An unfortunate incident was caught on camera in Oko Oba, Agege, Lagos as a commerical bike rider was swept away by flood after he refused to let go of his bike and save himself.

The video shows the man riding a bike with two passengers behind him as he tries to drive through the flooded street.

The first passenger then decides to save himself and he jumped down from the bike as it entered deeper into the water. Shortly after, the second passenger falls from the bike into the water but he stood up.

However, the bike rider continued driving through the flooded street before the flood current was too strong for man and machine and it started sweeping them away.

As the water carried the man away, he refused to let go of his bike to save himself.

Spectators are heard screaming for the man to leave the bike.

A Nigerian man has taken to his social media page to share the amazing testimony of how his Aunty miraculously became a mother-of-three after 13 years of marriage.

According to Twitter user @zuwerah_, the couple had been married for 12 years and they finally settled for surrogacy in the 13th year. However, his aunty then got pregnant as well as the surrogate and the couple ended up with triple bundles of joy.

Apostle Johnson Suleman has replied to claims from a police officer, Sheyi Peters, who called him out and insinuated he may have used the officers who died for ritual.

Rev. Fr. Kelvin Ugwu has reacted to the comment Apostle Suleman made after surviving an assassination attempt that killed seven members of his escort team.

The apostle said that his life was in God’s hands and he could not be killed. This statement did not sit well with Fr. Kelvin who thought he was being insensitive and not thinking about the lives of his staff that were lost.

“I have always said it here, when giving testimonies, be sensitive. Don’t use other people’s misfortune to elevate your own story.
In their bid to assassinate you, seven persons were killed and you are like “my life is in the hands of God, nobody can kill me.”
Well, I will not thank God that you survived the assassination, I will rather thank God that you admitted to knowing those that were behind the assassination and shooting.
I call on the police and the government to take it up from there. The lives of those seven persons matter so much. The minister’s life is not more valuable than theirs. A full investigation should be opened immediately until those behind the shooting are arrested and giving what they deserve by law.
And for those working closely with the minister, I will advice you take necessary precaution because it seems he knows somethings that are capable of putting you at risk, which you may not be aware of.”

Immigration authorities in the United Arab Emirates have enforced a visa ban on Nigerians and are currently refusing visa applications.

This message was included in a notification sent on Friday, October 21, to the UAE’s business partners in Nigeria, including travel agents.

The United Arab Emirates immigration officials stated that all applications are halted until problems between the UAE government and the Nigerian government are resolved, yet no explanation for the visa restriction was provided.

The notice read:
“All Dubai applications submitted are now rejected. It is general for Nigerians and approvals are on hold at the moment.
Kindly advise your clients to resubmit C2=A0 applications when the issue is resolved between both governments.”

A source from the travel agency Wakanow reportedly verified the information to Punch. The source reported;

“It is true, it was issued yesterday. The Dubai immigration did not state when the ban would be lifted but for now, everything is on hold.”

However, an Air Peace customer service agent claimed that the airline continues to transport passengers to Dubai who already possess a valid visa. The official further stated that any modifications to the flight schedule for Nigerians would be properly announced.

A Nigerian man living ‘in the abroad’ has taken to his social media page to cry out after he failed his Driver’s assessment test for the third time in less than a month.

According to @dammytomato, he failed his last assessment test because of parallel parking.
