This is an inspiring story of Adeyemo Kazeem, who emerged best graduating student with a remarkable 4.81 CGPA from the department of Civil Engineering, Osun State university.
He emerged the best grandaunt at the 4th and 5th convocation of the school. According to his story, he once got “consistent” last position during elementary 1-4…..also Managed to score prerequisite 5 credit passes in WAEC examinations.
He Rode “Okada” (commercial motorcycle) for two years after secondary school, for sustenance and procurement of JAMB form. In his speech at the convocation, he said:
“LADIES AND GENTLE MEN, HERE I AM, THE ONCE OKADA BOY, AS THE OVERALL BEST GRADUANT.
THE LESSON TO LEARN IS THAT WE SHOULD NOT LET OUR WEAK BACKGROUND TO PUT OUR BACKS ON THE GROUND.”
While reacting the governor of Osun State, Gov Aregbesola, said: “I was almost moved to tears, listening to the testimony of the best graduands here today”..
