Big Brother Naija star, Tega, has narrated how she won a N250,000 giveaway three years after she begged for it.
The former Big Brother Naija season 6 housemate shared a screenshot of her chat begging someone for two hundred and fifty thousand naira to get a plotting machine for her business.
Surprisingly, on Friday morning, December 17th she received a message from the person who revealed he noticed her page from an Instagram notification.
He went further to ask for her account number and sent her the money she requested in 2018 while apologizing for not being able to help at the time.
Sharing screenshots of the chat with the benefactor, she wrote,
“So this morning I woke up to a msg from someone long time ago who was doing a give away since 2018, this life is just a standing fan.. thank God for grace, thank you”.
Popular Tech expert, Dr. Adeola Olubamiji has taken to her social media page to remember her late sister who she lost to cancer.
Dr. Olubamiji used the opportunity to also advise Nigerians to always be consistent with checking-up on their health and living their best life today like it’s their last.

On December 16th, 8 years ago, my only sister died from cervical cancer caused by HPV.

Popular Nollywood actress, Doris Ogala, has taken to social media to drag Instagram dancer, Janemena to filth.
The drama started after the professional twerker threw a direct shade at Doris’ colleague and friend, Tonto Dikeh.
Jane had taken to her Insta-stories to state that a certain person who claimed she was ready to go to court, is now running from signing court papers.
Reacting to the shade, Tonto Dikeh called Janemna out, while countering claim of not wanting to sign court papers and also referred her to her lawyer.

There was commotion on a Nigerian commercial flight recently as passengers onboard the plane got into a fight after the pilot allegedly delayed the flight for hours.
It was gathered that the pilot allegedly refused to fly because he “doesn’t like a passenger”.
One of the passengers who filmed the incident and shared the video on social media alleged that the pilot claimed the said passenger was rude to an air hostess, but other passengers disputed this.
This led to an uproar amongst the passengers, and their flight was subsequently delayed.

In other news, a Nigerian lady has shared her disappointing and hilarious experience at the hands of a popular airline.
The lady identified as @omah_petite narrated how she boarded a flight from Port Harcourt to Lagos, and arrived the economic capital safely.
However, she disclosed that after the plane landed, the airline allegedly told passengers that there’s no ladder for them to come down.
She wrote;
“Took Dana flight from phc to Lagos, got to Lagos safely (thank God) oya time to come down from plane, they say there’s no ladder to come down”.
A young Nigerian man was arraigned before a Magistrates’ Court in Ile-Ife on Thursday, December 16 for allegedly writing RIP on his girlfriend picture on social media.
The suspect identified as Oyebode Odewale, reportedly threatened to kill his girlfriend, Ademola Omolade, for refusing to marry him and later shared a photo of her with the caption “RIP” on social media on December 13.
Odewale was charged with two counts of breach of peace and threat to life.
Prosecution Counsel Insp. Sunday Osanyintuyi told the court that Oyebode committed the offence on December 13 around 11:30 pm at Eleyele Street, Ile-Ife. Mr. Osanyintuyi said that the defendant conducted himself in a manner that caused a breach of the public peace by posting RIP on Ademola Omolade’s social media data page.
The defendant, however, pleaded not guilty. Defence Counsel Ben Adirieje pleaded for bail for the defendant in the most liberal terms.
Magistrate O B Adediwura granted the defendant bail in the sum of N50,000 with one surety in like sum. Adediwura added that the surety must swear to affidavit of means, reside within the court jurisdiction, produce valid identification card and address to be verified by the prosecutor.
Convicted Nigerian fr*udster, Obinwanne Okeke, better known as Invictus Obi will be released from prison in September 2028, US Authorities have announced.
Obi is currently being held at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI), Oakdale after being sentenced to 10 years in prison earlier in the year for his involvement in a computer-based intrusion fr*ud scheme that caused approximately $11 million in known losses to his victims.
According to PremiumTimes, the U.S Federal Bureau of Prisons in a statement shared on its website, confirmed that Mr Okeke will be released in 2028.
FCI, Oakdale located in Allen, Western Louisiana is a low security federal correctional institution with an adjacent minimum security satellite camp. It has a population of 1,083 male inmates. It is an all-male inmates facility, with 997 inmates in the FCI and 86 at the camp.
Mr Obinwanne’s will be held at FCI, Oakdale until 2028 when he will be due for release.

A Nigerian father shed happy tears as he reunited with his son after nine years of being apart from each other.
The lovely moment was captured on camera and was shared by the brother of the returnee on Twitter — according to him, his dad hasn’t seen his brother in 9 years. In the video, the dad was first ectstatic seeing his son after almost a decade as he warmly embraced him.

The taxi driver who has been identified as Abraham Airaodion, discovered that a passenger had forgotten the whopping amount of money in his taxi and so he showed true integrity and returned it.
The date when he discovered the cash was not made known but Abraham who works with Sharjah Taxi Cooperation, was honored by the organization on Monday, December 13, 2021.

Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh and dancer, Janemena are yet again at loggerheads months, after their messy social media fight over Jane’s alleged tape.
Background story: In September 2021, Tonto Dikeh set Nigerian social media space on fire after she alleged that her ex-lover, Prince Kpokpogri has in his possession, sex tapes of married Instagram dancer, Janemana and many other married women, celebrities he’s slept with.
Reacting to Tonto’s allegation, Janemena filed a petition before the Nigerian Police against the actress over claims of cyberstalking and defamation.

Nigerian gay rights activist, Bisi Alimi, has declared himself Lucifer and asked people to worship his feet for their wishes to be granted.

The dead body of the young National Diploma certificate holder, Lekan Odunare, who plunged into a lagoon in the Epe area of Lagos State on Tuesday morning, has been discovered.
Olamilekan’s body was found on Thursday, December 16. A video of Lekan sitting on the rails of a bridge before he dived into the waters has been making rounds on social media. Before he dived in, a man filming the scene was heard querying his intention.

Controversial journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, has attacked reality TV star, Natacha Akide better known as Tacha, over her comment about her.
This follows the outrage that ensued over Olunloyo’s stance on deceased Dowen College student, Sylvester Oromoni, who died after he was allegedly tortured by his seniors for not joining a cult.
It can be recalled that Olunloyo claimed the 12-year-old willingly joined the cult and subjected himself to the beating as part of the initiation process, but unfortunately died from the assault.
In reaction to her allegations against the deceased, a human rights activist, identified as Adetoun Onajobi, threatened to storm Olunloyo’s house to beat her up for her reckless comment.
Shortly after, Tacha took to Twitter to tell anyone who wants to beat up the 57-year-old journalist to record it for her viewing pleasure.
“Anybody planning to beat up investigative journalist! Please record the beating! Thank you,” she tweeted.

Reality TV star, Uti Nwachukwu, has revealed that he was disqualified after winning an American visa lottery some years ago.
The media personality narrated his unfortunate experience while speaking as a guest on Tea with Tay podcast. According to him, he was disqualified because of a mistake in the order of his name.
He said,
“I was supposed to get direct entry into America, I had already applied and everything, got admission, supposed to go. I now said let me play VISA lottery, won the visa lottery, day of interview they said – first name, last name – Uti Nwachukwu, Nwachukwu Uti is not the same person, I died.
I remember walking back from the embassy. I already told my friends ‘I dey go oh, kachifo, bye bye’, we don already even do small drink up for Bele. I had already celebrated leaving Nigeria because I wasn’t used to losing things.
You know that year na cyber cafe, and internet no dey fast for night, so I left my personal details with their attendant and you know say for Nigeria, we dey write our surnames first. So the person that won which is Nwachukwu Uti, the person’s first name is Nwachukwu, the last name is Uti but my first name is Uti, my last name is Nwachukwu. It’s a lottery, they will use any small thing to disqualify you. I qualified every other thing – I had my papers, medicals, everything perfect.
They now said, “I’m sorry, play again.” I said “this is a VISA lottery, are you assuring me I will win again?” The person said, “I’m not assuring you anything, play again.” I wan d*e! I was shouting “but it’s the same person, the names are mine”.
They said “Yes, but this person has the family name of Uti, you have the family name of Nwachukwu. Even if I don’t detect it here, it will be detected over there and you’d have wasted all your money and time.” I died. Part of me died inside.”
Nigerian professional footballer, Victor Osimhen recently exchanged words with some Twitter users who called him out over his tweets.
It all started when Victor took to Twitter to share a tweet which didn’t sit well with some netizens. According to his critics, he needs to get an “adult” to handle his page because his tweets are childish.
He had tweeted, “I know say we agreed on friends with benefits, which one kon be say you don dey fall in love with me.”
In response, a lady said, “Bruh maybe let an adult handle your social media because wtf?”.
