Controversial Nigerian crossdresser, Bobrisky has advised ladies to step up their game as he flaunts 25 Million naira credit alert he received today, March 15th.

According to Bobrisky waking up to credit alert of millions of naira is peculiar to the “big girl” lifestyle.

The socialite received the alert in three batches, first; 10 Million Naira, second; 5 Million Naira, and third; 10 Million Naira, amounting to a sum of 25 Million Naira.

Sharing screenshot of the credit alert, Bob wrote,

Popular Nigerian drag queen, Okuneye Idris better known as Bobrisky, has taken to social media to share a beautiful photo of his lookalike mum.

Bobrisky shared a photo of his late mum on his official Instagram page, yesterday, March 14th, to celebrate mothers day. Sharing the beautiful photo he wrote,

“Even when u are gone mama, I will always celebrate you. Wish you were still alive by now ! You would have been d most beautiful mother 😍😍😍. Back then in school people don’t believe my mum was dis pretty 😂. Continue to Rest In Peace mummy”.

UNN student commits suicide after his phone was allegedly seized and script torn by lecturer for cheating during exam

A student of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, identified as Daniel Mba, has committed suicide by jumping from the third-floor of a storey building on Friday, March 12.

According to reports, the 300level student of Biochemistry, was caught cheating with his phone during the ongoing examination, prompting the invigilator to tear his script few minutes to the end of the exam.

The lecturer reportedly seized his phone and handed him a new script to start afresh.

Following the incident, the deceased left the examination hall and went to his lodge at Onuiyi, in Nsukka Local Government Area of the state, where he plunged from the third floor of his lodge around 11:34 pm, after the poisonous substances including rat poison he ingested failed to produce immediate result.

An occupant of the lodge, identified as Nkechi Abo, said after the incident, they rushed to the deceased room where they found rat poison, bleach containers and syringes.

Another occupant, Christabel Okpara, told Vanguard that they alerted the caretaker when they found the student struggling for life after plunging from the third floor.

He was immediately rushed to the Bishop Shanahan Hospital, Nsukka where he died in the early hours of Saturday, March 13.

The caretaker told Vanguard that he reported the incident to the police after every attempt to revive him failed in the hospital.

“A friend who stayed with him when he regained consciousness in the hospital said he complained of frustration with his last examination encounter and financial hardship. He told him that his family was not giving him enough money for upkeep. He said he was bitter that the lecturer also seized his phone,” the caretaker narrated.

“When I rushed to the lodge, I saw him on the floor clutching a kitchen knife. We immediately rushed him to the hospital and he was given immediate medical attention. We later returned to his room where we discovered rat poison and bleach. We also saw syringes on the floor. We also saw a rope tied to his ceiling fan.

“He is a loner because I have not seen him with any friend since he parked into the lodge. I was surprised that one girl who identified herself as Scholastica showed up as his girlfriend. I think he must have been suffering from depression silently.”

2021 Grammy Awards: Kanye West wins Best contemporary christian music album

American rapper, Kanye West has won Best Contemporary Christian Music Album at the 2021 Grammy Awards for his album Jesus Is King.

Jesus Is King is the ninth studio album by the American rapper. It was released on October 25, 2019, through GOOD Music and distributed by Def Jam Recordings.

The album follows a Christian theme, with Kanye describing it as “an expression of the gospel. This award marks the 22nd Grammy win of Kanye’s career.

In other news, the record producer was named Billboard‘s Top Gospel Artist of 2020, and also the Top Male Gospel Artist of 2020.

According to Billboard, Kanye beat out other top gospel artiste, Kirk Franklin at No. 2, Tasha Cobbs Leonard at No. 3, Sunday Service Choir at No. 4, Travis Greene at No. 5, Marvin Sapp at No. 6, Kierra Sheard at No. 7, Koryn Hawthorne at No. 8, Maverick City Music at No. 9, and Jonathan McReynolds at No. 10.

As for Top Male Gospel Artist, Kanye beat out Kirk Franklin who sits at No. 2, Travis Green at No. 3, Marvin Sapp at No. 4, and Jonathan McReynolds at No. 5.

2021 Grammy Award: Wizkid, Beyoncé & Blue Ivy win Best Music Video For “Brown Skin Girl”

On March 14, 2021, Nigerian superstar, Wizkid won ‘Best Music Video’ for his role on ‘Brown Skin Girl’ at the 63rd Grammy Award.

He won the award alongside the Beyonce, who owns the song and featured artists, Saint Jhn and Blue Ivy. The award will also go to Jenn Nkiru who directed the video.

The song was made for Beyonce’s album, Lion King: The Gift which featured other Nigerian artists. In October 2019, Pulse Nigeria reported that preparations were being made for the video.

Wizkid will the Gramophone for his role on the song and in its video. The rules provide that the artists, producer and video director will get a statuette for this category. As of the time of this win, the video has over 31 million views on YouTube.
