South African Rapper, AKA’s fiancee, Nelli has finally been committed to mother earth.

Anele ‘Nelli’ Tembe was laid to rest in KwaZulu-Natal. Her funeral was streamed on YouTube. Her family is still grief-stricken and AKA is still in disbelief.

Speaking at the funeral, Nelli’s dad said that his daughter was not suffering from depression, and he believes her death was not due to suicide.

In a letter read by businessman Sandile Zungu, Tembe said his daughter was neither suicidal nor did she commit suicide.

“As Anele’s father, I categorically state that Anele was neither suicidal nor did she commit suicide. We must as a matter of priority deal with the scourge that bedevils our youth. Alcohol which is overused and drugs. Fellow South Africans we better wake up and smell the coffee, we have a serious problem with substance abuse.” he wrote.

“I cannot allow an unfortunate narrative to go unchallenged, a narrative that irks me to no end … that is ‘Anele was chronically suicidal’. All I can say is, until Anele turned 21, not a single member of her family, my family would have associated her with suicide.”

Mother of indigenous rapper, CDQ has given some words of encouragement to her son amid his alleged pending case with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

Recall that the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, recently claimed that the Nigerian Rapper was arrested for being in possession of Cannabis.

The spokesperson of the agency, Femi Babafemi, told PUNCH that the agency got intelligence that the rapper was in possession of the banned substance locally known as “Loud” and stormed his Lekki home and arrested him. Babafemi said he has been granted bail but is expected back into custody today as he is still under investigation.

In reaction to news peddling around about him, CDQ in a tweet revealed that his mum has been supporting him and encouraging him with her motherly words.

A lady has taken to social media to narrate the length an angry husband went to get back at his wife during a brawl, in their home in Abuja.

According to the Twitter user identified as, @Gwarimpagirl who claimed to be the colleague of the wife, the couple got into a heated argument, and to get back at his wife, the hot-tempered husband reportedly burnt all her credentials.

In anger he burnt all her important documents, including her primary school certificate to NYSC certificate.

Narrating the incident, the Twitter user wrote,

Actress, Akuapem Poloo sentenced to 90 days in prison over nude photoshoot with her son

Ghanaian actress, Rosemond Brown popularly known as Akuapem Poloo, has been sentenced to 90 days (three months) in prison for posing naked with her son.

The actress was convicted over an Instagram post she shared in June 2020, where she posed naked with her 7-year-old son.

The Accra Circuit Court sentenced her to 3 months in jail for the publication of obscene material and domestic violence. Akuapem reportedly pleaded for mercy but to no avail.

“Mummy please, Mummy, I beg you, Mummy please,” she reportedly said to the judge.

Akuapem’s lawyer, Mr Andy Vortia, also pleaded for leniency but the court refused, noting that the harsh sentence will serve as a deterrent to others.

The actress was prosecuted, after she pleaded guilty to three count of publication of obscene materials, engaging in domestic violence, a conduct that in any way undermines another person’s privacy or integrity and engaging in domestic violence namely conduct that in any way detracts or is likely to detract from another person’s dignity and worth as a human being.

Woman arrested for allegedly killing her three year old stepson in Enugu

Men of the Enugu State Police command have arrested a woman for the alleged murder of her step-son.

According to a statement released by the spokesperson of the state police command, ASP Daniel Ndukwe, the woman’s husband and father of the deceased child, one Justine Egwuagu, who reported the incident to the Police, alleged that the unusual actions of the suspect towards the child caused his death.

The statement reads in part ;

”Preliminary investigation shows that the suspect confessed to having administered the noxious substance to the child. She claimed that her action was due to her husband’s inability to take care of her and their daughter; and that she wanted the child to become sick so her husband could spend money to treat him. The child was confirmed dead in the hospital and his corpse deposited in the mortuary for autopsy.”

The Police spokesperson said the container of the noxious substance and syringe she used in administering the substance to the child has been recovered, while further thorough investigation into the case is ongoing at the State CID, Enugu.

Rapper CDQ has yet again, reacted to his highly publicized arrest by officials of the National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency.

Yesterday, the rapper was picked up from his Lekki home for allegedly been in possession of a banned substance, Cannabis, locally known as ”loud”.

CDQ has now claimed that some persons are behind the false accusation and prayed that their actions would boomerang on them and their family.

His post on Twitter reads ;

He is always drunk – Wife pours hot water on husband for getting drunk

A woman identified, Bisola Awodele, has been arrested by the Police for bathing her husband, Peter Phillips, with hot water, leaving him with terrible body injuries.The woman was apprehended following a report by the husband at Sango-Ota Area Command on March 8.
The husband was said to have run to the station with first degree burns on his body, reporting that his wife had “accused him of getting drunk after which she picked a pot containing already boiled water and emptied it on his body.”
