Moji was born to Christian parents, her father being the legendary Nigerian singer Victor Olaiya. She was brought up in Christian ways although her mother was a Muslim before converting to Christianity.
She ended converting to Islam after suffering a few marital woes. Moji has been married twice and both marriages came to a halt. The single mother of one states that Islam gives her more power and inner calm.
In one of her interviews, she confessed:
“Honestly, Islam is a peaceful religion. The aspect I love most is that you don’t need any pastor to get closer to God. You don’t really need anybody to pray for you. You can always pray on your own and Almighty Allah will answer your prayer without any intermediary. I have been doing that since I became a Muslim and it has always worked for me.”

I know of a pastor living in Auchi, Edo state. He was a Muslim before he was converted to Christian. Up till now, his name remains pastor Suleiman.@seyi, is there no money when someone choose to become a pastor?

It is pity that many so called men of God have been deceiving there followers for personal gains. In true
Christianity, you don’t need anybody to pray for you. You can make such request if you wish, but it is not compulsory. The veil was torn when Christ died on the cross. This gave access to all Christians to reach God through Christ. From her story, I want to believe her real reason was the change from one husband to the other. Christianity does not allow that. She cannot remain a Christian and continue to change men like cloth. I her mind she knows the truth, but she just can’t come out to share it publicly.
