A Nigerian man alongside his friends have angrily stormed a pastor’s house and retrieved the car his wife gifted the man of God.

According to the Twitter user, Ziggy who shared the story on the platform, the man’s wife had gifted the said pastor two luxury cars in a space of two years.

It was learnt that at two different times the aggrieved man bought two car for his wife, but she ended up giving the cars to her pastor as a form of appreciation to him.

The man who was apparently angered by his wife’s action and could not bear loosing the second car to the pastor, stormed the pastor’s house in company of four of his friends to retrieve the car.

The tweet reads,

“My uncle and his friends went to collect the car their friend’s wife gave to her pastor…The 2nd one….in 2 years.🤣

“Husband came to complain that he bought her a car last December, she gave the car to the pastor.

“He now bought her another one last month, she gave to the same pastor 3 weeks ago. Omo the husband cry come o

Nigerian couple welcome twins after 27 years of marriage

A Nigerian couple, identified as Dr. Mike and Dr. Modupe Obiora, have welcomed a set of twins, a boy and a girl, after 27 years of childlessness.

The couple, who got married on December 11th, 1993, finally welcomed their bundles of joy after 27 years of marriage without a child.

The dedication of the twins, a boy and a girl, was held at the World Alive Church in Calabar, Cross River State on Sunday, December 13.

Dr. (Mrs) Modupe, speaking at the dedication, expressed her gratitude to God for wiping away her tears. She also appreciated her husband and their family members for their continuous support and prayers during the 27 years of waiting.

In her words,

“I want to thank God because he is God indeed. He is the God that does not wear wristwatch. With Him, there is no time, no season, When people have written your case off, when doctors said it is not possible, God of possibility will show on the screen, He will show up in your case and that is what he did for me. Most of you know my case but Thank God it is a past tense now.

“We held on to the word of God, we held on to Faith, we held on to the Blood of the Convenant and he did not fail us. I thank God for everyone that God has used in prayers. Some people know how to introduce you to herbalists, juju people but the people that surrounded me, all we know is prayers.

“Everyone that prayed we are seeing the result of that prayer. God did not do one but double. God wiped wiped away my tears, my secret tears. He put laughter in my mouth. All my questions…why why why, why me, he answered them.

“I want to thank God for my husband’s family. If you marry into a devilish family they will carry you to so many places. My mother-in-law and sisters-in-law are always praying for me. There is no day they will say let’s go and see one baba. It is good to marry into a good home if not you will put your hands in certain things you are not supposed to. I thank God for them. They are always praying for us. They strengthened my faith.”

Nigerian man who failed woefully in UNILAG, reveals he now works with Microsoft

A young Nigerian man identified as Emmanuel Ndubuisi, has secured a job with a multi national technology company despite failing woefully in a Nigerian university.

Emmanuel took to the micro-blogging platform, Twitter to share a snapshot of his transcript from his last semester in the University of Lagos.

Following the transcript Emmanuel failed most of his courses and had a GPA of 1.10.

According to him, he had to leave the institution and left for America where he went further his education and even won a major league hacking competition.

Emmanuel revealed that he is now an hacker and works with American multinational technology company, Microsoft, despite failing woefully in his 2nd year at the University of Lagos (UNILAG).

Nigerian lady allegedly commits suicide three months after she publicly called out her pastor dad for allegedly repeatedly raping her

A Nigerian lady has allegedly committed suicide months after publicly accusing her father who is a pastor of repeatedly raping her as a child.

The lady identified as, Renua Giwa-Amu took to Facebook in September to call out her father, Femi Giwa-Amu for allegedly repeatedly raping her when she was 7-years-old.

In a lengthy Facebook post, Renua accused her father of sexually abusing many children left under his watch, She claimed that her friends couldn’t come visiting because they were scared her father would molest them.

Her post read in part,

“Mr OBAFEMI EHIMIGBAI GIWA-AMU:
I know that you are a child molester, your numerous victims outnumber you and I remember everything now. All I have to say to you is this: You, your rings of pedophiles, bullies, thieves, hired cronies and family gang can do whatever you like in eternum.

“You already do so, and my belief in karma is strong enough to know that you have already begun the processes that will eventually be your own downfall. But lately, I got triggered again into remembering details about certain threats against me and my siblings you often made against our lives if I was ever to become successful and return to Nigeria after daring to come forward with my truth.

“I already did that. I had the nervous breakdown in 2018 when the truth about your various exploits and smuggling schemes finally came back to me in a big, horrible way”.

However, barely three months after calling her dad out, Renua has allegedly committed suicide.

It was alleged that Renua had taken to her Instagram story on December 26th, to reveal that she was going to commit suicide and warned members of her family not to mourn her.

Friends and family has since taken to social media to mourn her demise.

Her uncle, Ozolua Giwa-Amu who confirmed her death in a Facebook post wrote,

“Thank you all,

On behalf of the SIO Giwa-Amu family and specifically the Obafemi Ehimigbai Giwa-Amu (my elder brother), family of Evbiobe (Sabongida-Ora) Edo State, I state the following:

It is with the utmost regret it falls on me to announce, that our most beautiful daughter, Ohirenua Giwa-Amu, youngest daughter of Femi and Ngozi, passed away last night. This is a most heartbreaking day for us all.

On behalf of her parents, my mother, brothers, sisters, and the whole family I ask that you kindly say a prayer, light a candle, sing a worship song, for our little girl, that she may find eternal rest. Renua was a beautiful soul, may the Almighty have mercy upon her and receive her soul.

Renua, with so much pain, pls know, we will love you forever!!!

This is coming months after the rapper publicly admitted to cheating on his actress ex-girlfriend, Juliet Ibrahim, and tendered an apology for his infidelity.

The groom identified as Akai Imo wore a traditional Efik attire for his white wedding in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, while his partner, Osita Sandra Uju wore a white ball dress.

The groom’s attire consists of a wrapper called Usobo, a long white shirt and a woolen cap. The wedding which took place on December 20, was titled “Local Love 2020”

COVID19: Lagos shuts down Queens Park Event Centre and revokes its operating license (photos)

The Lagos State Government through the Ministry of Tourism Arts and Culture has revoked the license of Queens Park Event Centre Oniru as the Lagos State Safety Commission also sealed the facility for contravening the COVID-19 protocols of the State.

The Commissioner for Tourism, Akinbile Yusuf, says the step to withdraw the license was taken in the best interest of the State and implored other event centers and venue owners to comply with the Government’s laid down directives otherwise risk losing their chances of doing business in Lagos.

She reiterated that the fight against the virus can only be successful if Nigerians follow the laid down public health and safety protocols.

Also speaking, the Director-General, Lagos State Safety Commission, Lanre Mojola, said it became necessary to take such steps after an event that was held at the venue on the 26th of December contravened all safety protocols laid down by the State.

Popular Actress, Etinosa Idemudia, has reacted to the backlash she got after she revealed that she’s been given the ”joy of motherhood”.

Popular Nigerian public speaker, Ubong King, has died.

Mr King, who hails from Akwa Ibom State was 48 and reportedly died on Saturday, December 26 after a battle with COVID19.

His wife, Unyime, confirmed the report of Mr King’s passing in a Facebook post on Sunday.

Bisi’s comment comes after Bobrisky revealed he decided to switch to the female gender because as a male, he had nothing to show for it. In a post shared on his Instagram page on Saturday December 26, Bobrisky said he suffered so much as a full man but that immediately he became a crossdresser, he started to make a lot of money.

Bobrisky went on to say that he would be going for a commplete gender change in Colombia by 2021.

COVID-19: Couples must obtain clearance to hold weddings – Lagos government

Prospective couples have been directed by the Lagos state government to obtain clearance from the Lagos State Safety Commission to hold weddings.

In a notice titled ‘Stay At Home’, couples were directed to hold weddings with not more than 300 people in attendance with prior clearance from the Commission.

It read;

“Weddings and social gatherings must not exceed 300 people with prior clearance from the Lagos State Safety Commission.”

Director-General of the Lagos State Safety Commission, Lanre Mojola who confirmed this in an interview with Punch, said the state government is concerned about large gatherings and big weddings as the state experiences a spike in the number of Covid-19 cases.

He added that the clearance is free and prospective couples will have to go on the Commission’s website to input the details of their weddings. Mojola also revealed that safety marshals will be deployed to such events to enforce all COVID-19 protocols to prevent any possible spread of the virus.

Mojola said;

“If it is not a big wedding, maybe 50 people, 100 people, we are not really concerned. But if it is a large gathering with 300 people and above, it is mandatory that you get a clearance. It is a free clearance; no payment whatsoever.

“The process is not difficult, you go online and input the details of the wedding. There might be a requirement to have safety marshals on ground, depending on the size of the wedding.

“The move is to put in place some control measures to prevent super-spreader weddings and hold people accountable. It also helps us in planning. For instance, if we are envisaging 500 guests at a wedding, there will be more attention on them. We will do our regular patrols and visit such places to ensure that they comply with safety protocols.”

Stars of Big Brother Naija ‘Pepper Dem’ edition, Khafi Kareem and her beau, Gedoni Ekpata, have officially become husband and wife.

The BBNaija couple held a beautiful lowkey wedding ceremony and the reality TV stars, each shared the good news on their Instagram pages.

The ex-UK officer wrote: “On this day last year I woke up engaged to the love of my life. The worst thing happened this year but through the tears and sorrow the best also happened too, and that is signing on the dotted line to spending the rest of my life with you.

We couldn’t celebrate this year (next year loading!) but genuinely, I celebrate and thank God every day for you @Gedoni. Cheers to married life

Gedoni, on his part, shared a photo from their December 2019 engagement and accompanied it with a caption:

“A year ago she said “YES” and some months later she said “YES” again, this time to FOREVER. It’s not been an easy year especially for you.

You lost your(our) brother and Covid19 happened. Amidst all these heaviness and heartbreaks you still love and LOVE DEEPLY. I don’t take you for granted IYAWO MI.”

Joy Chico Ejiro, the widow of late Nollywood director, Chico Ejiro, has taken to her social media page to write a touching post following the sudden death of her husband.

Joy described his death as a rude shock because they had made a lot of plans for christmas and she didn’t know it would be the last ”midnight gist” they’ll ever have.

She described him as a loving father and a wonderful husband.

Sharing the photo, she wrote ;

This is a rude shock!!!!!!!! we had a lot of plans for Christmas, we spoke a lot about how the day will go, we were recounting how GOD has been good to us this year and how grateful we are to be alive, I never knew it was going to be my last midnight gist with you. You died in my hands Chico, you left me so confused and devastated.
In all, I thank GOD for giving me the opportunity to spend the last 26yrs with you, you were a selfless man who was a wonderful husband and a great father.
I’m consoled by the beautiful life you lived and the impact you made in the movie industry and all that crossed your path. You will forever be in our hearts. Till we meet again my Baby Boy, I will have plenty gist for you my best friend

Popular Nigerian cross-dresser, Idris ‘Bobrisky’ Okuneye, has taken to his social media page to reflect on his life’s journey.

Bobrisky used the opportunity to explain he decided to switch to the female gender.

According to the socialite, he was a man for almost 25 years and he had nothing to show for it. However, when he got into the cross-dressing business, in less than one year, he started making so much money.

His post reads ;

Dis message is for you all to read before you judge me. I was formally a man for almost 25yrs, nothing to show for it. I kept struggling even with my certificate as a graduate of accounting in university of Lagos, nothing to still show for it. I saw how all my females friends were cashing out back then. I went home and think about my life. If I join robbery they will end up killing me, secondly I don’t even have that heart ❤️ to think to that dimension or to even scam people of their sweat 😓. while I was growing I have a little bit of female features in me, so I decide to try what cross dressing look like. Under one yr of cross dressing I started making money 💴. I was still surprise 😳. So I gave my body more time, rubbing expensive creams, smelling good, using more of females body pills 💊 and looking out for myself. Boom 💥 more money keep coming… men admiring me, women giving me endorsements from right and left. Short story I fit in as a female to a man.
