Swarovski is an Austrian manufacturer of glass headquartered in Wattens, Austria, and has existed as a family-owned business since its foundation.
The luxury outfit, founded in 1985, designs, manufactures and markets high-quality crystals, genuine gemstones and created stones as well as finished products such as jewelry, accessories and lighting.
Over the years, the company has signed influential Nigerian celebrities as their ambassador and the former BBNaija housemate has made the list.
The self-acclaimed “Star Girl” took to her social media pages to announce her new affiliation with the luxury brand.
In the post shared on February 4th, Erica wrote,

A young man who was captured on CCTV stealing phones in a plaza has been caught after he allegedly tried to steal again.
The CCTV footage making rounds on social media said to be captured on January 22, shows the boy walking suspiciously into a shop in ASPAMDA, Trade Fair, to allegedly steal phones belonging to traders.
According to LIB, he returned days later wearing the same T-shirt. However, he ran out of luck this time and was nabbed by the traders who accused him of attempting to steal again.
In the viral video, traders could be seen interrogating him while noting that he will no longer be allowed into the market.
The Rivers State Police Command has arrested a security officer, Mgbechi Wekwea for allegedly abducting and raping a teenager at gun point.
The suspect who is said to be a 60-year-old security officer at the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education Rumulomeni, allegedly abducted and raped the 16-year-old girl.
It was learnt that Wekwea abducted and raped the young girl because the mother of the victim refused to marry him.

Popular Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has taken to Twitter to advise that Nigerians should stop worrying about the source of people’s wealth.
According to the actor since no one bothers to investigate the source of one’s poverty, therefore no one should worry about the wealth of others.

A man, identified as Olanrewaju Ogundare, who was declared missing in Lagos state in December 2020, has been found dead.
The 24-year-old worked with an events centre in Lagos. After returning home from work on Christmas Day, he dropped his bag at his parents’ house on dimula Street, Ikotun, and informed them that he was going to spend the Christmas holiday with his friends.
When he arrived at his friends’ house, he called his mother to inform her that he had gotten to his destination. However, after that call, he went incommunicado.
On the next working day, December 28, Olanrewaju failed to show up at work, which raised suspicion and prompted his colleagues to call his parents, who immediately reported the matter to the Idimu Police Station.
Weeks after he went missing, the police found his mutilated body in the Ejigbo area of Lagos with the aid of his photo.
His body was found on Monday, February 1, and there are speculations that he was murdered.
A preliminary investigation suggests that he was murdered in his friend’s area on the same night he went to visit him for the Christmas celebration.
It is believed that he was killed by suspected armed robbers who have been operating and terrorizing residents of the area.
The spokesperson of the state police command, Muyiwa Adejobi, confirmed the incident and said the police is conducting further investigation into the murder case.
However, it was gathered that his family have called for the case to be closed because they do not have the finance to carry out an autopsy.

The mother of young makeup artist who was killed by two siblings was captured in an emotional video, laying curses on her daughter’s killers.
Recall that Ijeoma was gruesomely murdered by two siblings, Chiamaka and Emeka Ifezue for being the new girlfriend to Chiamaka’s ex-boyfriend.
The MUA with Instagram page @wake_n_makeup, was last seen on Wednesday, November 11, 2020, after she left home for a job from which she never returned.
According to reports, she asked to know the venue for the job but was simply instructed to meet the client at a bus stop in Enugu.
After, the client picked her up from the bus stop and was taking her to the job venue, the makeup artist reportedly felt something was wrong and immediately texted the client’s number to her brother. That was the last time Ijeoma’s family heard from her.
She was reportedly found dead around Maryland, Enugu and it was claimed that she had been doused with acid.
Friends of the deceased took to social media to call for justice for Ijeoma and fortunately, the culprits (a sister and her brother) have been arrested and charged with her murder.

Former Big Brother Naija star, Kiddwaya has opened up on why he couldn’t call Erica his girlfriend, even though they had a relationship.

Nollywood actress and producer, Angela Samuda, has revealed that she will not kiss in a movie because it will create a problem between her and her husband if she does.
In an interview with The Sun, Angela Samuda said that she finds it very difficult trying to get her husband agree and allow her to play romantic roles.
According to the Akwa Ibom State born script-interpreter, she can do anything else with the opposite sex on set but not a kissing scene.
She said,
“It’s not always easy convincing my husband for me to play romantic roles like that, but then, in the long run, he’s cool. He knows it’s my career. However, he would not accept any kissing scene.
I don’t like it, though. I can peck, smooch, lie on the same bed with the opposite sex and all but kissing is a no-no for me. If I am given a role with lots of kissing scenes and the story would be better portrayed with the actual kissing scenarios, I would have to explain to the director. I would suggest he should give the role to another actor. I am not sentimental or desperate when it has to do with my work. If I can’t do it, I’d suggest you give it to another.”
Speaking on her sexual harassment encounters, she said, “Oh yes, a lot. That’s one of the primary reasons I stopped acting for some time. I couldn’t own up enough to speak my mind; instead, I cry back home feeling so bad and how much have disappointed myself. When I thought it over and was woman enough to speak out, I bounced back. The moment you let them know that you know your worth and why you are in the industry, they have no choice but to respect you and know you are different. I don’t need to sleep with a producer, director, or actor to prove my worth and capability. God has been on my side so far.’
Angel Samuda also revealed her New Year Resolution, “My New year resolution is good movies only. Everything good. I also want to help as many people as I can. I always want to be me, do my very best, and leave the rest to God. To produce as many good movies as I can and help aspiring actors with promising talents.”
Claire Idera Nnani, wife of popular Nollywood actor and vlogger, Akah Nnani has disclosed how she met her husband.
According to the pretty wife who’s pregnant with their first child, she met her husband Akah on Facebook seven years ago and got married in 2019.
Sharing a loved up photo with her husband from their baby’s gender reveal party on her Instagram page, she wrote, “To think that I met Akah Nnani on Instagram almost 7 years ago. So crazy!!!”
Meanwhile the actor has taken to social media to recount how he romantically replaced his wife’s favourite perfume which made her cry after she mistakenly broke it.
Recounting the romantic moment, he wrote,
“Hey besties, Oya get in here let me give you gist 😁.
Okay, so during our third trimester (I say “our” because to God, me and my wife we’re pregnant together 😅), my wife found it increasingly hard to hold things or grab things. Later on, it became so painful that in fact, it scared Tha hell out of me. She wouldn’t be able to use her hand an hour after she wakes up. Heh!! We asked all our aunties and mothers, everybody say “this is strange 🕵️! This never happened to me, I don’t know oh?” Hehehe!! 👏🏾👏🏾 If you see my drama this time, I wanted to faint 😅. I convinced my wife and my in-laws that me too, I have carpal tunnel 😅

Jesus, my heart shattered into the hundreds of glass shards on the floor. I ran to her and held her so tight. All I could say was “I’m so sorry. I love you”. I held her so tight cos I felt her pain. I knew how much she loves the perfume. It’s was a Chanel Gabrielle 50ML. Bought for her by her father.
“So dears, daiz how right there and then, I decided to buy that perfume for her. And tbh, I never liked that her best perfume was from her dad. I wanted all her best things from me”.
Wizkid‘s ten-year-old son Boluwatife Balogun has hailed the singer as ‘the best’ as he recalled the nice gesture his father did when he cracked the screen of his smartphone.
Boulwatife disclosed that his father had sent him a new TECNO Camon 16 Premier smartphone after he mistakenly cracked his previous phone.
Sharing the video, he wrote : ”Throwback to when I mistakenly cracked my previous @tecnomobileng and my DAD came through with the latest TECNO CAMON 16 Pro in less that 24hours… That sure put smiles on my face Thanks Dad, You’re the best and as we all know”.
An unidentified young man has reportedly died after he jumped from the 6th floor of the 1004 Estate in Lagos on Thursday, February 4th.
It was gathered that EFCC officials stormed the Estate this morning to arrest some suspected fraudsters, when the deceased jumped from the 6th floor and reportedly died on the spot.
Eyewitnesses alleged that the EFCC officers went from one apartment to the other, knocking, and if denied access, they would break into the apartment.
The yet-to-be identified young man upon hearing that the operatives were around the Estate, became apprehensive and jumped from the 6th floor which led to his death.

In other news, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested one, Williams Michael Ogwezi also known as Dr. Williams, for parading himself as a staff of the Commission to defraud his victims.
It was alleged that Williams is a member of a syndicate that specializes in forging identity cards of the Commission as well as those of other law enforcement agencies.
The suspect was arrested in Lagos, following a report received by the Commission from the Nigeria Police Area Command Ajah, Lagos.
Investigation revealed that the suspect had defrauded one of his victims, a lady, of jewelry valued at N10, 000,000.00 (Ten Million Naira) before his arrest.
Williams has reportedly confessed to the crime and items recovered from him at the point of arrest include an identity card with inscription of EFCC, EFCC face masks, three laptops, three mobile phones and two vehicles (Lexus and Hyundai Genesis).
