Nigerian Actress and Single mother-of-one, Tonto Dikeh has taken to Instagram to advise single mothers.

The Movie star advised Mothers to invest “happiness, wealth, love” in their children.

She also averred that they should “Love their children unconditionally.”

Sharing an adorable video of herself and her son, she wrote;

American dancer and model, Cheryl Burke, has admitted that she’s never had an orgasm during intercourse.

The Dancing with the Stars professional made this disclosure during an episode of her podcast, calling it her “biggest confession to date.”

According to her, she had not been completely honest during her interview with sex therapist Miss Jaiya last week.

“I’ve never really, I guess, had an orgasm before when it comes to intercourse. This doesn’t reflect on any partner I’ve been with. It only reflects on me.

“I think the reason I didn’t want to say it [at the time] was because I didn’t want to hurt anyone,” she added. But that has nothing to do with the person; it has everything to do with me and my shame and my child abuse and my vulnerability.” She said.

The disclosure was welcomed with a lot of love in the comments, with several ladies admitting that they, too, haven’t had an orgasm during intercourse.

A lover boy has advised people on what not to do in the name of love after few months of meeting and dating someone.

The man, identified as @way2heartless on Twitter, made headlines in the United States after starting off a relationship with a Canadian woman he met on a dating app in April 2022.

He flew her down to the US to meet him for the first time in May 2022 and inked her name “Alisa” on his neck.

He took to Twitter to share pictures and videos of their romantic moments and began documenting their unconventional love story on the platform.

“So I met a young lady from Canada on @hinge April 18th. By April 30th she was on a flight from Canada to visit me. Yesterday I got her name tatted and I’m sure she’s pregnant with my kid. Oh and I’m moving to Canada in June. Thanks @hinge I found love.💘”, he wrote.

He subsequently moved to Canada to be with her but things went downhill from there as he recently revealed that they have broken up.

He shared an update on Wednesday, June 15, and advised people not to repeat his mistake by tattooing their partner’s name on their body.

“We broke up but ima leave this posted to show niggas what not to do. 🤣”, he wrote.

The groom, who was captured in a viral video hitting his bride at their wedding reception, has been charged over the attack.

The man is said to have become enraged when his bride defeated him in a game during their wedding reception.

The bride won a competition to unwrap sweets that had been organized by guests at their wedding that was held in the southern region of Surkhandaryo in Uzbekistan on June 6.

The video sparked outrage online, with many berating the groom for already physically abusing his wife only minutes after she was pronounced his wife.

Saida Mirziyoyeva, daughter of the country’s president, also reacted to the video, condemning the attack and prompting police to track the couple down.

In a recent development, officers say the man has now been charged with ‘hooliganism’ but is facing just 15 days in prison and a fine if found guilty.

PDP Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has picked Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State as his running mate in the 2023 General election.

The former Vice President arrived at this decision on Thursday morning, June 16, after he was asked to choose between three shortlisted candidates by the National Working Committee of the party.

They handpicked Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, Ifeanyi Okowa, and Emmanuel Udom of Akwa Ibom state.

After critically evaluating the candidates, Atiku choose Okowa as his running mate and said it’s because he has “presidential qualities”.

At the unveiling ceremony, it was said that the choice is in the best interest of the party.

In other news, Veteran Nigerian singer, Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has said he will leave Nigeria for Ghana if Tinubu or Atiku Abubakar wins the 2023 Presidential election.

Popular relationship expert, Blessing Okoro, has sparked a debate online after she noted that there’s nothing a man can give a woman apart from money.

In a recent social media post, the Break or Makeup founder, who is popular for giving her hot takes on relationships, averred that a man’s sole responsibility is to provide for his woman.

She claimed when a man is not giving his woman money, then he’s not interested in the relationship and is only wasting her time as men stay where they invest their money.

According to her, men are natural providers and are not created to do much for a woman except provide for her. She added that it’s a woman that is created to multi-task.

Reality TV star and entrepreneur, Natacha Akide, popularly known as Tacha, didn’t spare a Twitter user who berated her for publicizing her charity work.

Tacha visited a rural community to sensitize the locals on the importance of getting their Permanent Voter Card (PVC) ahead of the 2023 general elections. The Big Brother Naija star, however, did not go empty handed as she handed them foodstuffs like rice and oil on the outreach.

The reality star, who believes that it’s important to sensitize the locals to get their PVC’s, shared a video showing some of the foodstuffs she parked which had “get your PVC” stickers on them and urged others who have the capability to do the same.

In her words,

Ejiro Otarigbo, the heroic tanker driver who drove a burning tanker from a danger zone to avert a tragic fire incident in Agbarho, Delta State, has spoken about the incident.

On Friday, June 10, 2022, Ejiro Otarigho risked his life to drive a burning truck out of a residential area to save others.

To lessen the damage that the flaming truck might cause if it exploded, Otarigho drove it away from a heavily crowded residential neighbourhood in Agbarho Town, Ughelli North, Delta State, to a sparsely populated location.

In an interview with media personality, Lucky Udu, Ejiro said he didn’t stop and continued driving the truck to a secluded place because he knew it might take a while for the fire service to get to the scene and a lot of damage could have been caused if the tanker exploded.

He noted that he did not want to be labeled as the individual who caused the deaths of thousands of people, and that was why he took the ultimate risk.

Speaking further, he revealed he recently got married and his wife is heavily pregnant.

According to him, as a result of the tragic incident, his truck is burnt and he’s currently jobless.

A maid has lost her job only few days after she was employed after being caught on camera trying to suffocate her colleague.

The footage, obtained from CCTV cameras installed in the house, shows the maid, ambush her colleague in a secluded part of the house and attempted to strangle to her colleague.

Although its unclear what transpired between the two viral reports that the maid who was employed by a family in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory came to the house with a mission.

An Instagram blog who shared the CCTV footage online revealed that the lady has been relieved of her duty and urged the public to be careful.

“This was sent in a few days ago. In the CCTV video, a new maid is seen trying to suffocate a colleague. Yar aji got a new maid, unknown to her she came with a mission. Edo state-born Nollywood actress, Yvonne Jegede, has been lauded online after she shared an adorable video of her son, Xavier, learning her dialect.

The mother of one took to her Instagram page on Wednesday, June 15 to share a video of herself and her son conversing in her dialect.

In the video, little Xavier could be heard asking his mother for permission to play outside.

Yvonne replied to him in their dialect, and her son responded.

Sharing the video, the actress noted that she’s too proud of her dialect for her not to teach her son to speak fluently.

Nigerian filmmaker, Imoh Umoren, has reacted to the controversy that has trailed presidential aspirant Peter Obi’s visit to Egypt to study the country’s education, power, planning, and financial achievements.

Obi, the Labour Party (LP) Presidential flag bearer in the 2023 election, had on Tuesday, via his official Twitter handle, announced the three-day trip to the North African nation.

“I just departed for Egypt on a 3-day visit as part of my detailed study of comparable countries to Nigeria. In Egypt, I am expected to understudy, among others, the Egyptian Power Sector, Education, Planning and Finance Sectors”. He tweeted.

While many of Peter Obi’s supporters praised him for the trip and said it was part of his purposeful effort to bring change to the Nigerian system in all quarters, others chastised him and said he shouldn’t have left the country at this time.

Fellow presidential aspirant, Omoyele Sowore also threw jabs at Peter Obi for travelling to Egypt to understudy their systems.

A Nigerian professor of law, Ngozi Ezeilo, has decried the soaring cost of living in Nigeria in the absence of a rise in income.

Taking to Twitter, she explained that as a law professor, she earns N400K a month and spends N40K to fuel her car each week and approximately N200K in a month.

She added that there’s still a long list of other bills that she has to pay out of her monthly salary when forty percent of her income has gone to fueling her car already.

She asked the direction the country is headed and noted that with the current economic situation in the country, the World Bank’s prediction that many Nigerians will become poor is about to become a reality.

Popular Nollywood actor, Imeh Bishop Umoh otherwise known as Okon Lagos, has said he will sell his vote to any politician willing to pay the ‘right price’.

He made this declaration in a video shared on his Instagram page while speaking on the 2023 general elections and the vote-buying antics of some politicians.

According to Okon, such politicians pay citizens to vote for them once in four years and it’s only fair for him to collect enough money to sustain him until the next election season.

The 40-year-old comic actor said he would willingly sell his vote at $1000/day, and went on to calculate the total amount he would collect for four years.

He said there are 365 days in one year and when multiplied by four years, it gives 1,460 days. He then multiplied 1,460 days by his said price/day and it amounts to $1,460,000.

The actor said he would offer the politician an exchange rate of N500 to a dollar and when the total amount is converted to naira, his selling price becomes N730 million.

According to him, that should be enough to fend for himself and his family till the next election season when politicians will start canvassing for votes again.

Veteran Nollywood actor, Emeka Ike has taken to social media to reveal that he was once a victim of abuse in his marriage.

It would be recalled that the actor got separated from his wife, Suzanne Emma, in 2015 after she filed for a divorce on grounds of domestic violence.

However, they got officially divorced in 2017 and he proceeded to have a lowkey wedding with a South African model, Yolanda Pfeiffer, whom he is still married to.

Well, the 55-year-old actor recently shared his opinion on abuse in marriage and stated that women tend to be more abusive in marriage which explains why men usually die first.

According to him, he was a victim of abuse in his marriage and it was God that saved him.

However, he didn’t disclose if he was referring to his first or second marriage.

A Nigerian man has declared that he has taken it upon himself to start a fight against indecent dressing in Bayelsa state.

The man, a popular MC in the state identified as Eminent Alu, on Wednesday, June 15, announced his plan to flog ladies in the state who are indecently dressed in what he tagged “the fight against indecent dressing.”

According to Alu, his campaign against indecent dressing in the state will start on Saturday, June 18.

In other news, a soldier was filmed assaulting and stripping naked a young lady, who was dressed in a manner he considered indecent.

The said incident occurred at Oju-Ore, Sango Ota area of Ogun State.

The lady, who was cladded in a pair of shorts and white knitted coverup, was trekking along the road when she was assaulted.

According to reports, the soldier was inside a commercial bus when he spotted the lady. He then alighted and attacked her because of her dressing.

In the video currently making rounds on social media, the lady is seen bending at the knee, begging the soldier as he yanks her blouse off her body.

According to eyewitness reports, he also slapped her repeatedly and pulled her by her braids.

Fortunately, passersby intervened when he attempted to remove the woman’s bra and he only let her go after they begged him repeatedly.

Police uncover hotel where children are used as sex slaves in Anambra (photos)

The Anambra state police command has busted a hotel in the state where girls between the ages of 14 and 17 are allegedly being used for sex slavery, prostitution, and baby factories.

The spokesperson of the state police command, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, in a statement, revealed that operatives raided the hotel named Gally Gally in Nkpor on intelligence and tips from residents around the area.

According to Tochukwu, about 35 teenage girls were rescued from the camp, and about four of them are pregnant.

He said the police also arrested 3 people, namely, Mrs Ifeoma Uzo, age “F,” 35 yrs, Chidiebere Alaka, age “M,” 28 years old, and Nweke Chidiebere.

“We recovered three pump action gun, seven cartridges and cash sum of Eight hundred and seventy seven thousand, five hundred naira (#877,500). The Suspects arrested are being interrogated with a view to eliciting information on their involvement and unmasking other gang members.” the statement read in part.

Tochukwu added that the police will hand over the victims to NAPTIP for the welfare and rehabilitation of the children.

In other news, the acting Accountant General of the Federation (AGF), Anamekwe Nwabuoku, has said the country is facing a huge financial crisis and revealed that Nigeria borrows money to pay salaries.

The acting AGF made this disclosure in Abuja on Tuesday at a retreat organized by the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation for members of the Technical Sub-committee on Cash Management (TSCM).

Nwabuoku explained that there is an increase in government expenditure due to rising security challenges and the social needs of the citizenry.

“We have to borrow to augment payment of salaries and wages. This shows we are in very difficult times. Government income is highly challenged,” He said.

A Nigerian man, Chukwuebuka Nwobodo, has been declared wanted by the US Police in connection with the disappearance and alleged murder of a 24-year-old lady, Felicia Johnson.

Felicia went missing on April 16, 2022, after leaving a hotel in Houston, Texas.

The prime suspect, Nwodobo, was said to have bought some suspicious items and searched for different ways to get rid of a corpse.

Nigerian man declared

He was first arrested on May 13 after the police allegedly found blood in the trunk and backseat of his vehicle, as well as a handgun, loose latex gloves, a shovel and a large kitchen knife with blood on it. However, he was released shortly after.

Following subsequent investigation, it was discovered that Nwobodo allegedly murdered the young lady and disposed her body.

When his home was searched, they found large amounts of blood stains in his apartment, specifically his bedroom and hallway floors.

Nigerian man declared

A warranted search on his Google accounts also showed that on April 20 Nwobodo googled, “How to get away with murder”, ” Can bleach destroy DNA?”, “What does vinegar do to blood?”, “how does one plan a murder without getting caught”, “most forested part of Houston”, and cheapest places to live in the world on a $1,000-per-month budget.

Detectives with the Houston Police Department, who confirmed the tragic incident said,

“Evidence indicates Nwobodo killed Johnson inside his apartment before disposing her personal effects in Bear Creek Pioneers Park. It is believed he disposed of Johnson’s body at some point within the next few days.”

Meanwhile, Nwobodo is currently still on the run.
