Award-winning Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham, has shared a video of the emotional moment a female fan burst into tears after meeting her for the first time.
The thespian and movie producer did a meet and greet at Silverbird Cinema, Lagos, on Sunday, January 8, for her latest movie “Ijakumo” when she met the young lady.
The lady, who happens to be a huge fan of the actress since childhood, couldn’t contain her emotions after seeing the actress for the first time in her life, and broke down in tears.
Her emotional outburst caught the attention of the stellar actress and she proceeded to give her a warm embrace as she wept uncontrollably on her shoulder.
Toyin posted the video on her official Instagram page and disclosed that the incident is one of the biggest experiences of her acting career.
She wrote,

In the comment section, the fan who was still reveling in the priceless experience, said she has been a big fan of Toyin Abraham since she was a child.

In an interview with Broadway TV, the actor spoke about his properties and how successful his acting and filmmaking career has been.
According to him, there is no actor bigger than him in Africa at the moment. Speaking about his properties, Zubby revealed that he owns three houses in Lagos, Anambra and Asaba, Delta state.
He also disclosed that he recently made 120 million, but added that he doesn’t pay tithe or do all those “churchy” things, instead he gives 10% of his income to people.
Zubby noted that if anyone sees him throwing money to people, they might not understand but that is his own way of paying tithe.
A therapist has shared her thoughts on people who are very quick to threaten to end their relationships after a disagreement.
In a post she shared on her Twitter page, the Therapist opined that threatening to leave a relationship every time conflict arises can be a respomse to trauma.

A young Nigerian woman has sparked concern from netizens after she left a disturbing post on Facebook.
In the post made on a Christian Facebook group on Saturday, January 7, 2023, the lady identified as Ngozi Blessing said she’s considering selling her soul to the devil due to the challenges she’s facing.
According to her, her current problems are so severe that she believes the solution is to sell her soul to the devil.
“Am thinking of selling my soul to the devil. These challenges I am facing are more than enough.” She wrote.

In other news, a UK-based man was recently confronted after he traveled miles from his city to meet up with a 13-year-old girl who he had allegedly been sending lewd messages to.
In a video making the rounds online, the man, who’s said to be Nigerian, was accused of travelling from Edinburgh to Leeds to visit the minor.
When confronted, he claimed he travelled down to surprise the minor for her birthday as she would be turning 14.
Eyewitnesses who confronted him then questioned why he had been sending nasty messages to the 13-year-old despite knowing she was a minor, and they read out some of the messages he allegedly sent her.
One of the messages showed him asking the girl to masturbate and do all sorts of lewd acts. He, however, denied the allegation, insisting he was only there to surprise her for her birthday. Watch the video here.

Nigerian singer Akinbiyi Abiola Ahmed, professionally known as Bella Shmurda, has revealed that fellow artiste, Mohbad almost committed suicide after his issue with Naira Marley.
Recall that Mohbad came out on social media last October to accuse label boss, Naira Marley of assaulting him and his siblings.
In an interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, Bella revealed that Mohbad almost killed himself but his girlfriend walked in at the right moment and saved him.

Actress and media personality, Afoluwake Ogunkeye a.k.a Folu Storms has counseled filmmakers to consider alternative venues for film promotion and exposure because not all films are suitable for cinematic release.
In an interview with Sunday Scoop, Folu stated that although movies screened in cinemas have prestige attached, their exposure is also constrained, particularly in Nigeria.
She said;
“I am confused why many people are still hustling to get into the cinema. While I think the cinema is great and there is a certain level of prestige attached to it, it is limited in terms of funds. Its visibility is also limited, especially in Nigeria.
“How many cinemas do we have in Nigeria? How many cinemas do we even have in Lagos? It is a case of your toilet not working at home and you are wearing designer shoes outside. It is packaging. Cinema is necessary for certain types of films. I do not believe everyone should be hustling into the cinema.”
Folu asked filmmakers to make an effort to distribute their works internationally.
In her words;
“Filmmakers should desire the world to see their works. That is what our musicians have done. Are our musicians just clamouring to be heard in Lagos? They want their music to be global. You want the rest of the world to be your marketplace. That is the idea. That is my approach towards filmmaking. Kenyan Policemen have arrested a man identified as Jackton Odhiambo as the main suspect in the murder of LGBTQ activist, Edwin Chiloba.
It was gather that Odhiambo was in a relationship with the LGBTQ activist and he confessed to k*lling him and depositing his body by the roadside over allegations that he cheated on him.
Police spokeswoman Resla Onyango said detectives have also detained a car that was used in disposing of the body on the road. She added that love triangle is among the theories they are pursuing for now.
According to Investigations, Jackton executed the murder with the help of his two friends. The suspect said he murdered Chiloba as revenge for betraying him.
Jackton who had been staying with the Chiloba for one year in Eldoret was arrested on Friday January 6, as the main suspect in the murder. The two lived together as husband and wife.
Police also revealed that Jackton told curious neighbours who had perceived a bad smell from a house Chiloba stayed with him and two others that it was a dead rat that had died there and that he was trying to remove it.
“He told the neighbours it was a dead rat that was smelling when they sought to know what was smelling from the house they lived,” Uasin Gishu county DCI boss Peter Kimulwo said.

The multi-talented Nollywood star made this disclosure in an interview with media personality Hawa Magaji, where she spoke about her childhood, career, and relationships.
Opening up about her relationship with her mother, Bimbo said that they don’t have a connection because it was her father who singlehandedly raised her.
According to her, her mother abandoned her when she was just two years old.
“My mom is alive. She lives like fifteen to twenty minutes away from me. We just don’t have a friendship. So I just don’t talk about it because I would love for people to respect that. Men of the Kwara State Police Command have arrested a young man, identified as Issa Naigheti, for allegedly kidnapping his father and collecting a ransom of N2.5 million.
The spokesperson of the command, Ajayi Okasanmi, who confirmed Issa’s arrest, said he was arrested around the Kambi area of Ilorin by officers attached to the anti-kidnapping team of the Kwara police command.
Okasanmi further revealed that the suspect admitted to having conspired with two others to kidnap his father during interrogation.
“The suspect confessed under interrogation to having conspired with two others to kidnap his father, Bature Naigboho in Igboho/Igbeti area of Oyo State and collected N2.5m ransom”, he said.
Okasanmi further revealed that the case would be transferred to Oyo State, which is where the crime took place.
In other news, operatives of the Delta State Police Command have arrested some suspects in connection with the rape and kidnap of some victims in Ughelli North LGA of the state.
Spokesperson of the command, DSP Bright Edafe, in a statement dated Wednesday, January 4, gave a detailed account of how the suspects used Facebook to lure unsuspecting victims to an hotel, gangrape them and then held them hostage till their parents pay ransom to secure their release.
He also said the suspects filmed one of the victims while inserting a candle into her private part, and used the explicit video to blackmail her parents into paying a huge ransom.
A UK-based man was recently confronted after he traveled miles from his city to meet up with a 13-year-old girl who he had allegedly been sending lewd messages to.
In a video making the rounds online, the man, who’s said to be Nigerian, was accused of travelling from Edinburgh to Leeds to visit the minor.
When confronted, he claimed he travelled down to surprise the minor for her birthday as she would be turning 14.
Eyewitnesses who confronted him then questioned why he had been sending nasty messages to the 13-year-old despite knowing she was a minor, and they read out some of the messages he allegedly sent her.
One of the messages showed him asking the girl to masturbate and do all sorts of lewd acts. He, however, denied the allegation, insisting he was only there to surprise her for her birthday.

In other news, popular Instagram comedian, Isaac Aloma, better known as Zics Aloma, has said he doesn’t share in the excitement of relocating outside the country like most Nigerians.
Zics stated this in a lengthy post shared via his Twitter handle on Thursday, January 5, while speaking on the ‘japa’ culture in Nigeria.
He said he doesn’t buy the idea of living as a second class citizen in another man’s country, and he finds it weird when people congratulate someone for relocating to a foreign country.
According to him, the mass relocation shows that many Nigerians have given up hope on the country, adding that many are living a more miserable life abroad than they lived in Nigeria.
A lady’s pregnancy transformation has sparked concern from social media users.
The lady had taken to Twitter to share the transformation her body underwent by sharing photos of herself before and during pregnancy.
The photos showed the lady in a black dress looking stunning before her pregnancy and completely different in the ones taken during her pregnancy.
Her face doubled in size during the pregnancy, with her eyes, lips, and nose appearing extremely swollen.
She also shared a photo of her foot, which looked equally swollen.
Reacting to the photos, netizens expressed worry over the abrupt changes in her body.
“This is very dangerous when you are pregnant, nothing to laugh about, of not immediately taken serious she can lose the baby or herself”, A Twitter user wrote.
@kikimasibi, who shared the photos on social media, allayed people’s fears by revealing that the woman had given birth already and that the child is about two years old.
“The baby is around 2 years now”, she replied.

In videos that have been shared online, the rapper was seen fighting off a concert goer who presumably tried to steal from him while he was performing.

A Syria-based journalist has revealed why he still does the dishes in his house occasionally despite having three wives.
Bilal Abdul Kareem, in a post shared via his Twitter handle, said marrying multiple wives isn’t only about sex or leadership, but service.
He said if his three wives can be committed to taking care of their children daily, then he can also wash the dishes from time to time.
He posted a photo of him in the kitchen and wrote,

The man with Twitter handle @kofotalks had taken to the microblogging platform to reveal his plan for Adejare wherever he sees her.
He said he would kiss the 2-year-old girl regardless of the place he meets her, even if she’s with her parents – Simi and Adekunle Gold.

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God and Revered clergyman, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has accused political aspirants of hiring people to fill up their campaign rallies.
He stated this while speaking at the RCCG January Holy Ghost Service on Friday, January 6.
According to him, youths who fill up rallies are jobless and are paid by all the parties involved to just show up but have no plans for life after the elections.

A Nigerian businesswoman, Valencia Poise, has narrated the tragic story of how her female friend discovered that her husband of seven years is gay.

“I didn’t want to weigh in on this Fancy Achalonu issue but when I read her interview on Stella Dimoko Korkus page this morning and then I got a call from my friend who asked me to share her experience, I just have to write this.
Like I said, this is a true life story that happened to my very close friend, she got married at the age of 38 and left the marriage at the age of 45, that’s is after 7 years. The husband during their 3 months courtship convinced her to stay celibate claiming to be a good Christian and she was happy about it as such stance translates to ‘good man’ for most people. The lady waited faithfully for her husband till he finally married her both traditionally and in church after 3 months of courtship. You would think he would consummate the marriage but he did not, he lied to her that he had an accident few months back that affected his waist and was still healing from the surgeries. Another waiting journey started, it was so bad that this man took her to a doctor to soothe her fears, the crooked doctor assured her all was well and that the husband only needed a little more to fully recover before he can perform his martial duties. Coming from a licensed doctor, you would think it was true but it was all a plan between her husband and the doctor to fool her. She kept waiting for the acclaimed waist injuries to heal.

I asked her what it was and she said she caught her husband pants down with a guy in their matrimonial home. Imagine the height of wickedness, wasting someone’s daughter’s time for good 7 years, 7 years of courtship and marriage without sex and ofcourse without a child.
She told me that after she had called me, that she spoke to another friend of hers who told her that rather than leave the marriage as a divorcee she should come out as a widow, her friend told her to kill him for being so heartless and deceitful with her and wasting her time. I clearly told her I will not be a party to killing anyone no matter their crime but I encouraged her to go to her family, open up to and tell them her story, the whole truth, then leave the marriage in one piece. I knew she needed a fresh start, so I asked her to get me her passport and choose any country of her choice to she would want to relocate to and I will help get her the visa. That was exactly what she did, she left the marriage and she is no longer in this country as I write this. She has started life afresh with nothing for all her years in marriage, if her ex-husband had not wasted her time maybe she might have married another man and had her own beautiful family by now.”
