21-year-old Big Brother Naija ‘shine ya eye’ housemate, Angel has opened up to her colleague, Queen about her family.
Angel who is one of the youngest housemates in the house revealed she has gone through a lot and was always on the move to be away from her “toxic” family.
According to her, her young parents provided her with material things; money, best school, clothes, to mention but a few but didn’t provide the things that really mattered.
Speaking further, Angel noted that she believes her mother thought she was doing her best, which she appreciates her for, but her best was just not enough.
“I was just always on the move. That was hard. I couldn’t properly explain to people that oh, this was the situation at home, that I’m moving away from my toxic family.
“I’m coming here because I want to… it’s not me saying that when I’m out of here I’m going to neglect them but there’s a boundary that I want to put.
“Because they put me through so much and I’m only 21. And I mean, they provided money but, like, but I’m smart enough to know that money is the least of a child’s problem. I mean it’s important, but there’s so much more you have to invest; emotionally, mentally. Those two things they did not give me.
“Monetary, OK, fair enough. They fed me, fair enough. Clothed me. I went to the best of schools, ate the best food, but the key important things, not so much.
“That’s why I keep trying to move away from that. I mean, when I’m out of here, definitely, I’m going to take care of my family.
“My mum tried in the way she thought she… she thought she was trying her best and I appreciate her for that.” She said.
A member of Bishop David Oyedepo’s Living Faith Church has gifted his pastor the latest Land Cruiser Prado worth N55 million.
Pastor Chris Abraham was gifted the car as a farewell gift after he was recently transferred from Abuja to another state in Nigeria.
According to Church Gist, the Land Cruiser was given to him by a member popularly known as Major Mega.

Big Brother Naija season 6 housemate, Maria was evicted on Sunday, alongside Sammie and JMK.. and in a new interview with Ebuka, she has expressed shock that WhiteMoney never nominated her for eviction.
Speaking to Ebuka on Monday, Maria said that she felt stupid finding out that WhiteMoney never nominated her.
“It was emotional when you played those who nominated me. Finding out he never nominated me, I feel stupid.

Big Brother Naija: Shine Ya Eye housemate WhiteMoney has revealed that his fellow housemate, Queen is interested in a romantic entanglement with him but his heart belongs to some else in the house.
The gentleman disclosed this during a conversation with Emmanuel and Cross in the garden, where he made it clear that he actually does not feel the same way about Queen despite indirectly giving him the signals that she wants to be romantically involved with him.
He however shared that the person who his heart actually longs for but the person is involved with another housemate in the house.
He said,
“I know Queen wants a ship with me but I like somebody else. I just think I want her as a friend but anything beyond that isn’t guaranteed. I like Jackie B but she’s literally involved with another person”, he said
Recall that some weeks back, Jackie B turned Whitemoney down after he confessed his feelings to her. During a Jacuzzi party one Friday night, Whitemoney opened up to Jackie B on how he feels about her in the presence of fellow housemate, Tega.
“If we are on the same page, JackieB is going to be my girlfriend,” WhiteMoney told the ladies.
In response Jackie noted that there’s no possibility for anything happening between them. According to her, she already friend-zoned Whitemoney in her head and sees him as a father figure.
“I had no idea of his feelings towards me before now. I didn’t read meanings to his attitudes towards me, because I have friend-zoned him in my head. I have put him in the class of daughter and father relationship. It will be a bit difficult to change to start seeing him in a different all of a sudden.” Jackie B said.
A quite troubled young man has on social media cried out, over how his girlfriend encouraged him to use his parents as sacrifices for money ritual.
A voice note that was purportedly shared to the gentleman by his supposed girlfriend emerged online, where the lady is telling him that things won’t work well because of his financial status.
She then goes on to compare him with his mates who are indulging in fetish practices just to make money and encourages him to adopt their lifestyle so that he too, can have money and eventually be able to take care of her.

A factory that’s been reported to repackage and sell “expired” rice has been uncovered in Benue state.
According to a report, the factory is said to take rice that is unfit for consumption, put it in a new sack, and sell it to unsuspecting customers.
A video that was shared on the internet shows bags of “expired” rice being loaded onto a truck for distribution.
In the video, more bags of rice are seen in the factory as eyewitnesses share how the factory workers take moldy, dirty rice that’s sticking together and separate it with red oil.
The eyewitnesses explained that the factory workers pour the red oil on the rice to make it appear good for consumption.
A UK-based lady who once paid a visit to the country took to her Twitter page recently to share a tweet highlighting her experience in Nigeria.

The Big Brother Naija house has crowned new heads, in the persons of Jackie B and JayPaul.
Biggie’s HoH Game was merged with the Nominations. In a twist, a Double Head of House win for the top-performing male and female Housemates was put in place.
These top-performing male and female was Jaypaul and Jackie B respectively and they shall now serve as Heads of house.
As a result, every other housemate is currently up for possible eviction – except the HOHs

Popular TV host, Adams Ibrahim Adebola, popularly known as VJ Adams, has opined that only poor people make statements like “money doesn’t bring happiness” or “money is the root of all evil”.

In the viral challenge, Children trick their parents or guardian into making a video with them to solicit for funds for a scholarship worth thousands of dollars. While filming, the pranker would then mention that their parent was once involved in an illegal activity, in order to get their real-time reaction.
The father of two decided to switch things up and played the prank on his little girl, Elena. He convinced her that there was an opportunity to take a lucky child to Disneyland for 6 months and needs to make a convincing presentation on why she qualifies to go.

Popular Nigerian clergyman, Bishop David Oyedepo, has advised single people against getting married because of money.
The founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide gave this admonition while preaching in his church on Sunday, August 29. According to him, he did not have money when he got married to his wife 39 years ago but now he is regarded as the “richest pastor in the world“.
He also addressed parents who prevent their children from getting married because their partner doesn’t have money or meet their educational standards.
Citing a verse from the bible, the clergyman noted that “there is a way that seems right to a man but the end is death“.
He said,
“You don’t jump into marriage because somebody has money. I didn’t have no money. I didn’t look like someone who will have money. Just one boy who doesn’t know what he is saying, always saying, “Jesus loves you.”

Former Presidential aide and lawyer, Reno Omokri has replied a Nigerian Christian who questioned his salvation over his hairstyle in a throwback photo.
The controversial social media commentator had taken to his Instagram page to share a photo of himself posing beside a frame of late legendary singer, Michael Jackson, to celebrate him on his posthumous birthday. However, Reno was rocking an all-back hairstyle in the photo.
The Nigerian Christian with Instagram handle @mandelahsharason raised an eyebrow over his hairstyle, saying, “Did you give your life to Christ then? Am just imagining the hairstyle.”

A teacher, identified as Alhaji Usman Galadima, has been accused of sexually abusing 14 pupils in the primary school he teaches in Niger state.
According to reports, the Grade 2 teacher at the Central Primary School Karabonde, Borgu Local Government Area, Niger State, allegedly threatened to kill the pupils if they told anyone about it.
However, two of the pupils summoned courage to report to the school’s headmistress, Hajiya Maimunat Tanko, who then reported to the headmaster, Mallam Abdullahi Toure.
When Alhaji Galadima was confronted with the allegations, he reportedly denied the student’s claims.
With time, more students came out to report that they had also been sexually molested by the teacher, which made the school launch an investigation into the matter.
However, Alhaji Galadima still claimed to be innocent until a delegate sent by Bà Karabonde, the traditional head of Karabonde, came to the school to complain that some girls from grades 2 and 3 of the school had told their parents that they were molested by the teacher.
According to the kids, Galadima told them to come to school very early and he used the opportunity to sexually assault them.
Following this concrete allegation, Galadima confessed to raping only one of the girls. At this time, members of the community had already gotten wind of the incidents and they stormed the school with weapons to hurt Galadima, however, he had been smuggled out of the school.
Thereafter, the case was transferred to the Borgu Emirate Council and Galadima was promised leniency if he confessed.
Galadima, then changed his statement, claiming he only abused two of the girls before later admitting to defiling 5 of them. So far, 14 pupils have come forward to reveal how the teacher asked them to kiss him and play with his manhood. Others said he raped them.
The girls were taken to the hospital for treatment where it was discovered that Galadima, who is currently on the run, is HIV positive.
It is currently unknown if the girls contracted the virus because the hospital withheld their test results and prescribed only drugs for them.
Parents of the girls have called on the appropriate authorities and NGOs to wade into the matter and help them get justice.

The Dubai based realtor who was perceived to be one of the top contenders for the 90 million grand prize was the third housemate to be evicted from the house last night.
In reaction to Maria’s exit from the house, Toke described it as unfortunate. According to her, she played a good game and would have remained in the house if it was not a triple eviction day.
