A local truck driver conveying bags of sachet water was quite unfortunate as he crashed into a Range Rover after suffering brake failure in Lagos.
A video from the scene of the incident shows the head-on collision between the Purewater truck and the black Range Rover as traffic wardens take charge of the situation.
The rather unfortunate incident is reported to have occurred at Chisco Bus Stop in Lekki on Saturday morning, May 29.
Popular media personality, Denrele Edun has revealed that he is not interested in the institution of marriage.
The TV host, who will turn 40 in two weeks, stated this in a recent interview with PUNCH. According to him, he has never been lucky with love and would rather remain single.
Denrele added that his mother once bought him an engagement ring to propose to a lady because she wanted him to get married badly. However, he emphasized that he is not interested, even though it might make people question his sexuality.

I have been shouldering responsibilities since I was 11 years old.”
The 39-year-old fashion icon also revealed that he has a robust sex life and even considered leaving the entertainment industry because of a woman.
He said,
“I am very sexually active. In the past, I confused sex with love or affection. But, I am at a point where I can draw the line. I once dated someone that I was ready to give up the entertainment industry for. I was so obsessed with her but she said it would be unfair to take that from me. Now, I have discovered inner happiness and peace of mind because God has used me to break the chains of poverty in my family. I will be hard on myself if I say I am not fulfilled or satisfied.”

A 400 level Foreign language student of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, identified as Mariam Adeola was involved a fatal accident recently which claimed her life.
According to reports, the deceased was in the car with her boyfriend on Sunday, May 23rd, 2021, when the tragic incident happened.
A source shares that the driver of the car was over-speeding before the crash happened.
“The boy was over speeding before the car rammed into a shop along Ede road, Osun state. They were both rushed to the hospital but unfortunately the girl died while the boy is in a critical condition.”

Chairman of the NURTW in Lagos, MC Oluomo has celebrated two of his children, who just graduated from high school in the United States.

A fuel-laden tanker caught fire today, Friday, May 28th, on Otedola bridge, along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
Fortunately no casualty was recorded, as the fire started from the front of the tanker and didn’t get to the tank carrying fuel.
The incident has caused gridlock with motorists stranded around the axis. Meanwhile, the fire service arrived promptly and succeeded in putting out the flames.
This is coming days after the Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps, Lagos State Command, Olusegun Ogungbemide, reassured the public that there are no demon, witch or wizard at the Otedola Bridge.
According to him, the constant accidents and tanker explosions on the bridge are caused by reckless drivers and expired trucks.
The bridge is infamous for road crashes mostly involving fuel-laden tankers and trucks that often explode, causing casualties.

A Nigerian native doctor, identified as Ossy Opara has taken to social media to call out his baby mama for beating his mother.
In a children’s day message to his children, Ossy noted that they may not get to see their grandmother again because her “health is failing her as a result of the beatings she received” from his baby mama, Blessing, while she was ill.
According to him, he will not indict himself in anyway but his children will hear about how he was a “daredevil”.
