A while ago, Boma Akpore stated that Nigerians owe him an apology for falsely accusing him.
This comes after Tega, his in-house lover, confessed that her marriage ended in 2020, before she took part in the Big Brother Naija reality show.
Recall that Nigerians on social media chastised Boma for his amorous relationship with fellow housemate Tega, who claimed to be married on the show.
However, in a question and answer session with her fans on Friday, March 25, the mother of one revealed her marriage to her husband, Ajeboh Lawrence, ended two years ago.
She added that claiming she was married on the show was a move that went wrong.
“Lol, no I am not, ended since 2020. All you know was a move that went wrong. Actually, it ended in 2020. Now y’all can get off my back.” She wrote.
In an apparent reaction to the revelation, Boma noted that everyone who lambasted him for being intimate with another man’s wife should tender their apologies.
“For all the false accusations, y’all owe me an APOLOGY 💯🎯”, he wrote.
First monkeypox patient to go public is a gay man from London who had 10 partners in two weeks and was deported from Dubai for testing positive to HIV
The first person to go public with having monkey pox is a 35-year-old British man identified as James M.
The HR manager who withheld his surname, said he caught the virus after he was deported from Dubai for testing positive for HIV.
James, who is gay, said he initially thought he had a sexually transmitted infection as he had slept with around 10 partners before developing symptoms.
“I’m a gay man, and having just come back to the UK, I was having a good time,” he told MailOnline.
However, when he visited a local clinic in West London, he was referred to a specialist centre in Soho and was told to avoid public transport or close contact with others.
He said,
When I got to the clinic I was told to go and wait outside the main door and call them, they said they were going to put on PPE and they told me not to touch door handles.
‘The whole experience kind of heightens your sense of, “oh this must be really serious”. I remember going to Covid centres and it wasn’t as daunting or overwhelming as this.”
After the test, the medics told him to go home and wait for the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) to contact him.
However, James said no one has contacted him till date and slammed the UKHSA for not being proactive in their attempt to stop the virus which is spreading fast in the UK.
He also accused the UK of a lack of awareness about monkeypox’s lesser-known symptoms, and says the careless attitude of the UK is responsible for the country having more cases than African countries.
“It’s no wonder now we’re getting so many more infections if no contact tracing or awareness about you not needing the spots to have the virus being told to people.
No-one’s asked me who I’ve been in contact with. I was told that within 24 hours of my diagnosis someone from UKHSA would call me.
I’ve called the clinic every day, asking “why aren’t they calling me, I’m not allowed outside and not allowed to go work. The UKHSA is not calling me, someone needs to document this,” he added.
James says he doesn’t know he caught the virus but suspects that he got it from one of his partners who had a spot on his chest.
As at the time of filing this report, the UK has logged 302 monkey pox cases – the highest number in Europe, followed by Spain (190), Portugal (143), Canada (80) and Germany (66).

The Australian mom who has a TikTok account under her daughter’s name, Lara, had shared a lovely video of her daughter when she was born and what she looks like now at three months old.
However, the eagle eyes of netizens spotted a flower earring in the photo taken when Lara was newly born in the hospital and they didn’t hesitate to drag her mom to filth for making the life-long decision for her daughter.
According to critics, the mom should have waited till Lara was old enough to decide if she wants to pierce her ears or not.

Drama as Tinubu “snubs” Osinbajo at the APC presidential primary but later goes back to greet him (video)
A rather interesting drama ensued between Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Yemi Osinbajo at the APC Presidential primary in Abuja today, June 8.
Tinubu left his seat to greet President Muhammadu Buhari who had just arrived the Eagle Square to witness the vote collation of aspirants.
However, he passed Osinbajo who was seated inches away from the president and greeted him, his wife, and other party members, but completely ignored the Vice President who also stood up to greet him.
He then proceeded to return to his seat but was approached by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, who told him that he did not greet Osinbajo.
Tinubu immediately made a U-turn and greeted Osinbajo, before walking back to his seat.
Although, it’s not clear if the APC presidential candidate ignored Osinbajo on purpose.

BREAKING: Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu emerges winner of APC Presidential Primaries
With over 1000 votes count, Nigerian politician and National leader of the All Progressives Congress party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has emerged winner of the APC Presidential Primaries.
The convention which held at the Eagles Square in Abuja, since Monday, June 6th, 2022, saw Presidential aspirants all under the APC party vying for the slot to represent the party in the forthcoming 2023 Nigerian General Elections.
While a couple of aspirants bowed out and stepped down for Bola Ahmed Tinubu, others who didn’t were left to contest for the spot by voting. Voting ended in the early hours of Wednesday morning, and sorting and counting of the votes followed.
While as at the time of filing this report, the number of votes are being cross-checked following an initial count, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has led in numbers and as such, becomes the winner of the Primaries and will be representing the APC party in the 2023 General Elections.

In a Facebook post, the woman identified as Princess Ada recalled her humble beginnings as a 24-year-old lady with no university degree.

A video that was shared online shows the aftermath of a motor accident involving a Peugeot 504 car and an expensive Lexus Rx 350.
According to the individual who made the video, the owner of the Peugeot 504 was at fault for the cause of the accident and though he damaged the Lexus car, he asked that his own car be repaired before it was damaged more.
In the video, people are seen standing by and waiting to see how the situation will be handled – the owner of the Lexus SUV is also heard lamenting about the state of their car.

Egypt sentences teenage TikTok star to one year imprisonment over “obscene” TikTok video
A 16-year-old girl has been been sentenced to one year imprisonment in Egypt over a dance video she posted on TikTok.
The sentence was upheld by a Child Juvenile Court in Egypt on Tuesday, May 31, after her videos were branded obscene and immoral by authorities.
The teenage girl, identified as Nancy Ayman who is popularly known on TikTok as Mocha Hijazi, was reportedly charged to court for gross indecency.
Her lawyer, Mina Nagy, had appealed the one-year sentence but the court refused and sustained it.
It was gathered that her photographer, identified as Moaz M., was also charged to court and sentenced to three years imprisonment with a fine of 100,000 Egyptian pounds ($5,300).
He was accused of sexually exploiting the minor by making her film and post videos of herself in revealing clothes on social media with the aim of making money.
This move comes amid the ongoing crackdown on social media posts deemed immoral and sexually provocative in the country.

Nigerian social media comedienne, Mama Roseline Onwujekwe popularly known as Madam Social, has died.
The aged comic actor became a viral sensation after she started dishing out advise to her followers in a funny way.

Popular Nigerian media personality, Uti Nwachukwu, has berated Nigerians participating in the ‘Jesus’ challenge.
On Tuesday, gospel singer Nathaniel Bassey launched the Jesus challenge, in which Christians are encouraged to share an image with the name of Jesus boldly inscribed on it in order to unleash the power of Christ on the country.
“Can we make this our profile picture at 12 noon on all your social media handles? (WAT) in a few minutes Time. And also share as a post on your timeline and as your story. And for the rest of the day ??? And also declare that name into the atmosphere ! JESUS! Let the world ask what is going on. And we’ll tell them – JESUS IS GOING ON !” He wrote.
As instructed, Nigerians began uploading the images across all social media platforms, eliciting reactions from netizens.
One of those who were against the new challenge was Uti, and he expressed his thoughts about it in a video he shared online.
According to him, when he asked what the challenge was about, he was told that the participants were attempting to “bring Jesus to Nigeria to save us”.

The singer had taken to his Instagram page to ask Christians to post a graphics with “Jesus” written boldly in red on a white background on their social media pages and use it as their profile pictures.
He wrote on Tuesday, May 7,

He also likened it to fanaticism and stated that he has seen educated and exposed people do funny things in the name of religion.

Even if you educate people, religious fanaticism is hardly moderated by exposure or education.

Teenager killed after jumping in front of moving truck while trying new internet challenge
Some Indonesian teens have reportedly died as a result of a new social media trend that involves jumping in front of moving lorries.
The risky challenge, dubbed “challenge malaikat maut” (Angel of Death challenge), is gaining popularity across Southeast Asia, with participants filming themselves attempting the deadly stunts on TikTok.
In Tangerang, Banten, an 18-year-old was killed instantaneously after he and two of his friends rushed in front of a moving truck in an apparent attempt to stop it.
The teenager reportedly died on the spot while his friends managed to avoid the vehicle and only suffered injuries. He collided with the truck, rolled under the moving lorry and was crushed to death.
This comes after a 14-year-old fractured his skull and shattered his teeth after being struck by an HGV as he and a friend attempted to perform the same stunt.
Locals have reportedly tried to persuade teenagers not to endanger their lives by participating in the challenge, but their appeals have largely gone unheeded.
In related news, a woman is suing TikTok after her daughter died while attempting a viral challenge she saw on the app called the “blackout challenge.”
According to the Pennsylvania mother, Tawainna Anderson, her 10-year-old daughter choked to death after taking part in the risky social media challenge, and she has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against TikTok and its parent company, ByteDance.
In the lawsuit, Tawainna Anderson said her daughter, Nylah Anderson, participated in a ‘blackout challenge’ after it appeared on her ‘For You’ page in December.
The ‘blackout challenge’ urges users to try to hold their breath until they pass out, according to the lawsuit, which was filed in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania on Thursday.
In December 2021, Anderson rushed her daughter to the hospital after finding she passed out.
The 10-year-old spent nearly a week in a pediatric intensive care unit before she died from her injuries, the lawsuit said.
Tawainna Anderson accused TikTok of having a ‘defective design,’ and that the company’s algorithms are exposing young children to dangerous ideas.
“The viral and deadly TikTok Blackout Challenge was thrust in front of Nylah on her TikTok For You Page … as a result of TikTok’s algorithm, The TikTok Defendants’ algorithm determined that the deadly Blackout Challenge was well-tailored and likely to be of interest to 10-year-old Nylah Anderson, and she died as a result”, the lawsuit said.

Ghanaian music producer and on-air personality, Mr. Logic has asserted that 50% of the feminists in Ghana are lesbians.
Mr. Logic speaking on Accra-based UTV, said most feminists are one because they believe men are cheaters and liars which informs their decision to date women instead.
According to him, some lesbians are not romantically interested in women because of the pleasure they derive from them but because of their unreserved hate for men.
He added that when such women eventually find a man who genuinely loves them enough to marry them, they see it as the greatest honor of their lives.

“P-Square’s split was caused by family issues and not music” – Paul Okoye reveals
Nigerian singer, Paul Okoye, of the popular music group Psquare, has revealed the reason behind their split in 2017.
In an interview with media personality Joey Akan, Paul Okoye, now professionally known as Rude Boy, said family-related issues led to the disbandment of P-Square and not music.
The music duo, Peter and Paul Okoye who dominated the Nigerian music scene in the early 2000’s finally reconciled in November 2021 after an age-long feud.
During a conversation with Joey Akpan, Paul disclosed that their split had nothing to do with music.
“It was a family issue, it had nothing to do with music. And because I respect family so much, I owe nobody any explanation.” He said.
