Popular Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo has cleared the air about some assumptions about her relationship with Lagos state’s illustrious agbero, Musiliu Akisanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo.

The pair were cordial friends who showed up for eachother whenever it was needed before politics drove a wedge into their friendship.

It all started when Iyabo Ojo declared MC Oluomo’s candidate, Bola Tinubu, unfit for presidency and drummed support for his opponent, Peter Obi.

This caused bad blood between the duo, and some of her colleagues called her out for betraying Oluomo, and accused her of being an ingrate.

Following Tinubu’s win, the NURTW chairman went live on his Instagram page to throw shades at those who turned their back on him when he needed them.

He stated that when such people need a favour from him, they are quick to call him and he would gladly help them.

Although he didn’t mention any name, Iyabo Ojo felt the shade was directed at her, and she held an Instagram live session to address the enmity between them.

She acknowledged that MC Oluomo has helped her in the past but noted that it is not a sufficient reason for her to support his candidate.

According to her, if she had known that he was trying to buy her loyalty with money, she would not have accepted his assistance.

She also set the record straight about her colleague, Lege Miami’s claim that MC Oluomo gave her N2 million.

She said he actually gifted her N3 million but clarified that it was for her mother’s burial. She also questioned how Lege knew about it if MC Oluomo didn’t broadcast it to the world.

Speaking on the nature of her relationship with him, Iyabo stated that she was never his girlfriend, neither did she accept his advances.

Her words,

“There is no fight, there is no war, it’s all peace and love.

It baffles me in why people feel they have the right to you because they have done one or two things for you before. So you must support them. I am not from that school of thought. There is something I detest and that is trying to take control of someone’s life because you have done them a favour.

I woke up this morning to a video that MC Oluomo did.

MC I really love you, you are a nice person, I see you as my friend. I was never your girlfriend, I never said yes it you. If I invite you to my party it’s because I regard you. I have always supported you because I see you as a good person.

But on this case, I chose not to because I don’t believe in your candidate. That shouldn’t make us fight.

The 3million you gave me was to support my mother’s burial”.

Famous Afrobeat singer, Joseph Akinwale Akinfenwa-Donus better known as Joeboy, welcomes his first child.

The 26-year-old performer took to his Instagram page to show off his baby alongside his girlfriend.

Joeboy, who hasn’t legally tied the knot yet, amazed a lot of people with the arrival of his baby.

He informed his 2.4 million fans of the birth of his first child by using a love emoji.

In other news, popular Nollywood actress, Seyi Edun, has called out a woman who mocked her for her inability to bear a child before the arrival of her twins.

Recall that Seyi Edun and her husband, Adeniyi Johnson, welcomed a set of twins on Monday night, February 27, after seven years of marriage.

The mother of two, on her part, while expressing gratitude to God, shared her chat with a woman who mocked her for being childless in October 2022.

Seyi revealed the woman left a vile comment on her page and proceeded to mock and curse her in her DM, not knowing she was already pregnant.

The woman, identified as Tiwatope Abiodun, had told Seyi Edun to cry out to her God to bless her with the fruit of the womb.

“@i_am_shai Aunty Again! Onijo isonu cry to your God becoz this year don end again”, she wrote.

Seyi Edun, who saw the comment, reached out to the lady in her DMS to caution her over her words. But the troll responded, ridiculing the Seyi, not minding the harm her remarks might cause.

She said Seyi was adding weight daily and was unperturbed about her barrenness.

“Olounje oshi. Mrs Agan Alainiron. Na 2day chop chicken and gizzard u sabi. Born pikin make we see. U even still dey curse? Instead make u go dey loose weight dey cry 2 ur creator. Oponu. Now replying to the troll after the arrival of her babies, the new mom wrote,

Bobrisky breaks silence after being called out for allegedly using his workers to shoot adult videos

Nigerian crossdresser, Okuneye Idris, popularly known as Bobrisky, has reacted after being accused of using his domestic workers for adult content.

An Instagram blogger, Tosin Silverdamn, accused the male Barbie of using his workers to shoot adult videos and subsequently posting the clip on his private Snapchat.

You will recall that Bobrisy came under fire a while back after he accidentally shared a video of a man and woman having intercourse on his Snapchat handle.

Although he deleted the video almost immediately, some observant social media users claimed the act was filmed in Bobrisky’s room.

In a recent Instagram post, blogger Tosin Silverdamn alleged that the crossdresser uses his domestic workers for adult content he posts on his private Snapchat for a fee.

“It seems Bobrisky is using his/her assistant abi househelp to do p#rn ooo. A s3x video was posted on Bobrisky’s snap, the room in the sex video is the same room in Bobrisky’s video. Bobrisky dey post sex videos on his/her private snap for fee.” He wrote.

Well, Bobrisky has now taken to social media to react to the allegation. Fuming over the allegation, he questioned why some people are jealous of him and keen on bringing him down by making false accusations against him.

Popular Nollywood actor and filmmaker, Yomi Fabiyi, has revisited his beef with colleague, Iyabo Ojo.

In a recent Instagram post, Yomi Fabiyi expressed regrets for responding to Iyabo Ojo during Baba Ijesha’s case.

President Muhammadu Buhari hosted President-elect, Bola Tinubu and Vice President-elect, Kashim Shettima at his rural residence in Daura, Katsina State on Wednesday evening.

The duo accompanied by members of the Nationalist Governors’ Forum (NGF) and Senator Abdullahi Adamu, the party’s national chairman, were in Daura to give President Buhari their certificates of return.

According to a statement issued by Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, following the party’s success in the presidential election last Saturday, Buhari’s visitors were paying him a “thank you call” to express their appreciation.

The certificates were presented to them by Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, Head of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) at the International Conference Centre (ICC), Abuja.

In related news, the Presidential Flagbearer of Labour Party, Peter Obi, has declared that his party won the election and he will explore all legal and peaceful means to prove it.

Obi stated this during his first media briefing since the conclusion of the presidential election held on Saturday, February 25.

According to him, he was robbed of his mandate which he can only retrieve in a court of law. He further encouraged Nigerians to come out en masse to vote in the gubernatorial election on Saturday, March 11.

His words,

“We’ll explore all legal options to retrieve our mandate. We won the election. I’m fully committed to a better future for the country and nothing can stop that.

Chidiebere Aneke, one-half of the Aneke identical twins, has said she doesn’t feel pressured to start a family despite being 36-year-old.

The Enugu-born actress stated this in a recent interview while speaking about her career, love life, and plans to have children.

“I have never been under pressure to have a child. I have also never heard that some women get pressurised to have children, unmarried. It depends on the people one associates with anyway,” she said.

When asked about her romantic life, she did not clearly reveal her relationship status but she did say her ideal partner is one who is trustworthy and honest.

Chidiebere Aneke said:

“The qualities I desire in my partner are honesty and a good conscience. If a person has a good conscience, they won’t hurt their partners. It is not accurate to say that it is usually difficult for actresses to find true love, because some men desire to be with them due to their fame and wealth. Anybody saying that is not being truthful. Love is a beautiful thing, and when a lady’s path crosses that of the right man for her, everything will fall into place. However, I have never lost a relationship because of the kind of job I do.”

“My experience over the years has been great and wonderful. It has not been easy and I am still learning. But, I thank God for everything.

There are some people that come online to say that producers asked them for sex before they could be given roles in their movies. However, no one has personally come to report such an incident to me.

What I will advise as the way forward is that people who say producers ask them for sex should stop going to the producers’ rooms, when they don’t have anything to do there. Whenever there are calls for auditions, these actresses should not go in through the back door.”

Former Big Brother Naija star, Cross Okonkwo, has tendered an apology to the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate Peter Obi and his supporters over his recent controversial comment.

Recall that Cross was lampooned by netizens, over claims that Peter Obi, is being selfish with his presidential ambition.

In a short video from a political gathering titled “Atiku Youth World Outreach” that emerged online, the reality TV personality made this statement.

Cross, a supporter of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, questioned in the video why Peter Obi is being selfish by running for office when he knows he won’t win in 2023.

The statement earned him several critics, while some described the statement as insensitive, others asked why he went for the BBNaija show knowing he will not emerge as a winner.

However, Cross during an Instagram live session, said the video where he made the statement about Peter Obi was not complete.

According to him, many people got misconceptions about him, notwithstanding, he is sorry about the statement.

In his word;

“Honestly guys I just want to say I am sorry, a lot of people got misconception about me. I am actually sorry for calling Peter Obi selfish. It was a long video and you know sometimes the media, they decided to cut half of it. Nigerian actress, Yetunde Bakare, has candidly expressed her views on faith and her personal experiences with both Islam and Christianity.

Taking to her Instagram story, she revealed that she felt the Muslim society was more unified than the Christian one. She also pointed out that Muslims and Christians may have different attitudes toward people who they disagree with or detest.

Former Minister of Aviation, Mr. Femi Fani-Kayode, has slammed the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi for claiming that he won the election.

Peter Obi broke his silence after losing the presidential bid to the APC candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu today and revealed he would take the necessary steps to prove he won.

Nollywood actress, Bimbo Akisanya recently went wild in excitement while celebrating Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s win in the 2023 presidential election.

Following the announcement of Tinubu as the President-Elect by the INEC chairman, Mahmood Yakubu, on Wednesday, March 1, Akisanya shared a video of herself dancing on the street in celebration of Tinubu’s victory.

At a point in the video, the actress, who evidently couldn’t contain her joy that her preferred candidate won, took off her shirt and pulled her trousers down a bit while energetically dancing to Portable’s hit track, “Zazuu Zeh.”

Apparently, Ayinke, who is a US-based nurse, took to her Instatory to share a celebratory video of her vibing to singer Ruger’s hit song ‘Asiwaju’ in a club.

12-year-old Chrisland student, Whitney Adeniran laid to rest amid tears (Video)

Whitney Adeniran, the 12-year-old Chrisland student who died during the school’s inter-house sports event on February 9, 2023, has finally been laid to rest.

This comes after an autopsy carried out on her body to ascertain the cause of her death revealed she was electrocuted, despite the school’s claim that she slumped and they tried everything humanly possible to save her.

A video from her funeral that was shared online showed the heartbreaking moment the deceased’s mother, Blessing, broke down upon seeing her daughter’s coffin.

In the video, the bereaved parents are seen consoling each other as they bid a final farewell to their daughter.

Just recently, Blessing Adeniran, the mother of Whitney Omodesola Adeniran, the 12-year-old Chrisland student who died recently during the school’s inter-house sports event, has cried out to be allowed to mourn her child in the way she pleases.

The bereaved mother made this plea amid tears while addressing those criticizing her for flooding her Instagram page with photos and videos of her late daughter.

Blessing had taken to her Instagram page to share some of her beautiful moments with her daughter.

However, reacting to the posts, some netizens advised Blessing to take time off social media to heal from the loss.

Addressing her critics and advisers in a video she shared online, Blessing begged that she be allowed to remember her daughter in her own way.

According to her, the only image of her daughter in her head at the moment is her lifeless body lying on the hospital bed.

Nollywood actress, Lizzy Gold, has taken to social media to call out her housekeeper for the alleged theft of her 1000 Euros.

Lizzy, in a video shared online, accused her housekeeper of stealing €1,000 from her bedroom and absconding while she was still at work.

She explained that the househelp recently told her that she wanted to leave for Aba after seven months of working for her.

Lizzy said she was quite surprised but agreed with her decision to leave, and promised to send her salary to her bank account.

She however received a rude shock when she returned home from a movie location and discovered that the housekeeper had left without informing her.

She also found out that the €1,000 she kept in her drawer had vanished. She said she believes that the housekeeper took it and fled, but she does not have concrete evidence to support this claim yet.

Lizzy said she has involved the police in the case, and hopes to get positive outcome.

Media personality, Nadia Nakai, has taken to social media to mourn the tragic demise of her lover, late South African rapper AKA.

The couple were hopelessly in love with each other and had been publicly dating for over a year when the hiphop star was shot and killed in Durban.

Recall that AKA was gunned down while he was standing outside a restaurant with his friends on the 10th of February.

His mortal remains was laid to rest at the Sandton Convention Center in Johannesburg on Friday, February 17.

Taking to social media to mourn his death, Nadia said the pain is just too much to bear and she doesn’t know how to deal with the heartbreak.

The 32-year-old ‘Young, Famous and African’ star posted an emotional video of some of the moments she shared with the late rapper and wrote,

A young man, identified as Themba Gwejela, has spilled some alleged secrets about a popular South African actress after she tried to publicly ridicule him.

The actress, identified as Rami Chuene, had taken to social media to shame him and warn women to stay away from him because he never follows through on his commitments.

According to her, Themba doesn’t keep his promises and doesn’t give his woman money.

Online investigators have dug out old tweets of Lagos gubernatorial candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, seemingly defending separatist group, IPOB.

The Labour Party candidate is set to contest against APC’s Babajide Sanwaolu and PDP’s Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran a.k.a Jandor in the upcoming election on March 11.

However, netizens have gone online to discredit him after old tweets and Facebook posts of him defending IPOB surfaced on the internet.

It was also discovered that in 2019, he contested for a senatorial seat in Lagos with the name “Chinedu Rhodes-Vivour”, which struck the nerves of some core-Yoruba folks.

They accused him of being an IPOB apologist who has an hidden agenda for wanting to become the governor of Lagos state.

However, some netizens have come out in their numbers to defend him, stating that he is half-Igbo because his mother is Igbo and he was only empathizing with her people.

Popular Nollywood actress, Seyi Edun, has called out a woman who mocked her for her inability to bear a child before the arrival of her twins.

Recall that Seyi Edun and her husband, Adeniyi Johnson, welcomed a set of twins on Monday night, February 27, after seven years of marriage.

Seyi’s husband, Adeniyi, shared the good news on his Instagram page, declaring that God is never late.

The mother of two, on her part, while expressing gratitude to God, shared her chat with a woman who mocked her for being childless in October 2022.

Seyi revealed the woman left a vile comment on her page and proceeded to mock and curse her in her DM, not knowing she was already pregnant.

The woman, identified as Tiwatope Abiodun, had told Seyi Edun to cry out to her God to bless her with the fruit of the womb.

A Nigerian girl has taken to the microblogging platform, Twitter, to call out her parents.

The girl with the Twitter handle @justsotired__ accused her dad of sexually molesting her for years and her mother of covering up for him.

She revealed that the alleged molestation began when she was a child and went on for years.

According to her, when she opened up about being molested by her dad at age 12, her life got worse, as he would hit her at the slightest opportunity he got.

Sharing a photo of herself and her dad, she wrote,

“A picture of me and my dad who molested me for years. Physically,verbally,mentally,financially abused me. I was 12 years here. The year I told everyone he was touching me. My life got worse cause my dad hit me for every slightest opportunity he got.

You can see how sad I was here. I hated taking pictures or being around him. No family or relative could relate to my pain. This man hurt and broke me in ways I didn’t ask for. This period he beat me so much almost every day. Was also the period he locked me in the cell.

A Nigerian man has publicly ridiculed a follower who begged for N1,000 after discovering that he is a supporter of the president-elect, Bola Tinubu.

The follower, who addressed the man as his “big bro,” had taken to the comment section of his post to request for financial assistance.

He said he was in a difficult financial situation and would be really grateful if he could give him N1,000.

Sharing his account details, the follower wrote, “Big bro Please can you assist me with 1k it would bring me joy things are very hard for me Account 9073***375 opay please 🙏🏻”

However, the man with handle @Dr_chazduke did a background check on the follower and discovered that he liked a post by Tinubu, suggesting that he is a fan.

This did not sit well with him and he blatantly refused to help the young man because they don’t share similar values.

The man, said to be a staunch supporter of Tinubu’s rival, Peter Obi, wrote,

“Hell No, I can’t assist someone that admires a character like Tinubu.
I’m not your bro, we don’t share anything in common.”

His response stirred an uproar online and many criticized his reason for declining the follower’s request.

An autopsy has revealed that Whitney Adeniran, the 12-year-old Chrisland student who died during the school’s inter-house sports event on February 9, 2023, died of electrocution.

The deceased’s mother, Mrs. Blessing Adeniran, made this disclosure during an Instagram Live session on March 1, 2023.

According to Blessing, while the school claimed her daughter slumped, an autopsy result has shown that she was electrocuted.

Recall that Chrisland School, while reacting to the incident, alleged that about two weeks prior, Whitney had complained of ill health and chose not to participate in the school’s march-past.

In a statement released, the school claimed Whitney died “in public view and not under any hidden circumstances.

However, giving an update on the autopsy, Mrs. Blessing Adeniran accused Chrisland School of lying to her about her daughter’s death.

She called out Chrisland Schools for making her family go through the trauma due to the autopsy, when they could have just told them how their child died.

“The autopsy result is out and Desola was electrocuted. My daughter died of electrocution. I have been subjected to trauma for the past two weeks. Tomorrow will make it three weeks my baby died. The school made me think I was crazy They started pushing the narrative of she was sick; she was sickly. They sent letters and publications out.

“People insulted me and my family. My child was electrocuted to death. I told the school I don’t want trouble. All I want is answers. They came to my house and knelt down.

“I begged, I pleaded, I said ‘Mrs Amao please, I don’t know how autopsy is being done but I have browsed it and the image is scary. Please my daughter is already dead, don’t make me put her through that, they will butcher her. I beg you in the name of God, you are a mother, help me investigate and find out what happened.

“She said she doesn’t know. They refused to investigate. My daughter was butchered for autopsy. She was opened up. They took part of her kidney, liver, stomach contents, blood, brain, bone marrow. Omodesola was butchered just because Chrisland kept protecting their reputation.” She said.
