A Nigerian lady who donned ripped jean to get her National Identity card in Port Harcourt, was allegedly given needle and thread to sew the jean before she was attended to.

According to a popular Twitter influencer, Lazy Writa who shared the story on the micro-blogging platform, another lady was sent back home without being attended to because she wore a skimpy skirt.

He further alleged that the lady with the ripped jean paid three thousand naira for the National identity card, but was delayed until she sew the ripped part of jean.

His tweet reads,

“They gave this girl needle and thread to sew her ripped jean together before they attended to her today just to get a National I.D. After paying N3,000 too Nigeria’s problem is very deep.

“The other girl with a short skirt was sent back because ‘You don’t have respect for the Nigerian government’ On top National ID that you are paying for.

“Anyways, this happened at Elimgbolu Civic Centre Portharcourt today, For a temporary card o, It is well with Nigeria”.

A Nigerian man has paid a worship center in his area back in their own coin, as he placed his sound system in the direction of a church that usually disturbs him in the morning and on weekdays.

According to his friend, @ebelee who shared the story on Twitter, the church is of the habit of using loudspeakers to disturb the community early in the morning, and weekdays are not left out.

To payback, the unidentified man placed his sound system on the fence demarcating the two compounds, and started playing American singer, Cardi B’s “WAP”.

Narrating the funny event his friend tweeted,

“Faysal has killed me this morning. There’s a church next to his house that’s always making noise early in the morning even on weekdays, baba carried his sound system from his house to put on the fence demarcating the 2 compounds and started playing WAP.”

CCTV footage shows the moment a street urchin opened a woman’s car and stole her purse while she was feet away putting things in her trunk.

In the video, the woman is seen with a shopping cart in a mall car park. Her trunk is open as she loads the things she bought in there with the help of a man who is with her.

While they are at it, a boy stealthily walks to the driver’s door and tries to open it. It proves hard at first but he eventually manages to open it then he leans in and steals her purse and walks away without being noticed by the woman and her make companion.

The video has confused viewers as they question how the pair couldn’t see the boy or hear him open the door.

South African Comedian and host of ‘The Daily Show’, Trevor Noah has been picked to host next year’s Grammy Awards.

The Recording Academy made the announcement hours before the nominees for the upcoming show are revealed.

The comedian confirmed this via a statement, he said ;

According to the lady, she’s single and she decided to try her luck with a friend of hers who was also single, sadly, it meant a brick wall.

A Nigerian lady identified as Omalicha, has berated men who split the bills with their wife or girlfriend, while out on a date.

There is a term called “Going dutch”, used to describe when each party on a date pays for their own expenses. According to Omalicha, it is stupid for a man to agree to it.

In a related news, A lady has recounted how a man she went on a date with ditched her after she refused to pay his bill.

The lady identified on twitter as Coco The Lagos Baker, recounted going on a date with a man her cousin introduced her to and after they both ordered and finished up, he expected her to pay the bill which she refused.

According to her, she paid for only what she had but the man who had expected her to pay the entire bill started making up lies that he forgot his ATM in the car. She however insisted she was not paying the bill and that was the beginning of the end of a date gone sour.

The video of a woman in hijab, who slumped while delivering a speech has been making rounds on social media.

According to reports, the woman identified as Mrs. Hajjiya Bisola Rahama Zakariyya, is the principal of Elkanemi College Of Islamic Theology (Girls Section) and the unfortunate incident occurred in Maiduguri, on Saturday, November 21.

She was reportedly rushed to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of an undisclosed hospital, but died on Tuesday, November 23.

A lecturer, @Ak_Yusufari took to Twitter to mourn the death of the deceased. He wrote,

“Surely every soul shall taste death! My condolence to all staffs and students of Elkanemi College of Islamic theology Maiduguri over the sudden death of Mrs. Zakariya the principal of girls section, it is a great loss not only to Elkanemi family but to Borno State and Nigeria.”

The man took to Twitter to share photos of the moment he popped the four-word question and she accepted amid joy and excitement.
