Nigerian singer and music executive, Olamide, has advised his fans and followers to take their problems to God.

Taking to his twitter account, the Indigenous rapper shared a verse in the Holy Quran that confirmed no one was powerful enough to help with problems but Allah.

According to him, only those with business were permitted to reach out to him.

He tweeted;

“lā ḥawla wa-lā quwwata ʾillā bi-llāhi l-ʿaliyyi l-ʿaẓīmi (There is no power nor strength except by Allah the Lofty, the Great). If you got a problem call God oh ! If you get business holla me”

In other news, JJC SKillz, the estranged husband of popular actress and politician, Funke Akindele, has shared a cryptic post about forgiveness.

The rapper took to his Instastories to post a quote that highlighted the true test of one’s strength as forgiveness.

“I never knew how strong I was until I had to forgive someone who wasn’t sorry, and accept an apology I never received,” the quote reads.

JJC Skillz, who seemed to relate to the message of the quote, appreciated God for the strength to forgive an unnamed person.

A lady identified as Maryam Muh’d Liman passed away just eleven days after her wedding.

Idris Elmustapha Daja, the woman’s husband, took to Facebook to announce the death of his wife to family, friends, and colleagues. She passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, after they were married on January 6, 2023, in Niger State.


He wrote;

“We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return.
11 days of Marriage, i lost her today”

Following a funeral prayer on Wednesday morning at Hajia Fatima Madugu’s home on Okada Road in Minna, Maryam was buried at the Gbakungu burial site.

In other news, 33-year-old woman, Nadia Joseph-Gosine, died suddenly on the morning of her dream wedding to her partner of five years.

It was gathered that Nadia, from Beckton, had travelled to Trinidad to get married to her fiancé, Devon Gosine, when she passed away in her sleep due to liver failure.

The mother of one, who was in Trindad with her 10-year-old son, Emari, had arrived a few weeks earlier in preparation for her big day, but died just hours before her wedding while sleeping next to her fiancé.

Nadia’s devastated sister, Isha Daley, however, said she knew Nadia had liver issues in the past but thought everything was now okay.

Nadia’s heartbroken fiancé, Devon, described her in a phone conversation with MyLondon as “the most loving, caring, and genuine person” and the love of his life.

“She was the love of my life. She was always the best part of my life.’ I can’t stop being reminded of what happened. Seeing everything and still I’m in disbelief. After all that time we were finally getting married. We were preparing for the rest of our life and all of a sudden it gets taken away. “3k to 150K” -Court orders lady to pay man for refusing to show up after collecting N3k fare

An Enugu Magistrate court has reportedly granted the sum of N150,000 in damages to a man in his suit against a lady who breached an agreement.

The shocking tale was shared on the microblogging platform, Twitter by a user who identified as a Nupe lawyer who said the magistrate awarded damages against the lady to serve as a deterrent.


According to the lawyer, the woman had received N3,000 as transport fare on the premise that she would visit, but she failed to show up.

The guy then took her to court for receiving money under false pretenses, and the chief magistrate ordered her to give him N150k. The petitioner informed the judge that she turned off her phone after receiving the money he had provided.

The lawyer wrote;

“A court in Enugu has reportedly set a good precedent by awarding damages of 150k against a lady. She was given 3k as transport fare to visit a guy and after collecting the money, she switched off her phone and refused to visit him. Infuriated by her action, he reported and sued her for deceit.”

Simi, who posted the video on TikTok recently, captured the moment she and her husband threw jabs at each other and captioned it, “POV: You’re married to an ingrate”.

In the video, the mother of one is seen plaiting her husband’s hair and giving a commentary on the braiding process.

When she finished plaiting the hair and adorned it with beads, she asked her husband for his feedback on the hairstyle and the quality of her service.

Instead of appreciating her, Adekunle Gold playfully advised her to stick to making music because she can’t be successful at hairdressing.

He added that she was too slow and talked too much while plaiting his hair which is not appropriate. He further advised her to go and learn speed if she wants to prosper as an hair stylist.

Nollywood actress Funke Akindele’s estranged husband, Abdulrasheed Bello, better known as JJC Skillz, has revealed that he has reverted to Islam.

This comes months after his marriage to award-winning actress turned politician Funke Akindele crashed.

JJC, who announced this in a series of posts on his verified Instagram handle and corroborated his announcement in an interview with an Islamic online platform, Muslims News, on Thursday, stated that he was previously lost but has now been found.

According to him, he was originally born into an Islamic family, but his mother was a Christian.

“I was lost but now I’m found, O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in this life and the next. O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in my religious and worldly affairs, and my family and my wealth.

O Allah, veil my weaknesses and set at ease my dismay, and preserve me from the front and from behind and on my right and on my left and from above, and I take refuge with You lest I be swallowed up by the earth.” He wrote on Instagram.

In another post, he wrote,

“Old things shall pass away and new things shall come our way. May Allah (SWT) continually do new things in our lives. I pray Allah (SWT) Light every path we follow, gives us the Wisdom & Guidance to every step we take, bless every decision we make, and make us excel in all aspect of life & grants us & our family Al-Jannah Firdausi. Speaking to Muslim News after the Instagram posts were shared, JJC said it was God’s design for him to embrace Islam.

“I was born a Muslim – AbdurRasheed by name. My dad, Bello is a Muslim but my mum is a Christian. Back then I used to go Islamiyah but all I remembered about it was getting beaten. They used to scare us with hellfire so, I never practiced. It’s God’s design that I will return to Islam. I thank Allah for sparing my life. He said.

Nigerian music superstar, Wizkid has seemingly reacted to the criticisms he received over his planned tour with his colleague, Davido.

Recall that the ‘Made in Lagos’ hitmaker recently announced that he will be going on tour with the DMW boss, to the surprise of many.

In a post he shared on Wednesday, January 18, Wizkid said after his More Love, Less Ego tour scheduled to kick off in March 2023, he and Davido will be going on tour.

A video showing the scary moment popular Instagram content creator, Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori, popularly known as KieKie, fell off a treadmill during a gym session is making the rounds online.

Reality star and fitness enthusiast, Saga, recently took to Instagram to share a video montage of his gym sessions while creating content with KieKie.

However, a part of the video showing the moment comedian and show host Kiekie, who recently gave birth to her first child and whose incredible snapback has left many in awe, fell alarmed her fans and followers. 

In the video, Kiekie was energetically working out with former Big Brother Naija housemate, Saga. She was running on the treadmill as it quickened its pace when she missed her step, causing her to fall off the machine and tumble to the floor.

The new mom looked in a bit of discomfort as Saga helped her to her feet as she gathered herself up. A man is also seen approaching them and asking if Kiekie was okay.

Sharing the video on his Instagram page, Saga noted that the fall was so scary that it was hard to explain to people around that they were shooting content.

“This fall was so scary someone came to ask if she was fine”. He wrote in part.

Nigerian comedian and event compere, Mr Jollof has heavily criticized popular singer, Wizkid’s planned tour with his colleague, Davido.

Recall that the ‘Made in Lagos’ star, in a post shared via his Instastory on Wednesday, January 18, announced that he will be going on tour with the DMW boss.

According to Wizkid, at the end of his More Love, Less Ego tour scheduled to kick off in March 2023, he and Davido will be going on tour.

His announcement was met with mixed reactions from fans of the singers due to the age-long beef and disharmony between them.

Reacting to the news, Mr Jollof, speaking in a video posted on his Instagram page, slammed Wizkid for deciding to go on tour with Davido at a time when his career is allegedly struggling.

A while ago, Hermes took to social media to share a very touching video of his recent visit to his ailing mum.

The reality TV star, who revealed that was the first time seeing his mother since after the reality show, gave an update on her health.

According to him, she’s doing a lot better than before he went into the house. Hermes noted that the last time he saw his mother in person was about one week and some days before he went on BBNaija.

“It’s been a while since I last saw my mom. Today I’m going to see my mum. I don’t even know how I feel. I’m excited. She doesn’t say a word. The curvaceous thespian recently met with the Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, and shared a video from the meeting on social media.

In the video, the actress was dressed in a short skirt, a jacket, and a human hair blonde wig, which she later revealed cost a whopping N750,000.

Taking to the microblogging platform, the man with handle @seyedele said people visiting new parents should give money to the fathers instead of the mothers.

In his defense, he said women rarely remember who gifted them money amid the stress of taking care of the baby, and they are only interested in the kind words and empathy they receive.

He tweeted,

“Unpopular opinion: it’s the father you should give the envelope of money when visiting a couple who just had a baby, not the mother.

Popular Instagram skit makers and brand influencers, Ashmusy and Nons Miraj have thrown a direct shade at media personality Nedu Wazobia.

This follows the uproar caused by Nedu’s revelation about walking in on two influencers having a group intercourse with one of his wealthy friends. 

Recall that Nedu during his recent podcast recounted how he caught two famous influencers having threesome with his wealthy friend in Abuja.

According to him, he walked in on the popular Internet celebrities having coitus with the rich man at the Transcorp Hilton hotel in Abuja, though he conceded their identities.

Amid the buzz Nedu’s revelation stirred controversial Instagram blogger Gistlover posted a photo collage of politician Dino Melaye, Ashmusy, and Nons Miraj while hinting at exposing their escapades.

It appears the anonymous blogger’s post made many social media users assume that Ashmusy and her friend, Nons Miraj, are allegedly the ladies Nedu referred to in his podcast.

Well, the ladies who had previously taken to their respective social media pages to refute the viral claim have now thrown a subtle shade at Nedu in their latest skit.

In the post presumed to be a dig at her detractors and the so-called “perfect people,” Annie, wife of legendary singer 2Baba, highlighted the rare qualities of strong individuals like herself.

According to her, she lives her life on her own terms and does not care about the opinions of her detractors. However, should they decide to make things right, their apologies should be as loud as the disrespect they give out.

Nigerian business mogul, Obi Cubana’s wife, Ebele Iyiegbu, has addressed men who are vehemently against building up their women.

The vice president of Cubana Group, in a post shared on her Instagram page, spoke to men who disagreed with her husband after he advised them to build their women up because they would need her later.

She said even though she understands their point, there are still good women who would be loyal and submissive to them if they support her growth.

Ebele assures

The mother of four further advised these men to take care of the woman in their life because women thrive on love and care.

She wrote,

“Dear MEN,

Earlier in the week my husband posted a picture of us with the caption …” Build her up…you will need her later”. And I was amazed at some of the comments by men about how building women up is a waste😳
Don’t get me wrong. Your comments are to some extent valid but I think it’s time we begin to shift our mindset on how these things work.
There are still good women out there.
A woman sometimes becomes a reflection of how you treat her. It’s never easy for a good woman to walk away. If you don’t like how she’s acting, take a look again at how you are treating her. This gender thrives on love and care.
Take care of your woman and build her up!

WOMEN! Pls, let’s begin to change this narrative about us. Become a woman who can be trusted and who can build with her husband.”

Nigerian dancer Korra Obidi’s ex-husband, Justin Dean, has reacted after she made new damning allegations against him on social media.

You will recall that during a recent Facebook Live session, the mother of two shared what she went through at her estranged husband’s hands while revealing that they have begun another round of court battles for the custody of their children.

Speaking amid tears during the Facebook Live session on Tuesday, Korra revealed that Justin Dean filed a new lawsuit for full custody of their kids.

According to Korra, Justin filed the suit on the grounds that she’s negligent of her duties as a mother and allegedly leaves the children unattended to while she focuses on her live sessions.

She described Justin’s abuse during their marriage, saying he once called her a “cunt” at a party and told her male friends to line up so she could perform oral sex on them.

She added that he also pushed her at the party and then would have succeeded in gaslighting her into believing it didn’t happen, but friends who witnessed it confirmed it did.

She claimed Justin would usually hit her in the presence of their children, and on one occasion, he dragged her forcefully while she was pregnant, and three days later she suffered a miscarriage.

Crying, Korra told those women who are supporting Justin that she wishes someone like him on them.

Following Korra’s outburst, Justin Dean also went live on Facebook to react.

He stated that he is very happy right now and hinted that his ex-wife gave the exact comments he was expecting, so he’s not surprised.

Speaking further, he noted that his utmost priority is to take good care of his daughters.

The thespian disclosed this after posting a video of her brief meeting with Peter Obi in November 2022 on her Instagram page, as she declared support for him.

Social media commentator, Daniel Regha has advised singer, Davido not to go on a tour with his colleague, afrobeat singer, Wizkid.

Recall that Wizkid had taken to his Instagram page to announce an upcoming world tour between the two acts to the surprise of all their fans.

Daniel who believed the tour was irrelevant, took to the microblogging platform, Twitter to share his thoughts.

According to him, Wizkid had never acknowledged Davido in public and always turned a blind eye whenever his fanbase attacked.

He also tweeted that Wizkid had lost his star power and was doing whatever to get it back because there were other artistes he could tour with like, Burna boy.

Nigerian actress, Caroline Danjuma, has taken to social media to celebrate her intellectual achievement.

The ex-wife of billionaire Musa Danjuma bagged a Master’s degree in International Law and excitedly announced that she graduated with a 4.09 GPA ( grade A ).

Caroline Danjuma took to Instagram page to brag and share photographs and videos from her graduation ceremony and expressing delight in her accomplishment.

Controversial dancehall and afrobeat artist Shatta Wale has lambasted the Ghanaian music industry as he turned to Nigerians for help.

Recall that Shatta Wale was not a fan of the Nigerian industry and he launched an assault on Grammy award-winning rapper Burna Boy a few months back while disclosing some of the artist’s hidden dealings while netizens flocked to his page to attack him during his banter with Burna Boy.

However, it appears that the musician has realized that the Nigerian market will be of tremendous benefit to his music career as he seeks assistance.

While requesting help from Nigerians, Shatta Wale criticized the Ghanaian music scene, calling it a “disgrace.”

A young Nigerian woman, identified as Uba Sandra Chisom, has been thrown into mourning after her husband, Henry Ifeka, was killed by suspected kidnappers.

Henry was reportedly kidnapped over the festive break and murdered by his abductors despite having received the ransom demanded for his release.

The bereaved widow got married to her husband barely two years ago and they recently welcomed a set of twins.

In a now-deleted post, Sandra who is devastated by the unfortunate and avoidable death of her husband wrote,

“They didn’t only kidnap you…we paid the ransom and they still killed you. You couldn’t wait for us to celebrate our 2nd anniversary…you left me in this sinful world, leaving me with our twin babies. God this is hard for me oo…May your killers never go unpunished.”

She also took to her Facebook page on Monday, January 16, to update her cover photo with a photo from their traditional wedding held in Anambra state in 2020.

Commenting under the post, her friends and family condoled with her and prayed for the soul of her husband to rest in peace.

Nigerian singer Paul Okoye, has called out comedian Ayo Makun for not declaring open support for a political candidate in the upcoming election.

AY had taken to his Instagram page to ask the youth which of the candidates they planned to vote for in the forthcoming election since they had a higher percentage of registered voters.

He wrote;

Ace Nigerian comedian, Bovi has shared his chat with a friend who asked him for financial assistance despite an outstanding debt from 15 years ago.

The friend who had borrowed N25,000 from Bovi since 2011 and was yet to pay it back recently reached out to him for another financial favour, but the comedian was not having it.

According to the friend, he’s planning to move into a new apartment because he can no longer afford his previous rent. However, he still needed N500,000 to balance the new rent.

He begged Bovi to help with the balance before he looses the new house to another person due to a lack of funds.

“Please can you help with any assistance to be able to balance up. I have till Wednesday to pay up before someone else takes it”, the friend pleaded.

Responding, Bovi declined to help and reminded the friend that he was still owing him N25,000 from 2011.

“You owe me 25k its almost 15 years now. 2011 in Igbinedon university I borrowed you for flight ticket. Pay that one first”. He wrote.

Sharing screenshot of the chat on his Instagram page, Bovi wrote, “I never forger! Memo to all”.

Nigerian singer and a member of Davido’s crew, Peruzzi, has finally revealed his resolution for the year.

Taking to his Twitter account, the singer shared that he has resolved to avoid people this year as a way to excel.

He tweeted;

“This Year, We Rise By Avoiding Others.”

A while back, Peruzzi reacted to OAP Adesope Olajide’s explanation of Wizkid’s interview.

The Podcaster had taken to the microblogging website to explain what Wizkid meant he said he did not listen to rap because the genre was dead, boring and tired.

“So this claim that wizkid was saying rap was dead hmmmnm , I actually think he didn’t mean African rap or rappers, I believe he was using the moment to highlight the growth of african music genres . Rappers responding got it wrong.” he wrote.

Peruzzi did not find this explanation necessary and called him a Bombo for explaining another man’s word. he took to his twitter to remind people to focus on the upcoming elections instead.

“More love less ego!” – Fans jubilates as Wizkid hints at tour with Davido

Nigerian music icon Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has caused a buzz online after he hinted that he will be going on tour with colleague Davido.

The “Made in Lagos” star made this revelation in a post on his official Instagram page on Wednesday, January 18.

According to him, at the end of his More Love, Less Ego tour, scheduled to kick off in March 2023, he and DMW boss, Davido will be going on tour.

“After my MLLE tour!! Davido and I going on tour! Save your coins I no one hear pim!!” He wrote on Instagram.

This announcement is much to the delight of Wizkid FC and 30BG—fans of the singers, who are perceived to have been at odds with one another for years.

Reacting, colleagues, and fans of Wizkid and Davido who were very thrilled by the news took to social media to express their excitement.
