A young Nigerian lady has warmed the hearts of many after she demolished her mother’s old house and built a beautiful new house for her.

The lady with Twitter handle @chizzy_bb took to the microblogging platform to show off the newly-built bungalow.

She revealed that she tore down her mother’s old and dilapidated building before erecting the new house.

Chizzy shared photos of the old house while it was being demolished, and another photo of the new bungalow.

Controversial Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu has warned his colleague, Regina Daniels, to stop showing off her billionaire husband Ned Nwoko’s generous gifts on social media.

Uche advised the mother of two to take lessons from singer Davido’s wife, Chioma Adeleke, who lives a quiet lifestyle and doesn’t show off her husband’s largesse online.

He pointed out that Ned Nwoko is a politician currently campaigning for a political position so it is not ideal for her to be exposing the expensive gifts she receives from him online.

He said people may also be enraged by the frequent gifts, especially if Ned has not made a positive contribution to their community.

He also advised Regina Daniels to apply “spiritual maturity” to her decisions, and be like Chioma Adeleke who keeps a low profile.

Uche’s advise comes weeks after the 22-year-old actress showed off the credit alerts of N10m and $100,000 she received from her husband.

The beautiful lady, who appears to be a staunch fan of the “Ojuelegba” crooner, said she was recently at a concert where he performed, and she tried very hard to get his attention.

A young man has spoken out after his mother called him out for sending her packing to make room for his partner and their unborn child.

The mother had taken to TikTok to criticize her son for throwing her out of his house because he is expecting a child with his partner.

She shared a video of her son packing her belongings from a wardrobe, and lambasted him for sending his own mother packing.

Nollywood actress and singer, Angela Okorie has reacted to a viral clip showing thousands of Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) discarded in Anambra state.

With only a few days until the 2023 general election, a hunter allegedly found many PVCs deep in the forest while on a hunting expedition.

This raised eyebrows in the community, and locals conducted an investigation and discovered that the PVCs belonged to active voters who had recently registered.

Efforts are being made to sort the cards and deliver them to their respective polling units so that their owners can pick them up before the election.

Reacting to the incident, Angela Okorie lamented bitterly over the wickedness of the person who disposed the PVCs, instead of distributing them to their owners.

She shared the video on her Instagram page, and wrote,

Missing 300 level Benue varsity student reportedly found dead

A 300-level student of the Benue State University, Erekaa Naomi Dooshima, has reportedly been found dead.

The Mass Communication student, also known as Affection, was reported missing three days ago, and all efforts to locate her were futile.

A Benue activist, Ukan Kurugh, who relayed the news on Faccebook, disclosed that a phone, ID card, and blood-stained clothes said to belong to the missing student were found around Rahama clinic opposite Medical school, Makurdi, on Tuesday, February 21.

In a new development shared today, February 22, Mr. Kurugh said Erekaa has been found dead and her corpse is currently being exhumed by men of the Benue State Police Command.

The circumstances surrounding her tragic death are still sketchy as at the time of filing this report.

In other news, a bus conveying students of Madonna University, Rivers State, was involved in a horrific accident and went up in flames on Saturday.

At least 8 students of the varsity were burnt to the death in the terrible accident which occurred at TTC/Special Science School junction along the trans-Saharan road in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State.

The bus was reportedly traveling from Port Harcourt to Taraba State when it crashed on Saturday, February 18.

It was gathered that the students were returning to their respective homes ahead of the upcoming general elections on Saturday, February 25.

I still have deep feelings for my ex who maltreated me so bad, abused me and showed me how bad love could be. After everything he has put me through I still love and have serious feelings for him. My ex got me pregnant a few times and whenever I inform him, he would ignore me after asking me to get rid of it. I lost my self esteem, he never cared about my feelings then. My well-being meant nothing to him. He cheated on me countless times and made me look like a fool. I saw hell while we were together.
The issue is after all he has done my heart still beats for him, a lot more than for the man I married. Recently my ex reached out and told me he had intentions of marrying me. He also said getting married to my husband in such short time meant I was cheating, I had never cheated on him for good 4years we were together I met my husband when he had started ignoring me because I told him I was pregnant.
He abandoned me for months then came back when I had already met my husband and we have fixed date for our wedding .I’m just so shattered I don’t know how to control my feelings over my ex I even messaged him yesterday but seriously I don’t like what’s going on now I just need help and advice. My ex is handsome, fair, tall and rich, my husband is handsome, dark, richer than my ex but he’s not very tall. A Nigerian woman who got a brand new iPhone from her husband as a Valentine’s Day gift has gone to church to testify.

The woman in a video making the rounds online said she has never owned a brand new phone and was overjoyed when her husband surprised her with one.

She stated that, up until now, she had always used old phones that had been passed down to her.

She expressed her gratitude to God for blessing her with a supportive husband and thanked her husband for changing her status from an old iPhone 7 user to a proud owner of a brand new iPhone 12.

Her words,

“I want to thank God for giving me a supportive husband. All my phones I’ve been using, they’ve always been hand me downs from my kids. When my kids upgrade their phone, they give the old one to me.

“So that’s what I use, I don’t have like a new phone. On Valentine’s morning, there was a gift for me near my laptop so I opened it from my husband and it was a brand new iPhone 12. I went from an iPhone 7 straight to an iPhone 12. This is the first time I’ve got a brand new phone. So I just thank my husband for that.”

Nigerian businessman and philanthropist, Olakunle Churchill, has refuted claims that his wife, Rosy Meurer, and his ex-wife, Tonto Dikeh, were friends before he married her.

It was previously alleged that Churchill was having an affair with Rosy, his secretary at the time and Tonto’s friend, while still married to her.

Two years after his marriage to Tonto crashed, Churchill got married to Rosy Meurer in 2019, and this seemingly solidified claims that they have been an item all along.

Following news of their marriage, they were dragged to filth on social media because of earlier claims that she and his ex-wife were close friends.

Churchill and Tonto have also been at loggerheads since then, and grab every opportunity to tear eachother apart and air their dirty linen online.

In light of their recent feud, a troll slammed Churchill for allegedly cheating on Tonto with her alleged friend, Rosy Meurer.

“Your son will grow to learn you were sleeping with your best friends husband and later got married to him …, Ashawo work na your mate?” the troll wrote.

Reacting to the troll’s accusation, Churchill stated that Tonto and Rosy were never friends, as they never even met.

He also dared anyone with proof of their friendship to come forward, and he would reward them with N10 million.

Churchill wrote, “Them don brain wash una and I don’t blame you at all, but if truly they were best friends or normal friends pis can you get me a pic to show ? Because the first and last I checked they never even met before talkless of having each others numbers. The age difference is not close. If you can get me a picture or proof then I will give 10 million naira if this information is true.”

Nollywood actress, Uche Ogbodo, recently exchanged words with trolls, who chastised her for her remark on Ned Nwoko’s gift of N20 million to colleague, Halima Abubakar.

It all started after ailing actress Halima Ababakar took to social media to thank her colleague Regina Daniels and her billionaire husband, Ned Nwoko, for their financial support.

She revealed on her Instagram page that the power couple gave her over N20 million to clear her bills while she was battling a mysterious illness. ICYMI.

Fans and friends of actress Halima, including her colleague Uche Ogbodo, flocked to the comment section of Halima’s post to commend Regina Daniels and her husband, Ned Nwoko, for their kind gesture.

“God bless them”, Uche Ogbodo wrote.

Strangely, some social media users found Uche’s innocent remark offensive, and they dragged her to shreds for it.

An Instagram user, @Wendymax, accused Uche Ogbodo of being two-faced and always being in everybody’s comments.

“pls madam rest you are everywhere. What is ur problem 2face”, she wrote.

Another user, One Omooluwa commented, “abi u, get a bill to pay too. Ned won’t listen”.

Uche Ogbodo, on her part, didn’t take the comments lightly as she fired back at every one of the trolls.

LASU staff slumps and dies while queuing to withdraw N5,000 in bank amid cash scarcity

A staff of the Lagos State University (LASU), identified as Mr Ademola Adesola, slumped and died while queuing to withdraw N5,000 new notes in a bank.

The tragic incident took place in a bank within the school premises on Tuesday, February 21, 2023.

Confirming the incident to the Nigerian Tribune, the Head of the Publicity and Public Relations Unit of the university, Mr Jeariogbe Olaniyi, said Mr Ademola drove himself to school that morning.

He said the Grade Level 13 officer left his office for the bank around 11.30am to withdraw money from his account. Sadly, he collapsed while standing in the queue and died in the process.

He said the deceased only spent about 30 minutes in the queue when he suddenly slumped and could not be resuscitated.

Mr Olaniyi said the deceased was rushed to the school clinic for medical attention but all efforts to revive him was unsuccessful.

Speaking on the career of the deceased, he said Mr Adesola started working in the University as a typist in 1986 and rose to the Chief Executive Officer (Account) on Grade Level 13.

In other news, a scammer identified as Omoghan Destiny Igbinosa has been sentenced to two years in prison for impersonating popular Nollywood actress Ninalowo Bolanle.
