On Monday, May 30, the Buga hitmaker took to Twitter to advise an unnamed individual not to fight God’s grace in his life.
Although it isn’t clear who or what Kizz Daniel was talking about, he promised to give his fans the full gist later.

A young Nigerian lady who was a guest at a recent wedding has got people talking with the outfit she donned for the event.
The yet-to-be identified lady arrived at the venue in a flowing, elegantly crafted crimson gown and could have easily been mistaken for the bride.
However, the bride, who appears to be a minimalist, is dressed simply in white and gold traditional attire with matching modest accessories.

A video showing the cars owned by students of a tertiary institution in Nigeria and those owned by lecturers of the same institution has gotten people talking online.
In the video filmed in the school’s parking lot, cool and expensive cars were parked in the students car park while fairly old and raggedy cars were parked in the lecturers car park.
The lady filming the video could be heard laughing hysterically as she compared both car parks and hailed the students for driving better cars.
The video was reportedly recorded in the Federal Polytechnic Ede, Osun State.

A woman said to be a victim of domestic abuse has died after she was allegedly battered by her husband.
According to the Twitter user @biraphil, who relayed the story on the micro-blogging platform, the woman was rushed to the hospital after she was severely beaten by her husband, but unfortunately she didn’t survive.
He said he was in the hospital to see his mum when he ran into the husband wailing after he was informed of his wife’s passing.
He claimed he got to know of the cause of the woman’s death after the man’s sister stated that he refused to listen when he was repeatedly warned to stop beating his wife.
He said doctors disclosed that the woman died of internal bleeding in the skull.
“So I’m at the hospital right now and this lady just died. She died due to series of beatings by her husband. Guess what? He’s lying on the ground weeping profusely. His sister is here with him and she’s saying in Yoruba language

Nigerian activist, Comrade Israel Joe has advised married women who engage in extra-marital affairs to apply their sense and decency.
He gave this advise via his Facebook page on Monday, May 30, while disclosing that a married woman was blackmailed by her lover whom she sent her nude photos to.

An Abuja-based couple have narrated how family planning contraception failed them.
The couple, Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Agbo, who live at Sabon-Tasha, Gwagwa, an Abuja suburb, used contraceptives to avoid having more children in addition to their five kids, but recently welcomed quadruplets.
The couple welcomed the quadruplets last Thursday, May 26, at a private clinic in Kubwa, Abuja.
Mr. Agbo stated that after having five children, he and his wife, Mercy, chose not to have any more. So his wife started family planning and was placed on contraceptives.
He revealed his wife had an implant contraception surgery at a local health center where they lived. They also supplemented with drugs from a pharmacy.
However, despite their efforts, the wife conceived and gave birth to four babies at once.
“But despite all these, she conceived and was confirmed to be carrying four babies after a scan. We then visited the Kubwa General Hospital where she had a second scan and the same thing was confirmed; even with the expected date of delivery next month.
“We had to rush back last Thursday as she started observing signs of delivery. She gave birth to the four babies without any operation.” Agbo told DailyTrust.
The chief medical consultant of the hospital, Dr Onogwu Joseph, on his part said, “I am not aware of the said use of contraception by the mother of the quadruplets. But I presume that if it had been properly used it should not have led to that.”
A church has reacted after a photo showing two people laying on each other on the church’s altar while a pastor and several church members put out their hands towards them, went viral and sparked outrage online.

The hearing of the suit seeking the dissolution of the six-year-old marriage began at an Ikeja High Court today May 30 with the actor telling the court how his estranged wife allegedly deserted their matrimonial home and denied him sex after welcoming their son.
While being interrogated by the respondent’s counsel, Mrs S.I. Amedu, Ikeagwu told the court that his wife packed out of their matrimonial home and sent him a mail that she was on her way to her father’s house in Enugu.
Nigerian media personality, Afam, has advised women about the dangers of moving abroad without being married or having a committed partner.
Afam, who remarked that it is difficult for single Nigerian girls to find a husband abroad, recommended individuals seeking to relocate to at least have a serious boyfriend in Nigeria before departing, in a series of Twitter thread.
He added that while a man can find himself a partner even in his 70s, it is not the same for a woman. He urged single Nigerian women in the diaspora to be deliberate about finding a man.
According to him, everyone needs somebody, and being lonely amid so much wealth can be depressing.
In his words,
“As a single Nigerian babe that moved to the US, Canada, or the West, you have to be conscious about getting a man, coz you can easily be carried away with making all that money, and wake up one morning alone in your 50s, with a house, car, no child, no partner. We live in a world where a man can wake-up in his 70s, and always find a woman to wife, but unfortunately, it is not the same for women. Don’t let anybody deceive you. This is reality. Everybody needs somebody. While you are making that money, please make conscious efforts to find a man.
Loneliness in the midst of so much wealth is very depressing. It is even worset when you don’t have a child. Ask those experiencing it, it’s not fun. Again, make a very conscious effort to find a man while making all that money. This is coming from a place of love. If you like insult your fada. When you are done, go find yourself a man. 💛

Nigerian iconic musician, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, known better as Wizkid and his manager/baby mama, Jada Pollock are reportedly expecting their second child.
IG blogger, The Tattle Room in a recent update on their page disclosed how the singer and his third baby mama, Jada P who live together in London were spotted on Sunday night, May 29th at an event.
Jada was said to have been spotted with a visible baby bump which cause her to stay away from cameras. Meanwhile, a photo which was shared by Jada on her IG story a while back, showing a possible baby bump also sorts of solidify the report.
Their post reads,
“Confirmed – Wizkid and his 3rd baby mama/manager, Jada, are expecting their second child.
The couple who live together in London were spotted together last night at an event in Atlanta, but according to our source, Jada who was spotted with a visible baby bump was made to stay away from cameras for obvious reasons.
Recall that last week, Jada gave us a glimpse of her baby bump via her IG story (Swipe).
Nollywood has been hit with yet another painful loss following the announcement of the demise of Actor Gbadebo Osmond.
His death was announced on social media by his colleagues who have taken to their respective pages to mourn him.
The cause of his death at the time of writing this is undisclosed.
Yomi Fabiyi took to his social media page to mourn the painful loss, he wrote;

Popular Nollywood actor Kalu Ikeagwu, on Monday, told the Ikeja High Court how his estranged wife, Ijeoma, allegedly deserted their matrimonial home and prevented him from gaining access to their two children, Peoples Gazette is reporting.

While being interrogated by the respondent’s counsel, Mrs S.I. Amedu, Ikeagwu told the court that his wife packed out of their matrimonial home and sent him a mail that she was on her way to her father’s house in Enugu.
In his words;
”I got back home from a trip on August 4, 2021 to find out that my wife had left our matrimonial home with the children to an undisclosed location. I tried to contact her when I got to the house and found it empty. I sent her an email on that same day and she replied that she had gone to her father’s house in Enugu.
She told me she was at her father’s place in Enugu and four days later, I saw her at the airport in Lagos, heading to God knows where. In the mail she sent, she said she was In Enugu.”
The actor who is also seeking full custody of his three-year-old son and ten-year-old step-daughter.
He further said;
“After the birth of our son, she has refused to have sex with me. I was not aware she lost the pregnancy due to an infection as I did not give her any infection. Till date, I have not seen any report attached to a document that she lost a baby through STD. Though I did not ask her why she lost the baby.”
“The last time I sent money to them was in November 2021. I stopped sending money because my wife denied me being a father to my step-daughter and she also accused me of wanting to sleep with her.”
“I want custody of the two children. The reason I sought for revocation was because my wife had turned my step-daughter against me and at that point, I got a hint that she wanted to fly the children abroad. I have never been married to any woman before I got married to my wife. I married her after she had her daughter.
I earlier said the issue of revocation was because I felt she wanted to use me. My Lord, look at the precedence on how I have treated the girl from the very beginning.
I am an actor by profession and I travel to locations within and outside Nigeria in which I can spend five days to one month.
At the moment, it may be difficult but I am thinking about the future when I remarry and get a stable wife.”
The presiding judge, Justice Christopher Balogun then said ;
“According to the Child’s Right Act, you can not deny the children the best education even if you’re quarreling with your wife. If I should as a judgment grant you a divorce, and if your wife is in Enugu and you stay in Lagos, why should I give the custody of a 10-year-old girl to you while her mother is alive?
The Supreme Court ruled that it is not the wealth of a father that the children of that age need, they need the care and attention of their biological mother.
The only reason the girl child should not be in the custody of the mother is if the mother is mentally derailed or the issue of infidelity is involved.
Assuming the girl starts her monthly period, you as a father do not know what to do. You will be scared of the blood. A female girl is delicate. Your own case is worse because an accusation has been leveled against you.”
The case was adjourned until June 23 for continuation of hearing
Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers state has finally broken silence days after he lost the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential primary.
The Governor addressed PDP supporters in Rivers state on Monday May 30, and he said that the primary witnessed betrayal, conspiracy, and people who cannot keep to agreement.
Wike alleged that some Southern Governors sabotaged his interest. He maintained that he contested in the primary “based on principle and agreement with all the southern governors and the leaders of the south that the presidency should go to the south”.
In his words;
“As far as I am concerned, there is nothing to worry about. I contested election based on principle and agreement with all the southern governors and the leaders of the south that the presidency should go to the south this period.
“We have done our own part and we never betrayed anybody, because it is not in our blood to betray. But it’s a shame to those people. Some of the governors from the south are the people they used to sabotage our interest. However, we have shown them that we are not like them. We have the capacity to do whatever is good for us.
“I don’t want to talk about some other people who cannot even win election in their own places. I’ve told them that this election, whoever emerges, I will support, and I am not going to go back.
“Yes, it may be painful to you, it may be painful to us, but we cannot abandon the party. And let me also say to those who do not understand, and who take Rivers state for a ride, now they have learnt their lesson. You need us. Forget about these people who have nothing to offer and who make noise up and down.
“I saw one governor who was dancing. Meanwhile, he did not win one delegate. I told Atiku Abubakar this afternoon when he came to see me that ‘some of the people following you here, they don’t have votes; they re empty.’ I have votes. I have something to offer. Do they have anything to offer?
“In 2019, I was the only governor from the south-south who never negotiated with the present government. They came and I said ‘no, I’m not going to be party to that.’ And that’s why APC never had 25 percent in his state. I said I was not going to sit down with them to negotiate.
“When you see people, they can’t confront me. They can’t face me. It’s merely envy. If somebody is bigger than you, somebody is bigger than you. I told them ‘look, it’s not to go back. If they give you vice-president, you need my support. So, you will come to me.’ PDP knows. Three states determine elections in Nigeria — Lagos, Kano and Rivers. Anybody who tries to say that Rivers state is nowhere, it’s at your own peril. If you want to bury yourself, let it be.
“So, for me, we have done what we are supposed to do. Leave history for those betrayers of their people. History will judge them. They will live and see how betrayers suffer. We have done our best and and the whole world has seen that we have done our best.”
Wike also averred that people have no right to complain about the south being referred to as the minority.
Annie Idibia, Nollywood actress and wife of singer 2Baba, and her management have debunked claims that she unfollowed him on Instagram.
It was earlier reported that the mother of two unfollowed 2Baba on the popular photo sharing platform, Instagram, amid his reunion with his baby mama, Pero, and their children in the US.
Fans of the couple had raised an alarm after they noticed that she was no longer following the singer on the platform but Annie’s management have said that several accounts have been unfollowed by her account without any explanation.
Annie’s management also averred that that the Nollywood Star and the award-winning singer “remain committed to their marriage and the care of their children.”
