Nigerian singer, Paul Okoye also known as Rudeboy, has taken to social media to pose an interesting financial question to women.
In a post he shared on his Instagram story, the singer asked women if they can use all their monthly income to buy human hair.
He wrote,

The question has generated different responses on social media as both men and women weigh in on the conversation.
Some women asserted that they would save the money over a period of time, instead of paying for the hair at once.
However, men averred that women are very frugal with their own money but enjoy spending a man’s money. According to them, women would never spend their hard-earned money recklessly.

The 24-year-old lady, Olanipekun Ifeoluwa Oladayo, who was reportedly arrested by police officers in Ogun state for buying contraceptive has broken her silence.
Oladayo’s sister had taken to Twitter to raise alarm after she was allegedly arrested and detained by some police officers in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital for being in possession of contraceptive.
Narrating the event that led to her arrest, the 24-year-old noted that police officers who arrested her accosted her and when they found the drugs with her asked “why she was having sex”.
She further revealed that she was locked up until her friends who came to check up on her at the police station paid N2000 for her release.

The Ogun State Police command has denied arresting a student of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Olanipekun Oladayo Irenimofe, for buying a pregnancy test kit and contraceptive.
The lady’s sister had taken to Twitter to raise alarm, claiming that she was arrested and detained at the Oluwo Police post in Abeokuta, for buying pregnancy test kit and contraceptive.

A young Nigerian lady has reportedly been arrested by the police for buying contraceptives and pregnancy test strips in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
According to a Twitter user identified as Olukoya Oluwatosin, who claimed to be the sister of the victim and took to the platform to seek help, the young lady, a student of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, was arrested and detained at the police post in Oluwo, Abeokuta.
She revealed that the lady was later charged to the Ogun state police headquarters, Elewa Eran.
Taking to Twitter to seek help, while sharing photos of the lady in police custody, Oluwatosin wrote,

Meanwhile, a Nigerian evangelist, Gideon Akande, is of the opinion that any Christian woman who likes wearing high heeled shoes is married to the world.
The clergyman took to his Facebook page to share his opinion which has now stirred controversy on social media. According to him, high heeled shoes are a ‘worldly’ fashion item and any Christian woman who wears it is not truly born again because “her soul is in the world“.
Speaking further, Evangelist Akinde averred that no godly, chaste and modest woman can ever be caught wearing a high heeled shoe.

A Nigerian-American man, identified as Fayemi Ifatonuola, has shared a video of how he got initiated into Ifa worship after discovering his ancestral roots.
Fayemi who is based in Texas, US, took to video sharing platform TikTok to mark his one year anniversary of travelling to Nigeria to connect with his roots.
He visited Ile-Ife Ife in Osun state and underwent the initiation rites into Ifa worship. He also disclosed that he bought a piece of land in the community.

American rapper, Kanye West has replied to his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian, after she claimed to be the main provider for their kids.
The drama started after the fashion designer shaded Kim for letting their 8-year-old daughter, North West, have a TikTok account without his permission.
“Since this is my first divorce, I need to know what I should do about my daughter being on Tik Tok against my will.” He wrote.
On seeing this, Kim took to her Insta-stories to react with a lengthy post. Kim explained that she’s doing her best to protect her daughter and at the same time allow her to express her creativity.
Kim Kardashian went on to note that she’s the main provider for their children and Kanye’s constant attacks on her in interviews and on social media are actually more hurtful than any TikTok their 8-year-old daughter might create.

The suspects, identified as Balogun Mustaqeem, 20; Majekodunmi Soliudeen, 18; Abdulgafar Lukman, 19; and Waris Oladeinde, 18, were arraigned on two counts of conspiracy and murder following their arrest on Saturday, January 29.
The suspects were apprehended on Saturday while they were burning the head of their victim, who is said to be a girlfriend to one of them, in a pot for a money ritual.
The prosecutor, Lawrence Balogun, told the court that the defendants committed the offence on January 28 at about 11:00 in the Kugba area of Abeokuta.
The prosecutor, who noted that the defendants murdered the victim with the plan to use her for money ritual, further disclosed that the offence committed contravenes sections 324 and 316 of the Criminal Code Laws of Ogun 2006.
The presiding judge, I. O. Abudu, did not take the plea of the defendants and ordered that they should be remanded in prison custody.
Abudu ordered that the defendants be remanded in the Oba correctional facility pending legal advice from the Ogun State Director of Public Prosecution (DPP).She adjourned the case until March 14 for mention.
It was gathered that the court premises was filled to the brim as the victim’s family and other sympathisers trooped to the court to witness the arraignment.
