An overly concerned Nigerian man has captured a location in Lagos he assumed ladies in serious relationships frequent behind their boyfriend’s back.

The man insinuated that the girls indulge in the prostitution business locally called “hookup” at the popular resort, Good Beach on Lagos island.

He made a video in which he displayed an image of the car pack and pointed to numerous places where he was sure all the ladies went to. He advised the men to seek them out at midnight every day, especially whenever the resort hosts a party.

Netizens fault him for generalizing all girls of partaking in the rendezvous while some promise to check out the place of their babes.

A Nigerian lady has shared on her TikTok page how her daughter escaped death after their decked ceiling fell on the bed she was sleeping on.

Some of the bricks that had fallen from the ceiling were seen lying close to the bed area where the baby, was still fast asleep.

According to the mother of the child, who shared the video online she had laid the baby on the bed to sleep while going about her daily routines.

However, when she came back to check on the child she found out that some parts of the decked ceiling had fallen close to where her daughter was laid.

She could be seen in the clip thanking God for protection because the incident had no effect on her daughter.

Shared on Instagram by @themuvmntstudio, a podcast hosted by Simidrey, a Libya returnee by the name of Jerry Adelu narrates his harrowing migration story.

According to him, he was deceived by his then client when he worked as a dry-cleaner to travel to Germany by land. He would journey through some African countries then sail to the European country.

It was when he and thousands of Nigerians got stuck in the desert and were kidnapped that he realized that he had made a grave mistake.

Part of the ordeals they went through was the starvation and severe dehydration, causing them to desperately drink each other’s body waste fluid.

Nigerians have knocked the PRO for the Nigerian police force, Olumuyiwa Adejobi for branding a suspect as a criminal and claiming that he died due to asphyxiation, not police torture.

The officer had made this claim after a video of the deceased mother crying over the loss of her son was shared online.

It was reported that a young man by the name of Erasmus had died while in police custody after being apprehended by the force on counts of being a cultist, rape, and killing the innocent.

The mother of the deceased had said while on air with human rights radio that her son was killed by the police and they refused to let her see the body.

The clip which circulated on social media platforms real quick, grasped the attention of the NPF PRO who was quick to debunk the rumor.

He said; “The matter is an old one and it has been decided. The FCT command handled the case. The autopsy report cleared the air on this. The boy, who was a cultist and arrested for alleged raping and killing of a young lady in the company of his friend, was never tortured by the police. He died of asphyxiation, according to the autopsy. Not torture, please. We didn’t kill Erasmus.”

The statement of the officer triggered a lot of Nigerians who were quick to bring to his attention to the fact that if the young man died from asphyxiation as the autopsy claimed, then he was suffocated.

A Nigerian man based abroad has called for help on behalf of his sister who has constantly been battered by her husband who is a lawyer, for the past 15 years.

Sharing on X (Twitter) he posted that this time, her abusive husband had hit his sister on the head with a pestle in front of one of their daughter.

He also added that her husband started hitting her months after they got married but they resolved the case internally because of their conservative background.

His tweet read;

“In 2009, my sister Annabel Uzu, married Christopher Onyemali, a lawyer based in Asaba. Within a month of their wedding, he started beating her. Over the years, the beatings became more violent with each case resolved internally due to our conservative background. Today, my sister placed a video call on our family’s WhatsApp Group, and she was bleeding profusely and crying. Her husband had hit her head with a pestle in front of their daughter (one of 5 kids) To say that I am livid is putting it mildly. My other other siblings and I are currently outside Nigeria and my parents, who are around, are too old to handle this. Please, Nigerian youths I need your help to bring this man to justice. Please if you have any contact in the Ministry of Woman Affairs that can help or with the Nigerian Police, please help!”

While some Nigerians offered to help, others blamed him and his family for neglecting their sister whom they knew had been abused.

A 53-year-old electrician turned fraudster, Temidayo Olagundoye, has confessed that he went into crime because he was duped three years ago.

Olagundoye, who is the leader of a counterfeit currency syndicate, was paraded alongside 47 suspected criminals by the Ondo state security outfit, otherwise known as Amotekun, in Akure, the state capital.

In an interview with the Vanguard Newspaper press, the suspect said that his gang had defrauded sixteen victims. According to him,

“I have been involved in one-chance operation and defrauding people for over three years. Our route is along the Ondo/Akure/Osogbo/Ife highway. After some unsuspecting passengers might have boarded our vehicles, I will ask one of my gang members what is inside the bag with him, and he will respond that it is dollars with a charm on it. The charm we put on the fake dollar is not real; it was just to deceive our victims. We do get the fake dollars from Lagos. About sixteen people have fallen into our trick, with N260,000 being our highest catch.”

So apparently, they would deceive their victims by getting their naira notes changed to dollars with charm. They often use spells to instruct them to bring all their valuables and money for dollar exchange which are fake.

Temidayo shares further, “I used to be an electrician, but I was duped in Abuja. After I was duped, I decided to also dupe people.”

A Nigerian man has shared on TikTok why he stopped allowing ladies to sleep at his place after a suspicious incident occurred.

Sharing his story, he revealed that one of the ladies he had invited over wouldn’t stop staring at him while he slept.

The young man who disclosed that he met the lady online, said he felt something was off about her because of her makeup choice but decided to wave it off.

A part of his post read;

“She wore this black lipstick and had this black eyeliner around her eyes (that thing called tiro). It made her look a little too bold aura to her (I can’t explain it though) I think she must have been talking to me while I slept off. Before this my room lights were off so everywhere was dark. I woke up from sleep to find this girl staring at me. Remember the black lipstick and the eyeliner? The room was dark, her face was dark, and all I could see was her eyes and a little bit of her face I could feel my skin crawl. Was it fear? I don’t know. She played it off with a smile and said “You look very handsome” and then she lay down. I left to the bathroom and came back to the room. I checked the time and it was 1 am. I came back to the room, switched off the lights, and slept off again. I woke up again around 3 am and she was staring at me. It wasn’t a friendly stare at all. I asked her “Why are you not asleep?”. A 40-year-old man named Ismail Azizi in an interview with Afrimax relayed how he died and came back to life six times, he revealed how his community thinks he is a ghost and great witch because he refused to stay dead.

He shared the ostracization he faced from his community, family, and friends. This belief led them to burn him in his house, causing him to die from smoke inhalation, but he still later came back to life.

A man interviewed alongside him to give an account, Al Mansi says,

“When the incident happened, I witnessed everything because I and others were in charge of burying him. Just before the ceremony started, he came out of the coffin. Everyone there immediately ran away because it was terrifying to see someone you know is dead come back to life. This wasn’t the only time; there were other occasions where he died and came back to life.”

Ismail explained that each time he dies, his family and friends gather for his funeral, but he always comes back to life. He described his experiences, “Life continued, but I felt there was something wrong. Every time I died and came back, my body felt strange. Because of the witches in our area, people started treating me as if I were a witch.”

He also shared a serious accident at work where everyone thought he had died. “They took me to the hospital in critical condition, and the doctors told my friends and relatives that I was dead. They took me to the morgue, but I woke up feeling very cold. Fortunately, the morgue wasn’t closed, and I walked out. When my family saw me, they ran away because they thought I was a ghost.”

Ismail also relayed when he died from malaria, “As soon as they placed me in the coffin, I woke up and realized I was alive. This was the second time it had happened. People didn’t believe I was real; they thought I was a ghost.”

He spoke about another incident: “During a trip, our car collided with another vehicle carrying fuel, and I went into a coma. Even the doctors became scared because they had seen me come back to life multiple times. They started treating me as if I were a witch.”

He lives a solitary live and termed his experience as a gift from God as he shared that his grandfather had also resurrected from the dead during his lifetime.

The men jokingly lament how tight the elevator is, that it can not contain two people in it unless they embrace each other which they did.

One of them who with the camera was heard saying,

Sharing on TikTok, the lady who identifies as @TheFabolousPat mimicked passengers who prefer to hire a car-hailing service instead of boarding public transport to enjoy a cinematic ride.

Award-winning Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Balogun, professionally known as Wizkid took to social media to celebrate his mum, Juliana Morayo Balogun’s posthumous birthday.

The singer’s mum passed away in August 2023 and was laid to rest in Lagos by her family in October 2023. Mrs. Balogun was survived by her husband, children, and grandchildren.

Sharing on the microblogging platform, X, the 33-year-old mourned his late mother as he celebrated her first posthumous birthday. He emphasized how life has been empty without his mother.

Wizkid recently announced that his new album “Morayo” will pay tribute to his mother.

Amusement trails the viral video of a content creator displaying her anger to a fan who comments negatively on her posts on the internet.

In the video, she traced the keypad warrior to her shop and questioned her aggressively on the reason she picks on her content on social media.

It is apparent the content creator had had her fill of the unsavory reactions of the troll to her craft and decided to chase her down to a physical confrontation.

The fan however was at a loss for words as she tried to pacify the woman saying she was her fan and nothing else.

A viral video of a Catholic Church in Ojo, Lagos flooded by the heavy rainfall on July 3, 2024, has raised eyebrows as Nigerians call attention to the importance of proper flood management.

The video shared by a church member revealed the entire worship center was swamped with water including the church’s sacred altar, which was covered in flood water after the heavy downpour.

Drama ensues between a lady and a cabbie over his refusal to switch on the air conditioner as he insists on saving his fuel.

In the video shared online, the young lady expressed displeasure over the driver’s unprofessionalism, which immediately led to an altercation between the two in the car.

The driver had informed her about his intention of not putting on the car AC because of the flooded area until they approached the highway.

In spite of her understanding, the driver was hell-bent on refusing to put on the air conditioner even though the car was on the highway, causing a shouting match.

The lady exclaimed that the popular car-hailing service charged her a fee of N7,200 but the driver made the trip unsatisfactory. She gave a pledge not to make payment after the trip.

She insisted it was her right as a passenger to be in a cool space on the trip and she would be paying.

The lady’s rage has triggered reactions online with many sharing their experience. Netizens concur with the driver’s opinion, claiming the flood can damage the car’s electrical components.

Lagos State Ministry of Environment and Water Resources Sealed An Apartment For Disposal Of Refuse Into Flood

Lagos State Ministry of Environment and Water Resources has sealed a residential apartment situated in Itire-Ikate local government, Surulere for disposing of refuse into the flood on July 3, 2024.

The swift action occurred after a young man immediately called the attention of the environmental agency on social media in the early hours of the morning, sharing a picture evidence of the residents disposing their waste on the street while it was raining heavily.

The young man identified as @adetutuadeoye3 on X (Twitter) wrote,

“This people just poured out their waste to the street water This is no 2 akewukewe street beside ikate local government in ijesha surulere”

Without further ado, the office of the Environmental and Water Resources Ministry forced its officials to locate the residence, who identified the house as No 2, Akewukewe Street, Ikate, Surulere.

“UPDATE: The house has been identified and locked immediately by Environmental Health Service Department of Itire-Ikate LCDA”

No 2, Akewukewe Street, Ikate, Surulere was sealed today 3rd July, 2024 due to indiscriminate disposal of by men of the Monitoring & Compliance department of Lawma_gov”

As shown in the picture, the residential apartment has been sealed by the local government area and Lagos Waste Management Authority for indiscriminating disposal that could cause drainage blockage.

The Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps has apprehended some miscreants who were charging passer-bys N100 before they were allowed to use the makeshift crossover bridge at Tradefair.

The video which captured the young men committing these acts, went viral, and many internet users called for them to be brought to justice.

The clip had captured the men, charging pedestrians hundred naira before letting them use the makeshift crossover bridge.

The Honourable Commissioner for the Ministry of Environment and Water Resources, Lagos, Tokunbo Wahab swung into action after he came across the video.

He disclosed that the preparators of the acts had been caught, then went on to share videos of them being whipped away by the LAGESC.

The commissioner also mentioned in the tweet he shared on X (Twitter) that the men who be prosecuted according to the law.

His tweet read; “Following a complaint made by @ARISE0214, miscreants charging people for using the makeshift crossover bridge at Tradefair this morning have been arrested by the operatives of Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps @LAGESCOfficial. They will be prosecuted according to the law.“

While some Nigerians thanked him for his swift response to the situation, others tagged him to other environmental problems.

Lady shocks many as she recounts the embarrassing moment her sanitary pad fell on the road at Ikeja under the bridge.

Sharing on TikTok, the lady identified as @dinaka04 disclosed that the shocking moment didn’t stop her from forging ahead despite how embarrassed she felt in public.

She noted that when the pad fell off from her body, the transporters present were quick to alert her as they emerged to shouting, making her feel uncomfortable on the spot.
