Popular Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, has taken to Instagram to unburden her heart.
According to her, she makes effort to make people around her happy, but the gesture isn’t reciprocated. She said nobody even tries to lift a finger to make her smile.
The mother of one also enquired from her followers if they have also share the same feelings.
The actress wrote,
“I try to make everyone happy, but none of them even tries to make me smile.
Pls raise your hands if you feel this way!!! It’s well.”
According to a comment she dropped on her page, she hinted that she’d become a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria someday.
Her disclosure is coming after she met with the Senator George Akume, the Minister of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs with some CYMS delegates.
Tonto Dikeh had uploaded pictures from the event and a follower of hers took to her comment section and asked;
“Tonto do you intend going into politics someday?”, a question which she answered in the affirmative.
“You are looking at a future Senator”, Tonto Dikeh responded.
A newborn baby is currently fighting for her life, after a burning lantern fell on her, shortly after her delivery in Calabar, Cross River state.
According to an Instagram user identified as Big Beezy who shared the story on the platform, the baby’s mother, Mrs Okon Daniel, went to a “traditional delivery home” to have her child due to lack of funds to go to a modern hospital.
At the traditional delivery home, a lantern was used to illuminate the room as there was no power supply, however, just as the baby made her way out, the lantern mistakenly fell over and caused an explosion which in turn burnt the baby.
The baby who is now four days old, has been transferred to another hospital in Calabar for better treatment.
Popular Nigerian singer, Emma Nyra recently took to her official Twitter page to reveal who her favorite singers are.
In a simple tweet, Nyra stated that her favourite musicians were Tekno, Wande Coal, and Wizkid. The singer went on to ask her followers if they have any questions for her.

Nigerian actress, Didi Ekanem has said that the EndSARS protest that was staged in different parts of Nigeria in October, didn’t make any impact on the Nigerian government.
According to her, security operatives in the country are still harassing innocent citizens on the street.
Recounting the horrible encounter she had with the Lagos task force, yesterday, November 18th, she revealed that officials of the task force seized her car and wasted her time from 9 am to 10 pm, before allowing her to go after being harassed by their commander and paying a huge sum of money to collect her car keys.
In her words,
“So yesterday, I made a one way U-turn on my way out, and before I could even complete the turning, I saw 10 task foe heavily armed men pointing guns at me with loud screams. As I opened my door, they threw me out of the drivers seat, seized my key and told me to go to the back seat with 4 policemen. At that point, I started crying and begging them buy they wouldn’t have it. They took me to an unknown destination, according to them, it’s where we will wait for their commander to come and decide what to do to my car.
“From 10-2pm, 5 hours, we waited for their commander to come. While waiting, I had cried out my eyes cos I was uncomfortable and hungry. To make matters worse, I was intensely harassed by one of them who was almost trying to use play to touch my breast. At that point, I lost my cool and flipped on him and he started saying that he’s only trying to help me”.

The Federal Government on Thursday, announced that it will regulate social media as part of efforts aimed at curbing fake news.
Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed who made this known at a press conference in Abuja, said that contrary to reports online, it has no plan to shut down the internet or social media.
It said it would only work with stakeholders to regulate social media.
Mohammed noted that social media was used wrongly to cause mayhem in the aftermath of the #EndSARS protest.
He said social media propagated fake news and celebrities used online platforms to incite people who wrecked havoc in the wake of the protests.

On October 20, Men dressed in Army uniform stormed the Lekki tollgate and reportedly opened fire on #EndSARS protesters.
Many reports have described the incident as a massacre of Nigerian youths who were simply protesting and demanding an end to police brutality.
In an interactive session with newsmen on Thursday November 19, Lai Mohammed, said the incident being portrayed so far was a “social media massacre” or a “hoax massacre.”
“While we await the Judicial Panel in Lagos to unravel what transpired at the Lekki Toll Gate, what we can say, based on testimonies available in the public space, is that the world may have just witnessed, for the very first time ever, a MASSACRE WITHOUT BODIES! Some have tagged it ‘social media massacre’.
The testimony of Brig.-Gen, Ahmed Ibrahim Taiwo of the Nigerian Army before the Panel was compelling, and I am sure many of you have listened to or watched it.
The highlights, for those who may not have watched the testimony, are:
– Soldiers were deployed all over Lagos, including Lekki Toll Gate, after the other security agencies were overwhelmed on Oct. 20th 2020, upon the request of the state government.
– Before deployment, the soldiers were briefed on the Rules of Engagement, which they adhered to all through
– Soldiers at Lekki Toll Gate fired blank ammunitions into the air
– Blank ammunition cannot do any damage to the flesh, not to talk of killing anyone
– Firing live ammunition into the crowd, as some have alleged, would have led to mass killing, which never happened.”

A man, simply identified as Ikhuoria, has cried out for help after his girlfriend threatened to make him run mad if he dares to end their relationship.
Ikhuoria took to twitter to lament about the current mess he is in. According to him, his girlfriend and her friends visited him in the morning carrying calabashes.
The girlfriend then said if he ever decides to break up with her, she will drop the calabash and he will run mad.

Bashir was under fire yesterday, November 18th after he shared new photos of him lovingly holding his fiancée, Halima who he will be tying the knot with on Saturday, November 21st.

Popular cleric, Prophet Israel Oladele Ogundipe of CCC Global Genesis Church, has been sentenced to a two-year jail term for defrauding a U.K- based woman.
Israel’s conviction was sanctioned by a Lagos State High court.
The presiding Judge, Justice Olabisi Akinlade slammed a two year jail term on Prophet Israel who is the Sheperd-in-Charge of CCC Global Genesis church on Wednesday, November 18 after he was found guilty of charges leveled against him.
Oladele was charged with seven counts charges bordering on fraud and obtaining money by false pretenses, preferred against him by the Lagos State government.
According to reports, he defrauded one Mrs. Olaide William Oni to the tune of N17m which she gave him to procure some landed properties on her behalf because she thought he was a good pastor.
The victim said she first met the prophet 2002 during her visit to Nigeria, when she was taken to his church for prayers by her step-sister.
She said ;
“He told me something about my husband in one of his prophecies, that I should not have anything jointly with him because he was having an affair behind my back.
He gave me a liquid to drink and I started vomiting. I was asked to sit down and he lighted a candle and said I should be there until the candle goes off.”
Speaking further, she alleged he took her in company of her step-sister and cousin to a bush in Sango Ota area of Ogun State, where she was allegedly bathed with some concoctions near a river.
According to her, her misfortune started when she returned to London, the prophet asked her to invest in landed property in Lagos, which she agreed. This she did after consultations with some persons.
She allegedly sent N17 million in five tranches of N900,000, N2.5 million, N8.5 million, N2.7 million and £12,000 between 2002 and 2005 to purchase the property on her behalf, which turned out to be a fraud.

A lady identified as Dabira Ayuku, who said she participated in the #EndSARS protest at the Lekki tollgate, has shared her experience from the event of October 20.
She narrated how soldiers and policemen opened fire and allegedly killed Nigerian protesters holding flags on the night of October 20.
The lady recounted how a soldier kept dancing while shooting at the protesters.
In a petition she submitted to the Lagos State Judicial Panel of Inquiry into the toll gate shooting, Ayuku said; “The soldiers were asking people to run, whilst they shot at them. I remember a particular soldier that kept dancing whilst he shot.”
In the 29-paragraph affidavit she deposed to and submitted to the Justice Doris Okuwobi-led panel, Ayuku said the shootings started at about some minutes before 7pm and lasted for about 45 minutes.
She wrote, “The soldiers kept shooting at random and I saw people falling to the ground, injured or lifeless. I took cover behind the wheel of one of the trucks at the protest ground to shield myself from the bullets that were flying all over.
“A male protester, who identified me, walked towards me and attempted to sit beside me but was hit by a bullet before he could sit down beside me. I noticed more people being hit by bullets and with the help of others, we began lifting them from the ground to the stage truck.
“Among the people placed on the truck, I saw four lifeless bodies on the stage truck that night and two on the floor.”
According to her, a senior military officer arrived the scene in a jeep, raised a white cloth and ordered the soldiers to stop shooting.
She said, “He appeared to be a senior military officer and also well known to the soldiers because they recognised his authority and obeyed his orders.”
Ayuku said upon a visit to the Grandville Hospital, in Lagos, she met injured protesters who were being treated and operated upon at no cost.
She added, “The injured protesters with gunshot wounds that I met and interacted with in the hospital were people shot in the chest, head, ribs, hands and legs. Some concerned protesters and I started to cater for their welfare.”
Ayuku, who assured the judicial panel that she has pictorial evidence of the incident, said, “I am apprehensive about my safety as some strange persons have been noticed visiting my house, asking after me, with some concerned persons duly alerting me of this suspicious and alarming visits and movement, a situation which has forced me to move away in fear of my life.”
Recall that the Nigerian Army has on several cases, denied that soldiers shot at or killed any protester at the Lekki tollgate, insisting that only blank bullets were fired into the air.

On October 20th, protesters gathered at the Lekki Toll Gate to press home their demands once again, but there has been mixed reportage to the events that occurred that night.
DJ Switch had bravely gone live on her Instagram page even as the shootings were going on and in the process, exposed the gruesome to the world.
American Television channel, CNN has released its findings from an independent investigation carried out on the October 20 shooting and it further proved that so many things happened that were being swept under the carpet.

Talented Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele has replied an online prophet who prophesied that she would die if she ever undergoes surgery.
The Twitter prophet who claimed God sent him a message to the actress, took to the micro blogging platform to warn her ahead.
Sharing the prophecy, he wrote,
