A man with hunchback, Suberu Dada, who was declared missing few weeks ago has reportedly been found dead in a suspected case of ritual killing.
The Kogi born Dada was kidnapped on Nov 22nd and his decaying body was found today, Dec 8th, at Iruvochinomi, Ege, Adavi LGA in Kogi state.
Kogi politician, Natasha Akpoti had taken to Facebook two days after his kidnap to share a “missing person” post, begging the public to reach out if they have information that could lead to his rescue.
According to her he was “abducted by gunmen in a black SUV while waiting to cross the road leading to Oride mosque, beside St. Paul’s Church Obeiba, Ihima.”
It is suspected that Suberu Dada was murdered for ritual purposes because of his hunchback.
Dada’s death comes years after Nigerian hunchbacks cried out that their lives are endangered because of the belief that their condition makes them potent for rituals.
Nigerian actress, Ronke Odusanya has finally spoken up after being accused of financially wrecking her baby’s father, Olanrewaju Saheed.
There was a report serving rounds on social media that the movie star had taken her baby’s father to court over the custody of their daughter and to request for a restraining order.
“Ronke requested for millions of Naira from her baby daddy and told him that she is a celebrity and she must celebrate the birthday in a very big way, the guy had to sell one of his cars worth 12m for 4m and gave Ronke the 4m of which Ronke didn’t end up celebrating any birthday,” the report read.
It was also alleged that Ronke advised Olanrewaju to sell his house worth N90M for her to set up a big business but his mother prevented her from achieving her goals.
According to Gistlover, her relationship with her baby daddy collapsed after he failed to do her bidding.

Music executive, David Adeleke better known as Davido, is presently mourning the death of his personal bodyguard, Ogbeide Tijani Olamilekan fondly called TJ.
The singers body guard, TJ died in the early hours of today at the age of 36, following a brief illness.
The sad news was shared by lawyer Prince, who shared a photo of the late body guard with the caption, “a soldier like no other”.
The DMW boss also took to his Instagram story to share a black photo, signifying that he’s currently mourning the death of TJ.
Fans and well wishers have taken to the comment section of the late body guard on Instagram, to commiserate with his family.
Tijani better known as TJ has reportedly been with the singer as his body guard since 2013, he died at the age of 36 and survived by wife and children.

In other news, Controversial Nigerian singer, Naira Marley has said he sees no reason of constantly showing off his wealth on social media.
He gave his own ’50 Cents’ on the issue of entertainers and celebrities feeling the urge to constantly flaunt their wealth and luxurious lifestyle on social media.
The rapper in a recent Twitter post, stated that he does not see the need to constantly show off his riches of assets.

The Federal Government has agreed to reduce the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), known as petrol, by N5.
The reduction will take effect from next week Monday, December 14.
Senator Ngige, Minister of Labour and Employment, made this known while briefing journalists after a closed-door meeting with the organized labour on Tuesday in Abuja.
The meeting was held to address the recent increase of PMS from N160 per litre to N170 and the hike in electricity tariff.
“Our discussion was fruitful and the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) which is the major importer and marketers of petroleum product and customers have agreed that there will be a slide down of the pump price of PMS.
“The price cut will get us about N5 per litre and that the price cut will take effect from next Monday, a week from today.”
Ngige noted that the reduction was not meant to suspend the deregulation of the petroleum sector as it did not affect the price of crude oil.
He, however, said that the NNPC as the major importer has agreed to cut costs like freight cost and demurrage.
Ngige also said that government and labour have agreed to wait until the next meeting on Jan. 25, 2021 to address the electricity tariff.
Ondo state first lady, Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, has shared her thoughts on reports of the reconciliation of Channels TV reporter, Pius Angbo and his wife, Ifeyinwa.
Recall Ifeyinwa, a medical doctor, had accused Pius Angbo, a Channels TV correspondent based in Benue, of constantly subjecting her to acts of domestic violence in their six years of marriage.

Two ladies identified as Ujunwa Offiah and Precious Chukwu have been arrested by the police for conspiring with their boyfriend to fake one’s kidnap.
It was learnt that the boyfriend, Blessed Ifesinachi who conspired with his two girlfriends to to stage the kidnap of one of them, to demand N30 million ransom from her family is currently on the run.
However, the teenage girl, Offiah who faked her own kidnap stated that she joked about the kidnap with her boyfriend, Ifesinachi and was surprised he took it seriously.
According to the report by Punch, Offia was arrested alongside an accomplice, Chukwu, whose phone was reportedly used to contact Offiah’s family.
The state Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, while parading the suspects at the command headquarters on Monday, said the prime suspect, Ifesinachi who is still at large, used Chukwu’s phone to cantact Offiah’s family for the ransom.
In his words,
“This is a case of conspiracy and staged kidnapping, and the man at the centre of this case, who happens to be a Uber driver, is still at large. We are going after him because he conspired with one of these two ladies, Offiah, who faked her kidnap.
“He cleverly used the phone of another girlfriend, Precious (Chukwu), to contact Offiah’s family, informing them that their daughter had been kidnapped.
“He requested N30m from Offiah’s family to get her freed and during negotiations, which involved the police, they settled for N700,000. While the money was being dropped, we took action and in the process arrested Offiah and Precious.”
Speaking with PUNCH, Offiah recounted how she met her boyfriend and how they planned and staged the kidnap.
“I met Ifesinachi in October, and when we got talking, I jokingly told him to kidnap me so that he would collect ransom from my sister. I never knew that he took it seriously until he told me he had gone to the village to meet a native doctor and also discussed with his guys about the deal. When he said he was ready, he realised that I was scared and threatened to kill me if I informed anybody of the plan.
“So, I refused to tell anybody because he is a cultist. On November 27, on my way back from school, I went to meet him and a girl, Patience, at 2nd Rainbow, and from there, we went to a hotel. At the hotel, he called my sister to demand N30m as ransom, but when I heard that my grandmother had collapsed in the village because of what happened to me, I told him to accept any amount they offered.
“On Thursday, he went to get the money and came back to the hotel on Friday morning. He told me he collected N600,000 and released me thereafter. When I saw my family members, I told them that I was kidnapped by some guys. I lied to my family and the police, because he threatened to kill me, including my sister’s children. It was when I saw his girlfriend and my schoolbag that I confessed about the whole kidnap,” she said.

A woman reportedly set her husband ablaze in their rented apartment in Gboko south area of Benue state.
A concerned citizen identified as Shom Akor Fanen took to Facebook to share photos of the injured man and confirmed that he is currently receiving treatment, although his condition is terrible.
The Facebook user, however, didn’t disclose the reason why the woman set her husband on fire.

An unidentified couple have tied the knot in an isolation center in India, after the bride tested positive for COVID-19.
The couple who decided to go through with their wedding despite the bride testing positive to the Corona virus, donned a full protective gear. The Indian lovebirds got married in hazmat suits at an isolation center.
The couple, whose names have not been made public, became husband and wife on Sunday, December 6th, in the courtyard of a coronavirus quarantine center in Baran, a district in the Rajasthan state, India, while wearing full personal protective equipment (PPE) including hazmat suits, face masks and visors.
At the wedding ceremony, the couple were able to exchange garlands — a traditional Indian wedding ceremony known as varmala— and a priest, wearing his own hazmat suit, married them beneath a canopy.
According to a local health official, identified as Rajendra Meena, it was the couple’s only choice after the bride and a few family members had tested positive for the coronavirus earlier that day and were admitted to the covid-19 isolation center.
In his words,
“We consulted with the families and they agreed to get married in the quarantine center without any elaborate rituals”.
The reconciliation between Channels TV reporter, Pius Anglo, with his wife, Ifeyinwa, following the intervention of the Benue state governor, Samuel Ortom has sparked outrage on social media.

A Nigerian man who is an engineer, has suggested that someone who earns as little as the country’s minimum wage, (N30,000) can start a family and be able to sustain it.
The man took to his page on Twitter to give the story of family he knows where the father of the house earns N17k, his wife earns, N8k while their eldest daughter earns N10k and they are fine.

Respected creative resource, entrepreneur and talent manager, Efe Omorogbe hosted a select group of friends and colleagues on the 3rd edition of the exquisite music listening experience tagged Connoisseur Cruise on Sunday, November 22, 2020 at Lekki Leisure Lake, Lagos.
The concept behind the event is an informal gathering of music minds, music connoisseurs, creative minds & music executives with the primary aim of giving them a platform to relax away from their busy schedule & indulge their passion for beautiful music without being passionate professionals.
Veteran creative Elvina Ibru curated the play list around the theme SONGS OF FREEDOM and treated guests to a nostalgic list of songs amidst, food, laughter & memories. Guests in attendance included Lami Phillips, Padita Agu, Frederick Leonard, Ikhane Akighe, Nwanne Okafor, Rhiemen Omorogbe, Tomirin Falana, Lucy Edet, Victoria Nkong and several others. Efe Omorogbe later served guests to his own playlist which he describes as “higher than the heavens”
The 2nd edition featured a multi-genre/generational cruise through some of the most beautiful music from Nigeria over the last 60 years laced with insightful convo and witty banter. The event was broadcast live on Pop Central TV and IG Live.
at the 2nd edition which was tagged the Independence Edition included Padita Agu, Yibo Koko, Sunny Neji, Timi Dakolo, Helen Abutu, Tony Green, Toyin Roy, Toun Banjo and Andre Blaze.
The first edition hosted at CCX, Lagos had Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Lucy Edet, BukiHq, Okechukwu Izeogu, Loos Kaynon, Nwanne Okafor, Ikhane Akhigbe, Paul Okeugo, Toyin Roy and Victoria Nkong among others in attendance.
“I’ve been talking about doing this for a while”, quips Omorogbe. Particularly with my friend, BukiHq since when she was at Classic FM. The music gets to become too much work at some point and Connoisseur Cruise is a deliberate attempt to flip that script, open up time and simply immerse ourselves in the magic of mind blowing music.”
Efe elaborates further, “It’s a convergence of music minds basically. The playlist is curated by the host/co-host and the guest list is made of people who are known to have intense love for the music (genre, sub-genre, era or artiste). People who have no qualms about expressing it. It’s so far been utterly fun and relaxing.”

The lady, @__kekeeeeee on the microblogging platform revealed that she got her first mortgage house at the age of 24 and she’s so grateful for the achievement.
It appears she was able to achieve the feat with the combined effort of herself and her partner and since sharing the news, tweeps have congratulated her and her family.

The internet sensation opened up during a ‘Question and Answer’ session with his fans on Instagram as one follower decided to ask if he still speaks to Bob.
James Brown, in his response, said he no longer speaks with Bobrisky because Bob blocked him after his birthday.
According to James Brown, Bobrisky was angry that he didn’t wish him a happy birthday. However, James Brown insisted that he wished him, but Bob didn’t see it.
