A Twitter user who claimed to have witnessed the event between Burna Boy and a married lady at the Cubana club in Lagos has dispelled reports that the singer approached the married woman.
The Twitter user identified as King Kong in a series of Twitter threads titled “What Really Happened At Club Cubana” alleged that, contrary to claims that the singer sent his friends to call the lady’s attention, she had gone to meet the singer at his VVIP corner to get a picture with him.
He alleged that rather than wait for his wife to return, the woman’s husband violently went to where the singer was seated to cause a scene.
According to him, Burna Boy’s escort shot to disperse them, accidentally hitting two guys.

A wedding was called off in Sierra Leone last weekend after it was discovered that the groom was already married.
The young man’s wedding was called off after the family members of his first wife stormed the church with proof that he was already married.
According to reports, the man planned to covertly marry a new wife while still married to his first wife.
However, during the wedding ceremony, as the priest was about to join him with the new woman, family members of his first wife barged into the church with enough evidence to prove that he’d already married.
This revelation made the officiating priest call off the wedding.
He was almost mobbed as an angry mob was waiting outside the church premises to lynch him.
In the viral clip, the man is seen coming out of the church after his wedding was called off, but quickly rushing back after he saw the enraged crowd at the exit.
The incident is said to have occurred in Sierra Leone last weekend.

An Abuja-based clergywoman, Pastor Sarah Moakwu, has spoken against the emergence of Muslims as the presidential candidates of the two major political parties in Nigeria.
This comes after former Lagos state governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, clinched the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential ticket and former Vice President of Nigeria, Abubakar Atiku, won the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential ticket.
Pastor Sarah while preaching to her congregation on Sunday, June 19, condemned the fact that both candidates are Muslims and called it a total disrespect to Christians.
She further averred that Christians will not condone it and would rather ‘waste’ their votes on a candidate from a party that lacks ‘structure’,

“It’s all lies” – Lagos state Commissioner for Information, Gbenga Omotoso, denies claims road was blocked for three hours because of Tinubu
The Lagos State Commissioner for Information, Gbenga Omotosho, has denied reports that a road in the state was shut down for three hours to receive APC Presidential flagbearer, Bola Tinubu, on Sunday, June 19.
Tinubu arrived Lagos for the first time since he secured the presidential ticket under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and was received by a tumultuous crowd and a long convoy.
However, a Nigerian man in a video shared online alleged that roads were blocked for three hours by the Lagos state government because of Tinubu.
The state’s Commissioner for Information, Gbenga Omotosho, has now refuted the claim in a text message sent to Nigerian journalist, Reuben Abati, on Monday, June 20.
He stated that the report is false and the convoy was formed by loyal fans of the APC chieftain, not the government.
The text reads,
“It is all lies. Roads were not shut for three hours. The convoy was formed by party faithfuls and other Lagosians who were excited to see Asiwaju. Governor Sanwo-Olu has directed that the attack on journalists should be investigated.”

A Nigerian Police Officer, Aliyu Giwa, has shared the story of a father who came to the station to report his son for beating him up and locking him out of his house.
Aliyu disclosed that the incident happened some years ago, and it was discovered that the father was cursed for always beating up his own father when he was younger.

“Let me share a story with you about an incident of a man & his son that transpired few years back.
Just like every other day at the Police station, this man walked into the station and met with the CRO (charge room officer) to lay a complaint.
His complaint was his son beat him up & locked him out of his own house. The house I built! He exclaimed. Before we knew it, he broke down in tears.
When I heard that, I was like “wow”! I had to move close to him while he was still talking to the CRO.After his Complaints and all.
I said to him, Baba how old is this your son? He said 28yrs. I was like what kind of generation is this? This shouldn’t be happening in our generation. But of course I had to calm baba down.
India mic mic (immediately) Policemen swung into action.
Baba’s son was invited and he surprisingly honored the invitation without hesitation. Although, his eyes were red & he was stinking of alcohol.
The son was asked, what transpired between him and his father. His words were:

We had to pacify him so we could continue eliciting information from him. All of sudden the father started shouting in ibo dialect but unfortunately I didn’t understand what he was saying.

Long story short, the son was kept in our custody & baba went back home.
Btw, I didn’t mention that baba had just a wrap tied on him. Lol.
The next day baba’s elder brother came for the son’s bail. I said to Baba’s brother “sir you know what happened?” He said yes!
So why do you want to take his bail or why are u here to be his surety?
He said my son don’t mind his father. Again I was astounded at his response. I then asked why again? In his response he said; “when we were growing up in the 60s his father (who’s my brother) was very stubborn, full of pride & had no regards for his elders.
Although our dad was a drunk after we lost our mum, my brother was in the village with my dad so he could take care of him. We began to receive loads of handwritten letters that my brother was in the habit of beating our dad to stupor & refused to take care of him.
In fact, the worst day of life was the day my brother beat my dad & I, and that was the day the elders in our village cursed him.
Further to the narration, I had to call baba on phone to let him know his elder brother is here to take the bail of his son.
I called baba and the following conversation ensued ;
Me: good day sir
Baba: my son how are u doing? Thanks for yesterday may God not you give that kind of son!
Me: Amin ya’Allah! 🙏
Me: sir, your elder brother is here to take your son’s bail.
Baba: He’s not my son! Will ask his mother if that’s my son!
Subsequently he hung up and all efforts to reach him proved abortive as he refused to pick my calls afterwards.

A U.K based Nigerian lady has a strong message for those planning to relocate to the European country in search of greener pastures.
This comes amid the current rave to relocate abroad due to state of the nation ranging from insecurity to bad economic conditions, among other factors.
Speaking in a video shared on TikTok, the young lady said she would not advise Nigerians not to relocate to the UK but they should prepare for depression.
According to her, they should prepare to be depressed at least 5 times a week, have constant battles with mental health issues and emotional stress.
She asserted that the definition of being strong in Nigeria is a sharp contrast from what is obtainable in the U.K so they should prepare their minds for the worse.

The American-based woman who was in a Nigeria for a friend’s wedding, took to social media to narrate what transpired on the night of the incident.
She said she went to have fun with her husband and other friends at a popular club in Lagos when Burna Boy sent someone from his team to solicit her attention, which she declined three times in a row.
However, following a third altercation with her friends, a brawl broke out, and Burna Boy allegedly gave the signal for the shooting.
“We were visiting Nigeria from America and London for our childhood friends wedding on the 8th of June 2022, @burnaboygram and his friends opened fire at us in Cubanalagos. My partner and his friend were shot, with both needing urgent medical care. A bullet grazed my partners head and our friend was shot in the thigh, leaving him hospitalized and needing an emergency surgery in Nigeria.” She wrote in part.
Reacting to the married lady’s narration, Symba pointed accusing fingers at her for the attack and stated that it’s likely she gave Burna Boy the impression that she was interested in him with her face and body signals.
The curvaceous model stated that the signals possibly propelled the singer to send someone to solicit her attention.
According to her, the messy incident wouldn’t have occurred if the married woman didn’t give the singer signals in the first place.

The chairman of the Cubana group, Obi Cubana, has broken his silence on the incident involving Nigerian superstar singer Burna Boy and a married woman at his club.
This comes after the married lady who was allegedly assaulted by Burna Boy at the Cubana club in Lagos shared her side of the story.
It would be recalled that Burna Boy’s escort is alleged to have shot and wounded two guests at the club in the early hours of Wednesday, June 8, 2022.
According to reports, the singer was in the VIP section of the club with three women when he spotted the married lady. He was said to have told one of his escorts to invite her to join him.
The lady’s husband, who was by her side, was said to have slammed the singer, insisting that it was disrespectful for Burna to make advances on his wife.
A fight broke out and Burna is said to have given his escort a signal to shoot.
However, after the lady shared her side of the story, there was an outpouring of rage, with many demanding that justice be served.
In response to the uproar, Obi Cubana stated that his company has handed over all information at its disposal to the authorities. He also expressed his “complete sympathy” to “any/all people who may have been affected by this.”
“As Regards the issues making rounds the social media, we at Cubana Group have given all information at our disposal to the legal authorities. However, we wholeheartedly sympathise with any/all those who may have been impacted by this. Sad! Nigerian woman dies in auto crash 5 days after her wedding
A newly wedded bride, identified as Maryam Olawunmi Afolabi Ahmed, has died in a ghastly car accident five days after her wedding in Kaduna State.
Maryam, who tied the knot only a few days ago, was one of 18 passengers on an 18-seater bus killed in a freak accident in Gidan Kwano, along the Minna-Bida road in the Bosso Local Government area of Niger State, in the early hours of Sunday, June 19.
Some passengers of the bus, which was said to have taken off from Lagos, were burnt beyond recognition when the driver ran into a broken-down heavy tipper truck on the road.
The Spokesperson of the Niger Command Police Command, DSP Wasiu Abiodun, who confirmed the incident, explained that one survivor is currently receiving medical attention in Minna hospital.
Family and friends of the deceased bride have taken to Facebook to mourn her demise.
One Onaolapo Ayinde Wasiu revealed that Maryam had returned to Abeokuta with her husband after their wedding and was heading back to Kaduna on Sunday to commence her final year exam when the accident that claimed her life occurred.

In tears, the siblings described how their mother had been their sole provider, paying for their schooling with proceeds from her petty trade in the state.
However, reacting to the emotional video, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, the General Overseer of Omega Power Ministry, has pledged to relocate them to Port Harcourt and assist them. He pleaded with anyone with information on how to reach them to reach out.
Taking to Twitter, he wrote,
“The story about these kids that lost their mom in the OWO attack in Ondo is so disheartening. If you know how I can reach them please contact me so I can relocate them immediately to port Harcourt. I want to help them.”

Moment lady collapsed after being proposed to by boyfriend (Video)
A video serving the rounds has captured the terrifying moment a young lady collapsed during her boyfriend’s romantic proposal to her.
The young man had sought the help of his friends to surprise his girlfriend with a marriage proposal. However, the lady’s reaction to the surprise turned what was supposed to be a romance into a frantic situation.
The lady was seen crying in amazement when her guy went down on one knee with a ring in his hand, and she passed out the moment he popped the question, asking her to marry him.
The boyfriend and his friends on the scene were terrified and rushed to assist the young lady who was unconscious on the floor.

In other news, some Nigerian Muslims on Twitter lambasted a young Muslim lady over her choice of dressing. The Photos of the lady were shared on a Twitter account with handle, Hafsa @wy_dee.
It however isn’t ascertained if she is the owner of the account or it is a catfish account — some Muslims, reacting to the post, criticised the lady for wearing ‘such a dress,’ saying that it is against the teaching of the Qur’an.
Commenting under the post, one Abdullaziz Ibrahim stated that he will divorce the lady if she were his wife.
“If I ‘m the husband you will get your divorce because of this dress to it to the world.” he wrote.

As is the custom every Father’s day since she separated from her ex-husband, Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has taken to social media to celebrate herself for being a great dad to her son, King Andre.
The mother-of-one shared a video compilation of priceless moments with her son and times she played the role of a father during her son’s school activities and praised herself for doing a good job.
The 37-year-old actress also stated that it takes a strong person to be a single parent and play the role of a mother and father like she is doing.

Convoy of APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu allegedly attacked by hoodlums in Lagos State (video)
On Sunday, 19th of June 2022, the African Independent Television reported that the convoy of the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu was allegedly attacked by hoodlums in Lagos State.
It is unclear if anyone was hurt during the attack, but a video shared online by the news channel showed one of the buses in the convoy badly damaged.

With over 1000 votes count, Nigerian politician and National leader of the All Progressives Congress party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu emerged winner of the APC Presidential Primaries.
The convention which held at the Eagles Square in Abuja, from Monday, June 6th to Wednesday, June 8th, 2022, saw Presidential aspirants all under the APC party vying for the slot to represent the party in the forthcoming 2023 Nigerian General Elections.
While a couple of aspirants bowed out and stepped down for Bola Ahmed Tinubu, others who didn’t were left to contest for the spot by voting. Voting ended in the early hours of Wednesday morning, and sorting and counting of the votes followed.

The Ekiti state Gubernatorial elections held over the weekend and although a winner has been declared, there were viral reports that it was heavily marred by voter buyers/sellers.
Buying of votes was noticed across many polling units in the ongoing Saturday governorship election in Ekiti State on Saturday.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) correspondents, who monitored the election, reports that incidents of vote buying were recorded in many polling centres visited.
We also reported a viral video of two young girls showing off their earnings as also brandished their voter’s card after selling their votes.
Reacting to this, popular Nigerian Clergyman, Apostle Johnson Suleman took to his social media page to state that some Youths are not leaders of tomorrow but LOOTERS in training.
The cleric tweeted;
So in the just concluded Ekiti state election,some youths were selling their votes?..
I have always said it,not all youths are leaders of tomorrow,some are looters in training!.
The Centre for Democracy and Development, CDD, has revealed that its field observers documented 41 instances of vote buying and selling at polling units across six Local Government Areas (LGAs) during the governorship election in Ekiti state.
According to the CDD, the cases were recorded at Ado-Ekiti, Ijero, Ikole Irepodun/Ifelodun, Ise/Orun and Moba LGAs of Ekiti.

The married lady who was allegedly assaulted by singer Burna Boy at the popular Cubana club in Lagos has shared a detailed account of what transpired.
It would be recalled that the singer made headlines a few days ago after a police escort attached to him reportedly shot two fun-seekers at the club in Lagos.
Burna Boy is alleged to have made passes at the woman who was at the club with her husband on Wednesday, June 8.
Well, the said woman has now taken to her Insta-stories to narrate what transpired.
According to the American-based lady, she and her man flew into the country for a friend’s wedding and decided to visit the club in the company of their friends after the celebration.
She claimed that while they were having a fantastic time at the club, Burna Boy asked someone from his team to solicit her attention, which she declined three times in a row.
However, following a third altercation with her friends, a brawl broke out, and Burna Boy allegedly gave the signal for the shooting.
“We were visiting Nigeria from America and London for our childhood friends wedding on the 8th of June 2022, @burnaboygram and his friends opened fire at us in Cubanalagos. My partner and his friend were shot, with both needing urgent medical care. A bullet grazed my partners head and our friend was shot in the thigh, leaving him hospitalized and needing an emergency surgery in Nigeria.” She wrote in part.

Some Muslim clerics gathered themselves at drag queen, Bobrisky‘s House to pray for him during his housewarming party.

Escaped inmate butchers pregnant woman to death in Imo state; deceased’s relatives in standoff with police as they ask to deal with criminal themselves (Video)
Police and relatives of a murder victim were involved in a standoff over who gets to administer justice on the suspect.
The suspect was caught on Sunday, June 19, by locals after he allegedly butchered a pregnant woman at No. 4 Nekede Old Road in Imo State.
Locals tried to lynch him but the police from Ihiagwa division intervened. During questioning, the injured suspect blamed his actions on what he’d smoked.
He is later seen being led out to a police van.
However, relatives of the deceased from Ohaji Egbema refused to allow the police take the suspect. They insisted that the suspect be released to them so they can deal with him as they deem fit for killing their relative.
According to members of the community, the suspect is one of the convicts who escaped during the Imo prison break.

According to the actress who appears not to like any of the above, anyone who uses fresh garlic in their meals, instead of garlic powder, is toxic.
