Olakunle Churchill took to his Instagram page this afternoon to celebrate his wife, Rosy Meurer, on her first Mothers day celebration.

Posting a photo of her with their son, Churchill wrote;

“Today I want to greet you on your first Mother’s Day, you are a brave and courageous woman. It’s nice to see you grow in different aspects of life, and believe me, there are no recipes for it. Just follow your intuition. I love you. Happy Mother’s Day!”

Responding, Rosy thanked him for making her a mother.

Woman pours hot water on husband, allegedly kills their baby in Ogun state (photos)

A 43-year-old housewife, Bisola Awodele, pictured left, was on March 8 arrested by men of Ogun state police command for pouring hot water on her husband causing him grievous bodily harm.

A statement released by the spokesperson of the command, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, said the suspect was arrested following a report by her husband, Peter Phillips, who ran to Sango ota area command with first degree burns all over his body and reported that his wife, a mother of five accused him of getting drunk always as a result of which she picked a pot containing already boiled water, and poured it on his body.

Upon the report, the area commander ACP Muhideen Obe quickly directed his JWC section to effect the arrest of the murderous woman. The team swiftly moved to the scene where the suspect was promptly apprehended.

On interrogation, the suspect explained to the police how her husband is fond of coming home drunk always without contributing anything to the welfare of her and the children. She stated further that on that fateful day, the husband came home drunk as usual, and while she was complaining about the husband act of drunkenness, the man started insulting her and her parents which infuriated her, consequence of which she poured the hot water on his body. ” the statement read

Abimbola added that further investigation revealed that the suspect had a baby eight months ago but killed and buried the child.

“Preliminary investigation also revealed that the suspect gave birth to a baby about eight months ago, but she killed and secretly buried the baby out of frustration. The investigating team have since followed her to the secret grave of the killed baby, where the carcass was exhumed. “the statement read.

Oyeyemi said the husband has been taken to the general hospital ota where he is presently recuperating.

Meanwhile, the commissioner of police CP Edward Awolowo Ajogun has ordered the immediate transfer of the case to state criminal investigation and intelligence department for further investigation and prosecution.

Nollywood Actress, Nkechi Blessing Sunday and cross-dresser Bobrisky have reconciled weeks after they fought dirty on social media “over a married man”.

Recall the crossdresser and actress recently fought dirty online after Bobrisky took on Nkechi Blessing alongside Ka3na for berating a fan who got his name tattooed on his body.

Subsequently, Nkechi offered a public apology to the fan who had reprimanded for getting her name tattooed.

The dispute between Bob and Nkechi became so serious after a social media user took to the comment section of Nkechi’s apology post and wrote “the fear of Bobrisky.” In response to the comment, Nkechi said that both the fan and Bobrisky are crazy.

Nkechi’s response led to the trading of words between the two but they have now buried the hatchet as they were spotted dancing together at a mutual friend’s daughter’s birthday party.

A Twitter user has shared a video of a man who sat beside her in a public transport vehicle, caught masturbating.

The lady who filmed him while he was at it, revealed that the said man was using his elbows to touch her inappropriately.

“You know you can stop what you’re doing and do it when you get home, you hear?”, the lady could be heard in the video, as she called him out.

The man immediately removed his hand from his trousers after he realized he had been caught.

While their journey continued, the lady says she noticed the said man was looking into her phone and asked him to stop.

Angered by this, the man attacked her and almost beat her up.

In the video, the woman is heard calling him out for masturbating in the bus and he replied: “My body is my body. If I’m even doing anything, it’s none of your business.”

The verbal exchange soon escalated and the man hit her with his elbow and threatened to slap her, but a male passenger intervened.

So here’s what happened. I noticed his elbow was resting on my body, which made me uncomfortable cause the back seat wasn’t so crowded for 3 people for his body to be touching mine!

Then I noticed his Bag & his other hand movement & started recording incase he tried to deny.

After calling him out! He stopped. And I Ignored him for the rest of the trip till he started looking into my phone while i was texting, which made me really uncomfortable!

Then I told him He shouldn’t look at me or my phone and that was where the problem started.

Now that I’m calm, I guess I escalated the matter for myself when I couldn’t just stay calm. Still! It doesn’t give anyone the right to wank in public.

I sha told him to Carry his Penis and Jerk off in the middle of the road since he feels its his Body & He’s Right.

That was where Baba grabbed my wrist and was ready to beat the daylight out of me! Thank God for the people that saved me sha! I wished they would have spoken up though…

BBNaija’s Erica wept for joy on Saturday night, March 13, as her fans gifted her a three-bedroom apartment as one of their birthday presents to her as she turned 27.

Erica was asked to cut a ribbon to open an apartment where they told her they stored all her gifts. Shocked by their request, she went on to cut the ribbon and was surprised to see the many gifts lined up in the house for her.

The high point was when one of the leaders of her fan group presented the key of the house to her. The apartment was purchased through a lawyer.

Erica could not hold back her tears as the gift was presented to her.

Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola, two days ago, trended on Social media after the news of his marriage to a 13th wife, identified as Chioma was broke on the internet.

The King had had made the appearance at the installation ceremony of Chief Tomori Williams as the Aare Onikoyi of Yorubaland, a ceremony which took place at his Palace in Oyo State last weekend and was graced by prominent people in the society.

It was reported that it was the first time he had stepped out with his newest wife, Chioma.

However, after the news started making round, photos of a lady identified as Nwadike Chioma, quickly started trending as the new wife of Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III with claims that she had dumped her fiance to marry the 82-year-old traditional ruler.

Nwadike Chioma has now taken to her Social media to react to false reports. According to her, she is not the Alaafin’s new wife as her pictures have been falsely tied to that of the Alaafin’s.

My name is Chioma Nwadike, yesterday, being the 12th day of march 2021, my attention was drawn to online media posts making rounds of my “marriage” allegedly to the Alaafin of Oyo as his 13th wife. Recall that about a day or two ago the news that the Alaafin had allegedly taken a 13th wife whose name happened to be Chioma was on social media, which news I read as well.

It is rather pathetic that yesterday the 12th day of March 2021, I discovered that my photos were attached to the marriage news of the Alaafin and has since been heavily publicized by blogs and news pages across various social media platforms. I trended wrongly on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, as I was taken out to be a person who left her husband to be the Alaafin’s 13th wife. These false posts are all over the Internet and have amassed an unquantifiable number of views by Nigerians, including my friends, family and business associates.

However, at the risk of not joining issues with these bloggers who have already achieved their nefarious aim of bringing my name to disrepute, I am putting out this statement, categorically debunking these rumors to be false, unfounded and malicious as this is clearly the work of mischief makers, who would stop at nothing to malign my image.

The person in the picture is my estranged husband from a failed marriage, the aftermath of which, I am still suffering till today. These past few months have been a turbulent ride for me, evident by this current false news and defamatory posts. I have also despite this instant news, received other numerous defamatory posts/comments on my Facebook account, people have sent private inbox messages to my friends, and even fake social media accounts have been created to troll and harass me, which made me deactivate my Facebook page, just so I can have a semblance of peace. Sadly, reasons for these acts, merely orchestrated to malign and dent my image remains inexplicable to me.

It is rather unfathomable as to why I am being singled out to be diminished in the eyes of Nigerians even whilst still going through the emotional and painful rigors of an extremely messy divorce proceeding, which is still pending in court and wherein my estranged husband and his Lawyers have applied every dilatory tactic to stall the conclusion of the case for reasons I wouldn’t want to state now.

Regrettably, these false and rather demeaning publications have now perturbed and created an unnecessarily traumatic environment amongst my family, friends and colleagues who found it very hard to harbor the believe that I purportedly jilted my estranged husband in order to marry the Alaafin of Oyo.

To all those who have worked tirelessly since yesterday to help debunk this unfounded news making waves in the social media space in whatever way they can, I am eternally grateful for believing in me and protecting my vulnerabilities as a Nigerian woman, who is prone to ridicule and shame to the highest bidders.

I am consulting with my Lawyers, who will, in due course, commence appropriate legal actions.

Music producer, Dokta Frabz, laid to rest amid tears in the US (photos)

The remains of Nigerian music producer, Ayorinde Faboro better known as Dokta Frabz, was laid to rest on Friday, March 12th in Maryland, USA.

The deceased died in February, although circumstances surrounding his death were unclear.

His funeral service got emotional when his daughter, Genesis and son Noah broke down in tears and spoke about how they missed their father so much.

Addressing the gathering at the funeral, his wife praised her late husband, and revealed he loved and adored his family.

She said,

“I want to thank everybody for contributing to make this happen. My condolences to the family back home. It’s surreal, standing next to his body. I loved him unconditionally.

“We said till death do us part when we married. Some take life and death for granted…This is it, it’s up to everyone. Ayo is dead now but there are a lot of people still living but dead.

“He loved his family and children. He truly was a doctor in his craft. He would always say “be the best, be the best”. That’s Ayo. He was a definition of passion. He still lives, his legacy lives on.”

His body was interred at the Maryland Memorial National Park.

A Nigerian woman identified as Mrs. Samuel Bhiologialoaziba Regina, has given birth to a set of triplets after eleven years of marriage.

Mrs Regina, a native of Onuebum community in Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, gave birth to two boys and one girl at the Federal Medical Centre, Yenagoa on arrived on March 3, 2021.

In other news, DJ Cuppy recently took to Twitter to explain why her Sister Tolani wasn’t featured on her recently released album, “Original Copy”.

Cuppy whose real name is Florence has two sisters, Temi who is a fashion entrepreneur, and Tolani who is also into music.

A Twitter user @savekaram tweeted that Cuppy should have featured Tolani on the album and cuppy in response explained why her sister wasn’t featured on the album.

According to her, she asked Tolani to be featured on a song but was turned down as Tolani said she was not ready.

However, the billionaire daughter hinted on a possible collaboration between the two sisters soon.

Popular clergyman, Apostle Johnson Suleman has shed more light on his controversial statement that he bought his third jet during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown.

Apostle Suleman clarifies

The cleric stated that the fact that he bought his third jet doesn’t mean he has three jets in his possession. Providing a logical backing, he said it is a possibility that he sold his first 2 jets to buy a third one.

He made this clarification while responding to a troll on micro blogging platform, Twitter.

Apostle Suleman had taken to Twitter to post a tribute to Archbishop Benson Idahosa on the anniversary of his death.

In the comment section, the follower wrote: “You think he would’ve owned 3 private jets?”

Responding to the follower, the controversial cleric lambasted him and called him a fool.

“Say after me “I am a mumu,I was born a mumu,oh Lord help me not to die a mumu”…buying a 3rd jet doesnt mean owning 3jets..you can sell 1st or 2nd or both to buy 3rd..” he replied.

Popular Nigerian Instagram comedian, Mr. Jollof has taken delivery of his newly acquired Range Rover Jeep.

The comedian took to his official Instagram page moments ago to share the good news with his fans and followers. He shared a video of himself dancing, alongside another video of the car being brought down from the container that conveyed it to it’s destination.

Billionaire heiress, Florence Otedola, professionally known as DJ Cuppy in a recent tweet hinted about having difficulty in falling asleep.

The Nigerian disc jockey who had earlier spoken on her inability to sleep early at night took to Twitter at 3:56Am to lament about her sleep disorder.

“Insomnia,” she tweeted alongside a Pensive, worried face smiley.

Insomnia is a sleep disorder in which you have trouble falling and staying asleep. The condition causes habitual sleeplessness, inability to sleep.

Meanwhile, Cuppy recently took to her social media page to rant about something that keeps frustrating her.

DJ Cuppy is not happy that she constantly has to ”fight” in order to get some things she deserves and she made it known via Twitter.

In her words,

I want to acknowledge the fact that i have to fight.

I feel like i am constantly fighting, as an artiste, as a businesswoman and an individual.

It’s almost like everyday is a fight, things i feel i work hard for, things i feel like i deserve, i feel like i am constantly trying to re-convince people and it’s very frustrating.

I feel like as a woman, this is the case…. but you know what, if you don’t fight, it won’t happen but it’s very frustrating. It is worth the cause.
