A Nigerian lady has revealed that a male admirer she met on social media sent her N1.5 million to prepare for a date with him.

She made this revelation on TikTok in response to a troll who said no man would marry her after she shared the bride price list and requirements a man must fulfil before he can marry an Igbo woman.

According to the troll, she will remain single forever if her family expects a man to provide everything on the bride price list.

In response, the lady refuted the troll’s claim with her recent experience with a man she met online.

She said the man was perfectly fine with the bride price and even sent her N1.5 million to prepare for a romantic date with him.

She shared a screenshot of the credit alert and their chat as proof. She also posted a video montage of herself getting her hair and makeup done before heading out for the date.

“If this didn’t happen to me, I’ll doubt the possibility.
Men det this world sha,” she wrote in the caption.

In other news, a Nigerian man, identified as Chisom, has recounted how his girlfriend supported him financially when he lost his job.

According to Chisom, the company he worked for at the time folded up, so he was out of a job for months.

However, throughout that period, Chisom’s girlfriend, who is now his wife, sent him a monthly allowance to help him with his expenses until he got another job.

He further revealed that when he received the first payment from her, he was overwhelmed with emotion and broke down in tears.

A US-based Nigerian woman has lamented bitterly after seeing the two-storey building her brother built for her while she was away.

The woman apparently returned to Nigeria recently to inspect the house she had been sending money to her brother to build for her but was surprised to see an uncompleted building built on a waterlogged land.

In a video circulating on social media, the woman, who was heartbroken by the sight, complained bitterly about being betrayed by her brother whom she identified as Obinna.

She said she had been working hard and saving money since she moved to America 40 years ago, and she had invested heavily on the property, which she had trusted her brother to build for her, only to have her hopes dashed when she returned to Nigeria.

According to her, whenever she asked her parents about the status of the building project, they constantly told her that her brother was working on it but they never went to inspect the building.

Sadly, he clearly wasn’t building the house. The woman has threatened to sue her brother and make sure he is prosecuted to the full extent of the law for betraying her.

A young Nigerian woman has narrated how her newly acquired table gas burner exploded barely 72 hours after she bought it.

In a video shared on TikTok, the woman explained that she had just finished cooking in the kitchen with her son when she heard a loud bang less than 5 minutes after stepping out.

She said she went to the kitchen to see what had happened and was surprised to see that the burner had exploded, shattering the glass top.

According to her, she was shocked and thankful at the same time because she couldn’t imagine what would have happened if she was still in the kitchen with her son when it exploded.

She further revealed that she returned the gas burner to the seller because it ‘blew up’ less than a week after she bought it and received a replacement.

A young Nigerian lady is currently in a celebratory mood as she finally achieved her lifelong dream of traveling abroad for her university education.

The lady, who worked as a POS operator before she traveled, took to her TikTok page to share her inspiring story.

According to her, after secondary school, while her friends were gaining admission into several universities in Nigeria, she worked in her parent’s POS shop.

She claimed that her former classmates, who were already in university, would usually look down on her and constantly subject her to ridicule whenever they came around.

However, this didn’t deter her, and now she has gained admission and traveled abroad for her studies.

“My classmates in Nigeria were all securing admissions into different universities, but I hadn’t even written the JAMB yet. I was managing my parents’ POS business and constantly subjected to ridicule whenever my classmates came to the shop.

It hurt me deeply, and I often cried and begged my mother to let me go to school in nigeria that I am tired of hoping I’ll school abroad. Her response was always reassuring, telling me to trust in God’s plan and be patient.

“Despite the uncertainties, I held onto my faith and decided not to write the JAMB exam. I believed that God would take perfect control.” She wrote.
