According to him, even though he didn’t meet the job criteria, he still sent in his application letter because he believed he had something to offer.
Speaking further, Tony stated that it was by a stroke of luck that the boss read his letter and invited him for an interview.

Young woman declared wanted for allegedly stealing $1M worth of jewelry after s3x with an elderly man at his hotel (Photos)
Atlanta Police Department have declared a young woman wanted after she allegedly stole $1 million worth of jewelry from an elderly man she had sex with over the weekend.
According to the police, the woman introduced herself as “Sasha” to the man whom she met at the Hide Kitchen & Cocktails on Roswell Road on Saturday.
After meeting, they reportedly left and went to the Tattletale Lounge on Piedmont road for an hour. After which the man took her back to his room at the Westin Hotel, where he had $1M worth of jewelry secured in a safe.
They reportedly had sex and the man fell into a deep sleep afterwards. According to him, he believes he might have been drugged because “he has never slept that hard.”
When he finally woke up, “Sasha” was nowhere to be found and he discovered that the safe was open with all of his jewelry missing.
The man said he doesn’t know how she was able to unlock the safe. According to APD’s report, chains, bracelets, a Rolex, and charms were allegedly stolen.
CCTV footage shows the man and “Sasha” in the hotel lobby around 3 a.m. on Saturday. Further investigation shows that his room was opened around 5 a.m.
According to APD, the man was able to identify the woman in a photo lineup. She was identified by police as Shirley Azambuya, an Atlanta woman in her 20s.
Heartbreaking photos of one of the fathers of the Bethel Baptist School abducted students praying fervently for the rescue of his child
One of the fathers of the kidnapped Bethel Baptist Secondary school students was spotted praying profusely for the release of his child.
According to reports gunmen attacked the school located in Kaduna on Monday, July 5th and abducted over 100 students of the school.
An heartbroken dad whose child was also one of the kidnaped students knelt in front of the exit hole broken by the bandits while escaping with the students, and cried to God for help.

Actor, Yomi Fabiyi has reacted to claims that his movie, Oko Iyabo, undermines the girl child and misrepresents Baba Ijesha’s rape case.
According to viewers of the movie, Yomi Fabiyi painted Baba Ijesha as a victim of a set up orchestrated by Princess. He also presented Baba Ijesha’s underage victim as an adult who had a consensual relationship with the actor and actress, Iyabo Ojo, as a prostitute.
The film sparked outrage as Yomi Fabiyi was called out for being insensitive and making a mockery of the pain of the minor and those involved in the case. Netizens took a step further by reporting the movie on YouTube and it has since been taken down from the platform.
The actor has now taken to social media to share a video where he debunked viral claims of trivializing the case.
In his words, “God sees my conscience. No part of my movie Oko Iyabo undermines the girl child. So don’t let them play anything into your head.”

Nollywood actress, Dayo Amusa has joined several other thespians to blast colleague, Yomi Fabiyi over his controversial movie, “Oko Iyabo.”
Yomi Fabiyi has been heavily criticized on social media following the release of his latest movie, Oko Iyabo which centers around the Baba Ijesha’s alleged rape saga.
He controversially titled the movie “Oko Iyabo” and in one of the scene, re-enacted the infamous Baba Ijesa child molestation scene that was caught on CCTV.
Actress, Dayo Amusa has now taken to social media to berate him and slammed him for sending her the link of the ‘insensitive piece’ on WhatsApp.
In a lengthy Instagram post, she wrote,

Popular Nigerian singer, Tobechukwu Victor Okoh otherwise known as Peruzzi has hinted that he’s not ready to marry anytime soon.

27 years after he founded the company, Jeff Bezos has stepped down as Amazon CEO
American Billionaire, Jeff Bezos has stepped down as the chief executive of Amazon 27 years after he founded the company.
The 57-year-old who is Amazon’s biggest shareholder with a stake worth about $180 billion, is being replaced by Andy Jassy, the mastermind behind Amazon’s cloud computing division.
Earlier this year, Mr. Bezos announced his decision to step down in order to be able to focus on initiatives such as his plans for private space travel.
Bezos said in the official announcement ;
“This journey began some 27 years ago. Amazon was only an idea, and it had no name. The question I was asked most frequently at that time was, ‘What’s the internet?’ Blessedly, I haven’t had to explain that in a long while”
“Today, we employ 1.3 million talented, dedicated people, serve hundreds of millions of customers and businesses, and are widely recognized as one of the most successful companies in the world.”
Mr Bezos said he would “stay engaged in important Amazon initiatives” but also concentrate on projects away from the day-to-day running of the business in his new position.
He said the move would give him the “time and energy” needed to “focus on the Day 1 Fund, the Bezos Earth Fund, Blue Origin, The Washington Post” and his “other passions”.
Mr Bezos said that he had “full confidence” in his replacement, Mr. Jassy.
“Andy is well known inside the company and has been at Amazon almost as long as I have. He will be an outstanding leader, and he has my full confidence,” he said.

Fire guts building in TB Joshua’s synagogue church during his candlelight procession (photos/video)
There was a fire outbreak at late TB Joshua’s church, Synagogue Church of All Nations, on Monday night during his candle light procession.
The funeral ceremony of the late clergyman started yesterday, Monday July 5th, with the candlelight procession in his church located in Ikotun, Lagos state.
However at about 11pm on Monday a building located in the church premises gutted fire. The church confirmed the fire incident in a press statement shared on its official Facebook page and noted that there was no casualty.
The statement reads,
“In the late evening of Monday 5th July 2021, there was a minor electrical fire incident at a storehouse within The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations complex.
“The incident was quickly brought under control without any injuries.
“As part of the preparedness for the weeklong services celebrating the life and legacy of Prophet TB Joshua, The SCOAN has worked closely with relevant government agencies including the Lagos State Fire Services, whose members were on the ground at the time of the incident.
“We thank God for His continued protection. We assure the general public that there is no cause for alarm and the services celebrating the life and legacy of Prophet TB Joshua will continue as scheduled.”

TAMPAN summons Yomi Fabiyi over controversial movie, Oko Iyabo.
The Theatre Arts and Motion Picture Practitioners’ Association of Nigeria, TAMPAN has summoned actor Yomi Fabiyi his controversial new movie ‘Oko Iyabo’.
The movie seemed loosely based on Baba Ijesha’s rape saga with real names of those involved in the case, and also reportedly making it look like the minor was having an affair with Baba Ijesha who is now facing trial for child molestation and sexual abuse.
TAMPAN’s Director of Research and Documentation, Yemi Amodu said Fabiyi was invited because the movie has sparked off another round of dissension between the group and the public.
The statement read;
“The TAMPAN Committee on Ethics, Conflict and Resolution wishes to inform the general public that the association has summoned Mr. Yomi Fabiyi who is the Producer/Director of the controversial film titled “OKO IYABO” to appear before it on Thursday 11th July 2021.
“This invitation becomes very necessary because of the controversy that the subject matter of his film has generated which is against our ethic and virtue.
“Despite that, we realize that the film has sparked off another round of dissension between TAMPAN and the public; this is unacceptable to us and unsuitable to what we represent.
“We hereby implore the general public and the parties concerned to please exercise patience as our eminent association is on top of this issue and will certainly ensure fairness and justice.”

Daughter demands justice as her Father allegedly dies in police custody after he was arrested over a land in Lagos State
A young lady identified as Olivia Ollie has taken to social media to cry out after her Father, Livinus, was arrested unjustly and allegedly died shortly after he was released.
Olivia took to her Facebook page to tell the story and demand justice, read below ;
On 9th of June 2021, a certain Mr Yusuf Remilekun contacted Mr Livinus Onyekaba. He had said he wanted to sell off an old property somewhere in Lagos. After negotiation was made,they came to an agreement that Mr. Livinus will buy the properties inside the house after which the house will be demolished, all of these was documented and signed by both parties(The signed papers has been locked up in the site together with his tools). A transfer of 1million naira was made from Livinus Onyekaba to Mr Yusuf as payment for the properties inside the house(Proof of payment is available both in bank statements which can be made available on request and on debit alert screenshot)
On Thursday 10th June, the security personnel who works in the building granted Mr Livinus access to the building on the orders of his boss,to take out the properties he bought and commence demolition. It was when he was at work, “family members” came to arrest him and his co-workers. Under the accusations of trespassing private property. With the aid of the police and no witnesses to ascertain the claims of the family members as owners of the property, he was whisked away to okoko police station along side his coworker. 5 days into his arrest,he was transfer to Ikeja police station. Its been twelve days and no complainant has been identify, neither has the police been able disclosed any complainant who filed for the arrest of Mr Livinus Onyekaba. The seller,Mr Yusuf Remilekun has been on the run since 10th June.
After going back and forth, he was denied bail. The D.P.O of the Ikeja police station demanded the sum of 100k to be paid to track down Mr Yusuf. The money was paid on 29th June by the lawyer representing Mr Livinus. On same 29th June, the D.P.O billed his bail as 500k and demanded it to be paid within a stipulated time,else it would increase. The lawyer negotiated and it was reduced to 300k.
The 100k paid to track down Mr Yusuf has no feedback yet. Mr Yusuf hasn’t been found,neither was Mr Livinus released.
On 1st of July,he as released after paying the required bail. According to my family,he never opened his eyes or said a word on the ride from Ikeja to Ogun state where he was taken to the hospital. Below is the doctor’s report.

Unknown Gunmen kill Enugu businessman in front of his 7-year-old son
Suspected assassins have killed the Chief Executive Officer of AutoEase services in Enugu State, Mr. Ifeanyi Okeke.
The gruesome crime was done in the presence of his 7-year-old son who he had gone to pick from a barbing salon.
According to report, the assailants hit his car from the back and when he came out to investigate, they ordered him to lie down on the floor, then shot him on the leg and stomach.

Reactions as Nigerian man is set to wed lady he met a nightclub
A young Nigerian man and a lady he met at a nightclub are set to walk down the aisle on Saturday, July 10th.
According to a friend of the groom-to-be who shared their love story on Twitter, the couple met at a popular nightclub in Jos. That night she had 2 bottles of alcohol and also smoked shisha.
The Twitter user @DangokMkak revealed the lovebirds who met at the night club last year would be walking down the aisle this Saturday, as he averred that there are no rules to life and urged people to do whatever works for them.
In his words,
“My guy jam babe for Varlaine club last year. That night, mama follow us cancel 2 bottles of Heiny and some pots of shisha. This Saturday is their wedding. Some of us that jam babe in church, the relationship no get direction not to talk of marriage. Do what works for you”.
The couple’s unique love story has however stirred reaction on social media. A Twitter user @peekyamila wrote, “Omo! people are finding love in unexpected places”.
@Derasyyk wrote, “There is no rule to this jare whatever that rocks your boat”.

Controversial Nigerian crossdresser, Bobrisky was held spellbound by a private message a handsome young man sent him on Instagram.
An handsome young man had sent a private message to the male barbie on Instagram, stating that he’s deeply in love with him while complimenting his beauty.
“When I look at you, I can’t help stopping, I am blinded by your beauty. I am deeply in love with you because your beauty has fascinated me and your smile has completely made me fall in love with you. You look like an angel, your face, your eyes, your lips, and our smile is so perfect”, the man wrote.
Bobrisky who shared a screenshot of his conversation with the man admitted to being loose and revealed he can do anything to keep the young man.
Sharing a screenshot of their chat, Bob wrote,

Yomi Fabiyi has reacted to the backlash he’s gotten after he released a new controversial movie titled “OKO Iyabo”.
In the film Fabiyi depicts Baba Ijesha as a victim of a set up orchestrated by Princess. The characters in the film take on the names of the individuals involved in the case including actress, Iyabo Ojo whom the story seemingly centers around.
Nigerians then took on a quest to report the movie for being insensitive.
Due to the reaction and negative reviews it got, Yomi took to his Instagram page to share a post stating that he’s asked that the video be pulled down or placed on PRIVATE.

However, Yomi tried to justify his action by saying the aim of the movie is to correct Child Abuse, Human rights abuse and other vices.
His post reads ;
I have ask they PULL or PRIVATE the movie for sake of peace.
The movie is however to correct CHILD ABUSE, ASSAULT, HUMAN RIGHTS ABUSE AND OTHER VICES and to state clearly I am not what they claim I am initially.
Don’t rush on any negative narrative guys. I am human but will never down play the real issues that concerns children. It is just an expression and I respect polite and superior arguments or opinion. Thank you lovelies.
Pregnant MUA dies during child birth, barely two months after her birthday
Family and friends are mourning a young lady, Becky Babatunde, who passed away due to complications during child birth, barely two months after her birthday.
Becky, who was a makeup artist and based in Calabar, Cross State, reportedly died a few days ago while giving birth to her daughter, who is said to be alive and healthy.
The decease was laid to rest on Saturday, July 3 in Calabar.
Becky’s loved ones have taken to Facebook to mourn her.
