Award winning Nigerian singer, Davido, has reacted after the music video of his hit song “Fall” hit 200 million views on YouTube.

The ace Nigerian singer and entertainer achieved a milestone with the visuals of his hit single, Fall, as the music video becomes the first Afrobeat music video to hit 200million views on YouTube.

Reacting to the record breaking feat the music executive sated that he remembered making this record as a joke.

According to the Actress, she became depressed after losing N450million to a business partner.

Speaking in an interview with Voice of America (Hausa Service), she said, “The reason for my post was because one Igbo man from the Niger Delta, with whom I started crude oil business, said there’s a certain amount of money I had to give for us to start the business, and that I will make half payment and then give the remaining later.

I didn’t know the man is a fraudster. He defrauded me of huge amount of money and ran away. I sent him N450 million in dollars and he left with it. I called his number severally but it is switched off. When I checked his social media accounts, I found out that he had blocked me in all of them.

I now live in Lagos. It was here that I met him and this is not the first time I had done business with him. What surprised me was that he came with some Europeans to prove to me that the business was real and a serious one. So, I never believed he will cheat me.”

Attention seeking Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu, has in a new post on his IG page, alleged that 80% of Nollywood actresses are guilty of paternity fraud.

The actor took to his page on Monday evening to allege that the marriage of 80% of Nollywood actresses will crash if DNA test is conducted on their children.

According to him, the on-screen divas will run away from their marriages if a DNA test was conducted on their children. He wrote,

According to the gentleman, the lady was an old friend from high school and he decided to send her a diamond earring gift worth N500,000 on her birthday.

Nigerian singer, Kelly Hansome has alleged that music producer, Don Jazzy, sometime ago, used the now-defunct SARS unit to arrest him.

He made this allegation in the comment section of Don Jazzy’s interview with Ebuks on Bounceliveradio.

In the interview, Don Jazzy had given reasons why Wande Coal left his record label and begged him to come back.

A South African pastor who farts on the heads of his members has fired back at criticism, insisting he’s demonstrating “God’s power”.

Pastor Christ Penelope of the SevenFold Holy Spirit Ministries in the South African province of Limpopo reportedly breaks wind on the faces of his church members to supposedly help them become wealthy, it’s claimed.

Some devotees are reported to wait for months to experience the so-called “sacred blow off” and hopefully turn their fortunes around.

Images of the pastor’s practice were widely shared on the internet, with photos showing him sitting on a devotee’s head, leading to a backlash on social media.

However, Pastor Penelope, who previously hit the headlines for using condom oil to anoint his congregation, said the act of breaking wind on others started with Jesus Christ.

He told the magazine Drum,

“It started with Master Jesus when he stepped on Peter. It is the demonstration of God’s power. Just like God made Adam go into a deep sleep, it is a similar thing.

“God did anything with the body of Adam while he was on the ground in deep sleep. He was not feeling anything.

“The Bible doesn’t say anything about Adam saying ‘God, you are hurting me’. “When they wake up from the deep sleep, they will tell you that they didn’t feel anything.

“It is showing the power of God and those who needed healing are healed afterwards and others get to manifest at that moment.”

The pastor added: “Remember when people try to tarnish your image, that is when He shows his glory. “As long as souls are won into the kingdom, he who sits on the throne laughs at his enemies.”

Some residents of Kogi state, on Monday, April 5 flogged two men for staging a #BuhariMustGo protest in the state.

The two anti-Buhari men took to the area with placards with inscriptions that read “Buhari Must Go” — both men also used paint to write the same on a wall in the environment.

They were however intercepted by some youths in the area who told them that Kogi state is for Buhari and that such a protest is not welcomed. They used whips to flog the men as they ordered them to clean the anti-Buhari declaration they wrote on the wall.

The 5 years old Mexican-Nigerian-American Kid was born in Chicago, Illinois and speaks Igbo, Spanish and English language fluently.

Speaking to Journalists after she was announced as the new Miss Toddler USA America Nation 2021, Princess Kleopatra Vargas expressed gratitude to the Organisers of the pageant Contest, as she thanked her parents, for the love, guidance and support they extended to her.

She also stated that this wasn’t the first pageant crown she has received, stressing that she was 10months old when she won Baby Illinois 2016, after beating 20other Kids.

In a reaction from the Mother, she described her daughter as an outstanding kid, with several rare abilities, seldom demonstrated by other kids. She noted that with her new crown as Miss Toddler USA America Nation 2021, there will be more to expect from Princess Kleopatra Vargas.

She was however crowned Winner of Miss Toddler USA America Nation 2021, after scoring highest in her Evening gown parade, described as elegance with 25%, cultural parade with 25% and community service through individual platform at 50%, ahead of other Kids who participated in the Contest.

Nigerian music producer and Mavin Records boss, Don Jazzy, who’s been on the news recently, has in an interview, expressed his regrets as regards the fracas that ensued between himself and rapper, Olamide at the Headies Award night in 2015.

In the interview which he had with media personality, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Don Jazzy stated that he is not the type of person who likes igniting and fueling up conflict and as such, regretted the statement he made that night.

The music producer also revealed that he wouldn’t have replied to Olamide if he wasn’t called by the show host to say a thing or two.

Don Jazzy went on to say that his statement was actually not channeled towards stimulating conflict, rather it was a way to settle the conflict that arose.

The family of late Nigerian comedian, Caleb Itietie better known as Calibird, has given an update on his burial arrangement.

According to reports, the event compere died after a brief illness at the Gbagada General Hospital, Lagos state, on Saturday, March 27th.

According to the information stated on his obituary, the comedian will be laid to rest on Friday, April 9. A Novelty match will be held on Tuesday, April 6, at Alao AKA Bashorunn Park Lanre Awolokun in Gbagada, followed by a Candle Night on Wednesday, April 7.

On Thursday, April 8, a service of songs will be held at Harvesters International Christian Centre. Mr. Calibird died at the Gbagada General Hospital, Lagos state on Saturday, March 27, after a brief illness.

Ace Nigerian singer and entertainer, Davido, has achieved a milestone with the visuals of his hit single, Fall, as the music video becomes the first Afrobeat music video to hit 200million views on YouTube.

The music video which was directed by DAPS and was released on the video sharing platform in June of 2017, was the first Afrobeats video to cross a 100m, 150m and now 200m views on YouTube.

A fan page dedicated to the singer, gave this update recently, and acknowledging the milestone, Davido quoted the tweet as he recalled that the making of “Fall” was like a joke with producer, Kiddominant… but with the milestone it’s given his music career, it’s now more than a joke.

A young Nigerian lady identified as Blessing Nyityo has allegedly died from a head injury she sustained after falling on a hard surface.

According to Blessing’s brother, the University of Mkar graduate who was fondly called Viju, went into coma after she slumped and hit her head somewhere on Easter Sunday, April 4. She was rushed to the hospital where she later died.

Benue activist, Ukan Kurugh, who confirmed the sad incident on Monday, April 5, stated that he called her sister after the incident and she assured her that Blessing will come out of coma.

“The news of your death wrecked my birthday yesterday blessing, haba !!! I spoke to your elder sister and assured her you will come out of the coma but God said come home my daughter. Record label boss, Patrick Anyaene has slammed his former signee and popular Nigerian singer, Peruzzi, over a recent interview.

Peruzzi who is now signed under Davido’s record label, DMW, was a guest on Nancy Isime Show, where he discussed his career and issues with his former record label boss.

In the interview the “Majesty” crooner detailed how the CEO of Golden Boy Entertainment, a record label to which he was signed before he joined Davido’s DMW got him arrested.

However, Patrick has now reacted to Peruzzi’s allegations against him in the interview which was hosted by actor and TV host, Nancy Isime.

TECNO logs one in for the culture; sponsors ‘Afrobeats: The Back Story.’

If we could call brand personalities by name, TECNO’s would be Groovy and Hands-on. If it’s fun, youthful, empowering and Nigerian, TECNO always finds a way to get involved and leave an impact. So, it isn’t surprising that the smartphone brand sponsored the premiere of the Afrobeats documentary film produced by filmmaker and culture custodian, Ayo Shonaiya.

‘Afrobeats: The Back Story’ premiered on Friday, April 2 at the Filmhouse Cinemas, Imax Theatre in Lekki, Lagos. It is a documentary film that gives the back story of the evolution of Nigeria’s contemporary hip music genre, Afrobeats.

The documentary chronicles the history and the leading names of the dynamic music genre, featuring several interviews from various culture custodians, artistes, and music producers.

“My main aim for the documentary is to tell that story from where the music came from, from Lagos to Accra, to London, then back to Lagos before it blew up to what it is today, with over 200 hours of my own recorded footage over 20 years, mostly never been seen before clips of today’s biggest stars from their early days till now, mixed with current interviews and lots of industry heads telling their parts of the story with me,” Shonaiya said.

This must be why TECNO chose to partner with him on the project. No one appreciates taking pride in one’s roots and staying true to it like the brand does. From starting as a grassroot brand to climbing up the premium ladder, TECNO has thrived by staying true to its roots while focusing on matching its fans’ ever evolving smartphone needs.

Talking about the premiere, Attai Oguche, Marketing Manager TECNO said; “We are happy to be here, honoured in fact, to be marking history alongside Ayo Shonaiya and his team. History is very powerful. When you have a good understanding of your roots, you become equipped to be original, authentic and sensational. Needless to say, the premiere was all fun, and we hope for more history projects like this in the nearest future.

Nollywood actor, Junior Pope and his family narrowly escaped death as his house almost went up in flames while they were asleep.

The actor took to social media to social media to thank God for saving his life and that of his family from the fire accident.

According to him, his house almost went up in flame at night while his family was all asleep. While thanking God for miraculously saving his family.

In his words,
