Popular singer, Ikuforiji Olaitan Abdulrahman better known as Oxlade, has tendered a public apology to the lady in his leaked sex tape.

It can be recalled that the singer’s sex tape surfaced online last week and sparked different reactions from netizens on social media.

Nollywood actress, Oma Nnadi, has seemingly reacted to the death of a 19-month-old baby who was flogged mercilessly by his teacher in Delta state.

A 19-month-old baby, simply identified as Obinna, a pupil of Arise and Shine Nursery and Primary School in Asaba, Delta state, died on Saturday, February 12, after he was beaten by a teacher at the school.

According to Obinna’s mum, the teacher flogged her son mercilessly on Monday, leaving several marks of the cane on his body.

Following the incident, Obinna was taken to the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) in Asaba where he gave up the ghost on Saturday.

Reacting to the death of the minor, actress, Oma Nnadi asked what kind of parents take their one-year-old to school.

“Who takes a one year old to school. To go school what exactly and for what exactly. Please make una educate me? One year old? Inukwa bikonu. Online Lecturers , online teachers , food is served . 29-year-old Kenyan media personality, Kamene Goro, has said that she would not be having any children of her own.

Goro stated this in a recent interview and also gave reasons for her decision.

According to her, she is not ready to keep up with the sacrifices attached to child-bearing. She also noted that pregnancy journey is limiting and a lot more time consuming for her liking.

Osun palace reacts to viral letter of the Oluwo of Iwo soliciting N20m financial assistance for his wedding

The Palace of the Oluwo of Iwo land has reacted to a letter claiming the monarch is soliciting N20 million for his proposed wedding to a northern Princess.

The letter circulating on social media was addressed to the Osun State Governor and was dated February 8th 2022.

It reads;

“I have the instructions of His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr) Abdul-Rasheed Adewale Akanbi, the Oluwo of Iwo, to notify you of the Oluwo’s decision to marry a princess from Kano Emirate, to be precise Ado Bayero dynasty.

“I wish to remind Your Excellency that this kind of royal wedding within two notable traditional institutions in Nigeria, will require huge expenses, which necessitates support of state government financially even logistically.

“Moreover, the estimated amount for the event is above (N20,000,000:00) twenty million Naira.

“His Excellency, Oba Akanbi relies on you for necessary consideration and approval on this request.

“Thank you.”

The monarch has now reacted to the trending letter through his spokesperson, Alli Ibrahim. According to Alli, the palace didn’t write the letter and it was orchestrated by mischievous people to discredit the monarch.

His words,

“We read with total dismay, a letter purportedly said to emanate from the palace of Oluwo of Iwoland seeking financial assistance on his personal affairs, wedding.

“While we commend the enlightened public for their sense of fair judgment, we want to categorically state that the letter is fake and did not emanate from the palace of Oluwo.

“The said letter lacks basic in-house styles of Oluwo’s palace correspondence. Oluwo always appends his personal signature while writing the government.

“Equally, the font in the letter is not our official style. At the said date on the letter, Oluwo was not in the state up till now. And his secretary has no audacity, whatsoever, to sign on behalf of His Majesty while communicating with the government.

“The letter was orchestrated by mischievous people whose mission is to discredit the palace. Marriage is a personal affairs. There is no marriage venture too big for Oluwo to finance on his own. Those circulating such should exercise caution. Queen is coming but not in haste of the public demand.

“We enjoin reasonable individual to get their facts before jumping on the bandwagon.”

Veteran actress and evangelist, Eucharia Anunobi, has sparked mixed reactions on social media after she announced admission into the university of witchcraft.

In a video she shared on her Instagram page on Saturday, February 12, the thespian listed some of the courses that would be taught in the university and told interested candidates to get the admission form.

Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has reacted after the House of Representatives blamed Nollywood for the rising cases of ritual killings in Nigeria.

The House of Reps, at the plenary on Wednesday, February 9, had claimed that the Nigerian movie industry plays a major role in the surge in ritual killing cases, and called for the declaration of a state of emergency to address the menace.

Reacting to this, Yul took to his Instagram story to state that poverty and hunger should be blamed, not Nollywood. According to him, Nollywood only portrays things that are already happening in the society.

He further advised the Federal Government to fix the country and ritual killings will be a thing of the past.

He wrote: “From when I was a kid in the eighties, I started hearing about ritual killing in Nigeria. Then, there was no Nollywood. Hunger and poverty make people to do crime. A friend of Mubarak Sulaiman, who was killed during the robbery attack in Ibadan on Thursday, February 10, said the deceased had premonition of his death.

Sulaiman, a trained biomedical scientist, Arabic Language tutor, consultant, and coach, was hit by a stray bullet fired by the robbers who killed two police officers, two civilians and carted away millions of Naira from a bullion van in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.

While families and friends have taken to social media to mourn the death of their beloved, one of his friends, Akinkunmi Akinpelu, in a post shared on his Facebook said Sulaiman might have had a premonition of his death.

He shared a screenshot of the last conversation he had with Sulaiman, where he requested to make payment for a service immediately stating that he may not be alive the next day.

“Mubarak Sulaiman Olanrewaju You said you might die before tomorrow as if you have known that you’re going to killed today. I never knew you, but your demise hit me real deep, because like every other fathers like us who left home, we got back home but yours was to al barzakh (Life in the grave).

Actress, Dorcas Shola Fapson recovers her stolen car in Niger

Nollywood actress and disc jockey, Dorcas Shola Fapson, has revealed that she has recovered her stolen car.

Recall that the actress took to social media media months ago to cry out after her driver identified as Muhammad Adamu, allegedly absconded with her Range Rover.

According to her, the car was stolen on the evening of her birthday while she was preparing for her big day with family and friends.

Giving an update on the car, Dorcas revealed the driver gave it to someone to sell for him in the North but the person then stole the car from him and went to Niger state to sell it.

She said the car has now been retrieved from Niger by the police.

Sharing a video of the car, she wrote,

“UPDATE
So I got my car back! Long story short I hired a new driver through an agency, omo the bastard registered with fake documents & is a professional thief, he stole my car after 2 days. He passed the car onto someone to sell for him in the North who then STOLE the car from him & went to sell it in Niger Thank you to Nigerian police – IRT department who retrieved it in Niger even tho it cost A LOT of money.

Thank you to everyone that reached out to help The original driver is STILL on the run, his real name is Adamu Ahmed alias is Jahuz if you have any information on his whereabouts please contact officer David on 09061776658 & you WILL be rewarded ”.

A Nigerians Twitter user has stirred reactions after he shared a list of items he was given to contribute for his landlord’s burial.

According to the man identified as Oge Kings, his landlord’s son sent him the long list of items he was expected to contribute to the funeral.

The items included a goat, cartons of beer as well as monetary donation of N100,000.

“You never see anything sef. My landlord just died and his son wrote a list of items that I will give to him as his tenant for his burial rites.” He captioned a snapshot of the list.
