Cristiano Ronaldo’s girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez, has been slammed by her uncle for ‘forgetting her family’ since she met the footballer.
Speaking in an interview with The Sun, Georgina’s uncle Jesus Hernandez, claimed she abandoned her old family after moving in with her billionaire partner.
According to Jesus, he took care of the model at the age of four when her father was imprisoned for smuggling $100,000 worth of drugs till she became a teenager.
He said: “I was in charge of providing for Georgina and her sister, buying them clothes, paying for their electricity and water.
“I did everything. Georgina was living with me during her teenage years until the day they sent my brother-in-law back to Argentina.”

Cardi B wins $1M defamation suit against gossip blogger, Tasha K
American rapper, Cardi B has won her defamation lawsuit against gossip blogger and YouTuber, Latasha Kebe, known popularly online as Tasha K, and has been awarded $1.25 million in damages.
The jury’s verdict on the 24th of January, 2022 concluded a two-week federal trial during which the rapper testified that she had experienced extreme anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation due to Kebe’s claims.
Cardi had taken Kebe to court in 2019 over dozens of videos featuring wild allegations, among which was the high- (or low-)light that the rapper B “f–ked herself with beer bottles” onstage when she was working as a stripper.
Kebe also claimed that Cardi prostituted herself, was addicted to hard drugs, was unfaithful to her husband Offset, and had contracted herpes.
Cardi testified last week that she felt “extremely suicidal” over Kebe’s claims. “I felt defeated and depressed and I didn’t want to sleep with my husband,” she added, chalking up fatigue, weight loss, migraines and anxiety to the ordeal.
“Only an evil person could do that s–t,” Cardi reportedly said, subsequently apologizing to the court for her language.
Cardi disclosed as well that the herpes rumor in particular dogged her online, as some of Kebe’s million-plus followers harassed her over pictures of her kissing daughter Kulture on the lips and called her “Herpes B.”
Kebe also reportedly admitted in court that she had knowingly published lies about the rapper, but attempted to walk that statement back when her attorneys examined her. Ultimately, jurors sided with Cardi B on all three claims of defamation, invasion of privacy, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
They allotted $1 million for “general damages (pain and suffering and/or reputational injury)” and $250,000 for medical expenses. Tuesday proceedings will determine whether Tasha K will also owe more punitive damages or need to pay for Cardi B’s legal expenses.

Young man randomly picked up by the police is finally released after spending 2 years in prison
A young Nigerian man who was randomly picked up by the police has been released after spending two years in jail.
The man whose name wasn’t disclosed, was allegedly arrested while he was on his way home two years ago and has reportedly been behind bars since then.
According to lawyer and activist, Malachy Odo, who shared this on Twitter, the man has finally regained freedom today, January 25, after appearing at the Surulere Magistrate court.
Sharing a group photo with the young man, Malachy wrote,
“The young man in white shirt goes home today from Surulere Magistrate Court after 2 years in prison custody sequel to being picked up by the police at night on his way home.

Suspected serial phone thief arrested in Oyo, 16 iPhones and two laptops recovered from him (Photos)
Policemen of Felele Divisional Headquarters of Oyo State Command on Saturday January 22nd, arrested a 23-year-old man identified as Awoola Tobi, of Oleyo Ayegun road Ibadan, who is reported to be a habitual burglar in connection with a case of Burglary and Stealing which occurred at about 2000hrs on Thursday 28/12/2021 at Choice Plaza, Challenge area Ibadan were mobile phones and accessories to the tune of about (#2,000,000) two million naira were allegedly stolen.
In a statement released by SP Adewale Osifeso, spokesperson of the state police command, stated that after painstaking and diligent investigations, the culprit was tracked and apprehended in possession of the following items which were hitherto reported stolen.
These recovered items include; (16) Sixteen i-Phones, a white earpiece, one unbranded white-colored earpod, a Sony Vio laptop, one Dell laptop, and a black shuttle bag.
The police spokesperson also stated that preliminary investigations and voluntary confessions were made by the suspect where he revealed that he broke into the mobile phone and accessories shop situated at Choice Plaza, Challenge Ibadan, unaided, with the intention of stealing and re-selling the items.
The Oyo State Police Command seeks the cooperation of the good people of the State in providing credible and timely information to help apprehend his accomplices.

In a statement released on his official Instagram page, the singer confessed he had an intimate relationship with another woman in the US in 2021. He also noted that he would be stepping down from ministry until he gains full restoration.
In a new development, an American lady who claims to be the one the singer cheated on his wife with has now spoken up.
In a chat with YouTuber, Obodo Naija TV, the Texas-based lady said she met Sammie in Texas when he was on a tour in the US and he invited her to his hotel where they spent the night together.
Sharing screenshots of her chats with the gospel singer, she said they were in a relationship for months and spent time together until she discovered she was pregnant in January.

A Spanish woman, Jasmine Alicia Carter, has revealed that she collects, drinks and applies her own menstrual blood on her skin.
The 30-year-old woman, who is married with a child, claims the blood is rich in nutrients and helps to boost her physical and spiritual health.
“It’s rich with protein, iron, copper, selenium which many women are so depleted of. It contains regenerative stem cells and it has antimicrobial as well as detoxifying properties.”
“Your menstrual blood is pure medicine. If you can collect your period blood, there are so many things you can do with it and ways it can benefit your health and wellbeing,” she said.
She says she also applies her fresh menstrual blood on her face as face masks, and uses it to create artworks.
According to her, her husband approves of it and doesn’t have a problem with her walking around the house with menstrual blood on her face.
Explaining how she collects the blood, Jasmine says she squats on the toilet, removes her menstrual cup and takes a sip.

The screenshots of a conversation of a guy and his supposed best friend who slept with his wife-to-be has sparked reactions after the chats were shared on social media.
In a bid to elicit opinions from netizens, a Twitter user shared the screenshots of a chat between two guys and asked for their thoughts on the matter.
From the chats, it was discovered that a guy slept with his best friend’s girlfriend when the couple were not on good terms — the guy who committed the mischief then confessed to his best friend around the moment the latter was going to propose to his wife-to-be.
The guy who made the confession then asked his best friend to see his confession as helping him dodge a bullet because it doesn’t feel it right he should spend the rest of his life with someone who has the potential of cheating on him.

“Marriage ain’t it. I 100% do not recommend nor encourage it” – South African married woman advises
A South African married woman has taken to Twitter to advise single folks against getting married because marriage is a sham.
The lady with Twitter handle @KayFeeLow stated that although she loves her husband, she doesn’t recommend or encourage marriage.
According to her, people are better off being alone than getting hitched with someone else.
She tweeted, “I love my husband so much but let me tell you, marriage ain’t it. I 100% do not recommend nor encourage it. You’re better off alone.”

Popular reality TV star and model, Omashola Oburoh, has welcomed a baby boy with his fiancée.
The new dad took to his official Instagram page on Tuesday morning, January 25, to share the good news with his teeming fans and followers.
An excited Omashola shared a video of himself popping a bottle of wine and in the caption revealed he and his fiancée have welcomed their first child together.

A US-based Nigerian man was left devastated and attempted suicide after the woman he married in Nigeria deceived him into bringing her family and lover into the US and later filed for a divorce from him.
According to a Twitter user, Akwari Charles, who shared the heartbreaking story on the micro-blogging platform, the said lady never had anything intimate to do with the man as she told him that she’s a devout Christian and wanted to wait till they were married.
Charles said the lady insisted on having a white wedding in the US and she wanted her family to be present, so she made the man apply for visas for them and brought them to the US.
After her goal of bringing her family aboard was achieved, she reportedly filed for divorce from the man, and it was later discovered that a guy who she claimed was a step brother was actually her boyfriend.

Gospel singer, Sammie Okposo, tenders public apology to his wife for cheating on her
Popular Nigerian gospel artiste, Sammie Okposo, has tendered a public apology to his wife, Ozioma, for cheating on her.
In a statement shared on his official Instagram page on Monday, January 24, the ‘Wellu Wellu’ crooner confessed to having had an intimate affair with another woman when he travelled to the US in 2021.
He said he is ashamed of his action and regrets it as it has caused a lot of pain to his wife and family. Speaking further, he noted that he will be suspending all ministry works for now until he regains full restoration.
The statement reads,
“Dear Friends,
I need to bring a very unfortunate incident to your attention as I am not proud of it but know that this is the right thing to do. On my recent trip to the USA (Late 2021), I got intimately involved with a lady, knowing that this was not appropriate as a married man and a minister of the gospel. I am ashamed and regret my actions as it has caused a lot of pain to my dear wife, Ozioma, my family and I.
As I work in making peace with God, repenting and asking for His forgiveness, I am suspending myself from all ministry work until full restoration as this is what is proper and what I know I owe God and His people.
To my wife, Ozioma. I am sincerely sorry I put you through this shameful and embarrassing situation. I broke your trust and disappointed you. Your forgiveness of my moral failure and poor judgement is important to me. I pray I will eventually be able to build back the trust and confidence every single day for the rest of my life.
I want to take this moment and apologize to all Fathers and Mothers of the Faith and ministers of the Gospel for my behavior and moral failure. I won’t be here if not for your investment and belief in what God has called me to do. I sincerely apologize for this embarrassing situation.
To all that have been a part of my ministry, followed my ministry or know me personally, I am truly sorry for disappointing you. I regret any pain or disappointment that this news of my moral failure and poor judgement may cause you and I am truly sorry for disappointing you. I humbly ask that you continue to pray for me….
