A Nigerian pastor has encouraged young men to pursue love and marriage irrespective of their current financial situation as “God will make a way”

The pastor, Sam Odeg shared images of him and his wife when they were at their lowest and where they were now in life. He encourages young men to pursue whom they love, stating that one way or the other things would work out.

While celebrating their wedding anniversary, he shared his story and also images of his spouse both before and after their wedding.

Narrating his story, he wrote;

“These pictures were taken on Friday, 16th September, 2022 in my one room as a bachelor. That place she sat was my bed too.

And all that you see there were the only properties I had. Thank YOU LORD JESUS CHRIST

She was making our wedding lists there. We kept cancelling out things that had high prices and replacing them with cheaper ones.

We had planned to get married on 10th December 2022 that same year. But it didn’t work out because of financial constraints. So we postponed it.

We refixed the date to be on Monday 10th April, 2023 the next year. It still didn’t work out because of finances again. We shifted it yet again.

Finally, by faith, with lots of doubts and fears oh, we fixed it to be on Monday 10th July 2023. And GOD did it for us.

We already decided that whichever year and month our wedding would hold, it would be on the 10th of any month we would choose. GOD did it for us.

Just like yesterday, we will be ONE YEAR tomorrow!

Thus far hath the LORD brought us! Kai!

FATHER we say THANK YOU!

We have vows never to share in Your GLORY. NEVER LORD! NEVER!

The post which the Love doctor shared on his Instagram story contained date location ideas and the amount that should be spent.

He stated that a man is supposed to spend N140,000 to N150,000 during a first date with a well detailed explanation.

His write-up read;

“This is the Basic Amount a Guy is expected to pay on a first Date with a lady:

1) Movie – N8,000 ( IMAX ) x2 =N16,000

(2) Popcorn – N4,000 x2 = N8,000

(3) Hotdog – N5,000 x 2 = N10,000

(4) Drink – N4,000 N2,000 x 2 =

(5) Lunch After the movie = N75,000

(6) Transport = N25,000

(7) Ice Cream = N12,000 – N6000 x 2

N140,000 – N150,000 on the first Date.

A Nigerian man has received backlash over the video of his Edo parent’s shocking reaction after seeing a washing machine in the UK for the first time.

Sharing on the microblogging platform, X, a tweep identified as @ChuksEricE disclosed that the young man was doing his laundry when his parents entered the kitchen with an electrified look.

The young man recorded his parents smiling sheepishly at the washing machine as they observed the technological advancement. His father who was squatting, suddenly, fell on the floor to watch the machine spinning the clothes without manpower.

Apparently, his parents hailed from a small village in Edo state and hadn’t seen a washing machine prior to their visit to the UK. The young man exclaimed that his dad and mum had just disappointed him with their expression.

A 35-year-old railway worker Santosh Lohar, working in a forested region near the city of Nawada in Bihar India, killed a snake by biting it.

The laborer suffered a rude awakening after the snake bit him during his sleep but instead of seeking medical treatment first, he took a metal rod, pierced the snake, and bit it back twice, according to local media.

The Indian man explained that a local superstition propelled him to take action as it is thought that two bites back will return the poison to its maker.

He said, “In my village, there’s a belief that if a snake bites you, you must bite it back twice to neutralize the venom”. It is believed that biting the snake prevents him from dying.

The snake died, but Lohar survived as he was rushed to the hospital, where he received care overnight. He was said to be given antivenom, responded well to the treatment and was discharged the next day.

It is a well-known fact across the world that people can die of a snake bite and so the incident has sparked a debate amongst social media viewers as to whether the snake was really poisonous, as its identity has not been confirmed.

The lady shared a romantic video of a lot of the things her husband sent her while at the orientation camp.

The husband a corper currently serving his country did not allow his service to come in between him and his wife. The man sent videos and images of himself engaging in various activities such as SAED classes, on the parade ground, drills, and more.

The couple captured in a video posted on TikTok were seen at their wedding wearing outfits made from the traditional Igbo Isi Agu fabric, instead of the suit and white wedding gown commonly worn during church weddings.

The groom wore a top sewed with matching Isi Agu fabric as the bride’s gown, the gown was sewn to look like a traditional white wedding gown, complete with a veil.

The video shared by a TikTok user has gone viral, with many netizens commenting on the uniqueness of their attire. They praised them for breaking the norm and wearing something they could afford.

The lady who goes by the handle @svnfl17 posted the video on TikTok, expressing her surprise and astonishment. She explained that such an expensive ride had exceeded her expectations, instead, she was waiting for something like a Suzuki to pick her up. In her own words

Netizens were shocked to see the Nigerian veteran actor Hanks Anuku on the street waving a Nigerian flag and banner saying “Hunger Dey”.

The actor caught on camera had taken to the streets to protest by himself to protest the current hardship in the country and the deteriorating economic situation which has led to rampant inflation and increased cost of living.

Nigerians who have seen the video were disheartened to see a veteran Nigerian actor protesting over food costs in the streets, remarking on just how bad things have gotten in the country. They wonder what could have led him to this point.

Many are also worried as there have been cases of old Hollywood actors struggling due to property and financial difficulties even though this was the point in their careers they were meant to be relaxing.

A Nigerian woman by the name of Blessing Okonkwo has been apprehended by the Nigerian Police for selling her three-year-old brother Friday Okonkwo for N410,000 in Adamawa State.

She had carried out the act after she lied to their mother that she had made plans to enroll him in a school, but it was all a lie.

Instead, she sold the young boy for the sum of N410,000 to one Efunaya Nabufe who trafficked him to Enugu State.

After she was apprehended, she confessed that it was the state of the country that drove her to that extent, then went on to explain what she did with the money.

She said; “I used the proceeds of the crime to buy a grinding machine so I can start a business and also gave my boyfriend N200,000 to buy items required for our tradition wedding.”

The mother of the victim who is shocked at her daughter’s action, has narrated her part of the story.

Recounting the incidence, she said;

“I used the proceed of the crime to buy a grinding machine so I can start a business and also gave my boyfriend N200,000 to buy items required for our tradition wedding Ever since she took away the boy I never heard from him, because any time I called to hear his voice she kept telling me one lie or the other for one year now. I got tired of asking and since I least suspected my own daughter could do this to me, I didn’t raise any alarm As God will have it, she took a proposed husband home to her father in the southeast, the father demanded to know the whereabouts of his child first before attending to her marriage proposal She then lied to him that the kid was dead, but the father consulted an oracle and was told the child was alive. He then threatened her and she opened up and told him the truth; that he was living with a woman in Enugu When her father informed me, I reported the matter to the police who swiftly arrested her and her accomplice, the child trafficker, one Efunaya Nabufe”

Passengers raise alarms as the conductor doze off on a moving commercial bus, sparking unpleasant emotions as occupants fear a dreadful accident.

The viral clip showed the bus conductor in a deep sleep while hanging on the moving bus on a major road.

The video captured the young conductor dropping saliva uncontrollably from his mouth, without being affected by the unpleasant situation.

The surprising position of the conductor sleeping on duty had frightened the passengers, who proceeded to wake him, unfortunately, there was no response.

Voices of the passengers could be held in the background as they alert the driver to stop the vehicle.

Many alleged that the young man was under the influence of a drug, seeing as he didn’t wake up after the passengers tapped him consistently. Some netizens feared the possibility of him falling from the vehicle.

A Nigerian lady has been left rethinking her decision after she received the meal an online vendor sold to her for 18K.

Displaying the content she received in a video shared on TikTok, little portions of Jollof rice and proteins were seen in a plastic container.

According to her, she had four portions of food which cost 18K but what was delivered to her wasn’t anything close to what she ordered.

The meal was dispatched to her but in smaller portions and big containers which mandated her to rant about online.

While some internet users found her case hilarious, others revealed to her that the meal was spilt into different plastic, hence the small portion and large container.

Nigerian lady receives accolades for taking precautions as she covers herself while dressing in her man’s house in order to avoid her leaked nude video.

In a video captured by her partner, the man could be heard in the background questioning the lady on why she often dresses covered in his house.

He wrote,

“She does this everytime, but then I understand”

Responding to him, the lady, who was dressing up with a duvet covering her entire body stated that she was being careful to avoid her leaked nude tape on social media.

The man jokingly mentioned that she feared the news of becoming the victim of a leaked nude tape being mistakenly shared online by her boyfriend.

In spite of her cautiousness, the man was intentionally recording her as she dressed up while having a conversation with the lady.

With no regard, netizens berated the lady’s partner for filming her in the process even though she was covered up. Viewers suggest that the man is capable of disclosing her nude tape if he can record her while dressing.

Nigerians have called for the arrest of a 62-year-old man in Anambra State who has been sexually assaulting his 3-year-old daughter and threatening her mother, his wife if she told anyone.

The man who is a notorious tout in Onitsha not only defiles his daughter but has been molesting her sexually for a long time.

A part of the tweet read;
