A young lady has advised her fellow woman on the dangers of being in a relationship where both parties are broke, a situation she refers to as “Double Poverty”.
The lady took to her social media page to share a video of herself warning women who are broke not to date a guy who is also broke. She insinuates that nothing good can come out of such arrangement.
She’s heard saying,
“Ladies, double poverty does not make sense. If you are broke, if you are poor, if you are in poverty, you cannot date someone who is also in poverty. It doesn’t make sense”
She then asserts that if ladies should indulge in such situation, it would only result in them leading a much harder life than when they were just single and poor.
She goes on to emphasize the importance of not indulging in double poverty and addressed men who claim that if a lady is broke, she as well shouldn’t be looking for a man with money.
The lady says the opposite is the case as a broke lady should be the one in dire need of a man who has money.
A groom landed himself in the hospital on his wedding night following his attempt to serenade his new bride — an action which unfortunately caused him to dislocate his elbow.
A video which was shared online by wedding videographer, Tom Healy shows the Australian man identified as Adam Quinn telling his new wife, Helen he loves her “very much,” before deciding to show her through some wild dancing.
The clip then shows Adam running in a circle amongst his friends before he dramatically falls on his shoulder. The video then cuts to him being carried on a stretcher as he was taken to the hospital by paramedics.
Bride, Helen shared a photo of her in hospital with her groom and wrote: “In sickness and in health #weddingday.”
Helen said that she and her new husband dealt with the “in sickness” part of their wedding vows only hours after exchanging them, as a result of some spilled beer.
“He came out to me and he was as white as a ghost,” she told Australian news site 7News.
“He told me that he thought he had broken his arm. It turned out he had dislocated his elbow,” she explained, saying they snuck out of the reception to get help.
“It’s pretty embarrassing and I get a little triggered looking at the photos and watching the video,” she admitted.
According to the groom, his unfortunate accident was a result of trying to be romantic.
“I was singing a classic love song, I thought it was really romantic,” he explained in the clip as he lay in a hospital bed with his shoulder strapped.
“But then I took a spill on a Corona! I think I’ve dislocated my elbow,” he said.

The Chief Medical Director at Kaiama General Hospital, Kwara State, Dr Adio Adeyemi Adebowale, who allegedly killed four people in the space of one year, had posted pictures of himself and his family two months before his arrest.
It was earlier reported that Adeyemi, an indigene of Offa, Kwara State, was arrested by the Edo State Police Command after he killed a cab driver in Benin City, Edo state, dumped his corpse in the bush, and absconded with his vehicle.
Adeyemi, who has been dubbed a ‘serial killer’, also confessed that he kidnapped and murdered his girlfriend, Ifeoluwa, who was declared missing in Tanke area of Kwara state in 2021.
An investigation was launched into the gruesome murders and in the process, the decomposing remains of two women were found in his office.
One of the women was found inside a shallow grave dug in his office while the corpse of the second woman was found in a garbage bin. While the former is yet to be identified, the latter was identified as a housewife, Nafisat, who was declared missing by her husband.
Before the suspect’s gory activities were brought to light, he was leading a normal life and even shared pictures of himself with his wife and son on Facebook.
In one of the pictures he shared in July, the suspect donned a brown Kaftan and was complimented by his unsuspecting followers.
Andrea Ekeng Inyang, the Special Assistant on Strategic Communication to Akwa Ibom state Governor, Ben Ayade, has advised men against marrying women who drink beer in public.
Taking to his Facebook page to give this advice, Inyang asserted that any man who marries a woman who drinks alcohol publicly can never have a peaceful marriage.
According to him, such women are troublesome and will only bring problems to a man’s life.
“Don’t marry any woman that sits in public to drink Gulder beer. You won’t find peace in that marriage.” he wrote.

A young nursing mother with no hands has earned online admiration after using her mouth to feed her baby.
The young mother, who is physically challenged with her hands amputated, used her mouth to spoon-feed her little boy.
In a viral video, the mother is seen holding the spoon between her lips as she scoops some food onto it, dips it in her baby’s meal, and then places it in his mouth.
Reacting to the touching clip, Nigerians on social media praised the mother for going above and beyond to care for her kid in spite of her condition.

Since moving to the United Kingdom with his family, the Benin-born man said he has had to humble himself and take on the responsibility of nursing their baby while his wife is at work.

A video showing the moment a young Nigerian man met his sudden death while playing football with his friends in China has been shared online.
The tragic incident reportedly took place during a friendly match in Quanzhou Fujian province, China, on Wednesday, September 28.
In the trending clip, the deceased, whose name was given as Kosi a.k.a Kizzy, was running on the pitch when he suddenly slumped and fell to the ground.
When he failed to stand up, his friends thought he was pulling a prank on them and started making jokes. One was heard saying “don’t mind this man” while another said “no dey joke na”.
Another man, who urged Kosi to stand up, jokingly asked if they should offer him a liquor, Hennesy, as life continued to slip away from his body.
Sadly, the young man said to be a student was pronounced dead on arrival after he was taken to a hospital.

Popular Nollywood star, Charles Okocha , has stated that he’s thankful that he did not reject pregnancies he had out of wedlock.
The actor stated this in an interview with Punch while reflecting on his journey through fatherhood.
Charles Okocha, who shares two children, a son and a daughter, with two different women, said having them was a blessing even though he suggested abortion at the time of pregnancy because he wasn’t ready to be a father.
He narrated how he asked his girlfriend to abort his daughter when she found out that she was pregnant. Thankfully, his mother stepped in and took care of everything.
“I guess having those kids was a blessing, even if it was out of wedlock and I never wanted them. It wasn’t something I wanted at that time. I even suggested abortion to my girlfriend when she told me that she was pregnant, I won’t lie. I did that but I owned up to my action of getting her pregnant and I never disputed for once.
I suggested that because I wasn’t prepared or ready for that but she went ahead to tell her mum about it and when my mum eventually got to know about the situation, she took her (my girlfriend) in and took good care of her until she was delivered of my baby. My mum took care of everything for my daughter and it was the same for my son. They had no reason to lack. I don’t only take care of my kids, I also take care of their mothers.
“Because I take good care of my baby-mamas (the mothers of my children), they had no reason to come to say any wrong about me. We communicate well and one of them is even married now. Marriage was not a very thing at that point.
“She moved on because she felt she wasn’t getting any younger at that point and it’s okay but what I won’t accept is having another man take up my responsibility. That’s why I work very hard and do things to put food on the table and make my kids live a better life.” He said.
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has busted a mansion in the Lekki area of Lagos State where over 13 million Tramadol pills were stored.
The agency’s spokesman, Femi Babafemi, who made this revelation in a social media post on Monday, said the mansion belonged to a drug lord, who has now been arrested and detained.
Babafemi said the agency recovered over 13 million pills of Tramadol 225mg from the mansion.
“Another VGC drug bust! As massive and beautiful as this mansion located in highbrow VGC Lekki Lagos (pictured here) looks, it’s not occupied by humans but used to warehouse over 13 million pills of Tramadol 225mg by another billionaire drug baron now in custody of @ndlea_nigeria. Details coming in a statement shortly.” Babafemi wrote on Twitter.
This comes after the agency busted a warehouse in the Ikorodu area of the state where cocaine was stored.
The cocaine seized from the warehouse located in a secluded estate in Ikorodu, is worth more than Two Hundred and Seventy-Eight Million, Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Dollars ($278, 250,000), equivalent to about One Hundred and Ninety-Five Billion, Seven Hundred and Seventy-Five Million (N194, 775,000,000) Naira in street value.

Okafor Emmanuel Junior, a former football player, was apprehended by agents from the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Ikeja, Lagos, when he arrived from Sao Paulo, Brazil, via Addis Abeba on a flight operated by Ethiopian Airlines with 1.40kg of crack cocaine hidden in his bags.
The agency’s spokesperson, Femi Babafemi, said in a statement on Sunday, October 2, that the 33-year-old native of Arochukwu Local Government in Abia State was apprehended on Monday, September 26, 2022, after anti-narcotic officers found he had hidden the illegal substance in the handles of his bags and had padded the top edges of those bags with the class A drug.
Okafor revealed during the preliminary interview that he was a former footballer with the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, UNTH Enugu FC, where he played for four seasons before leaving for Sri Lanka in 2014.
He also stated that after playing for two seasons in Sri Lanka, he moved to Brazil but was unable to advance his football career due to a lack of official documents.

The Nigerian Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has released a photo of the billionaire drug baron who used his Lagos mansion to store 13 million tramadol pills.
It was earlier reported that the Nigerian Anti-Narcotics Agency busted a mansion in the Lekki area of Lagos State where over 13 million Tramadol pills were stored.
The agency’s spokesman, Femi Babafemi, who made this revelation in a statement released on Monday, said that the drug recovered in the mansion had a street value of N8.8billion.
In the statement, Babafemi confirmed that the mansion belonged to a billionaire drug baron identified as Ugochukwu Nsofor Chukwukadibia, the chairman of Autonation Motors Ltd., who is now in custody.
Preliminary investigation shows that he has about six mansions within the VGC, one of which he uses to warehouse the tramadol consignment, while he lives in the one at Plot Z-130 Road 67 and another as his office.
Ugochukwu’s arrest came barely two months after NDLEA uncovered a methamphetamine clandestine laboratory in the residence of another drug kingpin in the estate, Chris Emeka Nzewi.
“No less than Thirteen Million, Four Hundred and Fifty One Thousand, Four Hundred and Sixty Six (13,451,466) pills of Tramadol 225mg worth Eight Billion Eight Hundred and Sixty Million Naira (N8,860,000,000) in street value have been recovered by operatives of the National Drug Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, from one of the mansions of a billionaire drug baron, Ugochukwu Nsofor Chukwukadibia, in the highbrow residential estate, Victoria Garden City, Lekki area of Lagos.
The arrest of Ugochukwu who is the Chairman of Autonation Motors Ltd is coming barely two months after NDLEA uncovered a methamphetamine clandestine laboratory in the residence of another drug kingpin in the estate, Chris Emeka Nzewi, who was arrested on Saturday 30th July along with a chemist, Sunday Ukah, who cooked the illicit drug for him. At least, 258.74 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine and various precursor chemicals used for the production of the toxic drug were recovered from Nzewis home during his arrest.
Following credible intelligence, NDLEA operatives on Friday 30th September stormed the Plot A45 Road 2 home of the 52-year-old billionaire drug kingpin. A search of the expansive mansion led to the discovery of 443 cartons of Tramadol Hydrochloride 225mg, which contains 13, 451, 466 pills of the drug while some cartons were already burnt in a fire incident in the house same day.
Before his arrest, Ugochukwu who hails from Ihiala local government area of Anambra state has been on the Agencys watch list as one of those behind the tramadol drug cartel in Nigeria. Preliminary investigation shows that he has about six mansions within the VGC, one of which he uses to warehouse the tramadol consignment, while he lives in the one at Plot Z-130 Road 67 and another as his office. Five exotic vehicles have also been located in two of his mansions, out of which two SUVs including a bullet jeep have been successfully removed to the Agencys facility.
Reacting to the latest drug haul, Chairman/Chief Executive of NDLEA, Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (Retd) commended the officers and men involved in the operation for their diligence while also appreciating Nigerians for supporting the Agency in its arduous task of ridding the country of the menace of drug abuse and illicit drug trafficking.
According to him, Ill like to reassure Nigerians and other stakeholders wherever they are located across the country and beyond of our preparedness to work with them on this onerous task of saving our people from the drug scourge. This partnership is a further warning to the drug barons and cartels that there is no hiding place for them anymore, because we remain on their trail and well always get them.” The statement read.

Charles Chukwuma Onwuemelie, a 29-year-old resident of Quartz Hill was arrested on the 23rd of September for allegedly committing 68 robberies just 5 months after hosting a very extravagant wedding in the United state
According to investigations, a total of 68 armed business robberies have been linked to the same suspect since October of 2021. It is reported that the Robberies took place throughout Los Angeles County and the City of Los Angeles.
During their investigation, detectives discovered that the suspect frequently covered the handgun used in the robberies at gas stations, 7-11s, and Walmart’s with a blue cloth. The suspect would disguise himself by wearing various hats, a face mask, and rubber gloves. The same vehicle was used in many of the robberies, and several factors led to the identification of the same suspect.
Charles Chukwuma Onwuemelie was arrested at his residence. Evidence further linking him to the robberies was also recovered at scene, including a firearm.
On September 27, the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office filed 16 counts of 211 P.C. – Robbery, for the robberies that occurred in the City of Los Angeles.

A Nigerian woman has taken to social media to express her excitement after finding a £5 note in a pair of jeans she bought from the market.
The lady, simply identified as Omotoyosi on Twitter, said she had gotten the jeans a month ago and found the pound note with the late Queen Elizabeth’s image in the pocket when she tried to wear them on Sunday.

The doctor was earlier arrested for the murder of a cab driver, Emmanuel Yobo Agbovinuere, and absconding with his vehicle in Edo state. He also confessed to killing his girlfriend, named Ifeoluwa, who was declared missing in Ilorin in 2021.
The doctor, who has been labelled a ‘serial killer’, is the Chief Medical Director of Kaiama General Hospital in Ilorin.
After he was arrested for the murder of the cab driver in Edo state, a high-powered investigation was launched into the case of a missing woman, identified as Nofisat Halidu, in Ilorin.

During investigation, the police forced open the door of the doctor’s office and found a suspicious sight – a freshly cemented portion of the tiled floor. The floor was broken and the decomposed body of a yet-to-be identified woman was found in the shallow grave.
The officers further searched the office and found a trash can where the remains of another woman who was later identified as the missing woman, Nofisat Halidu, was found.
The Kwara State Commissioner of Police has contacted the Edo State Police command to release the suspect to the Kwara State Police Command for further questioning and investigation.

Recall that Groovy had a brewing romance with Beauty before she was booted out of the show for violating the house rule.
Following her exit, Amaka indicated interest in Groovy because he was now single and not attached to any female housemate in the house.
She also opened up about her feelings to Phyna who encouraged her to pursue a relationship with him.
However, before long, Phyna and Groovy became an item and grabbed every opportunity to display their love for each other.
Well, Amaka has now opened up on how she felt about Phyna and Groovy’s relationship in a post-eviction interview with Lagos Talks.
The 23-year-old disclosed that she felt betrayed because she sent Phyna to speak to Groovy in her favour but rather, she changed the narrative and told him she was interested in another male housemate, Giddyfia.

The first-time dad said his father-in-law came to the UK to visit him and his wife after they welcomed their baby, and he has been helping out with the baby.
According to him, his father-in-law bathes their baby, feeds him, changes his diapers and occasionally helps with the dishes.

An Akwa-Ibom-based clergyman has reportedly been suspended from the church for allowing a political party to hold a thanksgiving service in his branch.
Popular Nollywood actor, Moses Armstrong, made this disclosure in a Facebook post on Sunday night, October 2nd. He, however, did not mention the pastor’s name or church affected.
“A pastor is suspended for allowing a certain political party to hold her thanksgiving in his branch. Hummm. Christianity in the mud I cant even comprehend.” Armstrong wrote.
His Facebook followers, who confirmed the news in his comments, noted that the incident happened in an Apostolic church branch in Akwa-Ibom.
In related news, the Catholic Diocese of Gboko in Benue State suspended Reverend Father, Hycainth Alia, for expressing interest in the governorship contest of the state.
The Catholic priest is among the 12 governorship aspirants who purchased expression of interest and nomination forms of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to participate in the party’s primary election.
In response, the Priest was suspended because his decision to join the Governorship race goes against the Church’s rule on partisan politics.

Popular Nigerian singer, Davido went to church for the first time in three years today with his lover and son’s mother, Chioma Rowland.
This is just a few days after the singer’s logistic manager, Isreal DMW, revealed their reunion in a post.
Davido revealed on his Instagram story that he went to church for the first time in three years and from the post, it was quite Obvious that Chioma was with him.
The photo Davido shared led his friends and fans to believe that Chioma was the major motivation for him to go back to Church.
Soso Soberekon, a popular socialite, also had the same sentiment and he took to the comment section to praise Chioma for leading the brother back to God.

Award-winning movie producer, Kunle Afolayan has recounted how his late father, Adeyemi Afolayan otherwise known as Adelove, discouraged him and his siblings from delving into the movie industry.
Kunle, whose father was one of the pioneers of film-making in Nigeria and has three siblings in Nollywood, in a recent interview, disclosed that his father wanted them to pursue other careers because film-making was not lucrative in his time.
The ace film-maker however said he was hellbent on becoming a movie producer because he saw a gap in the industry that he wanted to fill.
Speaking about his father, the 48-year-old actor said,
“He said there was no money. Just go and be a lawyer.
“My father completely discouraged any of us from going into acting or filmmaking. He said do you want to be running around like I’m running around.
“And those were things I learned which helped me structure the business side of what I do because I don’t want to end up like them.
“I remember after he passed then Nollywood came and then I would see these films with beautiful stories then I would be comparing them to the film of my dad and Ogunde with the production quality but how come the audio is bad, how come the makeup is lousy, how can we do and this and I said ok I want to be a filmmaker, I never said I wanted to be an actor.
“I went to Tade Ogidan and he said ok when we have something I will call you.
“I also went to Tunde Kilani, he said who are you to say you want to make a film?
“That your dad was a filmmaker doesn’t make you one, you have to learn it. Go to school and complete your education and then when they wanted to do ‘Saworo Ide’ in 1998, he called me to come and I auditioned. I played the role eventually but still wanted to make a film.”
