The clergyman took to his Facebook page to share his opinion which has now stirred controversy on social media. According to him, high heeled shoes are a ‘worldly’ fashion item and any Christian woman who wears it is not truly born again because “her soul is in the world“.

Speaking further, Evangelist Akinde averred that no godly, chaste and modest woman can ever be caught wearing a high heeled shoe.

Sharing a photo of a red high heeled shoes, he wrote, “A Christian woman who like wearing high heel shoes is married to the world; she may be in the church, but her soul is in the world. You will NEVER see a godly, chaste and modest Christian lady wearing high heel shoe.”

As planned, his girlfriend placed a call to his bestfriend and told him that she has had feelings for him for a while but couldn’t say anything because of her boyfriend.

Initially, the said bestfriend was skeptical about her revelation but eventually admitted that he has also had eyes for her.

He further agreed to hangout with his friend’s girlfriend and to make matters worse, stated that he is already thinking of kissing her.

Afo who was listening the whole time, was extremely disappointed by his friend’s betrayal and stormed out of the scene.

The 18-year-old Nigerian striker, Silas Nwankwo has completed a move to Swedish outfit Mjällby AIF from Nasarawa United.

Silas was the joint-Top scorer in the 2020/21 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL). He recorded 19 goals with eight assists to share the award with Charles Atshimene of Akwa United.

Silas joins Mjallby AIF of Sweden on a four-year deal until 2025. Hasse Larsson the sports director of Mjallby AIF in a statement in the official website of the club revealed that the club was delighted to have signed Nwankwo.

In other news, a four-year-old boy, identified as Jarion Walker, accidentally shot himself in the head after he found his dad’s gun in the backseat of a car.

It was gathered that the 4-year-old was sitting in the back seat with his two younger siblings, aged 22 months and 1 year, when tragedy struck in the city of Westwego near New Orleans, USA.

He was immediately rushed to a hospital where he died of his injuries at around 10:45pm on Saturday, January 29.

According to authorities, his mum was in the front seat smoking weed with another adult when the unfortunate incident happened.

“It was a contact wound to the forehead, right above the right eyebrow,” Coroner Gerry Cvitanovich said.

The police have not made any arrests but detectives confirmed that an investigation will take place.
