Popular Nigerian singer Speedy Darlington has cried out online concerning how he is forced to starve following the arrest of those guilty of naira abuse.

Stating his plight in a video which he shared on his TikTok page, he disclosed that nobody sprayed him at his recent show.

Recall that Bobrisky and Cubana Chief priest were arraigned over naira mutilation and the EFCC promised to apprehend other individuals who are guilty of the crime.

According to Speedy Darlington, people refused to spray him money because of fear of being arrested by the EFCC for naira mutilation.

Speedy who claimed that the actions of the EFCC and Nigerian Government have caused him to starve said he steadily depends on the money people spray on him to feed.

Speedy also spoke about how the new rule would affect the job of the majority and pleaded with the government to review it.

He said;

Nigerian man has taken to social media to share the shocking moment his chicken was snatched in Lagos traffic while he was filming himself.

The young man identified as @kayzywizzzy stated that the action happened swiftly and unexpected. He expressed shock after the chicken he was eating in his car was snatched from him in traffic.

In the viral video, the young man was in the car recording himself and lamenting about the traffic ahead, unknown to him the thief was beside the car monitoring him.

As he tried to take a bite of the chicken, the thief jumped out of the corner and quickly snatched the chicken while he took to his heels simultaneously. Meanwhile, the thief was aiming for his phone but he grabbed the chicken instead.

In his tweet, he wrote,

“Lagos is a wild place, I’m tired why you go snatch person chicken for traffic??? Omo funny thing is my phone I use privacy screen on my phone with a low brightness, I would have noticed him when he showed in the video at first before grabbing”

Nigerian billionaire businessman, Emeka Okonkwo, famously known as E-money has vowed to assume full responsibility for raising his children as if they were his own.

Recall that Junior Pope posted a video on social media and captioned it, saying he was crossing the Niger River without a life jacket to get to the movie set.

Before the mishap, Junior Pope recorded a video in which he begged the boat driver to slow down and remember that he was a man with obligations at home.

Sadly, he did not survive the tragedy; he left behind a wife and three small boys.

E-money pledged to look after Jnr. Pope’s remaining children, to treat them like his own kids and to assume responsibility for them.

Video of young girl fetching water in an unusual manner has raised alarm on social media as she was captured pumping the water in an exercise-like manner.

The video which went viral on the Internet after it was posted on TikTok, revealed the young girl jumping vigorously on an iron which happen to be the pump control.

The young girl could be seen jumping on the pump control to increase to water current and also to prevent it from stopping. She continuously jumped while moving on both sides of the concrete to maintain her balance.

However, the manner in which she was fetching water portrayed that it was the only means to fetch water from the pump.

Despite the fact that the water is clean, social media users disapprove the manner which the girl was fetching water advising that the community should have done a proper borehole.

As the video went viral, viewers disapproved it as majority stated that the young girl could sustained injury in her sensitive body part if she misses her step while others opined she was doing a combined activity by exercising and fetching water.

An 82-year-old retired accountant, James Aina, has explained that the reason they had five sons was because his late wife wanted a girl.

In an interview, he told the Punch that while his wife had already started sewing garments for a girl, she had intended for their first child to be a girl. However, the child was born a boy.

Aina told the story of how they tried again which resulted in a boy for the second child, and so on until they had five boys.

Sharing his experience raising five boys, the man said; “It was difficult because boys are tough. In my case, we have five boys and there used to be quarelling and misunderstanding amongst them, and I had to intervene. It’s not been easy. My wife was a seamstress and she had already sewn female clothes, thinking that her first child would be a girl. However, it turned out to be a boy. The second one turned out to be a boy too. So the dresses she had sewn for girls were later worn by her first son.

“I and my wife agreed to have two children; a boy and a girl. So after we had two boys, she wasn’t happy because she wanted a girl. We welcomed the third son and when we got to five sons, she became uninterested and said she had had enough. It’s much easier to raise girls than to raise boys. Girls, by their nature, are not as troublesome as boys, so they can be easily managed.”

On what his regrets are, Aina said; “God has been kind and faithful to me. I only regret that my wife did not live long to reap the fruits of her labour. She died in 2009 at 64 years. Since her demise, my daughters-in-law have been very good to me. They have been giving all the necessary assistance and support.”

The bereaved mother of Precious, the sound engineer who lost his life longside Junior pope, has cried out in a recent video begging the governor of Rivers and other well-intending citizens to help her bring her son’s corpse home for burial.

The late Precious worked in the production crew of the now deceased Junior Pope the actor. They both, with two others met untimely death while travelling back on a canoe from a location.

Their death caused pain and grief for their families and loved ones of which was Precious’s mom.

Judging from their death in the river, the community allegedly upheld the tradition of burying victims of drowning beside the river. Or the families involved pay for the rituals in appeasing the river deity.

Precious’s mom could not afford the ritual fee and has begged Nigerians to help her in bringing back her son’s body for burial in their home in Rivers.

She added that her late son had been the one taking care of her as she is sick and could no longer see. She also mentioned the engineer’s landlord calling her to inform her that her son’s spirit is disturbing them in Asaba where he resided before his death.

The woman calls on Governor Fubara of Rivers state to aid in ensuring that Precious’ body is buried in his home so his spirit can finally rest.

The video which was shared on Instagram by Iyabo Ojo captured Mohbad’s mum calling on all government authorities to come to her aid.

According to Iyabo Ojo, who shared the video with a lengthy caption, she noted that she had received a distress call from Mohbad’s mum in the early hours of today.

Where she stated that Mohbad’s dad and a particular online blogger have been stalking, bullying, and harassing her for a while now.

The online blogger whom Mohbad’s mum accused of stalking and harassing her had posted her address and picture of the apartment where she lived on her Facebook page.

Mohbad’s mum was heard in the video saying;

Award-winning Nigerian singer, Tiwatope Omolara Savage, known professionally as Tiwa Savage, has revealed that she had abandoned her passion of acting because she had a crush on a man.

Tiwa claimed that she gave up on her ambition to be an actress and pursued music instead in order to be near her crush, who was frequently surrounded by artists.

In an interview with MTV Live, Tiwa disclosed this while discussing her work as a producer and promoting “Water and Garri,” her upcoming film project.

Popular Nigerian businessman and entertainer Pascal Okechukwu, also known as Cubana Chief Priest has been granted bail following his arrest by the EFCC over Naira abuse.

The celebrity barman who showed up at court today pleaded not guilty to his charges and was granted a bail of N10 million naira.

He had earlier been arrested by the Economic Financial Crimes Commission over spraying, tampering, and abuse of naira notes.

The Federal High Court in Lagos State has now granted the socialite N10 million naira bail with two sureties in like sum.
