Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham has announced that she is shutting down her fertility herbal business due to ‘structural disagreement’ with her partners.
The proud mother of one launched the business in October last year, shortly after she birthed her first child, IreOluwa.
However, barely three months after launch, the actress has taken to her social media handle to state that the business would be closing, but all pending offers would be attended to.

A Nigerian man, Olayinka Odukoya Ajibola has publicly announced his decision of becoming an atheist after stumbling upon compelling facts about his ex-wife allegedly stealing and selling his properties to church members.

The online shopping mogul who made the announcement via a YouTube video, described the contest as a “serious social trial” to see what impact a million yen ($9,000) could have on 1000 people’s life.
The billionaire who tied the giveaway to the idea of basic income, or the theory of providing a periodic no-strings-attached payment to all citizens that has gained traction in some political circles and is backed by Democratic U.S. presidential candidate Andrew Yang, urged contestants who are only expected to retweet his January 1 post to use the money “as they like” and to answer regular questionnaires about how they’re using it.
Almost everyone was eligible for the contest which ended on January 7. Over 4 million people participated and it is expected a lottery will determine those who chosen. Maezawa will personally notify them in a direct message within two to three days, while the impact of the money will be tracked through regular surveys.

The Director-General, National Council for Arts and Culture, Olusegun Runsewe, has been sentenced to jail.
Runsewe’s sentencing comes months after he called popular Nigerian cross-dresser, Bobrisky a national disgrace.
A Federal Capital Territory High Court in Maitama on Thursday, January 9, convicted and sentenced Runsewe to jail for contempt of court. The judge, Jude Okeke, who gave the order, said Mr Runsewe should be kept in the facility of the Nigerian Correctional Service in Kuje “until he purges himself of contempt.”
The judge described Mr Runsewe’s act as highly contemptuous and ordered that he should be arrested with immediate effect and hand him over to the NCS pending when he retraces his steps. He said this would serve as a deterrent to others who abuse office and disobey court orders with disdain.
Justice Jude Okeke made the order while ruling on a motion drawn from a suit filed by Ummakalif Limited against Minister of the FCT, Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA), DG of NCAC, and the Minister for Culture and Tourism, as the first, second, third and fourth defendants respectively.
In the motion, the claimant sought an order of the court committing Runsewe to prison for contempt of court order made on December 15, 2017.

Super Falcons of Nigeria and FC Barcelona player, Asisat Oshoala has taken to Twitter to react after discovering that five Nigerian officials didn’t vote for her to win the CAF Award which she eventually won without their votes.

In a futile attempt to escape deportation, two Nigerian nationals who have been living illegally in India for the past six years, allegedly staged a fight in a crowded market in Greater Noida, to land themselves in jail.
Their alleged plan, however backfired when a video of the incident, which took place last Saturday afternoon, went viral and came to the attention of police.
Ose and Ayuvoi, who stay in Sector Omega 1, Greater Noida, were seen attacking each other with a big knife and a blunt object at Jagat Farm market by eyewitnesses, said police.
“We received the information from a passerby. The two men were brought to the Beta 2 police station. No one filed a complaint and there were no injuries. They were released after signing personal bonds,” said Tanu Upadhyay, circle officer 1, Greater Noida.
Charles Kennedy, a representative of an outfit working for Nigerians in India, told TOI that the two men came to India in 2014 on tourist visas and had been living illegally since then.
“They knew that they were illegal citizens and in order to continue living here, they probably staged this fight. I have informed police and they will be deported to Nigeria very soon,” he said.
Police stated they realised that the fight was fake after they saw the video.
“In the video they are seen attacking each other. However, not a single injury was reported. It seems that they staged the scene to get arrested. I have personally asked the local intelligence unit (LIU) to facilitate their deportation in the next 10 days,” said Upadhyay.
In July 2019, Noida police had checked the documents of more than 300 foreign nationals living in Greater Noida. Out of these, 60 were found to be illegal citizens.
Noida police say that a lot of foreigners come to the city for education and medical purposes and stay back.
“We run campaigns from time to time to filter them out. A massive crackdown is being planned now too,” Upadhyay said.

Gunmen who have been suspected to be herdsmen, on Thursday, killed 12 persons and injured one at Kulben village of Kombun District of Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau.
DSP Terna Tyopev, Plateau Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) stated that the incident occurred in the early hours of Thursday.
“In the early hours of today, we received a distress call that gunmen, suspected to be herdsmen attacked Kulben community of Kombun District of Mangu. As a result, 12 persons lost their lives and one severely injured. Immediately we received the information, the commissioner in charge of the command, Mr Isaac Akinmoyede, directed the DCP in charge of Operations, Mr Aliyu Tafida to mobilise to the scene.
As I speak, our team of detectives and other officers are in the scene of the crime to prevent further attacks,” he said.
The victims were buried on Thursday evening amidst tears. A member of the community posted the photos describing the killing as “disheartening and painful”.

An Ohio based couple who were married for 64 years, reportedly died together on Christmas Eve.
It was gathered that the couple, Bill and Nancy Schafraths who died just three hours apart from each other, with Bill’s life ending first, were indeed not survived by any children.
According to reports, they both during their lifetime, enjoyed playing cards and spending a lot of time outdoors.
While Bill, aged 88 died around 7am, Nancy aged 85 died at 11 am with both holding each others hands even in death.
Speaking on the demise of the couple, a family member, Pat Cornelius said;
“In the last couple weeks, when he couldn’t get out of bed anymore, we’d push their beds together in the middle of the room. “So they literally held hands for the last week of their life.”
The couple’s nephew identified as John Moritz, said the couple knew they were going to die together. Moritz said,
“It’s almost like they decided that if one went, the other would go, too. Somehow they knew.”
The Schafraths, who enjoyed playing cards and spending a lot of time outdoors, did not have any children. According to Cornelius, Bill grew his own tomatoes and liked to cook. Cornelius said,
“He was a cook in the Army, and so he did all the cooking for them. And he loved taking care of his beautiful home and garden outside. Everything was meticulous all the time.
The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC has issued the condition under which drivers can make use of Google map while driving.
FRSC corps marshal, Boboye Oyeyemi, said the only condition road users could use Google map is with the aid of car-holding phone devices, adding that anyone caught holding their phone while using the map will be arrested and prosecuted.
He said,
“The use of google map while driving is allowed, but hand-held driving and usage are offences associated with driving and anyone caught would face the law squarely.
If you must use Google map while driving, you must get the car-holding phone devices which is both for your safety and for better usage of the device and the application,”

Reality tv star, Kim Kardashian has been trending on social media recently over a photo she posted of herself by her walk-in refrigerator.
The photo got people pondering over the contents of her fridge and when the mother of four saw that people were fazed with her fridge, she decided to upload a video giving a tour of her kitchen… and ‘refrigerators’ and their contents.
The photo she shared of her kitchen showed her by a nearly bare refrigerator, which only contained water, ginger ale, and a few other drinks.
Kim’s video of the tour of her kitchen displayed the room to be size of a New York apartment. She guided fans through her kitchen, complete with a frozen yogurt machine, and a pantry packed with sprinkles for the frozen yogurt.
She starts the video by saying,
“Okay, so since the inside of my fridge is so baffling, and I saw all these news reports, I’m going to give you guys a tour of my fridge… I saw a bunch of comments from people wondering how I feed my [four] children and since you guys are dying to know.”

Kim finished the tour by revealing that she has yet another pantry, filled with baking supplies, oatmeal, and similar goods. She also has a third fridge for eggs and oat milk and a freezer for all their other needs right next to it.
