“I couldn’t be more proud” – Nigerian woman shows off the house her 25-year-old daughter is building in Bali, Indonesia
Nigerian Real estate mogul, Udo Maryanne Okonjo has revealed that her 25-year-old daughter, Chidi, is building her first investment property in Bali, Indonesia.
Chidi is an entrepreneur who worked for a tech company in New York as a business analyst before she ventured into entrepreneurship. According to her, she is traveling the world while building global businesses.
The 25 year old was born in Canada and raised in Nigeria and South Africa.
She had a question and answer session on her Instagram page recently and an inquisitive asked if she took out a loan to finance the housing project. She responded in the negative and said she paid it out of her own pocket.
Her proud mother, Mrs Okonjo, took to Facebook to share a glimpse of the house which is still under construction and challenged women to create the right income streams and start investing in Real Estate.
She wrote,
“I couldn’t be more proud! Daughter 1 is building her first investment property. Who says women can’t command wealth? And who says it can’t start as early as you decide to take charge of your life.
Choosing to challenge more women to create the right income streams and get onto the property ladder.

“I haven’t had sex in 40 years” – 97 years old woman violently raped in Yobe laments
An unidentified 97-year-old woman, has reacted after she was violently raped in her home in Gadaka, Fika local government area of Yobe state.
It was gathered that the elderly woman was rape by a 35-year-old man identified as Mohammed Faruk. The woman who was violently raped revealed she hasn’t had sex in 40 years, until the unfortunate incident.
The suspect allegedly beat her up, broke her two teeth before he finally had his way.
In a chat with newsmen at the State Criminal Investigation Department in Damaturu, the state capital, the victim said her rapist had invaded her home in February 2021 and violently raped her.
Confirming the incident to the newsmen, the spokesperson of the state police command, Dungus Abdulkarim, said the suspect has since confessed to the crime and has been arraigned before a magistrate court where he was ordered to be remanded in police custody.

Farmer’s wife delivers quintuplets in Ogbomoso, now a mother of ten, after previously having five children
Wife of a farmer, Funmilayo Oluwadara, has delivered a set of quintuplets in Ogbomoso North Local Government Area of Oyo state
The 38-year-old woman gave birth to four girls and a boy at Ayoka Clinic and Maternity Center, Oke Ado, Ogbomoso on Thursday, March 4.
Mrs Oluwadara, a resident of Ahoroko village in Oyo town, is now a mother of ten as she’s had five children before the birth of the quintuplets.
The doctor in charge of the Clinic, Dr. Afolabi Sikurulahi who handled the delivery of the quintuplets, gave glory to God for the safe delivery.
Meanwhile, the father of the quintuplets, Mr.Idowu Oluwadara, 40, a Togolese farmer who came to Nigeria to find work, solicited for assistance from government and the public to ensure adequate care for the five children.

”You don’t have sense” – Pastor Tells Young Men planning to spend Two Million Naira On Their Wedding
A popular Nigerian clergyman, Dr. Abel Damina, has said that young men who are just starting their lives and then decide to spend N2 million to organise their weddings, do not have sense.
The clergyman said this during a recent sermon at his church.
He said ;
“You are a young man just starting life but you want to spend N2 million on a wedding, you don’t have sense. The school fees your father spent were wasted. You need to go back to the village to refund the fees. N2 million can set up a good business for you if you have sense.

The British Royal family has reacted to the explosive interview given by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle during their interview with Oprah Winfrey.
During the interview which aired on March 7, the couple made allegations of racism within the palace and a lack of support from the royal family over mental health issues and media intrusion.
Today, March 9, at about 5:30 p.m. London time, the palace issued a statement on behalf of Queen Elizabeth.
The statement reads: “The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan.
“The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. While some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately.

Kimberly Monick Ebohon, a 28-year-old Nigerian-Philippine woman recently discovered her Edo father died years ago, after she took to social media to search for him.
The woman had taken to Facebook few days ago, March 3rd, in search of her father, Andrew Joseph Ide Ebohon who worked as researcher and Missionary in the Philippines in the early 90s.
Monick shared the only photo she has of her dad, which was already faded. However, netizens helped in the search, as her post was widely shared by Facebook users particularly those from Edo state.

This is coming three weeks after the singer had a botched concert in Cameroon.
According to music journalist, Joey Akan, some musicians indigenous to Cameroon made a case against the ‘Koleyewon’ crooner to ensure the concert was cancelled after venues had been changed up to three times.
