. You can get a man to stop cheating by making him FEEL/realize it’s not worth it, but once upon a time he has cheated 100%.” He wrote in part.
