The woman celebrated her 65th birthday yesterday, November 2, and her last daughter organized a surprise package to mark her new age.
In the video shared online, the unidentified lady went to her mother’s garri shop in the popular “new market” in Port Harcourt with the surprise team.
The lady, who went all out to make her mother’s day special within her budget, surprised her mum with a cake, food basket and a trumpeter played beautiful tunes.
The mother was all smiles as she reveled in the beautiful moment.

Kiddwaya and Erica’s fans held a virtual “vigil” last night to pray against forces coming between their faves’ relationship.
The vigil came following the rumour that the kiddrica’s loveship has hit the rocks after they unfollowed each other on photo-sharing app, Instagram.
In a bid to get the reality stars back together, a Kiddrica fan account organized a prayer session on Instagram Live, that was attended by other die-hard fans.

A makeup artist identified as Elvina Japheth Abilo, has tragically lost her life after a jealous lover set a home ablaze in Bayelsa State.
The incident happened on Saturday, October 31, about 3 am, when the suspect, a 40-year-old man identified as Etifa Obukulubu, set fire to the home of his ex-girlfriend after she ended their relationship.
According to reports, the exit door out of the house was jammed from outside when the incident occurred.
Obukulu reportedly targeted his ex-lover identified as Wilberforce, but unknown to him, she wasn’t home and it was just a Pastor and his assistant, Elvina.
According to residents of Igbogene community the suspect, who is a commercial driver, had waited for all three but didn’t notice when Wilberforce left her house for her friend’s house where she was to pass the night.
“He waited for them to enter the house. And use fuel to set fire around the house. But he did not know that his girlfriend had left to go and sleep with another friend.”
Late Elvina’s cousin, Joyce Abilo said the suspect’s former girlfriend ended their relationship because her parents are not in support of it.
Joyce said ;
“He felt that Pastor Henry is encouraging the girlfriend to leave him. They are related by blood so the parents are not in support of it. My sister is a friend to the targeted girl.”
The Spokesman to the Bayelsa Police Command, Asinim Butswat, who confirmed the incident, said investigation is ongoing.

A Nigerian man who is grateful for the gift of life, has taken to his Twitter page to narrate how he survived being brutally stabbed 12 times 6 years ago.
@Mazipita shared how he suffered cardiac tamponade, pneumothorax and was almost dead before being airlifted to Kings College Hospital in UK where surgeons battled to save his life.
He also disclosed he underwent an open heart surgery with no chance of survival. He averred that having a second chance to live is something he doesn’t take for granted despite his shortcomings.
The Nigerian man tweeted,
By this time 6 years ago, I was brutally stabbed 12 time at work. Suffered cardiac tamponade, pneumothorax, & all most dead. Airlifted & those surgeons at Kings College Hospital battled 2 save my life. It was an open heart surgery with no chance of survival, may be brain dead but hey, God did it, the doctors, the nurses did it, my family who awaited the arrival of my dead body were elated.
I can’t thank enough God almighty, the @NHS & the healthcare staff who battled to make sure I am here today. It was a journey. It is still a journey.
2nd chance in life is something I can never take for granted despite all my shortcomings.. Thank you Lord.

A Nigerian Doctor, Dr Olufunmilayo has warned Nigerian ladies to stop putting toothpaste in their v*gina, because it doesn’t make it tighter.

I know only God could have brought me this far and the view from the 36th floor will be even more amazing. I know this was meant to be a hot picture but I decided to share this to let someone out there know that we are all in this thing called life together. All of it, the happy and sad, the joy and aches, the wins and loss, the view will only get better, I promise you.

From the look of things, there is no end in sight to the ASUU strike as members of the union in Calabar have vowed to continue with the strike until the Federal Government meets the union’s demands, stating that they will not go back to the classes on empty stomachs.
Dr Aniekan Brown who is the zonal chairman of the union, shared this when he addressed a press conference at the University of Calabar on Monday, November 2.
“Sometimes, either by deliberate ill-intended machinations or for want of understanding, ASUU’s struggles are misunderstood. In the light of the above, it considered expedient to engage the public, to bring to the fore ASUU’s stance on the on-going strike action, and the government-induced distraction known as the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System and the Federal Government of Nigeria’s illicit commitment, hard-work, determination, and treachery to forcefully migrate staff of Federal Universities to IPPIS.” he said
The press conference was attended by ASUU chairmen from universities in the zone which comprises Abia State University, Akwa Ibom State University, Cross River University of Technology, Alex Ekwueme University, Ebonyi, University of Uyo and University of Calabar.
Nigerian Universities have been closed for eight months after ASUU declared an indefinite strike in March this year. The union’s president, Professor Biodun Ogunyemi, who announced the strike at a press conference, said the strike is over the Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System and the non-implementation of the 2009 agreement.

The argument degenerated into a religious fight as some tweeps accused Northerners of being hypocrites. Some even went as far as insulting the Prophet Mohammed.
In a Twitter tread she shared earlier this evening, Rahma said it is unfortunate that the harmless photos she shared resulted in a religious clash. She stated that she will not tolerate any form of insult on her religion and Prophet Mohammed.
Salam, it’s sad and unfortunate waking up to series of unexpected messages, tags & trends over the harmless pictures i posted. As a human, I laughed at some, frowned against many & disapproved most. To the most unfortunate event, some of these comments took a different dimension.
Having mixed followers,bashing each other’s faiths to the extent of creating trends like “Assistant Allah” (subhanallah), raining curses and some tweeting blasphemous words to our Prophet Muhammad (SAW)- this is the height of it and it stands condemnable and regrettable.
I’m with all sense of sincerity, dissociating myself from such derogatory & hurtful words. To everyone who knows me or follows me, should know I’m not d type that react to anything or embrace advices from social media moral police.But my Prophet & religion is where i draw d line.
Any disrespect to my religion and Prophet regarding those pictures remain condemned and reprobated, not in any way & not on any event. The perpetrators should learn to separate people’s way of life and respect for their faiths.
I remain defender of my Prophet in heart, online and offline. I deeply and sincerely apologized for the unseen circumstances that led to these avoidable, yet regrettable dramas.
It’s in human nature to judge others and act as saint, I appreciate those who felt offended & decided to call me through DM’s, Text messages & phone calls. That’s true love & I’m never taking that for granted. EVER!

Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade has reacted to accusations that the government paid her to make people doubt the Lekki toll gate shooting of October 20, 2020.
Recall that few days after the incident, the star actress shared a tweet which sparked outrage on social media.
She wrote, “If People died during the Lekki Toll Assault , let their people speak out please and if there were No deaths then enough with the sensationalization because it does not remove from the Crime that happened.”
She was brutally castigated for insinuating that nobody died in the shooting and later deleted the tweet and apologized in subsequent tweets.
Omotola, has filmed a video, explaining her innocent intention behind the tweet. She said she was surprised to see that people were questioning her stance and alleging that she has compromised.
She denied the allegations and said she has never been bribed by the government. She added that her tweet was misconstrued and people began assuming she had been paid.
Omotola said she realized that it appeared the authorities were trying to deny people were killed at the Lekki toll gate, so her tweets were aimed at stating that whether anyone died or not doesn’t change the fact that a crime happened and innocent unarmed protesters were shot at.
Nollywood actress, Ada Ameh has thanked her fans and colleagues, following the successful burial of her beloved daughter, Gift Ameh.
The quite aggrieved mother, in a video she made and shared on her Instagram page, showed appreciation to her fans and colleagues for their love and support all through.
She said,

Former BBNaija housemate and blogger, Ike Onyema has deleted the birthday post he made for his girlfriend, Mercy Eke on Instagram and Twitter.
Earlier in the day, it was reported that Mercy Eke declared herself “Mrs. H” when it is rather obvious there is no letter “H” in either of Ike Onyema’s known names.
Her post came in the wake of rumors that’s been serving rounds online that both lovers have suffered a breakup after a photo of Mercy and a mystery man surfaced.
However, a quick visit to Ike’s official Twitter and Instagram pages shows that he has deleted the birthday post he made for Mercy Eke on the 29th of September this year.
In the now deleted birthday post, Ike and Mercy rocked Lambo’s “I just wanna relass and be taken kiaruf” merch.
“Hey birthday girl ?, you are the most gorgeous girl I have ever met with the sweetest soul?. The best sight in the world is to look at you smile. From the day you walked into my life, you’re all I think about. Your my peace and I can’t believe you’re mine,” Ike wrote on Mercy’s birthday.
Gift Osayuwu, the 11-year-old boy who was arrested for his alleged involvement in Edo Police station attack, has been enrolled in a private school.
Confirming the development on Monday, November 2, Coordinator of human rights group, Talakwa Parliament, Kola Edokpayi, said the boy was enrolled into JSS 1 in one of the ”best private schools” in the Benin City, today.
Gift was accompanied to the school by his widowed mother, a pure water seller.
Recall that the boy was arrested for allegedly joining the gang of hoodlums that attacked Oba Market police station at Evbuotubu area of Benin City. After the attack, he was said to have worn the uniform of a police sergeant and declared himself as the Inspector General of Police (IGP) He was released by the police on Friday, October 30.
Meanwhile, donations into the boy’s Education Trust Fund have continued to pour in from well meaning Nigerians.

The reality star and CEO of Lambo homes, in a series of post on snapchat has hinted that her relationship with Ike is over, and revealed she is set to tie the knot with her misery lover.
Mercy took to snapchat to reintroduce herself, as she notes that she’s now “Mrs H”.
The actress and video vixen who shared a video of herself smiling wrote, “Good morning from Mrs H“.
Similarly, a social media user believed to be mercy’s close friend posted a photo that confirms the love story of the Big Brother Naija season 4 love birds, Mercy and Ike has ended.
In the photo, Mercy is seen being all loved up with the mystery man, and captioned it, “Love is a beautiful thing @sugarplum055 can’t wait”.
In another post, the new “Mrs H”, hinted at a court wedding with her new lover.
