BBNaija 2020 contestant, Lucy Edet, has taken to her social media page to speak against the pressure fans put on their faves to meet certain expectations due to their overnight fame.
According to Lucy, such expectations might lead to depression.
She also hinted that it might get to a point that she’d be forced to quit social media.

Former Big Brother Naija housemate and finalist, Nengi has debunked speculations that she underwent a body enhancement surgery.
According to the 2nd runner up of the just concluded BBNaija show, she only removed fat from her stomach and nothing more.
She said coming out of the house, she started seeing stories that she enhanced her bum, and she regretted why she only said she did liposuction in the house, without explaining the type of surgery.
The beauty queen who maintained that liposuction is nothing to be ashamed of, added that she regrets ‘not blogging about her experience and would consider blogging her next surgical procedure’.

Mother of Kiddwaya has officially shipped the KIDDRICA Boat.
Susan Waya, showed up for Erica Nlewedim at her Abuja Meet-and-Greet, where she declared her support and love for the actress.
Recall that Erica and Kiddwaya started off their relationship in the Big Brother Naija house, and they have remained with each other ever since. They have a dedicated fan base, the #Kiddrica, who wishes to see them get married in the future.

Big brother Naija lockdown housemate, Timmy Sinclair popularly known as Trikytee, has met with the governor of his state, Douye Diri of Bayelsa state.
TrikyTee was all smiles as he met the state governor in the state house on Wednesday, September 30th, in company of his dad.
TrikyTee shared a video of the meeting and wrote,
“I feel so humbled this morning, I finally got the chance to meet with our Governor, His Excellency SENATOR DOUYE DIRI Governor of Bayelsa State along side my Dad.”
Recently, the 35 year-old filmmaker went Live on his Instagram page as he moved with an entourage within the state. In the video, his upper body was out of the sunroof and was seen waving at people.

A Nigerian man identified as Tosin Silver has shared his doubts on if Big Brother Naija winner, Laycon would be able to maintain relevance despite his new fame.
Tosin stated that Laycon is not marketable and might not get many endorsement deals from brands.
According to Tosin only 5 housemates are marketable and would definitely get numerous endorsement, naming Erica, Nengi, Kiddwaya, Dorathy and Ozo, as the marketable housemates of BBNaila lockdown edition.

No fewer than ten suspected internet fraudsters have been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
According to a statement released by the spokesperson of the antigraft agency, Wilson Uwujaren, the suspects who were identified as Isaac Ogundayo; David Ayodele; Etiowe Kelvin; Seun Afolabi; Saheed Olalekan; Oluwatobi Damilola; Sukanmi Odofin; Ademola Okunola; Joseph Damilare and Abass Sodiq, were arrested in their hideout at Ajinde Road 4, off Akala-Expressway, Ibadan in the early hours of today Friday, October 2 by men of the Commission from the Ibadan Zonal Office.
Uwujaren said the arrest of the suspects followed credible intelligence and many weeks of surveillance on the location.
He added several fraudulent documents and other instruments of fraud were recovered from the suspects at the point of the arrest.
“They will be charged to court as soon as investigations are completed,” he stated.
Big Brother Naija housemate and sport enthusiast, Ozo has revealed why he ignored his love interest at the final Saturday night party of the show.
Recall that the reality show held her final Saturday night party last weekend and the event had a little bit of reunion as previously evicted housemates were invited to have a final groove with the finalists.

Big Brother Naija first runner up, Dorathy Bachor is severely sick and was rushed to the hospital in the early hours of today.
According to her sister Cynthia Bachor who shared the news on her Twitter page, the reality show star is currently on admission in the hospital.
Cynthia revealed that rushing Dora to the hospital is the scariest thing that has ever happened to her while she urged the explorer (Dora’s fans) and well meaning Nigeria to pray her so she can get well soon.

The Federal Government of Nigeria has directed all schools to reopen in the country on Monday, October 12th after months of closure due to COVID-19 pandemic.
The resumption date was announced by the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, at a press briefing in Abuja today.
Adamu urged academic institutions adhere strictly to the guidelines for the reopening of schools initially announced by the presidential task force.
According to the Minister of Eduaction, state and private schools should work out their modalities to reopen their schools. while all unity schools (Federal Government Colleges) should open by October 12th.
In his words,
“The decision was reached after exhaustive discussions with education stakeholders in the public and private sector as well ad international and development partners. All state and private schools are to work out their modalities to reopen their schools. All unity schools (Federal Government Colleges) should open by October 12. I’m glad to report that there has not been any single case of COVID-19 in all Unity Schools. No single fatality among the students”.

Big Brother Naija season 5 winner, Laycon has finally cleared the air about the housemate he initially disclosed his SC genotype to.
Recall that when his genotype became public knowledge, Erica was under fire by social media users and was accused of bodyshaming Laycon despite knowing he was sickle cell.
It was alleged that Erica was the only housemate that knew about Laycon’s genotype before now and used it against him during their fight in the house.
Erica, however, refuted the claims that she mocked him despite knowing his genotype, stating that all she said during their fight was as a result of bottled up emotions and not because she knew he was sickle cell.
The singer has finally laid the issue to rest during his interview with Inspiration FM this morning. According to him, the only housemate he remembered telling about being Sickle Cell was his close pal, Vee, and it was because he knew she would respect the information.

The young promising man and creative director of Penciled Celebrities died on October 1st at the Apollo Hospital in New Delhi, India.
The brand made his health condition public in August and solicited for prayers and financial support through fund raising platform, GoFundme. They successfully raised the required amount within 24 hours and he was flown to India for the Liver surgery, but unfortunately didn’t make it.
The news of his demise was announced on their Instagram page.

A Nigerian man, simply identified as Babatunde has been left shocked after his girlfriend attacked and broke up with him for sending her N15,000 for her birthday celebration.
Apparently, it was her birthday and she requested for money from her boyfriend, which he obliged and sent N15,000.

Muhammad Lamco, a Nigerian Twitter user came under serious heat on social media yesterday, October 1st after he called MTN’s attention to a latest cheat code her users are using for free data.
Recently MTN users have been getting free data after dialing a certain cheat code on their phones.
