“Why I’m grateful my marriage failed” – Dancer, Kaffy
Nigerian professional dancer and mother of two, Kaffy, has stated that she’s grateful that her marriage to music director and drummer, Joseph Ameh, failed.
It can be recalled that Kaffy in a video she shared on her Instagram page on Tuesday, January 11th revealed she and her husband are divorced.
According to her, marriage is supposed to be an alignment of destinies but that wasn’t the case for them so they decided to go their separate ways.
However, in a new post, thanking those who checked up on her following her divorce announcement, she noted that she’s grateful the marriage failed.
“Those who know me know l am more than a dancer. I explore my full humanity through dance. I am an advocate for human excellence and productivity. My marriage failed for so many reasons and I am grateful I failed because I was blind and now I see. Follow me and I will show you what I saw so you won’t fall like me . The multi-talented entertainer also maintained that the comedy industry is not congested but comedians only need to re-strategise. In his words,

Young Nigerian disc jockey, Michelle Abesin, better known as DJ Michelle, has taken to social media to lament the constant harassment and alleged threats she has been receiving since she survived drowning.
It would be recalled that the 21-year-old had gone to a beach in Lagos on Thursday, November 18, 2021, with her sister and friends to have fun when she was swept away by water but was rescued alive 24 hours later.
According to her, since the incident, people have been calling her all sorts of demeaning names, like “Mami Water”.

A video that was shared online captures the moment officials of the Nigerian Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, stormed the apartment of Instagram comedian DeGeneral’s in the middle of the night and in course of this, assaulting him and his friends.

“I strangled her with her Hijab” – Kidnapper narrates how he abducted, slaughtered 13-year-old girl and demanded N1m ransom from family in Kano (Photos)
A 21-year-old kidnapper, identified as Auwal Abdulrasheed, who got arrested by the Kano State Police command has recounted how he abducted, killed a 13-year-old female hawker and demanded N1m ransom from her family after burying her body in a shallow grave.
Spokesman of the command, DSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, confirmed the development in a statement on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, where he revealed that the suspect was arrested on January 9.
The PPRO revealed that on July 21, 2021, the case of a missing 13-year- old girl named Zuwaira was reported to the police.
“On the 21/06/2021 at about 1000hrs, a report was received from a resident of Tofa Town, Tofa LGA, Kano State that his daughter, Zuwaira, ‘f’, 13 years old, was kidnapped and a ransom of One Million Naira (N1,000,000.00) was demanded and later settled at Four Hundred Thousand Naira (N400,000.00). While negotiating for the ransom, the body of the victim was discovered in an uncompleted building, slaughtered and buried in a shallow grave,” the statement reads.
“On receipt of the ugly report, scene was visited, the body was exhumed, examined and confirmed dead by a Medical Doctor and released to the relatives for burial according to Islamic rites.
“The Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Sama’ila Shu’aibu Dikko, fsi immediately raised and instructed a team of Operation Puff Adder led by SP Shehu Dahiru to arrest the culprits.
“The Puff Adder team swung into action. Sustained efforts and prolonged follow-up led to the arrest of one Auwalu Abdulrashid, alias Lauje, ‘m’, 21 years old, of Tofa Town, Tofa LGA, Kano State at Dan marke village, Dambatta LGA, Kano State on the 09/01/2022, i.e. 202 days after the incident.
“On preliminary investigation, the suspect confessed that, he singlehandedly kidnapped the victim, deceived and took her to an uncompleted building located at Tofa Town, Tofa LGA, Kano State, where he strangled her with her Hijab used knife to slaughtered her throat and buried her in a shallow grave, and then demanded a ransom of One Million Naira (N1,000,000.00) and later settled at Four Hundred Thousand Naira (N400,000.00)”
“The suspect further confessed that, on the 07/06/2021, he kidnapped a younger brother of the victim, one Muttaka, ‘m’, 3 years old at Tofa Town, Tofa LGA, Kano State, demanded a ransom of Two Million Naira (N2,000,000.00), later settled and collected One Hundred Thousand Naira (100,000.00) and abandoned the child at Dawanau Special Primary School, Dawakin Tofa LGA, Kano State.”
The spokesperson then disclosed that the police investigations into the case have been concluded, adding that the suspect will soon be charged to court for prosecution.

The mother of two had in an Instagram post earlier today, for the first time, opened up about her divorce. According to her, she and her ex-husband parted ways so that they could grow individually.
She stated that that although they are divorced she wishes the best for him.
Reacting, an Instagram follower took to the comment section to express his displeasure with the news. The follower accused Kaffy of misleading young people who are looking up to her.
According to the follower, Kaffy’s divorce has taught millions of youths that look up to her that “divorce is a thing to do”.

American actress, Paris Hilton has revealed that she was moved to tears by a Nigerian man’s rare humanitarian act.
The man and founder of Chess In Slum Africa Initiative, Tunde Onakoya, had taken to Twitter to share an update on a little boy he found in the slums of Ikorodu in February 2021.
According to Tunde, he saw the boy picking scraps from the floor and took interest in him. He disclosed that he has adopted the boy and he started primary school on Monday, January 10.

“About a year ago, I found this little boy in the slums of ikorodu picking scrap from the floor. I adopted him and he has lived with me ever since then. Today is his first day at school,”

A Nigerian man has taken to social media to share his wife’s reaction after he left the house for just 30 minutes.
In a video trending online, his wife couldn’t contain her emotions when he arrived home from his short expedition.
It looked like she was about to faint and fall to the ground because she didn’t see him during the time he was gone.
The love-struck wife could be heard telling her husband not to leave her as she went to hug and bury her face in his chest.
The man, who hugged her in return, jokingly questioned why she was acting like she was going to die because he went out briefly. He also stated that his wife is very dramatic.

Man narrates how his cheating friend secretly built a house without his wife’s knowledge until a fire incident occurred after his death
A man identified as Israel Obinna Ugwu, has taken to Facebook to narrate how his friend secretly built a house without his wife’s knowledge.
Israel Ugwu said his friend completed the house in 2017, rented some flats out and kept one for himself where he slept with his mistresses.
Sadly, his friend died in a fatal car crash in 2018 and his wife still had no knowledge of the house her husband built in Delta state.
According to Ugwu, it was when a fire incident occurred on the property that the wife got to know that her late husband had a secret house.
Read as he wrote below,
“I had a friend who’s late now. He died in 2018 in a fatal motor accident leaving his wife and 4 children.
Before his death, from 2015-2017, he built a house in Delta state that his wife was unaware of.
For two years, he secretly built a house without anyone knowing about it.
This house had 4 flats in it.
When he completed the house, he started renting them out and kept one flat for himself.
He furnished the house and regularly went there either with an ashawo or side chick.
He collected the first rent in 2017 before his death in a ghastly motor accident.
When he died, guess what?
Nobody, I mean, no single soul knew he had a property!
The most surprising part was, tenants who lived in that apartment couldn’t reach landlord.
From 2018 to 2021, these tenants were living in an apartment worth over 300k for 4 solid years.
Nobody ‘gree park.
It was when one of the flats was on fire and it nearly entered my guy’s secret apartment that people had to dislodge the door and bring out relevant properties before it was kept under control.
When the few properties he had inside the room were removed, house receipts and documents were found amongst them.
They started making calls.
Both his plumber oh, engineer, block supplier and wife’s numbers were among them.
That was how this woman knew her late husband had a house.
Why do one keep such secret from someone they call their partner?
For me this is wickedness oh!”

Award winning dancer, Kafayat Shafau, popularly known as Kaffy, has revealed that she and her husband, Joseph Ameh, are no longer together.
She made this revelation while speaking about divorce and separation in a video she shared on her Instagram page today, January 11.
According to her, marriage is supposed to be an alignment of destinies but that wasn’t the case for them so they decided to go their separate ways.
Her words,
“I have always wanted to see my ex be the best version of himself and even breaking up the marriage was also to see that we both grew into what we really are supposed to be. Marriage is supposed to be an alignment of destinies driving towards a place that God wants us to be and mine really did not work out that way.
“Rather than looking at somebody as a problem, you could be the problem of that person. Being an enabler of someone not being able to do what they are supposed to do can also be that you are not supposed to be in that space.
“So, there was a lot to learn and there is still a lot more to learn. I want to express that and motivate you to understand that life is not all about reaction to the world; it is not about reacting to what you want to say or what the world wants to hear; what the world wants you to be or what the world wants you to wear; what the world wants you to look like or get married.”
The couple got married in 2012 and have two kids together.

Popular Nigerian singer, Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, better known as Kizz Daniel, has taken to social media to share his utmost desire for the year 2022.
The 27-year-old, who had his first set of triplets in 2021 but lost one of them, asked God for a baby girl.
Taking to his Insta-stories, the father of two adorable sons, Jalil and Jaleni, prayed that God would bless him with a girl this year.
“God bless me with a baby girl 2022”, Kizz Daniel wrote.
