Gospel singer, Tim Godfrey celebrates being healed of paralysis, says doctors told him his bones are 20 years older than his age
Popular Nigerian gospel singer, Tim Godfrey, has narrated his battle with an illness which almost left him paralysed.
The “Na You Be God” crooner, who took to his Instagram page on Wednesday, August 31 to express gratitude to God for healing, said he was diagnosed with an unnamed ailment, which according to doctors, made his bones “20 years older” than his body.
According to him, after he went in for MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging), he was told his bones show he’s over 60-years-old while he’s in his 40s.
He further revealed that he was also told his spinal cord disc had shifted, among other things.
Sharing a video of himself on the sickbed, Godfrey revealed he received complete healing after treatments and intensive prayers.
“This picture right here was when I was admitted in the hospital. It started with me feeling some pain at my back, then a hellish pain in my arms.
I went for an MRI and the scientists told me that my bones were 20 years older than my age—over 60 years old when I’m in my 40s. They also told me that my spinal cord disc had shifted and all these other complicated things all happening to me at the same time.
I was always in pain. Sometimes I would hold my hand to my face and cry so badly. They told me that I had overstretched my body and a lot of other evil reports.
But as the song says when there is a chance for evil, God turns it for good.
I went home after some treatments and intensive prayers believing that I am healed and it is so.Right now I’m really grateful to God for the gift of healing. I imagine the plan of the enemy was that I’ll be paralyzed but God turned it around.
To you reading this, God is turning that situation around for your good. No matter the report of the enemy concerning your life, the report of the lord says – he’s turning everything in your Favour!

Lady forgives her husband but disowns her sister after she caught both of them having coitus
A Nigerian lady has narrated how a woman pardoned her husband for sleeping with her younger sister, but disowned her sister for the same offence.
Taking to Twitter to share the story after the said woman sought her counsel, @Ada_nnempi said the woman caught her husband and her sister having a sex romp.
Out of anger, she cut off her sister and stopped paying her school fee but forgave her husband and is still living with him till date.
Ada, while giving her opinion on the matter, said the husband is to be blamed for sleeping with her sister because he could have easily manipulated her to sleep with him.
She also advised the woman to reconcile with her younger sister because the husband might still cheat with other women, while her sister remains her sister.

Actress Susan Pwajok pays up lingering N90k debt, after she was called out by businessman
A Nigerian businessman has taken to Twitter to call out popular actress and influencer, Susan Pwajok over a lingering N90,000 debt.
In a series of tweets on the micro-blogging platform, the businessman identified as @chowwder claimed that the actress bought a phone and a power bank worth N180K in June, paid half, and promised to pay the balance later.
He claimed that all efforts to reach Susan to get Susan to pay his balance proved abortive until he called her out.
“I think i’ve been patient & understanding for long enough. @pwajok_susan has been owing me a sum of N90,000 since June and has been ghosting me ever since then…… You hit me up telling me how you needed an extra phone urgently wanting to take a break from social media due to mental health reasons and all,stating how you can’t pay me fully instantly and you’d want the payment to be split twice.
I reasoned with all you said and decided to be understanding based on the fact that we’ve done about 3 transactions before and I even came to deliver myself at your house. You bought an xr and a powerbank, total was N180,000 and you paid N90,000 that day promising to balance… the rest the next 2 weeks after that day. I started texting you on all your socials you weren’t responding. Then Daevees claimed he was in charge of your IG account and you had gone off for a while…” He wrote in part.
However, in an updated post, the Twitter user revealed that the actress had paid him his balance after he called her out.
“I’ve gotten my money already everyone, what did it cost her to do this since ????”, he wrote, sharing a screenshot of the credit alert.

Popular Nigerian Comedian/skitmaker, Emmanuel Ogonna Iwueke otherwise known as CrazeClown recently took to his social media page to share his opinion about the lingering corruption in Nigeria.
Speaking on how corruption has eaten deep into the Nigerian System, he averred that almost 80 to 90% of Nigerians have benefitted from corruption even if most won’t admit. He also gave an honest assesment that he has also been a beneficiary of corruption.

Popular Calabar pastor, Bishop Josef Bassey reacts after being criticized for remarrying; says his first wife abandoned him in 2016
Popular Calabar-based pastor, Bishop Josef Bassey has reacted after coming under fire for taking a second wife, whose name was given as Oma Etta.
Bishop Josef, who is the founder and General Overseer of God’s Heritage Centre, Calabar, Cross River State, got married to his former wife, Grace, in 1997, and they have two children together.
However, many were shocked when photos from his traditional wedding to his new wife hit the internet recently. It was also alleged that his first wife left him over infidelity.
The clergyman, via his church secretary, Barr. Melody Irem, has now released a statement refuting the claims on Wednesday, August 31.
He described the reports as “malicious and demonstration of crass ignorance by agents of hell.” He disclosed that his former wife abandoned him since October 2016 and all efforts to reconcile with her failed so they chose to annul the marriage.
Irem also confirmed that the Bishop remarried ‘gloriously, honorably and enviably’ on Wednesday, 24th August 2022′ after six years of ‘undesired singlehood’.

“Our attention has been drawn to an onslaught of malicious, defamatory fabrication of lies, misrepresentation of facts and outright demonstration of crass ignorance aimed at tarnishing the hard-earned image, name and reputation of our highly esteemed and respected man of God, His Lordship, Bishop Josef Bassey.
“Ordinarily, we would have completely ignored it as the Lord whom we serve knows the truth and is the ultimate defender of his own; but so that people of goodwill and good conscience do not get deceived or swayed by this ignominious perpetuation of these agents of Satan obviously doing the bidding of their master, we therefore feel obliged to set the records straight as follows
“1. That the first marriage of our man of God ended since October, 2016 after the former wife abandoned the marriage.
2. That all attempts at mediation and reconciliation through different authorities and persons within and outside the church were rebuffed by her, including those by some of the most highly respected spiritual fathers in the nation and beyond.
3. Consequently, in keeping with native laws and customs, a date was fixed and her family, the family of our man of God and representatives of the church met and formally dissolved the union thereby officially setting both parties free from the marriage covenant.
4. The spiritual fathers and church authorities acting through the Pentecostal college of Bishops, in the light of these developments, and in consideration of other facts unfit and unedifying for public consumption, formally dissolved and nullified the marriage, thereby releasing God’s servant to re-marry if he chose to.
5. It might be necessary to note that the one-time wife of our man of God had since 2016 moved on, reverted to her maiden name as Grace Henshaw and is living her life and doing whatsoever she pleases, where and when she pleases and how she pleases. And rightly so.
6. After six years of dealing with the better imagined than told personal devastations, pains, loneliness, struggles and evil consequences of the actions of his one-time wife, God’s servant, leveraging on wise counsel and divine guidance decided it was time to quit singlehood and give the past a final closure in the best interest of his life, destiny, family and the kingdom.
“He got married gloriously, honorably and enviably on Wednesday, 24th August 2022 in highly celebrated traditional marriage that was witnessed by the church, families, friends, neighbors etc
“God’s servant today, after six years of undesired singlehood, has only one wife. And ONE WIFE only. All suggestions or insinuations to the contrary are lies, evil, deceitful, in bad taste and the handiwork of wicked people.
“Interestingly, we know the perpetuators of this evil campaign. They are the same agents of hell whose attempts in the past years to bring God’s servant down or frustrate the work of God failed woefully.
“They obviously are having heart attack from their serial failures and tangible strength and the grace of God at work in God’s servant making him undeterred and unmoved in his continued demonstrated commitment to the advancement of the kingdom and the cause of God, in spite of the arrows hauled at him
“We therefore call on the Christian community and men of good conscience to ignore the lies, fabrications and misrepresentations as they are intended to hurt the body of Christ and bring the name of our Lord into disrepute, even as we continue in our fight against our common enemy.

My government resolved four-month ASUU Strike in one night – Jonathan
Former President Goodluck Jonathan has disclosed how his government resolved a 4-month lingering strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) in one night.
The former Nigeria Leader made the remark while speaking at the 70th birthday celebration of the Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Bishop Hassan Kukah, on Wednesday August 31, Jonathan recalled how his administration tried to tackle one of such industrial action.
“The society we are managing is quite complex. Yes, I was the president and I tried my best. Now, we are talking about ASUU strike. During my time too, ASUU had four months of strike. Different committees were meeting but nothing was working. I said ‘How can our children stay out of school for four good months?”
So, I had to call a meeting of all the leadership of ASUU. I presided over the meeting with my vice president. The Attorney General was there. I said that that night we must solve the problem. The Attorney General was there; the Secretary to the Government of the Federation was there; the ministers of education were there; the labour ministers were there; the finance ministers and everybody that had to do with it [strike].
And I thought that my being there would help us to do things quickly. But we spent the whole night. We finished like 5:30 am and the strike was called off. So, there were issues,” Jonathan said.

Reality TV star, Nengi’s sister, Chef Tuma, has broken her silence following an alleged report that the BBNaija star’s Range Rover was confiscated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Reports made the rounds earlier that the anti-graft agency confiscated Nengi’s N37M Range Rover that she acquired in 2021.
The whip was allegedly a present from billionaire Micheal Diongoli, who is currently being investigated by the EFCC for alleged fraud.
In the midst of the ongoing controversy, Nengi’s sister, Chef Tuma, expressed regret for pushing her sister to participate in the reality show that catapulted her to fame in an Instagram post.
According to her, Nengi preferred a tranquil life and never wanted to be in the spotlight.

In other news, Big Brother Naija season 5 star, Nengi Rebecca Hampson has reacted after being linked to President Muhammadu Buhari on Twitter.
The drama started when media personality, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, posted Buhari’s admonition to striking lecturers in the country to call off the strike because they are harming the next generation.
“‘Enough is enough. Don’t hurt the next generation for goodness sake.’ President Buhari to ASUU” he tweeted.
In response, a Twitter user lambasted Buhari for always acting oblivious to the happenings in the country and stated that Nengi has the same trait.
However, another Twitter user who seemed to have a beef with the reality show star, said he thinks Nengi is Buhari’s adviser because she has been ‘benefiting’ from the current administration.
The user went on to list Nengi’s achievement and called on EFCC to investigate her source of income.

An American man has been left distraught and heartbroken after discovering that his 6-year-old daughter is not his.
The man took to his social media page to share a photo of a DNA result, which clearly states he isn’t the father of the daughter he has nutured for six years.
In his post, he reveals how he went into debt and dropped out of school just so he could become a full time dad.
The said man, identified as Daniel Robinson shared that he has been a single father for four years and just discovered that he’s been lied to and manipulated for six years.
He also added that his baby mama and half of her friends knew.

Tired. I’ve kept my peace as long as possible but I feel like it’s time to tell my story. I’ve loved this little girl while she was still a fetus inside of her mother. In a rather bizarre new report, women are now requesting that jewellers make accessories out of their partner’s semen for them.
Amanda Booth, a jeweller and a sculptor, has began accepting intimate samples from ladies looking to make jewelleries from them.
Amanda only started using semen in the mixtures after she shared a “joke” about it on Facebook and discovering that there’s actually a market for it.
She started by testing the process using her own husband’s semen. According to her, she mixes clay with semen, dehydrates it and then turns it into powder before incorporating it into a piece of jewellery in clay bead form.
She revealed that she uses semen, breastmilk and people’s ashes to make items as well.
In a chat with VICE, she said,
“Fresh samples are one thing, but when they’ve been in the mail for a little bit, I mean… it smells like semen, you know what I mean?
“We process them at the end of the day, otherwise we’re sitting in the smell all day and it’s just… We did it in the morning one day and it was just like, ‘No, I’m never doing that again.”
In a recent clip posted on her TikTok, Amanda revealed a bunch of semen samples in see-through zip lock bags inside her fridge.
A lot of Amanda’s customers are from social media. They send off their semen to be made into a wearable item for “kink” reasons.

21-year-old man arrested for allegedly stealing his boss’ car, phones to fund his relocation abroad (photos)
A 21-year-old Nigerian man, identified as Temple Samuel, has been arrested for allegedly stealing his boss’ car in Lagos.
The suspect was arrested by operatives of the Lagos Rapid Response Squad (RRS) in the Ogba area of Lagos State, along with his three accomplice, Benjamin Bassey (32), Chukwuemeka Okorie (29) and Joshua Agboche (37).
Following investigation, it was discovered that the suspect who works in a car wash at Egbeda stole his boss’ Lexus ES 330 car in the middle of the night and carted away his iPhone X and iPhone 13 as well.
He also fraudulently transferred N75,000 from his boss’ account to his personal account.
Upon interrogation, the suspect said he planned to use the money he makes from selling the items to process his relocation abroad.
The state Commissioner of Police, CP Abiodun Alabi, has directed that the case be transferred to the State CID, Panti, for further investigations and prosecution.
According to the Police spokesperson, Ben Hundeyin, a son or daughter cannot sell their parent’s property without consent and thus, Samuel committed a crime.
He added that the mother was not aware of her son’s actions and she was shocked when she was called to come pick the car.

This comes after the award-winning actress, who turned 38 on Sunday, August 28, acknowledged a post dedicated to her by Yul Edochie and snubbed that of Judy.
Yul Edochie had taken to his Instagram page to celebrate Mercy Johnson and eulogized her for being a stellar actress.

Netizens have dug up an old video of former Big Brother Naija housemate, Khalid, bragging that his colleague, Dotun, would never be able to snatch his girlfriend, Daniella.
Before Khalid’s eviction from the reality TV show, he and Daniella were an unbreakable couple who made headlines for their several escapades under the duvet.
However, after his eviction, concerned fans who feared that other male housemates, Dotun and Adekunle, might make a move to snatch Khalid’s lover, expressed their concern during an Instagram live session on his official page.
Confident, in what he and Daniella shared, Khalid assured his fan that he has nothing to worry about as he was sure Daniella won’t leave him for them.
“They can try, they will fail”, he said.
Well, after Daniella and Dotun were spotted cuddling up under the duvet after lights out last night, netizens dug out the old video of Khalid and mocked him.

It was earlier reported that it appears Daniella has finally moved on following her love-interest, Khalid,’s eviction, as she was spotted having an intimate moment with another male housemate, Dotun, last night.
Dotun, who has also developed feelings for Daniella, emerged as the Head of House on Monday and picked Daniella as his deputy. As a result, they will stay in the HOH lounge together until the next HOH game.
Last night, after lights out, the duo were spotted having a moment while under the duvet, an action that has elicited a barrage of reactions from social media users.

Big Brother Naija level-up housemate, Daniella, has told her new love-interest, Dotun, that a relationship can not work between them.
Recall that the housemates had an under-the-duvet moment in the HOH lounge last night which caused quite a stir on social media.
Bulk of the agitation were from those pointing out that Daniella was in a relationship with Khalid before he was booted out of the show few weeks ago.
However, Dotun, who emerged as this week’s Head of House, seems to have developed feelings for Daniella and choose her as his deputy HOH which means they would stay in the HOH lounge together till the next HOH game.
Last night, after lights out, the duo got intimate under the sheets and a video of them making out has been making rounds online.

Well, few hours after they had a moment under the duvet, Daniella has called things off with Dotun and told him that they can’t work.
She made this statement when she was dressing up this morning and Dotun, who is still enthralled by their rendezvous last night, complimented her outfit and said it was enticing him.
She also asked if he would like to pick another deputy HOH so she would not have to spend nights with him at the HOH lounge, but he vehemently refused.

EFCC allegedly confiscates BBNaija star, Nengi’s Range Rover
Big Brother Naija star, Nengi, is currently in the news over rumours that her Range Rover has been confiscated by officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Viral reports alleged that the luxury whip was a gift from billionaire Micheal Diongoli, who is currently under the radar of the anti-graft agency.
A Twitter user, @FoluShaw, who alleged that Nengi’s car was seized by the EFCC after Mr. Micheal Diongoli was arraigned before a Lagos Federal court, tweeted,
“Appaz one Michael Ukiye Diongoli a ponzi scheme operator has been arraigned in front Jusitice Mabrose Lewis Allagoa of Lagos Federal High Court by Force CID Alagbon for defrauding multiple victims of 1.2 billion. Appaz he financed a few projects for Nengi and its been reportedly seized as proceeds of crime. Was confiscated in July actually”.
Recall that Nengi showed off the Range Rover in July 2021.
However, a few days after she showed off the newly acquired Range Rover on social media and she got a lot of positive comments from fans who praised her for her hard work, controversial blogger Gistlover alleged that the car was bought by Nengi’s sugar daddy, a certain Mr. Michael Diongoli.
Since Nengi bought the car a few months after her fans had allegedly gifted her another Range Rover model for her birthday, it raised questions as to why she would get another one in such a short space of time.

In the trending clip that has gotten people talking online, the two bike riders slowed down their bikes to give the pair a chance to communicate and exchange contacts.
The man is seen inputting the lady’s contact on his phone as she called it out inaudibly.
When the lady’s bike rider got to a turning leading to her destination, he turned and the man’s bikeman almost followed suit before he (the man) alerted him to change his direction.
A motorist who spotted the interesting moment decided to capture them and shared the video on social media.

A viral video has captured the heart-melting moment a Nigerian woman reunited with her daughter, who recently put to bed abroad.
The woman’s daughter recently delivered a baby, so she flew from Nigeria to Ghana for postpartum care, popularly known as Omugwo.
The video showed the moment the latest grandmother arrived at her daughter’s home in Ghana to care for the new mother and her baby.
Evidently ecstatic, the woman, on seeing her grandchild, knelt down and raised her hands in thanksgiving to God.
She then exchanged pleasantries with the wife’s mother-in-law, who had earlier joined the couple for the same purpose.
Sharing the video on social media, the new mum, identified as Chima Kwami, wrote,
“And mummy has to come all the way from Nigeria to Ghana for Omugwo (Postpartum Care). Thank God for Journey Mercy. It is not easy. “

Iconic Nigerian singer, Innocent Idibia, better known as Tuface, has jokingly called out his wife, actress Annie Idibia, and their daughter, Olivia.
In a video shared on his Instasgram page, the 46-year-old musician said they were disturbing his life in the house as he filmed his wife who was sitting on the bed and his daughter who was lying down on the couch.
According to him, Annie is the main person disturbing his peace in the house while his 8-year-old daughter is just giggling and laughing on her phone.

Lady recounts how she almost lost her voice after speaking with a fraudster who sent her airtime (Video)
A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to raise alarm over the new format scammers use to extort unsuspecting victims.
The young lady in a video currently making the rounds online claimed that she got a call from someone claiming that they had sent airtime to her phone number.
The caller said that he intended to give the airtime to someone else but had mistakenly transferred it to her.
She said she promised not to use the airtime if it got to her. She said the airtime indeed came in and the strange man called her again.
The man called back a short while later to thank her and said his father wanted to speak with her. She claimed that after some hesitation, she decided to speak with the said father who thanked her and then went on to ask her personal questions.
She said she became uncomfortable and tried to stop the conversation, but the man persisted.
She claimed that after the call she lost her voice and couldn’t speak.
“He said My daughter I didn’t know people like you still exist. May God bless you. I said Amen. He said ‘From Grass to Grass’. I didn’t even hear it. It was my sister who heard it and said ‘God forbid’. He continued and asked me what is my name. I told him it doesn’t matter. He asked me where do I stay. I lied to him that I stay in Lagos. He said okay what do I do? I said does it matter? You have thanked me..I ended the call. Immediately I ended the call I didn’t get myself again. It is as if I wanted to vomit something. From there I lost my voice.” She said.
