No no matter what school I was in, I always felt like there was always going to be something that I was going to get attacked for.
So, when I was younger, I was an ugly duckling. I wasn’t cute. I don’t care what my mom says.
I was not a cute kid. I had crooked teeth and eczema. I just didn’t look good as far as I was concerned. And as far as people around me were concerned.
I used to get called ‘snakeskin, buck teeth, light bulb head, football legs’. Just different kinds of stuff and then I just blossomed. My skin cleared, I got braces, and I just kind of blossomed.
And I started to kind of feel beautiful for the first time in my life around 16. I think I probably was owning it a bit too much for some people in my school. I got bullied for that and it really broke me.
I was like ‘look, I can’t win’. When I was younger, I was getting bullied for being ugly and unattractive.
And now I finally feel like I’m beautiful and I’m trying to own it, that’s now the problem. I’m now getting bullied for that. So, I got ganged up on and ended up with a black eye, and a chipped tooth, on the same day.”

The Student Union Government (SUG) of the Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Imo State, has said that Sharon Ogechi Okoroafor, the lady who attributed her graduation success to the help of God and her private parts, was not a student of the school.
Sharon went viral a few days ago after a video of her celebrating her graduation and claiming it was made possible with the help of God and her private parts surfaced online.
Reacting to the video, the school authority launched an investigation to fish Sharon out.
Sharon later apologised to the institution in a letter, explaining that she meant to say Popsy (her father) and God helped her graduate from the Polytechnic.
In a quite shocking development, the SUG, in a statement released on Tuesday, said Sharon was not a student of the school.
According to the statement signed by the SUG president, Ahaneku Valentine, Sharon did not have a matriculation number with the school nor a project supervisor.
“We have noted with grave concern a viral video of a lady claiming to be a student of Federal Polytechnic Nekede, our great institution and noble alma mater. We have conducted a background check on the said student who goes by the name, Sharon Ogechi Okoroafor from Ngor-Okpala LGA of Imo State. We wish to state, thus, that the Student Union Government views this video as sacrilegious and condemnable.
Also, the said Sharon is not a bonafide student of the Federal Polytechnic Nekede because she has no Registration (Matriculation) Number. She also has no project or research supervisor to show she has graduated. Indeed, the purported student never joined others to do the defense which brought them to school because she had no work to defend. In fact, reports have it that she only came to take valedictory photos with her so-called coursemates.
Anyone can gatecrash in lectures but only a student who has been duly registered and screened by the institution is a genuine student ?Our institution is a reputable brand across the nation, having been rated best-performing polytechnic, and our Rector as best Rector five times.
It is the same institution that has produced great minds and leaders. We can therefore not allow the name of our great institution to be taken to the mud by the accusations of a base character. We, therefore, urge Miss Sharon Okoroafor to stop forthwith in her fraudulent claims that she is a student of Federal Polytechnic Nekede Owerri. Already she has caused great damage to the sensibilities of noble students of the polytechnic and those of the entire Nigerian students nationwide. We leave her in the hands of posterity to judge?” The statement read.

Mixed reactions have trailed a viral video of a rich wedding guest spraying money on a couple in a quite unusual manner.
In the viral video, a man wearing a white agbaba and a traditional Igbo chief cap and beads to match approached the couple where they were sitting to spray them with money.

Reacting, an Instagram user @hiis_eminence wrote, “A disrespectful way to make someone happy.”
@philldellayve, “The undertone arrogance as he prays them is almost ruining the essence of the spraying. Spray people money with respect and it will have more WEIGHT and beautify it even if it wasn’t a lot.”
@neo_officiall_, “Why can’t this man just maybe make a transfer to the couple, give them the briefcase openly, give them a cheque or just give them this money after the event, why do these kids in adult bodies with very fragile ego and low self esteem prefer to do this just to place all the attention on themselves?. Why exactly do people do this?. Its clear to see the couple were uncomfortable with it. Smh.”

“A small story of “NA WHO GIVE UP FUCK UP”
The journey and Story of my life was never smooth but this Abeokuta Born and Lagos bred boy never gave up !
Memories of the very beginning, when the journey started . I was just an helpless young boy who does his things and make people laugh unintentionally, to the point that I was picked up in secondary school By a non governmental organization whose main aim is to train young people majorly through acting, dance and music , Memories of when I gained admission into the university and still didn’t give up , I remember the days I skipped classes to follow this dream of mine , to the year I graduated from UNI 2007/2008 , this stubborn boy still didn’t give up.
Memories of the days I borrowed money to go on movie set, borrow clothes to wear on set even though I wasn’t getting paid, I remember begging for money and food to survive.
Memories of the multiple times i got rejected, Insulted , Ridiculed and bullied that ACTING is not my career path and that I’ll never make it in this field that I choose.
I remember the times I almost gave up on myself and the career, I remember crying endlessly and told myself it’s better to die.
Memories of the times I walked hours to get on set and rehearsals simply because I had No tfare, I remember when I had to be a camera boy ,Wash Oga’s Cars.
Then the times i finally started getting paid 1k , 2k , 5k for a lead role, I remember receiving the payments with so much joy , happiness and gratitude.
This journey of mine from being just a little boy with big dreams to becoming the Superstar that I am today has come with a lot of challenges and Stories untold, I’ll tell the whole story someday to inspire one or two .
I am grateful to God for the journey so far , for his grace and mercy .
This little story of mine is to let you know that your dreams are valid ,No matter what it is you are going through right now, as long as you do not give up ,you will get there . It might take time and I know waiting isn’t easy , but hang in there and Keep doing your best. You will make it , God will come through for you and you will laugh last.
