Reports reaching us now have it that ailing facebook comedienne, Ada Jesus, has died.
It was gathered that she suffered a cardiac arrest last night and was rushed to the ICU where the doctors monitored her. Sadly, she lost the battle to the kidney ailment.
This report has been confirmed by their family friend, Harrison Gwamishu who told BBC Igbo.
She gave up the ghost in an Abuja hospital today April 21.
This is coming barely 24 hours after celebrating her birthday at the hospital.
May her soul rest in peace, Amen.
“I am so depressed” – Nigerian crossdresser who was attacked by area boys finally speaks (Video)
The Nigerian crossdresser, who was beaten to pulp by an angry mob in Lagos, has narrated his gruesome experience.
The viral video which served rounds on social media few days ago captured the moment area boys seriously manhandled the crossdresser.
In the video, the young man was parading a busy street wearing a pink dress, heels and a fake butt to give him a perfect feminine look. However, on sighting the young man, the angry mob attacked him and attempted to strip him naked, while they mercilessly beat him.
A voice was heard in the background pleading on his behalf asking the mob to stop, but his pleas fell on deaf ears. Read here.
The young man has now shared a video on social media to lament the injustice and embarrassment he faced on that fateful day.
According to him, he was filming one of his skits in the unfriendly neighborhood when the hoodlums pounced on him.

Church allegedly cancels wedding after groom’s baby mama stormed the venue claiming to be married to him
The wedding ceremony of a supposed new couple was reportedly cancelled after the groom’s baby mama stormed the church claiming to be his original wife.
The groom identified as Solomon Ngukpam Uto and his bride, Charity Kpanyar Akuji, were about to be joined in holy matrimony on Saturday, April 17th, at the NKST Ifan, Makurdi, when a woman identified as Mnena Iwambe, stormed the church claiming to be the lawfully wedded wife of the groom and that the other woman is an intruder.
After several arguments, the church had no choice than to cancel the wedding for further investigation.
According to a report by Queen-Eva Doosh, the groom had impregnated both his intending bride, Charity, and Mnenna same period in 2005. The two women gave birth a month apart with Mnena bearing him a son in October, 2005 while Charity, the bride, gave birth to a baby girl in November same year.
Queen-Eva Doosh wrote,
“It was reported that the groom, Mr Solomon Uto deliberately refused to cater for Mnenna and their son, but took the responsibilities of his daughter and her mother, Charity, and decided to wed Charity on the ground that they are from same Konshisha local government”.
When Mnena heard her baby father was about to wed his other babymama, Charity, she consulted the NKST Church, explained the situation to them and a letter was sent from NKST High Level, Makurdi to NKST IFAN ordering the church to cancel the wedding.
However, the groom reportedly convinced the elders of the church and the wedding was allowed to hold.
While the procession was ongoing, his baby mama and some boys allegedly invaded the church venue and forcefully stopped the wedding.
Despite the unfortunate incident, Mr Solomon Uto on Sunday, April 18, shared a photo from the thanksgiving mass held at the church.
“My humble self and family at NKST church Ifan for thanksgiving mass. My God, I give you all the glory.” he wrote.
Friends immediately trooped to the comments to offer encouraging words, prayers and support over the incident.

Body of ‘stowaway’ found in landing gear of a plane that arrived in Amsterdam from Nigeria
A body of an unidentified man was found in the landing gear compartment of a plane that had arrived in Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport from Lagos, Nigeria.
According to report the body was discovered by the airport technical staff in the KLM airlines plane that arrived in Amsterdam from Lagos on Monday, April 19th.
The victim was reportedly a stowaway and was killed by the low temperatures during the flight.
However, Dutch authorities have launched an investigation into the man’s identity and cause of death after he was discovered inside a wheel arch.
“We are investigating the discovery of a body in the landing gear of an airplane that arrived from Lagos (Nigeria),” , Royal Military Police tweeted on Tuesday, adding that the Schiphol airport police unit and forensic investigators were working on establishing the person’s identity and cause of death,” the statement reads.
A spokesperson for the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee told Dutch newspaper Algemeen Dagblad, “The man had holed up in the wheel arch of the plane. The low temperatures have presumably been fatal to him during the flight.”

A Nigerian couple, Mr and Mrs Ogeah are celebrating the arrival of their triplets after 11 years of marriage and several miscarriages.
A family member, Evelyn Odume, who shared the amazing news on Sunday, April 11, declared that God has put the devil to shame.

Woman slashes her 13-year-old daughter with razor blade over alleged theft of N1,500 in Bayelsa
The Police in Bayelsa State have arrested a woman who inflicted life-threatening injuries on her 13-year-old daughter, Ebimi Tokoye, with a razor blade over alleged theft of N1,500.
According to reports, the suspect, identified as Priye Rich-man, tied her daughter with ropes and slashed every part of her body with razor blade.
Narrating her ordeal, the victim said her mother also rubbed pepper and kerosene on the wounds.
“My mother came back around 12 pm on Sunday, after church, and accused me of stealing her N1,500 and I denied because I didn’t see the money. She started beating me and tied me with ropes. She started slashing all parts of my body with razor blade. She later rubbed pepper and kerosene on the injuries.” 
“A neighbour pushed down the door and rescued me. The incident lasted over two hours. The concerned neighbour later called members of the Girl Child Advocacy groups who took charge and arrested my mother. And hand her to the Police.”

Nigerian groom dies in ghastly accident a day after his court wedding and one week to church ceremony
The families of a newly wed couple have been thrown into mourning after the groom died in a ghastly accident a day after his court wedding and one week to the church wedding.
The groom identified as Adewale Adekunle Isaac and four other passengers were killed after an 18-seater bus plunged into Owena river in Aponmu village, Akure South Local Government Area of Ondo state on Sunday, April 18th.
Adewale was said to be returning to Akure with his wife, after their wedding at the Ikoyi Registry on Saturday April 17th.
It was gathered that their church wedding was set to hold on Saturday, April 24th, before the unfortunate incident.
The bride was severely injured in the accident.
A Facebook user identified as Great Ogboru, who was supposed to be Adewale’s best man at the wedding has taken to the platform to mourn his demise.
“I am supposed to be his best man for the wedding…I lost a confidant and supporter today. This wound is forever. Rest on brother,” he wrote.

NDLEA arrest undergraduate and her boyfriend who produce and sell drugged cookies to school children in Abuja
A 300-level University student, Rhoda Agboje and her boyfriend, Ifeanyi Nwankwo, has been arrested by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, for selling drug-laced cookies to school students and other unsuspecting individuals in Abuja.
NDLEA Spokesperson, Femi Babafemi, revealed this in a statement released to the public on Tuesday, April 20.
He said narcotics agents in FCT, Abuja, have also launched a search for another member of the syndicate involved in producing and selling the cookies laced with Arizona, a highly psychoactive variant of cannabis; alcohol and rohypnol among other ingredients.
Babafemi said the suspects were exposed after Rhoda was arrested with four pieces of the drug cookies on Sunday, 18th April, 2021.
The statement reads,
“She was arrested at the NNPC Cooperative estate, opposite Gaduwa estate in Abuja based on a complaint that she gave an unsuspecting young girl the cookies to eat. After eating the drug cookies, the girl lost her mind and could not sleep, making incoherent utterances due to the effects of the cookies,”
“Under interrogation, the prime suspect, Rhoda confessed she prepares the cookies with a friend and sells each pack of three pieces at N1, 500. A follow up operation in her boyfriend’s house led to the recovery of over 200 pieces of the drug cookies.
According to the Commander, FCT Command of the NDLEA, Mohammed Malami Sokoto,
“The boyfriend, Ifeanyi Nwankwo and all the equipment used for the production of the cookies were brought to the office for further investigation. The suspect confirmed that she sells at parties and to unsuspecting members of the public, including school children that are the most vulnerable. The suspect also supplies some supermarkets and clubs in the FCT.”
The Chairman/Chief Executive of the NDLEA, Brig. General Mohamed Buba Marwa (Retd) commended officers of the FCT NDLEA Command for uncovering the syndicate. He said what the syndicate was doing was not only criminal but equally unconscionable by deliberately luring school children into drugs under the cover of selling to them biscuits or cookies.
“I wish to draw the attention of parents to this new devious strategy to get children addicted to drug cookies and to urge them to remain vigilant while monitoring what their wards bring home from school or consume as snack”, Marwa added.

Chad’s President, Idriss Deby killed in fight with rebels
Chad’s President, Idriss Deby has died of injuries suffered on the frontline while fighting rebels in the north of the Sahel country.
The newly re-elected president died hours after electoral officials declared him as winner of the April 11th, presidential election, paving the way for him to stay in power for six more years after a 30-year rule.
According to the army, the president had been commanding his army at the weekend as it battled against rebels who had launched a major incursion into the north of the country on election day.
Deby’s campaign manager revealed he postponed his victory speech to supporters and instead went to visit Chadian soldiers battling the rebels.
Army spokesman, General Azem Bermandoa Agouna, said in a statement read out on state television, “Deby, 68 has just breathed his last defending the sovereign nation on the battlefield.”
68-year-old Deby had ruled Chad for three decades but was a key ally in the West’s anti-jihadist campaign in the troubled Sahel region, and is one of Africa’s longest-serving leaders.
The army said a military council led by the late president’s 37-year-old son Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno, a four-star general, would replace him.
