Big Brother Naija level-up winner, Phyna Otabor, has taken to social media to mark her win one month after emerging as the winner of the reality show.

In a lengthy post marking her one-month Big Brother Naija win anniversary, Phyna, who made history as the second female winner of the reality show, noted that the victory has been “a stepping stone to success in her life.”

She stated that she’s a work in progress and that one day she will become what her fans have always wished for.

“Bring Ifeanyi to my church, he’ll come back to life” – Prophet tells Davido

A Nigerian clergyman, identified as Christian Shola, has declared that Ifeanyi, the late son of singer Davido, is a destiny child and would be brought back to life if brought to his church.

In a public message to the grieving parents, the prophet asked that Ifeanyi not be buried yet but that his body should be taken to his church, “solution ground,” within 21 hours from when he passed the message.

“I am Prophet Christian Shola, please don’t bury that boy yet, he is a destiny child. take Ifeanyi Adeleke to Solution Ground on or before 21hrs after this message and see what will happen, God of of solution can never fail (2king5v10). Olórun Christian Shola Agbayé”, he wrote on Twitter.

The prophet’s message has, however, elicited varying reactions from Nigerians on social media. While the majority accused him of chasing clout, others urged the singer to take his advice and believe in God for a miracle.

Reacting, a Twitter user @emmofi wrote, “You’re chasing clout with the death of an innocent child????? Omg God will judge you Omashola. Even changed name thinking we won’t recognize him. Fake guy.”

Another Twitter user @de__dave wrote, “Many people don’t believe in miracles but in life there is no harm in trying, don’t blame him if it doesn’t work but let’s be positive and give a try”.

Davido’s son, Ifeanyi, died on Monday, October 31 after he drowned in a swimming pool in the singer’s Banana Island home.

A viral video has captured a Nigerian lady guessed to be a staunch fan of Davido crying bitterly over the death of the singer’s three-year-old son, Ifeanyi.

Nigerians have continued to express sadness over the tragic death of Davido’s son with his fiancée, Ifeanyi, who passed away on Monday night, October 31, at the tender age of 3.

The little boy is said to have drowned in a swimming pool at his father’s residence and was rushed to the hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival.

Many people were devastated by the tragic news, and a video of a woman sobbing vehemently at the news made its way to the internet and is currently making the rounds online.

The now-viral video shows the fan sobbing uncontrollably on the floor and calling the boy’s name between wails.

Popular Nigerian singer, Made Kuti has proposed to his girlfriend, Inedoye Adanne Onyenso, and she said a resounding YES!.

Made, one of the grandsons of late Afrobeat legend, Fela Kuti, and son of Femi Kuti, took to his Instagram page to break news of his engagement on Monday, November 1.

He shared a picture of Inedoye flaunting her engagement ring and wrote,

Nigerian singer, Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, better known as Skales, has shared a snippet of a diss track he recorded targeted at his wife, Hasanity.

Skales and his wife, who got married in 2021, are guessed to currently be at odds after he called her out a few days ago for mourning his late mother, shared a string of cryptic messages about his mental health, and advised people against marrying a heartless person.

Precious had taken to her Instagram page to express sadness over the death of her mother-in-law, but the singer was not impressed by that, and he asked her to stop pretending for the gram and take down the photo because she never showed sympathy in real life.

Only a few days later, Skales has now released a diss track at his wife, giving some insight into what happened in their marriage.

Skales said in the diss track that he is married to the devil, which is something he never thought would happen to him.

His words,

Married policewoman accuses her superior of stripping and beating her up because she turned down his advances (video)

A married police officer has accused one of her superiors of stripping her naked and assaulting her because she turned down his advances.

Speaking in a video shared online, the policewoman who identified her attacker as one Ajayi Matthew, said he beat her up in the presence of their colleagues and other civilians.

She showed the bruises and marks on her hand and body and said he inflicted the injuries on her because she refused to give in to his advances.

According to the officer, she explained to him that she can’t date him because she is a married woman, but he took offence and became extremely violent.

She also claimed he pulled out his gun and threatened to kill her for rejecting his advances.

The Orangun of Oke-Ila in Osun State, Oba Adedokun Abolarin, has sent his condolence to singer Davido over the death of his son, Ifeanyi.

The monarch, in a comment shared via his Facebook page, said he is deeply saddened by the three-year-old’s demise who died after drowning in the swimming pool in his father’s Banana Island home in Lagos.

He said he is deeply hurt because Davido’s late mom, Veronica Adeleke, saved his own son from drowning about 25 years ago, but sadly there was no one to save her own grandson when he was in the same position.

According to him, he can’t question God over the tragic incident and prayed for the toddler’s soul to rest in peace. He went on to describe Davido’s late mom as a good woman.

Oba Adedokun wrote,

“So sad, it was David’s mummy, late Dr Veronica Adeleke that rescued my own son inside the swimming pool some twenty five years ago. I am sad, what Veronica did for my son years back nobody, I mean nobody to play that same role for Veronica’s grandson, Ifeanyi!!! A heartbroken Nigerian man, simply identified as Ayo, has tearfully revealed he’s still yet to get over a heartbreak he suffered last year.

The young man, a realtor, narrated in a video he shared on social media how he was dumped by a lady he loved so much in 2021.

He claims that despite a year having passed since the event that left him completely heartbroken, he has still not moved in.

Ayo became quite emotional at one point in the video and struggled to hold back his tears as he pondered whether he would ever experience true love after the heartbreaking event.

The man had earlier taken to Twitter to reveal that he received an email from the thief, who was ‘kind enough’ to attach a copy of the project he was working on. He also told him to reach out if he needs any other documents from the laptop before he sells it to an available buyer.

After sharing the email online, it quickly went viral and netizens advised him to contact the thief and offer to buy the laptop back, instead of selling it off to another buyer.

He took the advise and sent an email to the robber, offering to purchase the laptop from him. They then agreed on a price, and a date and time was set for the exchange.

The man however received a rude shock when he was jumped by the thief at their meetup point and was robbed again. He said his phone and money was taken from him.

The Lagos state police command has released six and detained two of singer Davido’s eight domestic staff that were initially invited for questioning over the singer’s 3-year-old son, Ifeanyi’s death.

YabaleftOnline reported yesterday that eight domestic staff working as minders to Davido’s son, Ifeanyi, were invited to the station to give their own account of what happened. Read here.

The command’s spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, who confirmed this to newsmen, said,

“Domestic staff at Davido’a home have been taken to the station to give their own account of what happened. I wouldn’t call that arrest yet. If after they all give their own account of what happened and after preliminary investigations, if anyone of them is found culpable, the person will now be placed under arrest”.

In an updated development, a source revealed that following serious interrogation, six of the domestic staff have been released while the chef and the nanny have been detained.

“Nanny was with Ifeanyi and the Chef came to join them. The Nanny was said to have moved slightly away to receive a call.

When she returned, she couldn’t find Ifeanyi and assumed he was with the Chef but the Chef said he had left Ifeanyi with her. They began to frantically look for Ifeanyi all over the house for close to 20 mins until a security guard spotted him in the pool.” The source said.

Popular investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has claimed that social media big boy, Ramos Abbas Igbalode also known as Hushpuppi has been sentenced to prison.

Although the United States District Court hasn’t confirmed his sentence for the Central District of California which had slated the sentence for 3rd November, Kemi has however given an update.

The controversial journalist, took to twitter to announce Hushpuppi was sentenced to 11 years imprisonment in a federal prison in the United States.

In her words;

”UPDATE Just like I predicted 10-15yrs, Hushpuppi is sentenced to 11 yrs in US federal prison. He will spend 9 yrs less the two years spent. Once released he will be deported to Nigeria or file asylum in as he claims DCP Kyari will harm him and his family.”

In related news, Hushpuppy’s verified Instagram account with 2.8 million followers has been deactivated amidst his ongoing trial in the United States.

Recall that the famous yahoo boy was extradited from Dubai in 2020 and his trial had since been postponed for the final hearing more than twice.

The sentencing was initially moved by Judge Wright from February 14 to July 11, 2022, before shifting it to September 21 and now November 7.

In a recent development, the 2.8 million followers page of Hushpuppi has, however, disappeared from the image-sharing platform.
It’s uncertain if this was officially taken down by Instagram or if the page is temporarily disabled by someone with access to the page.

Emma Sheppard, 42, from Blackpool, England, ended things with her husband of 18 years in 2020. According to Emma, her busy life as a wife had left her unhappy.

Two years later, Emma says she has turned her life around. The mum-of-two joined a gym and ditched junk food, instead eating healthy meals she cooks at home.

She also started going out again and set up an account on Tinder. Emma revealed she has since received loads of attention from men.

She said: “I looked old empty and drained, but now I’m living my best life. I’m happy and I look completely different.”

Emma, who tied the knot in 2000 at aged 22, said: “I’d married for life. It was him, the girls and work. I felt I’d got it all sorted.”

But the relationship started to dwindle several years ago and her husband then moved out in January 2021, and the divorce was finalised in October of that year.

“It was really bad after he left, it really broke me. I felt worthless – I was having panic attacks,” she admitted.

“I had no confidence in myself and was so isolated. I was just existing, working to pay the bills and just getting through.

“One day I woke up and thought, ‘You come from a family of strong women, you are free and you can make a difference in your life’.

“I realised I can be so much more. It was like a force from somebody watching over me.”

First, she gave her wardrobe an overhaul. She also started wearing makeup and cut her 20-a-day smoking habit to just four.

She started going to the gym for weights and cardio five times a week.

Emma says she also switched up her eating habits, replacing egg and chips and bacon sandwiches with chicken pasta and homemade bolognaise.

She said: “Everything about me is completely different now.

“People say I look incredible compared to before, and I think it’s because I’m so happy inside.

“The oddest thing is that I really believed I was happy when we were married.

“I realise now I was emotionally detached then because I was so worried about looking after everyone.

“Now I just smile all the time. And this is just the beginning.”

Emma does not have a new partner yet, but is looking for love on Tinder.

She said: “It was funny to get hit on by that Love Island guy. I didn’t recognise him at first but I thought, ‘My type on paper’.

“I worked it out when we talked over Snapchat and I saw videos of him. He was messaging saying how pretty I was and that I don’t look like 42.

“It was very flattering, and a shock, and quite funny.”

A Nigerian chef and restaurant consultant, Ladipo Ayodeji, has revealed that he hurriedly married his wife in court before the Ooni of Ife will have his eyes on her.

He said he is doing this in solidarity with the Adelekes following the passing of Davido’s son, Ifeanyi Adeleke Jnr on Monday night.

The pastor’s birthday party is an annual event he holds in the United Kingdom and is usually strictly by invitation.

Adegboyega said that the party would no longer take place on the 11th of November 2022 as scheduled and gave details on how people who had bought tickets for the forthcoming worship program can retrieve their money.

The UK-based clergyman took to Instagram to share a video of himself making the announcement as he also sent out his prayers to the Adelekes and families who are mourning worldwide.

”It’s a sad time, very sad, but we must stand in faith and hope for the sake of the bereaved.
We are broken.” he posted.

Big brother Naija star, Ka3na the bosslady shared what happened when she spanked her daughter in London.

The reality tv star said she smacked her daughter after the young child abruptly ran into the road while they were at Dalston market in London in a post uploaded on her Instagram story.

According to her, the reactions and stares from everyone in the market were something out of a movie but she would not let that stop her.

She said:

“I spanked @lila_bosslady today for running into the road and the whole Dalston market stood still like I was shooting a blockbuster movie.
“See ehn, I must train my child the way my mama train me, this country can’t tell me otherwise.”

The hype lady turned reality TV star, who broke down in a video she shared on Snapchat, said her fans, popularly known as Phynation, have caused her more harm than good.

Nigerian model, Afeez Savage has addressed Nigerians mourning the loss of Davido’s son, Ifeanyi.

The death of the young child brought out sympathy for the parents from a lot of Nigerians and many have been sending prayers to them, Afeez however did not agree with this show of support.

He took to his Instagram live to share his thoughts on the grief people are currently expressing.

According to him, Nigerians are only this concerned about Ifeanyi’s death because he is a rich man’s son and would not bat an eyelid if he was not.

In his words,

“If you feel for Davido, don’t feel for only Davido’s child, feel for every Nigerian child that died because they cannot eat or because their parents cannot pay their medical bills. Feel for every human being that loses their life. Stop making a choice of who you extend your humanity towards. Love everybody, feel bad for everybody so we can do something about it.
If na poor man pikin you disconnect yourself from it and feel like it’s none of your business but if it’s a rich child, everyone wants to act as if they care.”

Following the death of Davido and his fiancée, Chioma’s son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, the presidential aspirants of the three major political parties in Nigeria have taken to social media to sympathize with the couple.

Recall that the three-year-old passed away on Monday, October 31, after drowning in a swimming pool in the singer’s Banana Island home in Lagos.

Reacting to the tragic news, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu took to Twitter to send his condolences to the celebrity couple on behalf of himself and his wife, Remi Tinubi.

He wrote, “Oluremi and I send our heartfelt and deepest condolences to David, Chioma, and the entire Adeleke family over the tragic loss of their son, Ifeanyi. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. May the Lord grant them the fortitude and strength to deal with this painful tragedy.”

Peter Obi, a former governor of Anambra state and the Presidential Aspirant of Labour Party, on his part wrote,

“I send my sincere condolences to Davido and Chioma, over the death of their son Ifeanyi. I cannot begin to imagine the pains they are going through at the moment. May God grant them healing, strength and comfort in this trying time. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.-PO”

Former Vice President and the Presidential aspirant of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, who also reacted to the tragic news wrote,

“My thoughts and prayers are with Davido and Chioma and the Adeleke family at this time. I pray for God to strengthen and comfort them. -AA”

Photos showing Migos rapper Takeoff’s last moments before he was shot dead in Houston are making the rounds online.

It was earlier reported that the 28-year-old rapper was gunned down in the Texas city on Tuesday, November 1.

Takeoff is said to have been playing a dice game with his bandmate Quavo when a fight broke out at the bowling alley, 810 Billiards & Bowling, at 2.30am on Tuesday. Read here.

Photos and videos shared online show the rapper laying in a pool of his own blood as people surround him in confusion and distortion.

Meanwhile, the last photo Takeoff posted on his Instagram Stories before his death was shared with the audio to the song titled “Stop Breathing” by Playboi Carti.

Other photos showing the singer’s last moments before the incident that has now gone viral showed him smoking outside the venue; another showed him (in a white t-shirt) playing dice with Quavo (red t-shirt), and others said to be family and friends.

A fan also took a photo with Takeoff and shared it on Instagram during the night out – that is believed to be the last photo he posed for.

The young beauty, lifestyle and fashion influencer took to her Instagram stories to mourn the demise of her kid sister.

Although she didn’t state the nature of the young one’s death, she shared images of herself with her younger sibling and questioned death.

In related news, Davido’s three-year-old son with his fiancée, Chioma, died on Monday, October 31st after he drowned in a swimming pool at his dad’s residence in the Banana Island area of Lagos State.

Ifeanyi was rushed to Evercare Hospital in Lekki where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

The couple had traveled for a family gathering to Ibadan yesterday and had left Ifeanyi with his minders who can’t explain how he entered the pool without being noticed and drowned.

We gathered that quite a number of people at Davido’s House when the incident happened have been arrested.

A distraught and inconsolable Davido was removed from Evercare Hospital and taken to his father’s house where he remains as at press time.

Nigerian singer and music executive, Olamide, has condoled with his colleague, Davido, on the tragic passing of his son, Ifeanyi.

DMW boss, Davido, and his family are currently in mourning following the death of their son, Ifeanyi, who just turned three a few days ago. Little Ifeanyi died late Monday, October 31st after he drowned in a swimming pool in his father’s Banana Island home.

Taking to his Instagram story moments ago, YBNL boss, Olamide, sympathized with the bereaved singer.

Olamide prayed for divine strength for Davido to pull through this very dark time.

“I wish you divine strength to overcome these dark times, my brother,” Olamide wrote.

British-Nigerian professional boxer, Anthony Joshua has said he will be taking a short-hiatus from boxing so that he can rest mentally.

This is coming after his back-to-back loss to Ukrainian boxer, Oleksandr Usyk, in August where he lost the bid to win back his world titles.

After the rematch fight in Saudi Arabia, Joshua went on a weird rant in the ring which he later apologized for. He said his bizarre behavior showed how much the fight meant to him and he has been advised to take a break from boxing for the sake of his mental health.
