Nollywood actor, Jim Iyke, has admitted that his much-publicized fight with his controversial colleague, Uche Maduagwu, was a publicity stunt.
He made this known during a recent interview with media personality, Chude Jidonwo.
Recall that in August 2021, Jim Iyke tracked Uche down to his residence and physically confronted him for questioning the source of his wealth and labelling him a ‘ritualist’. Watch here.
The fight was the hottest topic on social media at the time and netizens marked Jim Iyke as a no-go area for social media trolling.
However, some netizens argued that the fight was a publicity stunt for a movie the actor released during that period, with a similar storyline.
Well, Jim Iyke has now admitted that the fight was orchestrated for publicity and Uche was paid handsomely for it.
According to him, he had spent over 20 million on promoting the movie but it didn’t get much traction from Nigerians so he decided to tap into Nigerians’ thirst for gossip and bad news to promote the move, and it worked!
The 45-year-old actor added that he is too strategic to jeopardize the success of his film by getting into a real fight with Uche.

After being dragged for visiting Nigerian politician Dino Melaye in a hotel, popular socialite, Roman Goddess has finally reacted.
In 2020, the Instagram model got people talking after she shared a video of herself visiting former lawmaker Dino Melaye, who she described as her “uncle and daddy” in a hotel.
Following the controversy that trailed the video, Dino Melaye later took to his social media page to warn her that he is not her ‘uncle’ and Roman Goddess immediately apologized for sharing the video and explained that she wasn’t trying to jeopardize his image as a public figure.
However, Roman Goddess during an Instagram an live session recently addressed those still dragging her over her visit to the politician.
According to her, she’s not married as the man she loves doesn’t care about her, so people should allow her to do whatever makes her happy.

“Will real justice be served?” – Actor, Okon Lagos speaks on Sylvester Oromoni’s case as he vows never to send his children to boarding school
Nollywood actor, Imeh Bishop Umoh popularly known as Okon Lagos, has taken to social media to ask if real justice will be served in the Sylvester Oromoni case.
Recall that the 12-year-old student of Dowen College died on November 30 after he was allegedly beaten and tortured by his seniors in the hostel.
The five students Sylvester allegedly mentioned before he died and three housemasters, who were arrested in connection with his death, have all been released.
According to the Lagos state Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, the autopsy carried out on Sylvester’s body does not indicate that he was murdered.
Reacting to the dramatic twist and turns of the case, the comic actor in an Instagram page, questioned if justice will ever be served. He also vowed never to send his children to a boarding school except their safety is guaranteed.
“I have never boarded in a hostel in secondary school. The only time I did, I was in SS3. With the death of Sylvester and the post death dramatic twist of events very fresh in memory, I will NO ALLOW my kids in a boarding school. If I may, then it will be if and only if like and health security is HUGELY guaranteed. Even at that, I’m still doubtful.”

James Brown recounts how a guy fell in love with him while in prison (video)
Nigerian crossdresser, James Brown, has recounted how a male inmate fell in love with him while he was in prison some years back.
The internet celebrity who recently opened up on his traumatic experience in Ikoyi Prison, claimed one of the guys in the cell with him fell head over heels for him by the third day.
Recounting the experience in an interview with Hip TV, James Brown said,
“I went to prison for two months. They put me in a prison for only guys and it was pretty intense. When I got there, they gave me welcome beating. They beat me till my wrist started shifting. And funny enough on the second or third day, a guy fell in love with me. I am still in contact with him in a way but I don’t have plans of going back there. Holy ghost fire.”
Noting that he has no gender preference when it comes to dating, he urged men and women who are interested in him to shoot their shots.
“If you want to toast me, enter my DM. Guys or ladies anyone. I don’t have options now.” He added.

The controversial rapper and popular Nigerian singer, Burna Boy, recently had a heated exchange on social media, and in the heat of the drama, Shatta Wale seemingly admitted to having raped Burna’s girl.
“Because he is a rapist, He is jealous I did same to his girl. Cuz that’s his job, Raping jealousy”. He tweeted.
However, a quick check on the tweet which sparked outrage on the micro-blogging platform shows it has been taken down by Twitter and a message of deletion which reads, “This Tweet is no longer available because it violated the Twitter Rules.” was attached to it.

Nollywood Actresses, Iyabo Ojo and Fathia Williams have kicked off the new year by quashing their two-year-old beef and the fans love to see it.

Househelp who fled with her madam’s son in Lagos arrested in Ogun
A 14 year old househelp, Favour Iwuozor, was on 3rd of January 2022, nabbed by men of the Ogun state police command for abducting her boss’s 2 years old son.
On December 31, 2021, it was reported of how the suspect fled with the victim on December 19. Moses Otojareri, the father of the victim who spoke to LIB revealed that the suspect who was employed in the second week in November, fled with his son.
According to Moses, the suspect attended a church service with his wife and their two children. His wife however received a call from one of her customers and she left the suspect and her children in church, instructing Favour to ensure they all return to her shop after the church service. Favour however fled with their son.
In an update on Tuesday morning, January 4th, spokesperson of the Ogun state police command, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, said the suspect was arrested following a complaint lodged at Sagamu divisional headquarters by one Victoria Nwafor, who reported that she saw a 14 year old girl on the 22nd of December 2021, with a very sick two year old boy in Yaba Lagos.
She went on to reveal that the little girl was begging for alms under the pretense that the small boy is her younger brother and that their parents died in an accident in December 2020.
Out of compassion, the woman took both of them to her house in Sagamu in order to take care of the little boy’s deteriorating health condition.
But immediately the boy fully recovered, the suspect wanted to single-handedly take the boy to Imo state. This aroused the woman’s suspicion, hence her report.
Upon the report, the Dpo Sagamu division, CSP okiki Agunbiade detailed his detectives to go and bring the girl and the little boy.
On interrogation, the girl confessed that she was a maid to the mother of the little boy, and that she left with the boy since on the 19th of December 2021, with the intention of taking the boy to Amraku Umorsu in Isiala/Mberna local government area of Imo state.
She stated further that, she took the baby from the church during Sunday school period, and since the Sunday school teacher knows her with the baby’s mother, she had no problem releasing the baby to her. She explained further that she decided to beg for alms in order to raise transport fare to Imo state. ” Oyeyemi said
The police spokesperson added that the Commissioner of police CP Lanre Bankole ordered that the baby’s parents be contacted, while the case be forwarded to Lagos state command whose jurisdiction the crime was actually committed.

Two teenagers caught while allegedly trying to use a 14-year-old girl for rituals in Bayelsa (photos/videos)
There was pandemonium in Sagbama Local Government Area of Bayelsa state after two teenage boys were caught while allegedly trying to use a 14-year-old girl for money ritual purposes.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Monday, January 3, at Sagbama Federated community.
It was gathered that the boys said to be 16 years old, lured the girl with their charm to an uncompleted building to carry out their evil plans.
However, they ran out of luck when they were caught by a passerby who saw them and suspected their ‘ill movement’.
Although the details of the incident are quite sketchy, photos and videos showing the young boys after they were apprehended has been shared online.
In the photos, one of them could be seen holding a mirror while the other one held some unidentified objects.
One of the boys is said to be the son of the traditional ruler of Amanana-owei community.

Taking to her official Instagram page on Tuesday, January 4th, the mother of four noted that she woke up upset in her spirit thinking about the trauma her kids are going through because of her absence.
She added that world and her sons have been told that she’s “insane and incapable of looking after them even though their best moments were with her”.
According to her, it’s heart-wrenching to helplessly watch her triplets, who were already walking at age 2, now being carried like handicapped kids and staggering whilst trying to walk with nannies.
Precious revealed she’s praying to get reunited with her children and shared some of the memories she hopes to make with them when they finally reunite.
“My darling triplet sons.
Today the 4/1/2022 i woke up so upset in my spirit. I’ve tried so hard to overlook certain treatments to you that has now become a norm which evidently is so unfair to you. The world and you have been told your mother s insane and incapable of looking after you, but your best moments were obviously with your mother. You weren’t caged like pets that are only to be displayed and not allowed freedom. At two years , you all were already walking as i made sure you were allowed freedom to ambulate and strengthen your limbs. Now i have to helplessly watch you all stagger whilst trying to walk with nannies and strangers at every visit carrying you in every pictures like handicapped kids .I can share lots of videos that I personally made with the three of you running around both on ground and in a pool with your legs strong at 2years including these one I’ve got on this post. You will be 4years in 4months and still can’t be allowed to stand in pictures or feed yourselves? I am not even getting started on the trauma you are all managing unconsciously, wondering if you would ever see your mom again. As a your mother, this is troubling let alone for toddlers. I pray every second for each one of you Aragorn , Ragnar , Adien and Liam.

Furnish us with scriptural proof that Jesus collected tithe from his followers – Daddy Freez tackles philanthropist, Kokun, over his comment on tithing
Media personality, Daddy Freeze, and philanthropist, Olukokun Adepeju, better known as Kokun, recently clashed on social media over tithing.
It all started when Kokun took to his Instagram story to explain the ‘significance’ of paying tithe. According to him, tithe provides an avenue for God to bless you.
He added that tithe gives the church a reserve to help the needy.

Apparently, Daddy Freeze didn’t agree with Kokun’s stance on tithing and took to his social media page to tackle him. He said Kokun’s claims negates the finished work of Christ and one doesn’t need to pay tithe to receive God’s blessings.
He also asked him to provide scriptural proof that Jesus or his disciples collected tithes from their followers.

Good morning. Your above write up claims that tithing is an avenue through which God’s blessing and favor is secured.

Isn’t that an indictment on the finished work of Christ on the cross? How much tithe did you pay to receive the unmerited favor of his death and resurrection?

All scriptural examples of tithing was done to the levites. This form of tithing was NEVER transferred to pastors, churches, bishops or general overseers and it was NEVER MONEY; it was always specific crops and livestock.

The levites were the descendants of Levi, son of Jacob and Leah.
Now, just like you can’t lay claim to the throne of the Ooni of Ife, unless you are from the direct bloodline, neither can any Nigerian lay claim to a Hebrew bloodline. This fact alone clearly shows that no Nigerian is qualified to collect the Levitical tithes.

Nigerian crossdresser, James Brown, has reacted after his father was dragged over his birthday photos with him.
James Brown took to his Instagram page to share never-before-seen photos of himself and his dad on the occasion of his birthday. In the photos James who donned a white two piece outfit was looking all glammed up.
Reacting to the photos, Nigerians dragged James Brown’s father as they tackled him for accepting his son as a crossdresser.
In a video he shared on social media, James Brown explained that his parents’ divorce affected his life, but his dad accepted him regardless because he’s educated and civilized.
“The thing is you guys don’t seems to get it. Not every father is your father. Not every father is uneducated, ignorant, hypocrite, uncivilized.

A female preacher has called out controversial preacher, Sister Kate, over her recent revelation about wearing floral dresses.
Sister kate who claims to have witnessed rapture over 40 times recently shared a long list of things that can hinder people from making heaven.
According to her, God frowns at people who wear floral dresses and such people will not make heaven. She also noted that tying wrappers while baring the upper part of the body, wearing lipstick, weavon, trouser, flowery clothes, shoes with shiny objects, jewelries, clothes which exposes some parts of the body are straight tickets to hell.
Well, another female preacher in a video serving rounds online countered Kate and accused her of confusing people with her revelations.
She asked if the Jesus Kate saw in her revelation is the one on posters in Africa, while describing her as annoying.

Veteran Nollywood actress, Shan George, has warned people against putting her in a class list of actors because she is in a class of her own.
In a post shared on her Instastory on Tuesday, January 4, the thespian stated that she is too classic to be on any list.
She added that actors who make noise about being on an “A-Z list” has inferiority complex.
The 51-year-old actress wrote,

According to her, charity and altruistic acts should be done secretly without anyone knowing.
