A UK-based student nurse identified as Joan has sparked outrage amongst netizens after taking to social media to blast an alleged scammer for trying and failing to dupe her.

She made a video to call out the internet fraudster for his approach which she claimed was terrible and advised him to go back to school.

According to her, the Yahoo boy posed as a CIA official and notified her that she had supposedly been selected to become a CIA agent but started his message with “hello” which was something a professional organization would not do.

Joan who claimed she saw through his deception, blasted him in pidgin for trying his ‘Nigerian antics’ on her.

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi has assured Nigerians that the issue of animals swallowing millions of naira will never happen under his administration if he is elected president.

He shared this on Friday, January 27 while addressing students of the University of Abuja during a town hall meeting in the school.

Obi brought up a past incident that happened during the tenure of President Muhammadu Buhari when a JAMB official claimed that a snake swallowed N36 million.

The former governor declared that if any official of the government made such a claim while he was president, the snake must be located and made to spit out the money.
The LP flagbearer informed the crowd that leaders who can pinpoint the nation’s issues will be able to guide the populace toward the new Nigeria they desire.

In his words;

“If I dare hear anyone say a snake swallowed money in my regime as President, we must look for that snake to vomit all the money
I assure you that a new Nigeria is possible and that new Nigeria will be made possible by leaders who understand what the problem is. This election that is coming ought not to be based on ethnicity. If you are from the North and anybody says vote for me because I am from the North, tell him that the poorest people are from the North.
They haven’t solved for years, in fact, it is unsecured. They have voted North since but what did they do? They used the controversies to ride to power. South-East is the same thing, poor people are everywhere. So please, it is not about ethnicity”.

Obi also expressed concern about the northern region’s failure to realize its great potentials, noting that nine out of the country’s ten poorest states are located there despite the region’s abundance of agricultural land, which could ensure that Nigeria not only feeds itself as a nation but also exports agricultural goods to earn foreign exchange.

Recall that during a recent Instagram live session, Carter Efe aired his grievance with Yhemo Lee for claiming that he earns the amount skit makers make for shooting seven videos in one night.

Taking to his Instagram story, Yhemolee shared a receipt of the payment he received after working for a night and warned Carter to mind his speech.

Nigerian skit maker and musician, Carter Efe has called out media personality, Yhemo Lee, for berating the hustle of skit makers in Nigeria.

During a recent Instagram live session , Carter Efe aired his grievance with Yhemo Lee for claiming that he earns the amount skit makers make for shooting seven videos in one night.

Yhemo Lee, who is an actor, hypeman, nightlife king, influencer and an entertainment connoisseur, had stated this in a recent interview with Cloud Africa.

This infuriated Carter Efe who went online to lash out at Yhemo Lee for looking down on skit makers, and underrating their craft.

He tackled Yhemo Lee and asked to know what he does at night since he claims to make so much money in one night.

An American pastor, Gerald Johnson, has claimed that he went to hell and saw demons singing Rihanna’s hit song ‘Umbrella’ as they tortured people.

The Michigan priest, who claimed that he temporarily died from a heart attack in 2016, said he heard Rihanna’s song echoing through the gates of hell during his tumultuous visit to purgatory.

Despite living his life as a man of God, Johnson said he was shocked when he didn’t make heaven and instead plummeted down to Hell.

In a video shared on TikTok, Johnson recounted his 2016 journey into abysss and said he wouldn’t wish it on his worst enemy.

‘I thought I was going upward, because I thought that I had done so much good in this lifetime and helped so many people and made so many decisions that were Godly decisions,’ he said.

‘But as opposed to me going up, I went down. I went literally into the center of the Earth. That’s where Hell is.’

He said he suffered severe punishments in Hell, including being tortured with demonic renditions of Rihanna’s ‘Umbrella’ and Bobby McFerrin’s ‘Don’t Worry Be Happy’.

‘It just blew me away, it still baffles me to this day,’ Johnson said.

‘There was a section in Hell where music was playing. It was the same music we hear on the Earth, but opposed to entertainers singing it, demons were singing it.

‘While up here, you can listen to music to get over a breakup like ‘Don’t Worry Be Happy’ or ‘Umbrella’, but down there every lyric to every song is to torment you.’

He added that his experience should serve as a warning to those who listen to chart toppers instead of hymns and prayers. He also claimed he saw a man being burned alive.

‘The things that I saw were indescribable, it makes me emotional,‘ he said.

‘His eyes were bulging and worse than that, he was wearing chains on his neck… it was a demon holding the chain.’

Following his resuscitation, the pastor said he now believes secular music is the underworld’s attempt to control people before they die.

‘On Earth, a lot of the lyrics and music are inspired by demons,’ he claimed.

‘People come into contact with demons who give them lyrics for the purpose of controlling people on Earth.’

Speaking further, he explained that the reason he went to hell despite doing a lot of good on earth was because he harbored unforgiveness in his heart against people who offended him.

President Muhammadu Buhari has shared the main motivation behind him joining the Nigerian Army.

According to the President, he joined the Nigerian army where he retired as a Major General, to escape the pressure of getting married.

The President revealed this during a visit to the Emir of Daura, Faruk Faruk, after inaugurating two roads in Katsina state.

A Statement by Presidential aide, Femi Adesina, reads ;

“President Buhari said that he secured his first job early after school to manage a co-operative in Daura, but had to escape and join the army when there was pressure that he should get married.

“I told Governor Aminu Masari the story of how I left Daura to join the army. That was how God planned it. We make choices in life, but eventually destiny is before God.

“I was at the war front during the civil war, and saw how many died. Some fell right beside me. God kept me.

“Many bridges were blown just before we arrived at some places, and after we crossed. I arrived at some places to see bodies of my own colleagues that we were fighting together. I am alive today only by God’s grace.

“This opportunity to serve the nation comes from God. All over the world, Nigeria is known for its diversity, with different religions and cultures.

“We are also known because we have a huge population of millions of people. For the President of Nigeria, at this time, to come from Daura is the grace and mercy of God.”

He died on Wednesday morning, January 25, in hospice after struggling with stage four colon cancer.

Randy used to give fans updates on his cancer battle, and remained positive while posting funny videos with his young son, Brice.

His last video was shared on December 16, 2022.

A Magistrate Court sitting in Ibusa, Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State has ordered the remand of a Man at Ogwashi-uku correctional centre for allegedly raping his girlfriend’s 17-year-old daughter.

Marvin Mordi, an Activist who is handling the case, revealed that the suspect who has allegedly been sexually molesting the victim since she was 11 years old also infected her with HIV virus.

There’s also a report mother of the victim was aware of the sexual abuse but covered it because she didn’t want to lose her relationship.

According to another popular activist, Comrade Israel Joe, the man infected both mother and child with the virus.

“Today, a magistrate court in Ibusa remanded this man who infested a woman with HIV and also has been defiling the woman’s daughter. I saw this man at State CID Asaba yesterday and thanked God he was not released hence the jungle justice would have taken place. Nigerian singer, Sina Rambo and his brother B-Red have reacted to the tribunal ruling annulling their father Ademola Adeleke’s election as governor of Osun state.

The Osun State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Osogbo on Friday, January 27 nullified the election of Ademola Adeleke as Osun governor.

In a split document of two to one, the tribunal declared that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) did not comply substantially with the Constitution and the provisions of the Electoral Act.

The tribunal led by Justice Terste Kume, therefore, instructed the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to withdraw the certificate of return issued to Adeleke and issue the same to Oyetola, who won a majority of the lawful votes.

Reacting to the judgement, Sina Rambo in a post on his Insta-stories wrote,

“Two judgments were issued today at the tribunal. One in favour of PDP. Nothing changed. Sen. Ademola Adeleke remains the governor of Osun State. We move to the appeal court. Peace be still. The mandate of Osun will not be stolen. H.E.Ademola Adeleke remains the Governor of Osun State.”

B-Red on his part wrote, “The Osun people do not want you sir. Please go and rest, you did not do nothing for OSUN state damn. Mr Oyetola please don’t stress my dad. Let him fix Osun”.

Nigerian kid comedian, Kiriku has reacted after a lady claiming to be his sister called him out, accusing him of abandoning his family.

The lady, who claimed to be Kiriku’s elder sister, alleged that the 8-year-old skit maker had abandoned his family since his rise to fame.

She claims that the alleged neglect has caused their parents grief.

“I don’t know what we did to him. He left us for the past few years. I am the first daughter of his family. He is my mummy’s last born. He just abandon us for no no reason at all. He has been following umbrella boy since he became famous. He has not been asking about us. The man he bought car for is Umbrella Boy’s dad, he is not my dad. He should come home and buy car for our own dad.” She said in part.

Reacting, Kiriku, in a series of posts on his Instagram page, dispelled her claims as false.

He denied being related to the lady in the viral video in any way and shared photos of himself and his family members to corroborate his claim.

A mild drama ensued in the Big Brother Titans house last night after Khosi saw her love interest, Yemi, flirting with Blue Aiva at the pool party.

Recall that Yemi and Khosi became an item after they met in the house, and shared their first kiss barely two days into the show.

However, their ‘situationship’ has been plagued with so much drama because Yemi is also romantically involved with Blue Aiva, while Khosi has a thing for Miracle.

Last night, during the pool party, the housemates were in a celebratory mood after winning their wager task.

Amid the groove, Yemi was spotted holding Blue Aiva intimately in the presence of Khosi and the other housemates.

This didn’t sit well with Khosi who approached them to complain about their public display of affection.

She also tagged along when Yemi went to the toilet and gave him a piece of her mind. However, Yemi claimed she was overthinking things and making things awkward between them.

Nigerian media personality and daughter of late Afro-beat legend Fela Kuti, Yeni Kuti, has stated that cheating is not a deal breaker for her in a relationship or marriage.

Speaking on TVC, the 61-year-old noted that she wouldn’t end things with her partner if she discovered him cheating with another woman. According to her, her father, the late Fela Kuti, had 27 wives, and her mother didn’t leave her marriage.

She noted, however, that her deal-breaker is finding out her partner is sleeping with another man.

“For me cheating is not a deal breaker. My father had 27 wives, my mother didn’t go. I am not saying she was happy, but she didn’t leave. My own deal breaker is if I find out my own partner is sleeping with another man. That is my deal breaker. I will run, they wouldn’t even beg me. I will run”.

A while ago, Yeni Kuti, the first daughter of late Afro-beat legend, Fela, revealed that she used to be addicted to smoking.

She said she decided to put an end to her urges when she started having chest pain, which seemed to her to be life threatening.

Big Brother Titans housemate, Marvin Achi has received praises online for preventing his South African colleague, Blue Aiva, from touching his groin region.

Marvin, from Port Harcourt, Nigeria, was having a chat with Blue Aiva on Wednesday night when she made a move to touch his lower body.

Intuitively, he stopped her and warned her not to touch him inappropriately. Blue Aiva, who seemed surprise at the rejection, had to ask for his reason.

In response, the fitness enthusiast said he is keeping his body for his girlfriend back at home, and cautioned her against touching his nether region.

“You can’t touch it. I’m reserving it for my girl,” he said.

Following his response, Aiva curiously asked: “So you have a girlfriend?”

Nigerian Catholic priest, Kelvin Ugwu, has tackled women who claim to detest polygamy but wish to marry billionaire business mogul and politician, Ned Nwoko.

Fr Ugwu took to Facebook to address such women after Ned Nwoko surprised his sixth wife, actress Regina Daniels, with bundles of naira notes while she was at a movie location.
