Ronald Fenty, father of globally-renowned singer, Rihanna, has reacted following the news that the singer is expecting her first child with her boyfriend, A$AP Rocky.

The international popstar gave the new on Monday, January 31 during a photoshoot with her lover.

Reacting to the incredible news from his home in Barbados, Ronald told Page Six, “I’m so happy that I jumped for joy. I’m still so excited.”

“Rihanna always said that she wanted children, she loves kids. She always takes care of her cousins’ kids…she’s going to be a good mom.” He added.

A$AP Rocky frist met Rihanna’s dad, Ronaldo in December 2020, when she brought him to her dad’s house on the Caribbean island he lives on.

Ronald in the chat with Page Six describe A$AP a cool guy and he noted that he likes him.

“A$AP is a very cool guy and “I like him”, he said.

Nollywood actress, Omoni Oboli, has reacted after an entitled follower called her out for not helping during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The lady had sent the actress a message in 2020, requesting financial assistance because her husband lost his job and their son is gravely ill.

The lady who didn’t get any response from Omoni Oboli at the time sent another message yesterday, recounting how she waited “for alert”. She added that God had remembered her and blessed her and her husband with good jobs.

Reacting to this, Omono Oboli shared a screenshot of the chat and berated the lady for her sense of entitlement.

Oboli explained that although she didn’t see the initial message, she’s glad the incident taught the lady a vital lesson in life, that “Nobody is coming to save you.”

In a lengthy Instagram post, the actress wrote,

“I came across this in my dm a few days ago and it seriously dampened my spirit! If you followed me during the lockdown, you will testify to the fact that I did giveaways everyday! Millions was given away on this platform. As a matter of fact, I decided I was never giveaways anymore after that period for so many reasons.

It’s the entitlement that kills me! Like seriously! Do you know how hard I work! I’m up when your ass is in bed! WORKING! A Nigerian lady has taken to Twitter to share her weird experience after her car broke down on 3rd Mainland Bridge, Lagos.

According to @sokaagu on Twitter, she and her friend who was in the car with her, was accosted by some thugs on the bridge who collected their money, disconnected her battery and used a POS machine to collect more money from her – all this while threatening to assault her.

She said after they finished robbing them, the guys told her they are not thieves and she was supposed to “settle them”.

She said the same guys went on to return her phone and helped her fix her car before making away with their money.

Taking to his official Twitter handle on Monday, January 31, the cinematographer said it’s high time young boys were made to understand that people make money through legitimate means.

This comes after an 18-year-old boy connived with three of his friends to kill his girlfriend for money ritual purposes in Ogun state.

While being paraded by news men the suspects who confessed to the crime said they learnt the practice on Facebook.

According to Twitter user, @enoyong1, he got married to his wife, they relocated from Nigeria and also had their first child in only a matter of three years. He then asks if they moved too fast in doing all of this is such time.

A Nigerian man has taken to Twitter to narrate his encounter with a teenage boy who came to a local restaurant in a Benz and offered to pay for everyone’s food.

According to the man identified as Okoye Cardinal, he visited his favourite Ofe Akwu joint to buy food when the boy, who he claims should be in his teens, pulled up in a Benz.

Okoye said that upon arriving at the joint, the teenager announced that he would pay for the food of everyone present, but he (Okoye) declined the offer.

He said he declined the offer because he doesn’t know the source of the boy’s wealth and didn’t want to be a victim of money ritual, as it might be a new tactic.

Narrating the incident, he wrote,

Man reportedly loses testicle after being shot by a fetish priest during a fight over his wife

A 24-year-old man identified as Kwasi Peters has reportedly lost one of his testicles after being shot by a fetish priest during a fight at Dwenewoho in Ahafo Ano, South West District of the Ashanti Region of Ghana.

It was said that the fight ensued after Kwasi accused the priest of sleeping with his wife. Kwesi, while speaking with the media at Dwenewoho, said he confronted the priest after seeing him with his wife in compromising positions on several occasions.

“I never believed rumours about the affair between the priest and my wife until I saw the two going on errands on several occasions mostly around 11 p.m. in the night.

“I confronted him when my wife’s attitude confirmed her affair with the priest but he shot me in the process.

This is not the first time he’s sleeping with a married woman, we have evidence of his acts in our community and so I could not sit down for him to destroy my marriage”. He said.

The priest has been arrested and currently detained at Mankranso Police pending further investigation.

Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, has said that a post-mortem test carried out on the body of Fadlullah Agboluaje, the 19-year-old Nigerian student who died a day after arriving in Ukraine, revealed that he died of extreme cold.

The sister of the deceased had taken to social media to call on the government to investigate his death after he was found dead on the floor of his room on Monday, January 10, barely a day after he arrived Ukraine.

Speaking on Monday, January 31, during a condolence visit to the family, Abike Dabiri-Erewa confirmed that the autopsy result showed the teenager died of extreme cold, adding that the school shouldn’t have accommodated the Nigerian in a facility that exposed him to such weather.

“The autopsy says he died of extreme cold, but how could they have lodged the boy in a hostel without a heater? Looking at the pictures of the room, he was put in a deplorable condition and there were no heaters in the room, in a temperature which is below 4°,” she said.

“I’m sure if they had informed him earlier, he would have brought his own heater. I’m here today and we will stand by the family and whatever it is, we can do to support the family on whatever decision they take on this matter.” She said.

The grieving mother, Mrs Musleemah Agboluaje also narrated how her son had complained that the heater in the room was not working and asked that it be fixed but got no response from the receptionist on duty.

Mrs Agboluaje said her late son had dreams of becoming a footballer and was admitted to studying Sports Science before the unfortunate incident.

The 18-year-old lad, Soliu Majekodunmi, who connived with three of his friends to murder his girlfriend, Sofiyah, for suspected money ritual purposes has confessed to learning the practice through Facebook.

Soliu was paraded before newsmen on Monday, January 31, where he revealed that he typed “how to make money ritual” on Facebook and got the detail, adding that the link instructed him to behead and burn a female skull in a local pot.

Majekodunmi went on to reveal that he conspired with his friend, Mustakeem Balogun, and two others to lure Sofiyah to their apartment in the Oke Aregba area of Abeokuta, where she was killed.

The group confessed to killing the girl, claiming they concluded on money ritual because they wanted to ride exotic cars and live in luxury apartments. The suspects also added that they purchased three pigeon eggs known as ‘Eyin Aparo’ in Yoruba language and other fetish ingredients which they added in the local pot.

The Kenyan lady who fast-rising Nigerian singer, Portable, rudely spoke to in a video trending online has finally broken her silence.

It was earlier reported that the Zazu Zeh star turned down a “hookup” proposal from a lady at an outdoor spot in Mombasa, Kenya.

Portable is heard telling the lady who approached him while he was out with his friends that she should go with her big butt because they weren’t there for hookup.

“We are not here for hookups. You can go, go with your big ny@sh ” He said.

Sharing her side of the story, the lady identified as Peris in a message she sent to the Instagram log, IB9JA, said that, contrary to Portable’s claim, she had met him for an interview for her Youtube Channel.

“I had only approached him for an interview for my YouTube channel. All of a sudden they started saying some things I couldn’t understand so I had to take my leave. I don’t know why Portable and his friends recorded that video and insinuated I approached them for hookup. I only approached them for an interview”. She said.

A 23-year-old Nigerian lady has taken to social media to show off her older white lover.

Sharing the video on the popular video sharing platform, TikTok, the young lady revealed her husband would be turning 60 this year while she would be turning 24.

In the video, the pair explored a couple of beautiful settings and went on a romantic date.

The difference in their ages, however, generated mixed reactions from netizens. While some social media users gushed over the couple and noted that age is just a number, others had contrary opinions.

“I had three miscarriages with no medical explanation” — Comedian AY’s wife, Mabel Makun opens up

Mabel Makun, wife of popular comedian, Ayo Makun a.k.a AY, has disclosed that she had three miscarriages before welcoming her second child with the comedian after 13 years of waiting.

The mum of two took to Instagram to share her heartwarming testimony as she opened up on the medical challenges she went through with her last pregnancy.

According to her, the same thing that happened with the pregnancies she lost almost happened again but this time, she decided to hold on to God and he didn’t fail her.

Sharing a video of her pregnancy journey, Mabel wrote,

“This will definitely trigger my emotions,the plan was to close/open my eyes and make it all disappear but then again I thought to myself, Mabel you have to encourage someone out there.

Three miscarriages with no medical explanations as to the reasons why. It was the same pattern as before,every single thing that happened with the others, happened again, only this time more but I was determined to hold on tight to God and not fail.

Anal bleeding, threatened miscarriage, difficulty in breathing, I wasn’t psychologically and mentally stable and that was the hardest part for me, my emotions were all over the place, taking a deep breath in and out to stop myself every time I felt the urge to just break down and cry, struggling within not to blame myself for not protecting and fighting for the survival of the babies I lost, placenta separation, weak uterus.

Truthfully I was exhausted, how I got here today is not something that I can explain but I just know that God was and is still with me and Ayomide,for this we are eternally grateful 🙏

You are God all by yourself and you will never share your glory with anyone.

From the depth of my heart,I want to thank you all for the messages, prayers and yes the love is overwhelming. God bless you all for me 🙏❤️❤️❤️”

“BBNaija is N100m in 3 months” – Mixed Reactions as Kogi State University reportedly awards N2000 to first-class graduates

An alleged N2000 cash prize awarded by Kogi State University to its first class graduates has sparked reactions from Nigerians on social media.

A Twitter user who claimed to have witnessed the presentation of the awards, posted a snapshot of the cheque and captioned it, “This was at a recent convocation at Kogi State University. N2000 was given to all first-class graduating students and N5000 to the overall best graduands.”

In reaction, Nigerians compared the prizes given by the school to reward academic excellence to the grand prize winners of popular reality show, Big Brother Naija, walks home with.

Popular Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has splashed millions of naira on a brand new Toyota Venza for his personal logistics manager, Isreal DMW.

Sharing a video which captured the moment an overly excited Isreal received the car keys, the music executive commended him for his loyalty.

“Loyalty pays @isrealdmw love you”, Davido captioned the video.

In the video that was shared online, Israel, who couldn’t contain his joy, prostrated for his boss, laid on the car at some point, and even attempted to lift his boss off his feet in appreciation.

The latest car owner also took to his Instagram page to announce his latest achievement.

“I’m now a car owner. Thanks to my Oga”, He wrote.

This comes after after Isreal was shamed on social media for allegedly not owning a car.

He was spotted jumping bikes in the Ekpoma area of Edo state. In the video making rounds online, he was captured walking on foot before he eventually hopped on a bike.

The viral video was greeted with mixed reactions after it hit the internet and Israel was dragged for not being able to afford a car, despite working for Davido.

Reacting to the backlash, Israel, however, took to his IG story to shun the trolls while noting that he won’t do anything illegal to impress social media users.

Popular gospel singer, Sammie Okposo, has returned to Instagram after he deactivated his account following the controversy that trailed his infidelity confession.

It can be recalled that the singer took to social media to publicly apologize to his wife for cheating on her in 2021. However, the lady he cheated with disclosed that the affair resulted in a pregnancy and she intends to keep the baby.

Following the heat that emanated from the affair, Sammie Okposo went on a social media hiatus and deactivated all his accounts.

Well, the singer has now made a comeback on Instagram with a new photo of himself, while noting that there’s no condemnation in Christ.

According to him, Jesus is still crazy about him and He loves him just the way he is.

He wrote;

“I am the righteousness of God in Christ. I am born of God the life of God is in me; Christ in me the hope of glory I am free from the law, from the power of sin. I am no longer bound by the fear of men.

“God’s grace is available sufficient and working for me. Jesus already saved me not because of any works of righteousness that I have done, but because of His own compassion and mercy, by the cleansing of the new birth (spiritual transformation, regeneration) and renewing by the Holy Spirit.

“Jesus is crazy about me, He loves me just the way I am. Christ has redeemed me. I live free, all my fears and mistakes are drowned in God’s perfect Love. There is, therefore, no condemnation to me.
