A pregnant woman has gotten people talking on social media after she underwent an intense ‘spa’ session to lighten her skin instantly.

A video trending on the internet shows the moment the woman went through the procedure called ‘lightening glow bath’ to bleach her skin.

In the viral clip, the heavily pregnant woman, who covered her face to conceal her identity, passed through different stages of treatment to achieve a lighter skin.

The beautician applied different liquid products, charcoal-like substance, steam on the pregnant woman’s skin, and walked around her body with a lantern lit with fire.

After the application, she used water to rinse all the substances from her body and her skin had transformed into a lighter tone.

The video clip has sparked different reactions online as many berated the expectant mother for putting her baby in harm’s way because she couldn’t wait to deliver before undergoing the procedure.

Someone knowledgeable and well-learned wouldn’t do something like this. Only a selfish person, who doesn’t care about her child’s health but her looks will do something this ridiculous.

There are some ingredients that pregnant women should avoid I’m sure she doesn’t even know anything about what they are rubbing on her body, a woman just wants to lighten up and glow 🤡 .

Skin changes during pregnancies are normal. A lot of women may experience darkened faces/skin during pregnancy due to naturally INCREASED melanin production. These darkened areas usually lighten within a few months of delivery.

You don’t need a “lightning bath or Cream or anti-acne drug for these “temporary” changes.
We know that you don’t love yourself enough, if you do, you won’t be going for a lightning bath but please for the sake of the innocent soul, stay away from these things.”

A 34-year-old woman has tied the knot with her lover of nine years after she paid her bride price on his behalf.

The young woman identified as Zuku revealed she’s a graduate with three qualifications, and her parents had vowed to collect a lot of money from her husband.

She claimed she knew her husband could not afford the bride price, so she decided to help him with it since she earns more than him.

Zuku said her spouse initially objected to the idea but eventually gave in and accepted the help.

The bride, while sharing their story on News24, said,

“We dated for almost nine years before tying the knot. I’m from a Xhosa background, and my parents have always made it clear that they’re going to request a hefty amount of lobola because I’m an engineer with three qualifications and one of them being from an internationally acclaimed university. So, I always knew lobola would be a thing and basically had no choice.

“My husband didn’t support the idea and declined my offer, but it just made so much sense. His family would be paying so much for the wedding ceremonies and gifting my family.

“I also earned more than him and was in a position to come up with the lobola money. At the time, he felt emasculated but in hindsight; it made more financial sense for both of us and the life we were about to build together.” She said.

A young lady identified as Weleski, whose 20-year-old sister just graduated with a first-class degree from Rivers state university has shared a heartbreaking tale of the unemployment that plagues her family.

She shared a video of her sister crying in her graduation gown instead of the usual smiles and explained why.

According to her, her brother graduated with a first class last year and has been unemployed since then.

Weleski narrated how her sister worked hard to achieve her degree and was also scared she might end up like that.

She wrote;

“Today is suppose to be a very happy day in my family but I am extremely heartbroken 💔. This is my younger sister, a 20 year old girl that have dedicated her entire life and worked soo hard by combining academics and being the back bone of my mother’s mini Resturant business just so we can survive. I watch this young lady stay up almost all night to study just so she could make good grades like her immediate elder brother who also graduated with a first class Division from the Department of medical laboratory science. Today God has indeed answered our endless prayers and my girl has graduated with a First class Division and a CGPA of 4.80 from the Prestigious RIVERS STATE UNIVERSITY.
We had all vowed to make good grades so that We could free our parents from struggling and get retained by the university as lecturers, but today that dream cannot be seen coming forth 😞. Last year, my immediate younger brother who also graduated with a first class degree and was the Best graduating student from his department was promised by the Vice Chancellor of the university Professor Nlerum Sunday Okogbule under the encouragement and support of the Honourable Registrar of Medical laboratory science council of Nigeria (MLSCN) of an instant employment (lecturing job). This promise and great news brought instant happiness and gave joy and fulfilment to my entire family, we were all happy and believed our dreams had finally come to pass but to our greatest surprise, he was denied the employment”

A bus conductor has been captured challenging a police officer who could not afford his transport fare.

The conductor urged the policeman to come down from his vehicle and refused to accept the money he was offering but the officer refused.

Other drivers around had to intervene and plead with the officer to leave the car before he finally agreed to exit.

The video stirred some reactions with netizens wondering why the conductor was so rude to an officer of the law while others opined that the police officer had no right to impose his authority on another man’s source of income.

The little girl attended her school’s graduation party heavily glammed up with false lashes and colorful nails.

In the viral video, she’s seen sitting with her classmates, who were all wearing graduation garb.

The video has sparked outrage online as netizens slammed the girl’s mother. The fake nails and lashes, in the opinion of many, were unnecessary burdens for a child and inappropriate.

A Nigerian man has taken to social media to declare his love for his wife, whom he claims cheated on him twice.

The man, identified as @teekayksuh, revealed he forgave his wife after catching her cheating on him twice and that they are still happily married.

He made this revelation while reacting to a Twitter user who questioned why it is so difficult for Christian men to forgive their spouses’ infidelity yet wives pray for their husbands when they cheat.

“Christian women have been sentenced to WAR ROOM for years to pray for cheating men but the moment a Christian man catches his wife cheating. he divorces her. Can’t he pray too? Can’t he bind the demons that want to destroy his home? Or has God stopped hating divorce?” The tweet read.

Reacting, the man said that cheating is not a big deal and revealed that he is still very much in love with his wife, who has cheated on him twice.

Meanwhile, a relationship coach has averred that a man never really forgives a cheating partner, even if he claims he has.

According to the relationship therapist, John Doe, it’s impossible for a man to forgive a woman he caught cheating on him. He opined that although the man might act like he’s forgiven the lady, when they get married he’ll use the incident to taunt her.

He urged women in such situations never to consider settling down with such men, as they will eventually regret it.
