Nigerian comedienne and actress, Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori, popularly known as Kiekie, has sparked hilarious reactions online with her recent video.

Kiekie, who welcomed her first child in December last year, took to her Instagram page to express concern that she might be pregnant again.

She shared a funny video of herself praying fervently against taking in again just three months after the birth of her first child.

The influencer lit white candles inside her house and stood in the center with a bible to seriously pray against another pregnancy.

“Shonaola is just 3months… Baba GOD abeg oo! wetin dey move for my stomach”, she captioned it.

The video has elicited funny reactions from her followers and colleagues.

Wrongfully convicted man freed after 34 years in jail

A Florida man, Sidney Holmes, serving 400 years in prison for armed robbery, has been exonerated after more than 34 years in prison after the state of Florida reinvestigated the case and determined he did not commit the crime.

After spending over 34 years behind bars in South Florida, Sidney Holmes, 57, walked out of jail a free man on Monday, March 13.

According to ABC News, a thorough re-investigation of the 1988 armed robbery case that led to Holmes’ conviction “raised reasonable doubts about his guilt.

Broward County State Attorney, Harold F. Pryor, stated that Holmes was arrested in October 1988 for allegedly being the driver for two unidentified men who robbed a man and a woman outside a store at gunpoint. The car of the male victim was stolen by two unidentified men.

In April 1989, he was found guilty by a jury and sentenced to 400 years in prison. At the time, prosecutors asked the judge to sentence him to 825 years in prison.

The Conviction Review Unit determined that there is no evidence linking Holmes to the robbery other than an incorrect identification of him and the vehicle used in the robbery.

Speaking to reporters outside the courtroom following his release, Holmes said he bears no hate in his heart.

“I can’t have hate. I just have to keep on moving.” he said.

A Machokas court in Kenya has experienced drama and confusion after an eyewitness called to testify in a case suddenly lost her ability to speak human language.

When the lady arrived at the courthouse and was supposed to speak, she started bleating like a goat.

In video which has gone viral she can be seen stumbling outside and bleating hysterically as court personnel and other onlookers observe her in disbelief.

According to local media, they were unable to continue with the case because the key witness was unable to talk.

When word of the woman’s odd behavior spread, many people gathered in the area and flocked to Machakos court.

Nigerian content creator, Tosin Silverdam has given an update on his recent squabble with controversial crossdresser, Bobrisky.

Recall that the duo were embroiled in a messy fight after Tosin accused Bobrisky of using his house help to shoot adult content which he posts on Snapchat for a fee.

The allegation infuriated Bobrisky and he threatened to deal mercilessly with Tosin. He also got him arrested by the Police and posted a video of him being interrogated at a police station in Lagos.

In a new development, the controversial Instagram blogger has taken to his Instagram page to reveal that he has filed a lawsuit against Bobrisky over their recent rift.

He also revealed that Bob has been served with a lawsuit letter, and that they will both appear in court in May 2023.

A while back, the Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi, urged monarchs in Yoruba land to throw away the various idols in their palaces, saying God hates idolatry.

Speaking to Punch in a telephone interview with their correspondent in Osogbo, Oba Akanbi said he believed that the palaces of monarchs must be without idols, warning traditional rulers to shun idolatry, saying God would not help any town whose monarch worshipped other gods.

Governor Sanwo-Olu orders investigation into case of pupil allegedly sent home from school for having Peter Obi Sticker

Lagos State Governor, Bababjide Sanwo-Olu, has directed the State Ministry of Education to look into the case of a student who was allegedly sent home from school because her bag had a sticker of the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

According to reports, the event took place at Odomola Junior Secondary School in the Epe area of the state.

The student called Barinada Marvellous was told to leave school in an alleged exeat letter that was supposedly signed by the school’s principal after she was caught “campaigning for Peter Obi against the wish of Lagosians”.

According to the Commissioner for Education, Mrs. Folasade Adefisayo, the Lagos State Governor has authorized the removal of the principal, who will be asked to clarify the event.

“The Lagos State Government, the Ministry of Education, and all its agencies will never instruct any school principal, personnel or teacher to act in such a manner. The matter would be dealt with within the scope of our strict regulations as the reason for sending home the student is unacceptable – if true,” she said.

Adefisayo added that the other Odonguyan school principal who was seen on video promoting her political choice to the pupils and whose image was posted on social media had been dealt with appropriately.

“The Ministry promotes and runs a public school system devoid of politics and political insinuations.
A thorough investigation of the matter will be carried out and anyone found culpable will be subjected to disciplinary measures as laid down in the civil service rules,” Adefisayo stated.

Taking to the microblogging platform on Tuesday, March 14, Tolanibaj tweeted that she hates it when men dance in the club.

Lady blames Emefiele after okada rider she transferred money to asked her out

A Nigerian lady identified as Olasumbo has taken to social media to share the cunny method an okada rider employed to get her number.

Sharing on the microblogging platform, Twitter, Olasumbo claimed that she hired a bike to transport her to her destination but because of the shortage of naira in circulation, she decided to pay him with a transfer.

A Nigerian man has gone viral online after he stormed the Muritala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos Nigeria to travel to the United States (US) without a valid passport.

The security guards were taken aback by the man’s unusual request, and they recorded a video of him demanding to leave the country.

According to the man who claimed to be a Jehovah’s witness, he is confident that Jehovah God will help him travel to the US or Canada to see his brothers without travel documents.

When asked for his passport, the man said he tore it because he believes God will make a way for him to travel.

The five ladies became an internet sensation after a video of them dancing to Rema and Selena Gomez’s hit track ‘Calm Down’ went viral globally.

The video sparked a huge controversy because women are not allowed to dance in public in Iran, and risk being prosecuted.

The ladies reportedly filmed the dance video in support of an activist movement fighting for women’s rights in Iran.

Iranian activist, Shahrak Ekbatan who confirmed the arrest wrote,

“These girls were under arrest by the #IRGCterrorists for almost two days where they were emotionally abused and a forced confession was taken from them, apologizing for dancing in public.”

Reacting to the incident, Rema took to Twitter to send a special shout out the girls and other Iranian women fighting for a better world, stating that he is inspired by them.

A video of a Nigerian man expressing outrage after he was banned from a gym in the UK is currently circulating on social media.

The man was filmed confronting the gym manager after being informed that he had been permanently barred from using the facility.

He claimed that he had committed no offense worthy of a ban and accused the gym of depriving him of his basic human right.

“You cannot break me, you know why? I have God. I serve a living God. You are just denying me my human right here. You’re telling me you can’t serve me for no reason. I’ve done nothing wrong,” he is heard saying.

However, the woman filming the incident, mocked him and questioned why he was banned from the gym. She also hinted that the gym is not the first one to ban him.

“So they banned you at Pure Gym as well? That means there’s a reason”, she said with a strong Nigerian accent.

The man was enraged by her question and ordered her to leave him alone, as he continued complaining to the manager.

He explained that he pays 29 pounds monthly for the gym subscription so he doesn’t understand why he was told that he’s no longer allowed in the gym.

Again, the woman behind the camera asked why he was banned and this time, he flared up and told her to shut up.

Upon realizing that the conversation was getting no where, the frustrated man angrily picked his bags and left the facility.

Etiko, who’s apparently tired of the unsolicited advice, told her detractors to leave her alone while asking why they were so bothered by her breasts.

Denying claims that she had breast implants, Etiko reiterated that her breasts are natural.

“Destiny has not done anything to her chest, because my children are yet to taste it.” She said.

Two corps members who met and fell in love during the three-week NYSC orientation camp are currently trending on social media due to the difference in their heights.

The lady, identified as Innocent Ruth, had taken to Facebook on Tuesday, March 14, to share their love story.

Sharing photos of themselves in camp, Ruth disclosed she was the shortest corps member at the orientation camp while her beau was the tallest.

“We met in NYSC camp ohhhh,so this camp go favour me like this???? We became friends. And the rest is history. NYSC most Tallest and shortest corpers. Congratulations to us.” she captioned the photos.

Mr Macaroni slams ‘friend’, Lege Miami N50 million defamation lawsuit, he reacts (Video)

Popular Nollywood actor, Adams Kehinde, popularly known as Lege Miami, has reacted after skit maker and activist, Mr Macaroni, sued him over alleged defamation.

Mr. Macaroni, through his legal counsel, Falana and Falana’s Chambers, slammed Lege with a N50 million lawsuit for making inciting statements against him.

The thespian made this known in an Instagram post, where he shared the letter with the public.

In the letter, Mr Macaroni demanded that Lege retract his publication, tender an apology within three days, and pay N50 million as damages for the defamatory claims.

Reacting to the suit, in a video he shared on his Instagram page, Lege described Macaroni as his longtime friend and asserted that the skit maker did not mean to sue him.

Lege expressed his admiration for Mr. Falana and promised to pay him a visit.

He then advised the attorney not to worry about his disagreement with Mr. Macaroni, as they were friends and would resolve their issues amicably.

The lawsuit is coming after Lege Miami called out Mr. Macaroni for his message to Nigerian youths.

The skit maker had advised youths not to engage in tribal wars and let politicians use them as a tool of destruction. In a video shared on his Instagram page, the activist urged the youths to remain united and not trigger intertribal chaos over politicians “who will always be friends.”

However, reacting to the video, Lege took to his Instagram page to call out the skit maker.

He questioned why Mr. Macaroni was always involving himself in youth matters and accused him of being against Nigeria’s president-elect, Bola Tinubu.

“Debo what’s your problem, ki lo fe. Your Oga don do one, you wan start another thing. If our government no good, the Hausas wouldn’t support us. Some parts of Igbos supported us and this is Lagos State. You are giving them wrong information .

Mr devil what’s your information, can’t you leave the youths alone. Are you the only youth? You are even older than me so you aren’t a youth anymore. You are old, stop all the things you are doing “. Lege said in part.

Rather than engage in a war of words with Lege, Mr. Macaroni simply sued him for defamation through his lawyers.

Popular Nollywood actress, Biodun Okeowo has called out a man who made an offensive comment about her daughter, Ifeoluwa.

The thespian had taken to her Instagram page to celebrate her daughter in a grand way as she turned 19 on March 13.

She posted beautiful photos and a video of the moment she pulled a surprise birthday package on her daughter.

The man, however, grabbed the opportunity to give his unsolicited opinion about Ifeoluwa. He said he hopes she would not go under the knife to enlarge her backside.

“Hope she wouldn’t do yansh soon”, the man commented.

This infuriated the curvaceous thespian who lambasted him for focusing on her daughter’s derriere. She labelled him a potential pedophile, and went further to share photos of his wife and daughter culled from his Instagram page.

Biodun added that she is done enduring vile comments from trolls because majority of them are insensitive, hence her decision to use the man as a scape goat.

She wrote,

Nigerian indigenous singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has caused a buzz online after he unveiled his new bar outlet.

The Zazuh star, who is business-inclined and also owns a record label, is set to launch a new money-making venture and excitedly took to social media to show off the new outlet called “Odogwu Bar.”

He shared a video of the interior of the new bar equipped with a snooker table and indoor games, and thanked God for making it possible for him to launch the project.

He also encouraged his followers not to stop believing in their goals because miracles do happen.
