A Nigerian couple were slain on their way to their wedding in Imo state, turning what was supposed to be a joyous day into a tragic one.

According to viral reports, the couple, both military personnel, were attacked by unknown gunmen on the way to the venue for their wedding.

It was gathered that the groom , a warrant officer was compulsorily retired ahead of his wedding to the female junior officer.

A military source disclosed that the couple were beheaded and their private parts mutilated.

However, a man confessed to killing the soldiers and two others in a viral phone conversation. He claimed the soldiers had been killing innocent people and he had “eaten these ones” in revenge.

In other news, Mbionu Chioma Chikaodili, a 300 level Medical Rehabilitation student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, College of Health science, Okofia, Nnewi, Anambra, was killed after being hit by a stray bullet.

Details of the incident that led to her death are still foggy but it was gathered that the 300 level Medical Rehabilitaion student was hit by stray bullet fired by gunmen during an attack on security facilities in Nnewi on Sunday, October 3rd.

A source revealed that she was reportedly rushed to the University Teaching Hospital Nnewi but was allegedly not attended to as doctors are on strike. She subsequently bled to death at the gate.

The source said,

“She was rushed to the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital and there was no doctor or medical personnel on ground to treat her. She d*ed at the gate. We were told that the doctors were on strike. It is well with Nigeria.”

Former senator, Shehu Sani has shared his opinion on the trending video of some ladies allegedly sleeping with dogs for a reported sum of N1.5m.

Shehu Sani took to his page to write;

It’s immoral for Human Being to sleep with a Dog or Human Beings copying the ways of the dog while sleeping. They deserve serious punishment.

In related news, The Nigerian police force has revealed that the Nigerian lady in the viral video who claimed she was paid N1.1million for sleeping with a dog will be invited for questioning.

The police Public Relations Officer, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, made this revelation in a chat with newsmen.

The said lady, identified as Veegodess, sparked outrage after a video where she admitted to sleeping with a dog for a pay of N1.1 million went viral.

“What is the big deal there? I only slept with a dog, I didn’t kill somebody. You, in your life, you have done worse and besides, have you seen N1.1million before?” She said in the video.

After being dragged to filth, she made a U-turn and revealed that everything she said in the video was ‘cruise’ and false.

A Nigerian man, Arinze Uzoagu from Igboukwu, Anambra State who recently became a proud father of four, has taken to his social media page to pray for couples who are also waiting for their bundle of joy.

Mr Uzoagu, an MC, and his wife, Chinaza Blessing welcomed quadruplets, three girls and a boy, early April, 2022, after six years of waiting.

Here’s what he shared on facebook.

“For those couples waiting to have a child in their various homes. To my fellow men I will tell you this, I do wake up before by this time of the night sometimes. All bothered and thinking.”

“Well, I am awake tonight not bothered or thinking. Three out of my four children woke up at the same time. So I am awake for a different reason…..a good reason.

“I pray you be like me by this time next year. Nwanne your sleep will no longer be cut short because of worries. Your sleep will be cut short because you are a new father…playing the new fatherly role to your newborn. This is my prayer for you tonight”

Shortly after the amazing birth of his Quadruplets, here’s what he had written;

“I and my wife did our traditional marriage on the 30th of December, 2015. Our church wedding was exactly a year after, 30th December, 2016. At the span of this period, we have been to several hospitals around Nigeria seeking for JUST A CHILD TO CALL US DADDY AND MUMMY

“In our sojourn, we have had 2 failed IVFs and one failed IUI. When these three experiences didn’t kill us or break us or make us abandon our faith, it became apparent that nothing else can.

“But we never lost hope. We believed. We trusted and we obeyed. So when sometime in August the results said my wife was pregnant, our joy knew no bound. We asked God to lead us through and this God that I serve did not disappoint.

“For the records, in the course of these 9 months. My wife had no complications, no challenges and form of panicky situation. Not one whatsoever.

“So at some minutes past 7am this morning. I and my sister positioned at the corridor leading to the entrance of the hospital’s theater as my wife was wheeled in. My mum led as we sang the hymns for some minutes, until the unthinkable happened.

“One of the nurses emerged from the theater and asked ‘oga you are the husband right?’ I said yes. Congratulations he said. YOUR WIFE HAS JUST BEEN DELIVERED OF A SET OF QUADRUPLETS.

“I was dumbfounded. I am still dumbfounded. We asked for years just for a child to call our own. God said Arinze na Blessing I will give you 4.

“Never give up I say to you. God is still in the business of doing great things. He did it for us….HE WILL DO IT FOR YOU.”

On today’s episode of breakfast stories, a Nigerian man known as Tide has taken ton his social media page to reveal that his girlfriend asked for “break” on the first day of the new month of May.

According to the timestamp from the picture the young man shared, his girlfriend (now ex) sent him a message shortly after midnight that she wants to take a break because she needs him to focus on having a stable finance.

A Nigerian Man identified as Collins Odahbor has been arrested in Benin city after he reportedly defiled an underaged girl who was sent on an errand.

Twitter user, @olu_wani shared photos of the suspect and said that the authorities are trying to shield the story because the man’s parents are wealthy.

According to reports, the unfortunate incident happened on Friday, April 29 in Benin. It was gathered that the victim was sent to fetch water by her parents when Collins, a father-of-two, accosted her, dragged her into his house and raped her.
