Pastor Faith Oyedepo, the wife of popular Nigerian clergyman, Bishop David Oyedepo, is currently trending on Twitter after she shared what her husband did when she had a miscarriage scare.
The clergywoman revealed on Twitter that when she was pregnant with their first son, she was afraid that had suffered a miscarriage because she was bleeding.
When her husband returned home that fateful day, she told him about the incident, to which he immediately rebuked her and asked her to serve his meal.
“I remember when I was pregnant with our first son, one day I saw blood flowing from me and when my husband returned home, I told him that I had a miscarriage. Boldly, and without any hesitation, he said, “You can’t have a miscarriage!”, and then asked to be served his meal.”
The tweet, however, got on the wrong side of some people, who felt the clergyman should have been more empathetic towards his wife, instead of requesting for food.
Following the backlash, she shared a follow-up tweet explaining the lesson from the incident.
“That statement activated the spirit of faith and the pregnancy was sustained. You need to accelerate your operation of the spirit of faith daily, and then you will find the miraculous a daily occurrence for you,” she added.
Nigerian firefighter, Dooshima Dennis, has appealed to her admirers to stop calling the fire service emergency room to request for her phone number.
This comes after she became the toast of Nigerian Twitter after she posted photos of herself with a fire extinguisher and educated car owners on the importance of owning one on Wednesday, March 22,

A video of the moment a transgender mass killer stormed a school and shot six people dead, including three 9-year-olds, has been released by Nashville Police.
Audrey Elizabeth Hale, a biological woman who identified as a male named Aiden, was shot dead after being confronted by police at the private Christian school.
The 28-year-old resident of Nashville, Tennessee, was armed with two assault-type weapons and a handgun.
Hale had a detailed map of the Christian school, and gained entry into the building by shooting through its doors before killing their victims.
The six victims of the horror attack have been identified as Evelyn Dieckhaus, Hallie Scruggs, and William Kinney, all aged nine, 61-year-olds Cynthia Peak and Mike Hill, and 60-year-old Katherine Koonce, the school’s headteacher.
The police started receiving reports of a shooting at At 10.13am (4.13pm Nigerian time) on Monday March 27, and as they started clearing the ground floor of the building, they heard a gunshot sound from the second floor.
Two officers from a five-person team opened fire in retaliation and fatally killed the suspect at 10.27am (4.27pm).
Meanwhile, the motive behind Hale’s gun violence has not been established as at the time of the filing this report.

Speaking in an interview with media personality Dadaboy, Nancy Isime noted that while many people have the misconception that actors and actresses enjoy sensual scenes, they treat them as mere scripts.
She explained that even though it looks good on screen, she never actually enjoys it on set.
“Well, it’s a script, and Yes, I do kiss in movies. But Why will I enjoy it? 5,000 people around you. Enjoy what? I never enjoy doing nothing. There’s cameras around, it’s a scene.
I prefer to actually have kissing scenes with seasoned actors who understand the professionalism of a kissing scene or a sex scene. ‘Sex’ scene of course because everybody is all dressed up but there is movement.

Big Brother Naija season 7 star, Doyin has slammed reality TV star Whitemoney, over his recent comment about her on media personality Nedu’s podcast.

Seyi Law, who on Monday, March 27, celebrated his 12th wedding anniversary with his wife, Stacy, had taken to his Twitter handle to take a swipe at an unidentified man.
He claimed the man is alleging that Nigeria’s president-elect Tinubu is trying to steal his way to power, while he (the man) claimed his wife’s achievement in the real estate business as his own.

Comedian AY caused a buzz on the internet over the weekend after he opened up about his age-long feud with Basketmouth in an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo.
During the interview, AY narrated how Basketmouth betrayed him in 2006.
He recalled how Basketmouth used to connect him with events when he was starting out in the comedy industry, and how a particular event sparked the rift that has lingered on to this day.
“In 2006, (Basketmouth) usually will get gigs Iike weddings- multiple gigs on a Saturday, maybe 2/3 weddings. So what he used to do at that point in time was to attend one, then at a point, leave the venue and catch up in the other venue and then you will need someone else to stand in for you. That was the opportunity 1 got from him of which I am very appreciative of till date.

Innocent Ruth, a former Corps member who went viral after she shared photos of herself and a tall male colleague alleging he was her lover, has spoken on why she made the false claim
Ruth had taken to Facebook on Tuesday, March 14, to share photos of herself and Philip that were taken at the Bayelsa State orientation camp of the National Youth Service Corps and claimed they were lovers.
According to her, they met at the orientation camp and began dating afterward.
Ruth’s post garnered a lot of attention on social media due to the difference in their heights. Many gushed over the love story and congratulated Ruth on finding love.
In a quite shocking twist, Nigerians woke up on Sunday to the disclaimer of the young man in the photo, Philip Ayobami, denying being in a relationship with Ruth.
He tagged Ruth as a clout chaser and asked her to delete her previous post or face legal action.
Following the disclaimer, Ruth took to her Facebook page to admit that she lied and that there was no relationship between her and Philip.
Speaking on why she put up the post, she said she just wanted to see people’s reactions given the buzz their heights generated at the orientation camp.
She clarified that she didn’t make the post for clout or attention and was just having fun.
“Just because Akande Phillip Ayobami posted a disclaimer all of a sudden he is the good guy and I’m the villain. Its okay though, i understand the “social media” i did not expect less.Before I started all this I know what I was opting for, I can’t go into too much details, it would be cumbersome. Anyways, yes, Philip isn’t my boyfriend, but after I came up with this and posted it I told him everything n how we have to play along for some time to see/hear what people will say, he accepted it all,I asked him if he has a girlfriend he said “No, he never sounded like it will ever be an issue for him, I know he isn’t my boyfriend, was never my boyfriend either.

When Phillip saw it has gone viral he called n asked me to bring the post down,I told him the post will be brought down but not immediately because the aim at which the post was made has not been accomplished, The post was never made against his will we got talking about all this, eventhough he showed resentment, he wasnt even certain about not going on with or not, it was more like he liked the idea, but something was holding him back which he did not say at first. but later on he mentions something about that fact that i have a boyfriend already and he might not get any girl that would want to date him again, i told him my boyfriend doesnt even know about this, that my boyfriend really thinks i have left him and I’m engaged. He said some other things and we just laughed about it.

Nollywood actress, Victoria Inyama, has revealed how her colleague, Etinosa Idemudia, privately apologized to her following their online beef.
This comes after Etinosa waded into her recent spat with Big Brother Naija star Whitemoney, whom she chastised for advising men to focus on making money in order to get any woman they want.
Whitemoney had stated that no woman is out of a man’s league as long as he has money – a statement that didn’t sit well with a lot of women, including Victoria Inyama, who didn’t hesitate to call him out.
Amid their fight, Etinosa took to social media to accuse Victoria of speaking loosely on social media despite not having the boldness to confront people in public.
Speaking in a video, she said,

Popular Catholic priest, Ejike Mbaka, has warned that politics is dividing Nigeria.
Revd. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, the founder of the Adoration Ministry Enugu, Nigeria (AMEN), stated this during a sermon at the Adoration Ground on Sunday, March 26.
He described politicians as hawks and vultures and declared that they offended God during the just-concluded 2023 elections, but he had begged God for forgiveness on their behalf.
“I apologise on behalf of all the priests and pastors for our shortcomings, particularly during the election and in this political period. We have offended God in the process but let God forgive us because we got it wrong.
“The power of God is above any rigging, the country is rotten, let us use the times we are expensing for politicking to search for solutions to our problems. Politics is now dividing Nigerians and all these politicians I call them political hawks and vultures.” He said.

A 20-year-old married Nigerian lady has taken to social media to lament bitterly over her inability to have children.
In a quite touching video she shared online, the young lady is seen crying profusely as she narrates how doctors confirmed she’ll never be able to have children of her own due to her reckless past.
She claimed she’s had 35 abortions in the past, and this damaged her womb.
She says now that her inability to bear a child is causing a serious problem in her home and that her only option now is to end her marriage since she can’t give her husband kids.
”I have aborted 35 kids at the age of 20, now am married and the doctor said I can’t give birth again. Now I have to get a divorce,” she wrote while sharing the video.

Lawan Musa Majakura, a 33-year-old volunteer teacher who defeated the Speaker of the Yobe State House of Assembly, Ahmed Mirwa Lawan, in the recently concluded Governorship and State Assembly elections, has claimed that he was offered N100 million to step down.
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate polled 6,648 votes to defeat Ahmed Lawan of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who polled 6,466 votes.
The father of four made this startling revelation in a recent interview with Daily Trust, where he revealed that he received the offer from a government official and others who urged him to step down for the incumbent speaker, who had held the position for five terms.
According to him, he was initially offered N18 million, which he declined, and the offer was later increased to N100 million.

“To be honest with you, he did not contact me to step down for Lahim by himself, but a government official and some people I thought were his representatives came to me two times, telling me to step down. They promised to give me N18 Million, but I refused. Later on, they came back and offered me N100m, but still I refused.
“I told them that my village people bought the nomination forms for me because they believed I would do better, so I did not see any reason to step down for anybody. I told them to meet my people if they actually wanted me to step down for whoever sent them to me. I even told my people what we discussed but we all agreed that I would not step down, so we moved on with our campaign.”
Canadian singer, Grimes has revealed that she changed the name of her daughter, whom she shares with tech mogul Elon Musk, to a question.
The 35-year-old singer, whose real name is Claire Elise Boucher, made this revelation on Twitter on Friday, March 24.
She stated that the name of her 15-month-old daughter, Exa Dark Sideræl, has been shortened to ‘Y’ or ‘Why’ or ‘?’.
Grimes posted a photo of the child in a red onesie and green-dyed hair alongside a photo of herself in a similar appearance, while making the announcement.
She stated that while she and Musk do not typically share pictures of their daughter in order to protect her privacy, she posted this image because the child looked “fairly unrecognizable” in it.
